Perfect princess wedding dress

I had the best experience getting my wedding dress from Nancy's! The store is so beautiful, and they had a great selection of dresses. I was so excited finding my dream dress!
They did lots of customizations to my dress once it came in to make it even more perfect. We added off the shoulder straps, more lace to the neckline and a hoop under the skirt for more fullness. I also had a long sleeved bolero for the ceremony to have two looks. It was my perfect princess dress for my happily ever after!

Beautiful Bridesmaid Dresses

My bridesmaids and I had a wonderful experience picking out their dresses from Nancy’s. They helped us with ideas and had a range of sizes so each of my bridesmaids could find something they loved. They all ended up choosing the first dresses they tried on! There was a little bit of a mixup ordering my matron of honor’s dress - they didn’t order it when she put down her deposit but waited until each bridesmaid had made a deposit, which was a couple months later. We freaked out a little because my matron of honor lives out of town and it was going to be complicated to get it to her. As soon as we figured out the issue Nancy’s was on it and made sure she had her dress with plenty of time to get it altered. They all looked so beautiful - thanks Nancy’s!

I had the best experience wedding dress shopping at Nancy's! My consultant, Sarah, was fun, understanding, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. She understood exactly what I was looking for and didn't try to change my mind. Everyone on staff treated me, and the large group of ladies I brought, so well. I left feeling like a princess. Nancy did a stellar job on the alterations and everything was finished way in advance. I'm so thankful for my experience with Nancy's and would recommend it to any bride!

Nancy's Bridal was able to squeeze me in the week of my wedding for some major alterations to fix what another dress shop had done. Although my dress fit almost perfectly upon arrival, the previous shop had done some minor alterations that made things worse and then they couldn't figure out how to correct. I called Nancy's and they got me in for 3 separate fittings in less than a week to make sure my dress was fixed and perfect. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Although I didn't buy my dress there, I did end up buying a veil there and was very happy with their alterations and quick friendly service. Thanks Nancy's for saving my dress!

I went to a few other shops before heading to Nancy's Bridal, but glad I stopped by. I didn't have the typical experience of going to the bridal boutique with all my bridesmaids & extended women in the family, just went with my mother & grandmother at first who were too quiet and didn't offer any opinions really.
Nancy herself helped me with choosing dresses and voiced opinions when needed, but not too much and even she knew when I put the one on, that this was likely going to be the dress. I left to think about it and went to another store or two but came back to this one. She helped me fit straps onto a strapless dress, and I went back 3 times for fittings (they were complicated straps) and didn't stop until I was happy, which I very much appreciated.
I think there are so many types of brides, lots of different personalities, and picking a dress is an emotional process, but she did a great job in helping me with it. Alterations came out perfect, she ordered the dress a little bit earlier than needed to make sure we had plenty of time for alterations (good thing she did) and it was beautiful when I received it. I couldn't have been happier with the level of service & professionalism I received from Nancy and her team.

I said yes to the dress at Nancy's! First of all, my experience was absolutely wonderful due to the fact that I had the best consultant-Sarah!! Sarah was the sweetest and most understanding consultant and truly listened to what I wanted for my big day. I went to another boutique right before my appointment at Sophia's and had a bad experience with a unenthusiastic consultant. Sarah changed my whole groups mood and the first dress I tried on at Nancy's was the one k chose! Besides my perfect dress the best part about Nancy's was that you get such great discounts on wedding party attire. 20% off bridesmaid dresses and all of my accessories. 15% off mother of the bride/groom dresses and flower girl dresses. All alterations are done on site which is a huge peek! I HIGHLY suggest all brides go check out Nancy's! Thank you so much Sarah!!

As soon as I went into Nancy's bridal boutique I feel in love with the place. The service was great and everyone was very helpful. I found my wedding dress there and my bridesmaids dresses there too. They were actually cheaper than other stores we looked at too. I recommend this place to any bride.

I got my wedding dress from Nancy's and found it on my very first visit. I gave Nancy an idea of what I was looking for, and she did an excellent job accommodating this and using her own expertise of what may fit my desired look and body type. It was easy to schedule follow up fittings; I never had to wait to get back and be taken care of. They made the experience special and personable, and I am one very happy bride! On another note, we also got the bridesmaids' dresses here- all the girls LOVED their dresses and I've received 10+ comments asking where they were from and admiring how beautiful they are. Perfect experience across the board.

They store was clean and bright with plenty of room for all my friends and family to sit. They let me take my time and re-try a few dresses. Nancy's was absolutely amazing! I walked into the store with an idea of what type of dress I wanted, and they helped me match up some of the pictures I had brought in as well as some other dresses I may have liked. When I set out to do some dress shopping, I first scheduled an appointment with a big-name chain store. My appointment wasn't until the afternoon, so my sister and I went into Nancy's just to 'look around.' We knew we wouldn't be able to try anything on since I didn't have an appointment and expected that. When a salesperson approached us, we said that were just looking. She was very nice and mentioned that if we'd like, to write down the #'s of any of the dresses I did like. She said there was some time that I could try a few dresses on if I wanted. So we looked and I picked 3 dresses and they were able to fit me in that morning! Obviously that isn't always the case but I felt like it was a 'sign'. The first dress I tried one I immediately fell in love with it and it actually ended up being the one I chose. We scheduled an appointment for the following weekend to come back with my mom to try it on. After leaving, I didn't even want to go to the other place, but we did. It was not a great experience. I felt like I was in a cattle call--- so unorganized and crowded and my salesperson was working with multiple other people. Needless to say, I did not go back and instead went back to Nancy's and chose that first dress! My fitting appointments went well and I was thankful I didn't need any alterations. I did need to get the bustle put in however, and was expecting that to be at least $100 but it only cost $35! They also offered to store the dress until my wedding day which was very convenient.

Nancy's did a good job on the dress for me. I went in to try on dresses and was told of a weekend sale, so they told me to call in my order if I couldn't come back. I thought that was nice of them to give me the heads up. I ordered it over the phone with no issues. I was also flying in from out of state for the fittings and they don't usually do fittings on the weekends, but they did for me and showed great flexibility and customer service. When I went in for one of the fittings I couldn't walk in the dress b/c of all the layers of tulle were too long and Nancy's mom didn't want to hem it for me to try to walk in. Nancy intervened and asked her to do it so that I could see how it moved.

The tailoring worked out perfect, the dress was perfect, and I had no real issues.

Nancy's was great! I had a big bridal party with me (7 people) and they were very accommodating to everyone. They also spent a lot of time with me figuring out what kind of dress I was looking for and didn't get frustrated when I tried 2 dresses on again so I could pick between them. I tried three different bridal stores with Nancy's being the last. I canceled four other appointments after trying on six or seven dresses here.

Sadly, I cannot remember the consultants name right now, but she was outstanding. The best by far. She gave me wonderful ideas, and she picked up on my taste right away. Ultimately, she chose a dress she felt I would like, which was complete opposite of what I had been wanting. As soon as I put it on in the fitting room, I knew.

When I walked out to my family, they were immediately in tears, as was I. The consultant did wonders and she chose the perfect veil.

I have yet to go to a fitting yet, and will update once I do. As of right now, I highly recommend Nancy's!

My salesperson Kristi was great! I had a not so great experience at another bridal shop. Nancy's Bridal was great. Kristi was very attentative. She made sure she gave me plenty of options & took her time to fit me into my choices. She was very thourough in explaining the pricing & payment options along with how the alterations work. I was very satisfied with my experience. The shop was busy the day I came in yet I was handled with respect & great customer service. They also have plenty of reasonably priced gowns to choose from.

Absolutely the best bridal salon in Indy. Nancy herself attended to me as I searched for my perfect dress. It was the third shop I’d been to and I tried on dress after dress without success. Nancy listened closely to the features I liked and disliked and then hand picked a dress for me to try. It was the one! My daughter found her perfect wedding dress at Nancy's Bridal Boutique. We were helped by a lovely young lady who worked within our budget. The dress chosen by my daughter, was actually brought to our attention by this young lady, after my daughter had tried on several others that she herself had picked out. The one from the young lady ended up to be The One! She seemed as excited as we were about our daughter finding the perfect dress! The atmosphere in the boutique was quite elegant and made the day very special for all of us. The dress came in, in plenty of time and, after some minor alterations with the length, was ready well before the wedding date. The alterations were a little pricey, but well worth it, since none of us wanted to tackle the job of shortening the layers of the dress.

I bought my dress, sash shoes and veil and headpiece all fromNancy's Bridal. I had been out dress shopping with little over 4 months to plan my wedding, when after appointments at a few other stores I walked into Nancy's. Even though I did not have an appointment Sarah on the sales floor allowed me to pull some dresses and try them on. Sarah helped me narrow down the look I wanted and eventually pulled the dress I knew I had to have (it was even in budget)! She then showed me sashes which complemented the dress and that was it I was ready to order! Because of the time crunch sarah called right away to make sure I could get the dress in time to have it fitted and altered and it just happened that the manufacturer had just one in stock in my size - I guess it was meant for me! The dress and sash came in quickly and the fitting were very easy with such an efficient staff.
The only thing I would criticize is that there were no shoes there in my size to try on (8-8.5) so I had to guess at a size to order (I went with my usual 8). When the shoes came in I determined I needed a half size larger (8.5) which they were happy to order, but I ended up having to pay a $20-25 restocking fee. I thought that this fee should have been waived as they did not have either size to try on in the first place and I had spent quite a bit of money there already. Besides that though I did not have any issues and thought the staff was great and really made the dress buying fun and easy!

Nancy's was fantastic! After getting my dress selection down to two gowns, the main deciding factor was that I wanted to buy the one from Nancy's because of the wonderful customer service I received. We bought both my wedding gown and all the girl's bridesmaid dresses from Nancy's and I couldn't of been happier with the turnout. I LOVED my dress, and although it was a bit pricy to get it altered there, they did a great job. They made me feel special and beautiful every time I came in for a fitting- I'd recommend Nancy's to anyone!

I got my wedding dress at Nancy's and was very happy with my experience there. They were very helpful and the dress was beautiful and a lot less expensive than I had thought it would be. They also did my alterations there and did an amazing job with them. I didn't have any problems with the dress on my wedding day. They are a little small and it can get crowded and busy there but I would recommend anyone looking for a wedding dress to stop in and look at the dresses here!

Small boutique but with a large selection of gowns at a great range of prices. My gown was beautiful. Although it did not fit properly after the first alterations it did at my final fitting. The young sales associate that assisted me was very sweet and helpful which was refreshing compared to other bridal shops that I had visited.

I purchased my dress at Nancy's. The fitting day was a lot of fun, my consultant was very friendly, flattering, and helpful. They actually let me shop from the racks with my limited time to get the dress unlike a couple of the other boutiques I had been to that day. I found the perfect dress for me and loved every minute I got to wear it! Thank you Nancy's for helping make my day so wonderful!

I got the first dress I tried on! They knew exactly what I was looking for! They have everything for all types of budgets and don't make you feel bad for having a small budget for your dress! My dress is unique and looks like a million bucks (but it wasn't!)

They did a great job of helping me find the perfect dress. Everyone was helpful and willing to spend the time needed to help me. The alterations were reasonable however my dress bustle wouldn't stay in at reception and my dress ended up ripping :(.

I went to here first for dress shopping, and funny enough, I did not plan to buy from here because I thought it would be out of reach budget-wise. I visited before for a friend and remembered their excellent customer service/fitting, but now that it was my turn, I returned solely for the heck of it and also to get a better idea of prices for what I was looking for.

In the end, I not only ordered my dress from here, but I had a flawless experience and attribute that to my consultant, Shirley. She made me feel comfortable (after all, you're getting naked in front of a stranger!), picked up on my style quickly, fitted the dresses on my petite figure very well, and did not give me any attitude when I disclosed my budget ($1,000), which I know is on the low end of their spectrum. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better experience and am so glad that I gave Nancy's Bridal a shot. Definitely ask for Shirley!

I bought a dress off the rack and had my alterations done at Nancy's. I looked all over the state of Indiana including a few other states and just despised most wedding gowns. Finally, I walked into Nancy's and they have a wide array of wedding gowns for different styles. I found the perfect dress and they were so helpful. I also love that "Nancy" and her mother and father work there. It truly is a family-owned store and was a great experience!!!

Of all the bridal stores I shopped in, Nancy's was the one that provided the bridal shopping experience I'd always imagined. I worked with several different consultants from my first trip in to when I finaly picked up my dress, and they were all very helpful. After a terrible customer service expereince at the Bridal Superstore down the road, Nancy's was willing to order a dress that they didn't typically carry. Also, friends were allowed to take pictures, unlike at some other stores, which is very helpful for making decisions after the fact, and seeing how a dress photographs. Finally, Nancy's Bridal allowed me to complete a fitting before officially ordering my dress, as I was ordering from out of town.

The alterations, which they do through the shop next store, also turned out great. The dress and the veil I purchased at Nancy's were both flawless, and I would recommend this boutique to anyone looking for a dress.

I absolutely loved my experience at Nancy's Bridal! First of all, the shop itself is adorable and makes you feel like a bride from the moment you walk in the door! It is also organized by styles of dresses which makes the whole process so much easier. They have a wonderful variety of dresses and do not limit how many you can try on. For the most part, my service was wonderful. They were very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy in the slightest when it came to making a purchase. They made the shopping experience so enjoyable and I would definitely recommend them!

I loved my dress and they associates at Nancy's were always very kind. I didn't realize how expensive the alterations would be though. It was $200 just to have the dress hemmed and another $50 for pressing. However, I will always remember Nancy and her team foundly because I found my perfect dress at their store.

I got my dress from Nancys and it was really a great place to work with. The timing on getting the dresses in was a bit slow, but all in all a great place, and you really get that bridal experience trying dresses on here.

I got my wedding dress at Nancy's and they were great. Reasonably priced and had a great selection of wedding dresses. Nancy herself is such a sweetheart and helped me everytime that I went in there. They weren't pushy and didn't make you feel like you had to buy something. I switched out my sash last minute and they accommodated me no problem. All my alterations were done on time.

My only complaint is that an eyehook was missing from the top of my dress (my mom fixed it for me) and my bustle broke towards the end of the night. Maybe look into other places to get your alterations done.

Nancy's Bridal Boutique has been great. Everyone we have dealt with has been super nice. I ordered my dress from here and then my bridesmaids also ordered their dresses. They will work with out of city guests and allow them to call in with their size, instead of making them come in. If you order your wedding dress from them, they also give discounts on anything else you need, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, veils, etc.

I found my dress at Nancy's Bridal and worked with Nancy who was the sweetest person and helped me with everything I needed. At first, shopping on the North side of Indianapolis, I thought I wouldn't find a dress there in my budget, but Nancy's bridal has such a wide variety of dresses in everyone's price range. I bought my dress there 8 months before my wedding and when it came in I wanted to make changes to my dress. At first I thought that there was no way I was going to be able to afford to make the changes I wanted. I decided I wanted the whole skirt of my dress removed and made differently. It was satin and way too heavy for me and I wanted to make it lighter and with ruffles. When I asked if they could make this change I was expecting to be turned down, but to my surprise they said they could do it and the cost was not very expensive and well within my budget. I was so amazed! Nancy's Bridal made my wedding dress dream come true and brought the vision of my dress to life. They have there own alterations people that are amazing-I owe it to them for making my dress so beautiful. Everyone loved it!

The dress was worth every penny that we spent. The consultants didn't prod you with buying a dress they just let you do your own thing. It was very nice to just be able to walk around and look at the selection and choose what you wanted to try on.

I found my dream dress at the small boutique in Indianapolis. I knew it was the one on the day that I first visited the shop, so I was given a 10% discount off the dress. The dress took about 5 months to come in, and I did need alterations. I went in for my first fitting in July, and my second fitting was in August. I had to change my appointments several times since I was out of town and was trying to arrange as little travel trips as possible. Nancy's was very accommodating, and always worked around my schedule. On the second fitting, the dress fit like a glove, and I was able to take it home. I would definitely recommend stopping into this little boutique. They had a wide variety of dress for every size.

1st off, I can't speak to the alterations. I didn't have mine done here, because I didn't want to have to fly in for fittings.
I bought my dress here. It was a Watters Wtoo Brides dress, I loved it.

I drug my friends, family & the poor sales girl through about 2 hours of, this one.... 3 minutes spent changing into the other one, or... this one.
In the end, I went with the one no one really liked except for me, because I had vision. ;)

The sales girl was a doll. She was nice, but a little young, and they really kept her busy. She was kind of running around like a crazy.

It was a bit crowded, and the other sales ladies were a bit.. snobby (for lack of a better word) but I didn't find it off putting. Mind you, I'd been shopping in NYC previously, I can take quite a bit of snobbery.

I picked my dress, paid for 1/2, then the other 1/2 when I picked it up. Price seemed reasonable, based on some online research, and it came with Cap sleeves, which was an added perk. I bought at the lower end of the price range for Nancy's which was appx $1000.

It worked out. It wasn't a WONDERFUL, AMAZING experience.. but it was good. I left happy. A-OK.

I searched and searched before finding a beautifully made wedding gown within my budget at Nancy's. The saleswoman who helped me initially basically helped me construct my dream dress by working with accessories to add unique touches to the simply elegant dress I loved. Later, though, service was often spotty, and the store seems to always feel a bit frantic.

Although this is my lowest rated vendor, I absolutely LOVED my dress. I do recommend going here to look for a dress. I just feel that a few times I went in, I needed a little more help than offered. If you are going in, you should always make an appointment. It will make it easier for you to get service. This is a pretty small store, but that is why I liked it. It seemed more personal than the giant superstores where all the dresses are in plastic bags scrunched to the point you have no idea what the dress is. The store is very elegant and quiet. I probably visited my dress about 3 times before I bought it and about 4 more afterward, counting my one fitting and one pickup (haha). I loved trying it on and showing people!! But they were never mad at me for coming in! Again I feel that all dresses are overpriced (because they can), but I bought a BEAUTIFUL dress (trumpet style, very fitted, ivory satin, beading under the bust and along the hip line) felt wonderful on my sensitve skin, I could walk and dance in it, everyone said I was the most beautiful bride they had ever seen. I still have people asking where I got my dress. Of course I believed them... because I want to!! haha! But I did feel beautiful in it and just like a princess!

I bought my wedding dress, veil and jewelry here. My bridesmaids' dresses also all came from here. This place is small but they have a great selection of really beautiful dresses. I would definitely recommend making an appointment because they get very busy and it is very small. The first appointment I had to pick out my dress went great. It wasn't very crowded and the salesgirl was very helpful. When I went in with my bridesmaids, we had an appointment, but they were really crowded and we didn't get a lot of help. The bridesmaids' dress selection is really great too though. They were very good about calling me to let me know when my things came in. I also had my dress altered here. I thought that the alteration service was a bit pricey, but she did a good job.

I did buy shoes here and when I got them home I discovered they were really uncomfortable. While they did allow me to return the shoes, they charged a restocking fee, which bothered me a little bit since we had already purchased so many things there.

My dress was absolutely gorgeous and I was very happy with it.

The girls at Nancys were great in helping my bridesmaids. They didn't have my maid of honors dress instock, but found a similar style so she could pick a size. The dresses got in two weeks early and all of hem fit perfect.

I purchased my wedding dress and belt from Nancy's Bridal. I chose to try on dresses here because my sister and friend both purchased their wedding dress here. After I went to a few places, I couldn't help but go with a dress I found at Nancy's. They have a large and organized variety of options and I was extremely happy with my dress and it was exactly what I dreamed.

With that being said, there are some hidden costs that the staff fail to mention. When you go in be sure to ask questions about alteration costs. They told me it would make most sense to order up a size and then take alterations in; however, I paid 3/4 the cost of my dress in alteration costs when I went there to try it on. It was a shock and a very stressful day to say the least. I also purchased a belt there (they gave me a discount since I got my dress there) which was also expensive. They told me they would alter it for free, but when I went to pick it up a few days before my wedding they hadn't done so.

They have very very high quality items, but if you choose to purchase your dress there just be sure to ask as many questions as possible and stay on top of their deadlines.

Nancy is extremely sweet and very helpful.

Nancy's selection is impeccable. I loved everything about being in this store. The staff was a bit disorganized and we had several issues with scheduling appointments and they actually ordered the wrong bridesmaid dress. It seems like there is a lot of turnover here, and the seamstress was downright rude. But that being said, I was very pleased with the value and quality of my dress.

Nancy's is a great place to purchase all of your wedding attire needs. It is a very cute, quaint shop that is family owned. This is a fact that is important to realize and to be comfortable with before purchasing any gowns or tuxes from them.

I personally love to shop at local boutiques over places that are nationwide chains - I feel like you are contributing to entrepeneaurs - which I love to do. The one draw back for a person such as myself (read: anal retentive) is they do not keep very good records. I would definitely recommend keeping every piece of paper from them. I didn't have any problems, but it made me nervous that they wrote down the specs for our tuxes on a scrap piece of paper - rather than an order form or something. But, I feel if you know this going into it - you are prepared and everything should be fine.

As for the person who purchased dresses elsewhere and didn't get the discounts or dress steaming - you were given a sheet that layed out all the discounts you will receive for purchasing at their store. I went to another store, picked out a dress, and asked them to order it. (They are in the biz - of course they can get the dress you want! And then give you 20% off on top of it!) We ended up getting my gown, the bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dress, and tuxes all at Nancy's. Everything went well. I will agree that the service is slow at times. Just rememeber that they are very sweet people and do not do it intentionally!

We purchased the bridesmaids dresses for our daughter's wedding at Nancy's bridal. The dresses were beautiful and arrived as promised. I found that when we worked with Barb, the customer service was excellent, did not find this the same with other members of the store. If you go to Nancy's, try and schedule with Barb!

I personally had a spectacular experience with Nancy's; my bridesmaids, groomsmen and father did not. If you visit Nancy's, ask for Barb or Nancy - they are the best! Barb was so helpful, I wouldn't stop in unless she could help me.

My bridesmaids and groomsmen felt a little overlooked when they stopped in to do their measurements. With the exception of one, all called ahead of time to let them know they would be in to do their measurements. They all complained of the lack of attention and felt it was because they weren't there for a bridal gown. The perks for purchasing the bridesmaids dresses from Nancy's as well were worth the trouble. We received 20% off each of their gowns as well as 20% off bridal accessories. My mother would have received a discount as well but we opted to purchase her dress elsewhere.

All in all, I still recommend Nancy's to my soon-to-be-brides. You must overlook the attitudes of a couple employees (again, I recommend you ask for Barb). My dress was perfect. I didn't find anything like it in the Indianapolis area.

I waited for a long time for my dress and when it finally came in it was not the same dress I had tried on six months before. The owner of the store argued that it was the right dress and did not acknowledge it was wrong until I showed pictures from the day I purchased the dress. They did the best the could to recreate it but I would not recommend using this boutique.

My dress was gorgeous and a very reasonable price. I was a little unimpressed by the service. Some of the people were great, but others were a little hard to work with. When trying to decide what size dress to buy, people kept telling me different things and had me worried I might be the wrong size. But the dresses are wonderful, so if you are willing to be a little patient, I would definately check them out.

I loved my dress from them, but as a business I felt like it wasn't run correctly. When I got my dress and tried it on I asked them how much it would be to alter it. She told me about 100 less than what it really called for. If I would have known that I would have found somewhere else to get it altered. After I got it altered it was not pressed for me to try it on, when they said that it would be pressed. They were going to do it that night for me, but then it was going to cost me $55 to get it pressed. They did not tell me about this charge, so I took it to someone in the town that I lived. When I was at the wedding reception my bussel came down and my dress layers became detached from each other, after I asked them to take it up more. They were not very cooperative and did not listen to how I wanted the dress to be altered. During my first dance my husband was afraid of stepping on my dress, so our dance (that we spend $1000 on) did not turn out the way that he wanted it to. I loved my dress, but I did not like any of the people that worked there.

I bought my wedding dress here and went on a weekday morning which I found to be less busy. After purchasing the dress and paying in full it came in about 5 months later. I went in to try it on. I had made an appointment but they were still very busy and it seemed like I had already paid, they werent that worried about tending to me. I had alterations done to the dress but they werent done in the store. The same girl who sold me the dress marked it for alterations. I was wishing the person who was actually going to do the alterations would be marking them but in the end it turned out okay. Alterations were $210 just to take a little of the length and put a bustle in which I thought that was kind of pricy. All in all I loved my dress but be prepared for mediocre service.

It is a very cute shop. The dresses are not super expensive, as you might think walking into the store. The people working there are very nice and willing to help.

However, my problems came once I ordered my dress. I tried it on the day it came in. The owner of the store came over and started pinning my dress for a bustle. I did not ask her to do this, nor did I want her to. I just wanted to enjoy the fact that I got my wedding dress. She told us that they would not alter the dress if it was not paid in full. So, we did not finish paying for the dress, since we did not want the bustle put in yet. However, when I went back in for my second fitting, the dress was missing. It was no longer at the store. They had sent it to the alterations shop. They refused to let me come back the next day and try it on unless I finished paying for the dress. Of course, I refused to finish paying for a dress that it seemed like they lost. So, I scheduled another appointment for the following week. I wanted to pay for the dress and take it with me that day. However, their system was down and they could not locate their copy of our receipt. So, they wouldn't let us pay for the dress. Which meant that I had to come back yet another day. It all worked out in the end. They did make us pay for the alterations. I didn't fight it too much because I just wanted to take my dress and be gone.

They were a fine shop. I wouldn't highly reccomend them. But, I wouldn't completely discourage you from using them. Just be careful and keep records of everything they do and don't do!

I was very excited to go to Nancy's, I had several friends who had great experiences there, however after going I could not say that mine was the same. Upon arriving, we were told that Nancy would be assisting us, however she was not there at the moment (we were about 10 minutes early so that was fine with us). We were told to look around, start pulling some dresses and as soon as Nancy was in, we would get started. We looked around, pulled a few, a friend went and found a dressing room to hang them in. Nancy never helped us the whole time, another sales associate helped me try the dresses we pulled. They never asked budget, and never pulled a dress based on what I was liking or not liking. We felt like an afterthought, and that our time and money were not valued. We chose to try on dresses on a Friday hoping for a more personalized experience and made an appointment a week in advance, but felt like we were walk-ins on a Saturday instead.

When I started shopping for a wedding dress, Nancy's was great. They helped me find the perfect dress. However, I shopped around for my bridesmaids' dresses and ended up not buying them at Nancy's. We actually bought them out-of-state and asked Nancy's if they would do the alterations (we thought it would be easier to have them done where my dress was being altered). Nancy's agreed to do the alterations, but they made it clear that we should have bought the bridesmaid dresses from them. I couldn't get complimentary dress steaming because I went elsewhere for the bridesmaid dresses. They even told me, "Didn't you know we sell the same dresses you bought out-of-state?" My bridesmaid dresses were made by Lynn Lugo and nowhere in Nancy's boutique were any Lynn Lugo sample dresses, nor was Lynn Lugo's name mentioned anywhere on their website. How was I supposed to know they sold that line of dresses if there is nothing on display?! Anyways, the lady at Nancy's wanted to show me the Lynn Lugo catalog to prove to me that they sold that line of dresses. Since I had already bought the dresses, why would I want to see that?? Anyways, they did a very poor job on the bridesmaid alterations and charged a TON for crappy work ~ one of my bridesmaids actually had to take her dress to another tailor to fix what Nancy's did. There were gaps & holes in the seams and loose threads all over her dress! Nancy's actually charged $75+ for the alterations. The other tailor who fixed their mistakes only charged $12. Fortunately, my bridal gown's alterations were fine, but their flaws overshadow their good points.

I will not recommend Nancy's to anyone. You are better off finding another store who sells the same line of dresses.

Found my dream dress here, was told it would be in 2 months before my wedding. I asked to rush my order, which was available for $50, but they told me they would not let me because they were sure it would be here in time. My dress was not there until 2 weeks before my wedding, which made alterations extremely difficult. They only had limited time slots left by that point - and every time my alterations were wrong. My last alteration was two days before my wedding and my dress that was originally too big 3 alterations ago was now too small.

We also bought our tux rentals here (before all the dress troubles), which also did not come in until two days before the wedding. Communication was terrible. They never called us with updates, when we called no one knew anything. They tried telling us only one person had paid for their tux, which we knew was incorrect. When we called to ask them which person had paid the girl literally said "I don't know. I'm new. You'll have to call back tomorrow." Come to find out, everyone had paid for their tuxes already.

They were so unprofessional, making our experience full of stress.

Nancy's Bridal was one of the worst experiences I had with all my vendors. Every time I went into the store to try on my dress, it took about 10 minutes to even locate my dress. Then, they had a tough time putting me into a fitting room, because they always overbook their appointments. I even had an associate walk in on me in the middle of putting on my dress because she didn't realize I was in there (which was quite embarassing when the entire fitting area can see you half clothed). They tried to convince me that I needed a dress two sizes too large, and when I refused, they told me that my dress would not fit. Well, it did fit - perfectly. I also did not like that you must pay for alterations in cash only, which seems a little unprofessional to me. Overall, I loved my dress, but I would not recommend Nancy's for any type of service whatsoever.

Disorganized and Rude Staff

With my bridesmaids all over the country and one international I quickly found my best bet would be to choose the designer, fabric, color, and length and send my ladies to stores with those in place! Nancy's was most convenient for one of my local bridesmaids and her daughter who is one of my attendants/junior maids. It was great being able to join them on a Friday afternoon and have them be my life size Barbie's for a couple hours.

Nancy's has a nice variety of dresses but would benefit from more organization. Designers were mixed about with not much sense to the order. Many other salons have at least grouped designers to make the process smooth when a certain designer has been solidified. There were only two ladies working that could help and it was definitely not as special of an experience as I would've liked. They did offer assistance as we finalized selections, but were completely on our own during the trying on and even had to put dresses back ourselves. It felt like we were not worth their time since we already had my bridal gown and it was only two dresses for their sales.

This was the third store i have gone with one of my bridesmaids in the past two months and I would say this trip was the most chaotic and the same designer and styles seemed to be a little higher priced than what I had been finding elsewhere. We were able to get the process outlined and file created for order placement after both mom and daughter were sized, but had to repeat ourselves at least three times that we wanted HER called when dresses arrived and they still screwed it up when the time came. Trying to get a hold of them when the quoted date approached was hit and miss and my bridesmaid was completely exasperated by the time her dress and her daughter's arrived. I wish we had taken more time to check reviews BEFORE we ever went to Nancy's. I would recommend many other local salons when seeking wedding gowns.

After visiting a few other local bridal shops, I unfortunately found my perfect dress at Nancy's. From the get go, Nancy seemed uninterested in helping me for my scheduled appointment. She would disappear for chunks of time after putting me in a dress. After I ordered my dress and came for my first fitting, the dress was huge and had to be taken in in the bust, waist, and hips. When I changed my mind the week after my fitting and called to ask them to hold off on a change to the back of the dress, I was told it was no problem. When I arrived for the next fitting, however, the alteration had been done (and poorly) and with no apology or offer to reverse the change or not charge for the work that I was told wouldn't be done. The botched lace was fixed in the end, but my concerns were dismissed and I was told "don't worry about it, it will be beautiful" although they had already screwed it up once. Save yourself the stress and find your dress at one of the other local shops that values your business and treats you respectfully.

It was a waste of our time

We scheduled an appointment weeks ahead of time and traveled for 2.5 hours. Some family members traveled for 5 hours. We were greeted at the door but the consultant was horrible, rude, disinterested. After four dresses she stated that there was nothing left in the store to try on and that was the end of that.
