From the moment I reached out to Naastad Acres, I knew that their venue was going to be something special. I had gone to the farm for my tour with Jo, and let me tell ya, that lady is probably the sweetest person I’ve ever met! She alone was a huge reason why we chose the venue aside from its gorgeous landscaping and buildings. I couldn’t recommend them enough! If you’re looking for a personable venue, this is definitely one you should look into!Naastad Acres's reply:

Above and Beyond in Every Way
Jo and John went above and beyond for our wedding, extending their season so my father-in-law could attend while in good health. When an unexpected snowstorm hit the day before, Jo seamlessly adjusted plans with our vendors to keep us warm and stress-free. My father-in-law passed away two weeks later, making the memories made that day priceless. Jo and John’s kindness allowed us to focus on what truly mattered. My husband and I got married August 31, 2024 and we chose Naastad Acres to be our venue. It was absolutely beautiful there and we couldn't have asked for a better day. The best perk was that we didn't have to do much decorating because it was already so pretty but they also have some decor there that you can borrow if you'd like. We had our rehearsal/rehearsal dinner out there the previous day and it was such a great time. We loved how everything was spread out enough for people to move around however they pleased. We loved the activities for guests to use and our personal favorite was the use of the fire pit at the end of the night. The on site guest rooms and "hen house" was the cherry on top so that our family and wedding party could stay close was a definite plus. Jo and John were so amazing to work with and they made us feel like family. The bar staff was amazing as well! We highly recommend it for anyone looking for their perfect venue! -

Naastad Acres
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue! We had an outdoor wedding at the beginning of June, and everything was absolutely beautiful. The gorgeous red barn and stunning property made the perfect backdrop for our day.
The owners are truly amazing—so helpful, organized, and easy to work with. They made the entire experience feel smooth and stress-free, which meant so much on such an important day.
Even 7 years later, we have such great memories of our wedding at Naastad Acres. It’s a beautiful venue with wonderful people behind it, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect place to get married! ❤️Naastad Acres's reply:

One day away from celebrating our 1-year anniversary, and I can’t help but reflect on just how special our wedding day was. 🤍
I truly can’t thank the Naastad Acres team enough for the huge part they played in making our day everything we dreamed of and more. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect and that we felt cared for throughout the entire experience.
What makes Naastad Acres even more special is the way they make you feel like family—not only leading up to and on your wedding day, but even long after it’s over. That is something I will forever be grateful for. 🥹🤍

The best wedding experience!
I cannot express how much we love Naastad Acres! Everyone involved with Naastad acres is so professional & warm. You don’t have to worry about a thing! When we toured the property we just kept saying, “they’ve thought of everything!” A lot of venues only give you a few hours ahead of time to decorate & prepare and immediately following the event you have to hurry & clean up. At Naastad Acres, you get the venue for the entire weekend-Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. Plenty of time to set up, decorate & pack up your belongings. That is priceless and eases the stress that comes with planning a wedding. You stay on the property (and your wedding party & family can stay as well) and can actually relax and enjoy the experience without the rush and stress of getting all the details squared away. Naastad’s has it covered! You walk away from your event feeling like a part of a family. It was a wonderful experience and I cannot recommend Naastad Acres enough!Naastad Acres's reply:

The Castillos
Naastad Acres is an absolutely amazing and gorgeous venue! We had such an easy time planning, getting questions answered and help with anything we needed. They also did not let a little rain ruin any of the fun. They were prepared to move the ceremony if needed and when it started to sprinkle during the ceremony they had umbrellas ready! I cannot thank Naastad acres enough for the experience we had there. Jo & John had no obligation to us other than to provide the venue and bar items in addition to bar staff and they went above and beyond. John was behind the scenes all day making sure everything was going well and Jo was right there asking what she could help with, talking through nerves, giving hugs, and just making everything go off without a hitch! And honestly, it didn’t stop at the wedding day. We absolutely loved the venue but the hospitality was unmatched. The entire Naastad Acres team was all so amazing to work with, from the first time we visited we knew it would be just perfect. Jo & John were the best and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend, yes a whole weekend! From check in on Friday to checkout on Sunday and every moment in between, we couldn’t have dreamed of anything better. The whole farmstead is just beautiful, from their house, to the hen house, the bull pen, the elevator, the little red barn, and the entire yard. The most perfect place for the most perfect day!
There truly aren’t enough words to describe how incredible our experience was at Naastad Acres. From the moment we began planning to the very last dance of the night, everything was absolutely beautiful and so thoughtfully put together.
Our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more. The venue itself is breathtaking, but what truly sets Naastad Acres apart is the amazing team behind it. They didn’t just feel like vendors helping to coordinate an event, they felt like family. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel completely supported every step of the way.
They created an atmosphere that was the perfect balance of an unforgettable celebration and an intimate, meaningful gathering with the people we love most. Everything flowed so effortlessly that we were able to be fully present and soak in every moment without worrying about the details.
One of the most valuable features for us was the on-site housing. Having family members stay right at the venue relieved so much of the stress that comes with coordinating travel and accommodations on such an important day. It allowed us to spend more time together and made the entire weekend feel even more special.
Looking back, I can honestly say that choosing Naastad Acres was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. We are beyond grateful for the memories created there and for the incredible people who made them possible. While my husband and I were just talking about getting married, we decided to take a side trip to Naastad Acres to check it out. As soon as we walked onto the property, we knew. This was going to be the place we would say "I do." From the initial visit through the morning after our wedding, everyone at Naastad was an absolute joy to work with. Jo, John, Jodi, Kathy, Braydon, and everyone else who helped make our wedding weekend special were simply amazing. You have the venue for the whole weekend, including additional lodging onsite if you choose. My husband and I were married at Naastad Acres in 2022 and I can’t say enough good things about our experience there. When Jo talks about their “Naastad Acres family” she means family. From the second you arrive to the farm you are treated like family. Everything runs so smoothly out there. If there was an issue it would be fixed before you probably even knew about it. It rained shortly before our ceremony and John was out there drying off all the chairs for our guests. They do everything they can to ensure your special day goes just the way you had planned. The property is meticulously maintained and always beautiful. We attended a wedding last summer out there and I was pregnant with our first child, Jo gifted us custom Naastad Acres onesies and a bib, the gesture just shows that they truly think of all of their couples as an extension of their own family. This venue was AMAZING! The owner was incredibly nice and staff was helpful. Every detail was thought of so that you have an amazing weekend. We got SOOOO many compliments on the location and everybody had a great time. My only caveat is that you cannot have your own water pitchers and glasses on the tables. Naastad Acres made everything perfection for our wedding day/weekend. Not only was the venue amazing but Jo is an angel. She treated us like family the minute we arrived and that is something so special! Jo really goes above and beyond and her team is just as amazing! Best of the Best
Our daughter was married there in June of 2019 and it was the most magical day for her and her new husband as well as our families.
Jo and John make you feel like family the moment you step on their property. Jo was helpful and answered all our questions promptly. Her husband John is the kindest man and their partnership in running Naastad is top notch. They work so well together and then as families the just made a breeze. From set up to take down the whole experience is wonderful. And it doesn’t stop there! Our daughter even went back one weekend and helped Jo as a bartender! Jo was one of the first people they chose to tell when they were expecting and talk about excited for the kids.
With Jo and John at Naastad Acres you just aren’t another wedding. You are part of their family and they celebrate each milestone.
