Excellent photography

I normally don't leave feedback. I was so impressed with Charlie our wedding photographer from MyPic. He politely took charge of our crazy day and handled my wedding party of 18 with ease. He was fun to work with and offered great photo ideas. I received several compliments after the wedding from family members. Telling me how impressed, friendly and professional he was. Mypic offers great prices and outstanding photo service.

MyPic wedding is highly recommended. Our wedding was in Detroit. Charlie was our main photographer. He was AMAZING, fun, and creative. TJ the second photographer was a great compliment and also captured great photos. MyPic is recommended.

Attention to details

We had a great time planning the wedding and needed someone to capture all of the special moments:). Scott took some photos that we never thought of doing, and they are now our favorite shots!

A DREAM photography studio!

My pic photography was one of the best decisions we made.

We met Scott originally at the bridal show at kings court castle in Canterbury village. He was very personable and polite and it was perfect that his studio was on site! After the meeting and seeing his teams work- we booked him right there.

MyPic is very affordable and you get so many fun extras! We ended up getting an engagement session a few weeks after our first meeting which was awesome because we got a change to get to know the photographers that we would be working with on the big day! Tyler and Misty we’re able to get to know us and the photos we were looking for early on and make our pictures an absolute dream.

Tyler and Misty are very talented, professional, and truly go the extra mile. After (and during!) our engagement shoot, they got to know us and our interests and I believe you can see that in the final photos. There is not one picture that doesn’t tell our story and who we are as a couple. We were in constant communication and they found out our love for the Disney movie tangled, and brought their own frying pan to re-enact a famous scene from the movie. You will NOT find another photography studio that cares as much as mypic.

Scott takes pride in his business. If something was not quite right (there was an issue with the disk that we got) he would take care of it immediately. Although he had another wedding that night and wasn’t one of our photographers, he still came to our wedding offering congratulations and to make sure that everything went exactly how we wanted it. It was also super convenient to get to pay AFTER the wedding! The two weeks before the wedding were so busy with final fittings and final touches, this was truly a gift!

Thank you Scott, Tyler, and Misty for a fairytale experience. It was absolutely perfect and I would recommend them to everyone!!

Phenomenal service!

Tyler and Misty were PHENOMENAL! I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about them. All of our guests noticed how often they were in the mix getting every photo, their attention to detail was bar none. They are so creative and kind, just great people to be around in general! They really helped make both of us feel special. Pricing was great, even if we never took advantage of the free included engagement shoot. Our guests loved the photobooth, too!!

10000% would recommend this duo. Two days after the wedding we recieved ~20 "sneak peek" photos and they blew me away! I cannot wait to see the rest!!

Charlie and Scott were creative, outstanding, excited and made our day fun. Charlie was my photographer and Scott was with the guys. The combination and creative shooting style was perfect. Scott contacted me through David's Bridal and invited my husband and I to meet with him. MyPic has the best pricing we had seen! We even got a photo booth for our wedding which was a huge hit. The day of my wedding we had two photographers, they were great with working with our wedding party and taking the photos we wanted.

Our first meeting with Scott was great. I wanted to make sure we used as many local vendors as possible since we were from out of town. We started our adventure with beautiful engagement pictures which at first we thought we only wanted to snap a few to make a save the date but realized quickly on the wedding day how much it helped our day flow.

Scott, Charlie and Ty were all AWESOME! As an event planner by trader going into the day I was nervous I'd be stressed and constantly looking over my checklist. I appreciated their assertiveness and direction most of all. I told them early in the day that we were open to any of their suggestions for poses or on site locations to take pictures.

We haven't gotten our pictures just yet (it was only a couple days ago!) but I'm sure they're going to be amazing. Definitely recommend! They even made sure that all my shots on my list were taken care of so I didn't have too!

Do not hesitate to go with My Pic photography! My husband and I got married 10/15/16 and we had our DVD slideshow of our wedding just 4 weeks later! All of our pictures turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier! Scott is a pleasure to work with and does such a great job! We are so thrilled that we have incredible pictures that we will have for a lifetime :)

NOT sure what angry juice Mary wedding is drinking? I felt sorry for Mypic, Charlie and his team after reading a recent review. Scott and Charlie from Mypic is OUTSTANDING! Clearly this women has an axe to grind and is unhappy in life. Charlie is AMAZING, FRIENDLY, FUN, KIND AND POLITE.

My wedding; Mypic Photography lead by Charlie did an amazing job! He was easy to work with, fun and had lots of great suggestions, which made for AMAZING PHOTOS. YES! I would RECOMMEND MyPic Charlie and his team.

The owner is great. Charlie the main photographer was wonderful. He made sure that any picture I asked for he did. His assistant TJ was great too. He was very helpful with the photo booth and made sure he got good pictures of the guys getting ready. Awesome photographer for my wedding.

Scott and his team did an amazing job! My husband and I love our photos and have gotten many compliments on them. They were awesome to work with. We told them before hand what pictures we wanted taken so the day off that was one less thing we had to worry about. We got an amazing package and got everything we wanted and more! Charlie and Mypic wedding Photography in lake Orion is amazing! We were so impressed with the quality of photos from our wedding. Not only were the pictures great, but he took a wide variety of photos from everyone who attended, to the venue to the food. He captured every moment of our day and did so with ease and flexibility; most of the time we forgot He was there. High recommend Charlie and Mypic photogrpahy.

Best photographer ever! hands down! Had Scott and dewight for our wedding. My grandparents, mother, all loved them! and were so very impressed with how all of our pictures turned out and so were all of our guests. He made it possible for us to remember our special day with loved ones in the best way! My Pic Photography was an amazing choice for my wedding photography!!! I can not say enough good things about the service they provided or the photographers. I had Scott and Dwight for my photographers and they were well loved by everyone. I have never seen my now husband so comfortable in front of a camera. They kept us laughing all day. We had a blast with them!!! They were also so organized throughout the whole process. When we met, Scott was so infomative and easy to reach with questions. He took his time and answered all of my questions. I met with other photographers and they did not even compare to the same level of personal service as My Pic. On the day of the wedding both Scott and Dwight were exactly where they needed to be and helped organize the events so everything ran smooth. Then the best part of my whole experience was the pictures. I am still amazed at all they were able to capture. The effects they used to edit my pictures made them look like art. I have the entire night documented in the most amazing pictures. This company did an outstanding job for my wedding and I think all brides would be lucky to have them at their wedding.

I heard about Scott from a co-worker. When we met him in person, we were immediately put at ease. He delivered everything he promised and did an excellent job preserving memories of our wedding. He is very professional and easy going...not minding that we had family and friends taking pictures right along side him after the service. (I have some excellent pictures of Scott taking our pictures, thanks to family, which really bring a smile to my face as I remember all that was going on that day.)
Scott's rates are very reasonable, making it possible for us to use him again and again. My husband and I are expecting a child a few weeks shy of our first anniversary. We've already been back for a "baby bump" photo shoot and look forward to having our son's first professional photographs done by Scott after he's born.

We could not have asked for anything more from Scott. He is professional and excels at his craft but he is not obtrusive...we hardly knew he was there. But when we saw the pictures, some of the candid shots were incredible. We said, "How did he do that?".

I would recommend MyPicPhotography to anyone for any occasion. Scott has a way of bringing out the very best in his subjects.

Scott is a family man so he knows what your family and the beauty he can capture in them will mean to you. He is worth your while.

My pic photography takes creativity to a whole new level. They met all my expectations plus some. I been to a few weddings in my day but my pic blows all the rest out of water. They give you a family feel and you can tell they actually care about you and that you are not just there client. They did everything with wanted plus some. We couldn't be happier with the way the photography went it made our day perfect. I like the different packages they have too which makes if affordable and you get top of line photography.

I am the mother of the bride and Scott the photographer was very creative, professional and patient. He truly captured the important hightlighted moments of the whole wedding. My daughter chose a fall wedding because of the colors and Scott defineately incorporated the colors with his ingenius ideas of the outdoor settings. You can't go wrong with MyPic Photography. Scott is a true professional....great customer service and communication. Scott is organized and thorough. I got all the information about pricing, albums,and expectations up front. Our initial meeting with Scott left us feeling completely comfortable. Our wedding pictures were AMAZING!! Mypic photography team Charlie and TJ are the best. Both LOVE their job. Charlie was so easy, FUN to work with. TJ was a great fit working the photo booth. We love our wedding photos and HIGHLY recommend Mypic wedding studio, located in Lake Orion.

My fiance and I hired MyPics to photograph our anniversary party and we couldn't have been happier with the results! Scott presented himself very professionaly - he was punctual to the event and worked quietly and non-distractingly (is that a word?) as he worked around the festivities. Most importantly, our pictures were simply amazing! He really captured the celebration of the day. Our expections, in terms of both quanity and quality, were surpassed. MyPic Photography was the best investment my husband and I could've made for our wedding!! During the process, Scott was very accommodating in explaining his photography style to myself as well as my husband and my parents. On our big day, Scott and Charlie were very professional, funny, and patient with us. As a result, we have so many amazing photos that I can't pick which ones to display as I'd like to show them all off! Value, flexibility, and great service is the key makeup of Mypic wedding Photography. Charlie (owner) and TJ make a great team. Charlie was our lead photographer. He was easy to work with, listened to every comments and suggestion from my family. Our wedding photos are amazing. Friends and family LOVE our wedding book and photos. Charlie was very creative, passionate and loves his job.

Scott was great to work with, he brought along another photographer and they worked great together. We had a photo booth for a few hours which was fun for our guests, they got some great shots and weren't needy-they let us enjoy our day. We've been in contact since our wedding and they respond quickly. I highly recommend them!

I am so pleased with my pictures and the whole experience I had with Scott at MyPic photography. He was able to get all the photos I wanted and even ones I didn't know I wanted but I'm so glad I have now.

I have recommended him to my friends that are engaged. They will not be disappointed and neither will you.

Scott and Tyler were great. Other than a miscommunication regarding times for getting ready pictures everything went smoothly and they were well worth the money.

Overall I am pleased with the MyPic Photography and Scott was good to work with. My Pic Photography was within my budget and the fact that they had two photographers was a plus for us. I feel like they did a great job of capturing our wedding. They were professional and seemed to enjoy what they were doing at the same time.

I rated them a 3 in quality and value, because when we received our prints they were not the best. The pictures seemed dull and my head was cut off in one of them. It was clear that they did not review them before sending and also went with a cheap print job. I called Scott and explained my disappointment. He was very short with me. However, he did have them reprinted and they were much better which I appreciated. In addition, when I had them printed, I noticed that I was not able to print a lot of them in an 8x10 or larger because it made them blurry. This is upsetting considering the amount of money we spent.

I rated them a 3 in responsiveness and professionalism. Overall Scott was easy to communicate with and always quick to respond. The reason I only gave them a 3 is because they were about 20 minutes late to the wedding. This is HUGE. They did not take any pictures of us getting ready. This is disappointing and they acted as if they weren't late and with no apologies. In addition, I had ordered them sandwiches for dinner, along with the other vendors. The reason for this is because I thought it would be easier for them to eat sandwiches and I thought they would be grateful that we were providing them dinner. They told the waitress that they do not do sandwiches and refused to eat them. This is something that I should not have had to think about on my wedding day. Just silly.

Thank you for the review Danielle. I am working continuously to make sure MyPic Photography gives the best service possible. There are a few items in this review that I did look into and wanted to clarify. I took the morning looking into the metadata of the first pictures taken. This data allows me to see the exact time the image was taken. The first image for this wedding was taken at 2:21 pm. The established start time was 2 pm. Upon arrival at the church before taking this picture I set up professional lighting in the front of the church and posed all of the bridesmaids and bride on stage for their first picture. I can guarantee that was not all accomplished in 1 minute. All of the girls were dressed and ready and told me that they had decided to get dressed earlier. There are many pre-wedding pictures that came out amazing, they were not of them getting ready because they chose to get ready before the set time. Then next issue is the silliness of the sandwiches. My partner and I are both very healthy eaters. Neither of us eat processed meat (lunch meat) in our daily diets. When the sandwiches were served to us we simply declined them. We only had 45 minutes left of our package time and figured we would feed ourselves when we were done. There was no reason to bother the bride with this, we just declined the food and went on with our job.

The picture quality of this wedding was outstanding!!! One of the best of the summer. Danielle I hope these images bring you joy for many years to come. God Bless You and Your Family.

MyPic was My Nightmare

We unfortunately had a very poor experience with Scott. I encourage all Brides to consider other vendors. Despite his references and alleged awards, MyPic was unprofessional and unsatisfactory every step of the way.

Our first meeting went fine, but once he had our money service dropped off. We showed up for our engagement shoot to find his office closed and locked. It took multiple tries to get Scott on the phone, and when we did he blamed us, saying we weren’t on his schedule. He finally conceded that he had two scheduling programs and we were only on the one in his office, not his phone. We then had to wait outside, in the heat, while he drove over. He then took us through very boring, cookie cutter photos. Thankfully the shoot was free because we didn’t like any of the photos. When we asked to downgrade our package (not wanting to pay $3000 and risk more bad photos) he was very unpleasant and uncooperative.

The day of the wedding I had to spend extra time making lists of family photos we wanted, and guiding him as to what we wanted photos of. He then continued to barge into the closed bridal suite, without knocking, and even took photos of me in a state of undress without asking my consent. That photo made it on to our final disc and I had to remove it before sending the photos to family. It took over a month to get the proofs of our photos, and of the 600 random shots we received, maybe 20 were worth the trouble.

To top it all off, after waiting more than three months for our wedding video, Scott mailed it to the wrong city. When I asked him why the DVD hadn’t arrived, he took a very rude tone and sent me the tracking number for the DVDs, stating they had been delivered, and I was wrong. It was then I realized Scott sent the DVDs to Troy, even though we live in Rochester. I knew he had the correct address because we received our wedding photos. When I pointed the error out to Scott he again got defensive. When I asked for another copy of our $1500 wedding video, which we had been waiting on for three months, he said he didn’t have it. When I reminded him how much we paid for the video, and asked for another copy, he refused to respond to my emails. This went on for a week until the DVDs showed up in the mail.

The wedding video was shaky, cheesy, didn’t include many of the things we hoped it would, and to top it all off, Scott was all over the video. He can be seen stepping into the frame as I’m walking down the aisle, climbing onto the alter during our vows, and he’s standing between us and our Pastor when we share our first kiss.

Worst experience I have ever had. Our photographer, Charlie, was extremely short and not cordial at all. All of the wedding party commented on his rudeness. Whatever, he's there to do a job, not be our friend. I never received notification that our pictures were available online, even though I had called the week prior. When I realized that the photos were online, I found it odd that there was no password. I was disappointed in the quality of the pictures taken, and even more disappointed in the lack of professionalism when I expressed my disappointment to Scott, the owner. He was extremely unprofessional, never expressed any sort of apology for the poor quality of photos, only arguments as to why the pictures were good. The photos of our toast all have my husbands head cut off, and the one that doesn't has the focus on the champagne flutes, which are cut off. His response was "It's called artistic". Our disk arrived in a cracked case with scratches on it, due to being shipped in a plain envelope, with my husbands name spelled incorrectly. When I called Scott the day after our unusable disk arrived, I still did not receive any sort of apology, just a statement of "I send disks all the time and that never happens". He told me that I was difficult and I have great photos. Every one of the pictures taken at our ceremony has the sun in someone's eyes and is unsuitable for hanging on the wall. This is on top of all of the missed shots. Also, there is the false advertisement. The website clearly states that, other than your deposit, nothing is due until two weeks after your wedding. This is a lie, as the photo booth payment was due by the day before the wedding. Also, the card that came in the mail with our disk clearly says online proofing is for 60 days, when our gallery expires less than sixty days after our wedding date. Did Scott do anything to rectify the situation? He sent new disks with full resolution photos and a code for some free prints. He was more concerned

They were so happy with him they told him to make sure he found them for a tip. She then goes on to say she booked our services based upon reviews. That's right, almost all 5 stars. I guess you can't please everyone. In fact I was expecting this review from her from the start. We are a professional wedding photography company with over 10 years experience. Do you really think there are no printable images? I worked with complete professionalism and sincere concern to help please her. On top of the free high resolution disk I gave, which actually costs $250, I also offered her $100 of free prints and I had my best editor work 4 hours overtime to create some pictures she thought should have been included. Another issue they had was they felt they should not had to pay for their photo booth before the wedding due to our "Pay After the Wedding" offer for wedding photography. I make it very clear to all clients during the consoltation that the offer for pay after your wedding only applies to the photography. My company is a family built, honest christian company and we pride ourselves in customer service and doing the right thing for our clients. The customer who wrote this review has lied and exaggerated other things. Charlie is one of our best photographers and every other review proves that. we hired this guy based on the reviews. Please do not make the same mistake. Tons of shots were missed, the photographer was rude. The pictures are horrible!! Out of 1000 pics I can't find 1 that is good enough to print. Eyes are closed, sun is in eyes, posing is horrible. Not 1 close up, heads cut off, no pic with my parents, no pic with my child......and the list goes on! I can't find 1 good thing to say about them. When I complained I was told I should be very happy with my pictures. What? Are you looking at the same poor quality pictures that we are? Also, anything over an 8x10 you're forced to order off of their website due to the pixels(?). I'm having a hard time even looking at these poor quality pictures and they ruined the memories of my wedding day. Please, spend your $ elsewhere!!! I wish I could give 0 stars to this jerk

Let's see where to begin? Eventhough there are so many positive feedbacks, I did not have a good experience for my wedding. Wedding was mid-senior picture time, however I booked him 7 months prior to my wedding date. I asked him to meet my party and I somewhere other than the chapel to take pictures of something special,"It's not in the contract but I'll write it down." Then he calls and "forgets" a few days before the wedding. I was also told with attitude like I was bothering him,"You do not need to contact me again. I will contact you a few days prior to the wedding." Excuse me?! MY WEDDING my SPECIAL DAY?! I'm paying you! I will call you whenever I wish. I was charged over the price that was agreed upon and when I brought it to his attention he "forgot about the special". The package I paid for came with much more than just a CD. I only recieved a CD, no prints, nothing. The pictures were mediocre and I'm actually having the pictures re-done, filtered, etc., because I was NOT impressed. I paid within the two weeks after my wedding and STILL had to wait another two weeks to get the "finished" project. Many images on the CD that were not on the online proofing. I feel my pictures were rushed due to senior pictures, him being the only employee and photographer with way too much on his plate. Not a happy customer.

There are many doubts in my mind about whether or not this is an actual client. I do not recall this experience at all. First of all I want to say there has been no complaints to MyPic Photography about any weddings in the past two years. I would love to make things right with this bride and groom, yet I am unable to recall this experience at all. I am suspicious that this is a competitor trying to make my business look bad. Please note that I am the first to make sure every wedding is SPECIAL for the bride and groom. Never have I had any problem shooting at an additional location, I actually recommend it so there are a variety of pictures to choose from. I am also not by any means the only employee at MyPic. I have an entire team of photographers that shoot with me and shoot their own weddings. I also have a full time editing team that works for my office. At no time during senior season am I rushing to get weddings complete. Also just to make sure this is clear, the payment is due two weeks after the event to make payment convenient for the couples I work for. The product does take up to a month due to the fact that I want it to look perfect for my couples. I am a hard worker and put my heart and soul into each and every wedding. It is hurtful that someone wrote this review and did not even have the courtesy to talk to me like the professional that I am.
