My wife and I fell in love with MyMoon the second we walked into our tour. We immediately had a sense of trust in Lee and the rest of the team that did not waver once during the rest of our planning process. Lee was always quick to answer our multitude of questions and greeted us with a smile during every one of our many visits to the restaurant. Management was always happy to work with us when we had questions or concerns, we knew our wedding was in great hands, and we ended up having the day of our dreams!
Throughout our year and a half of planning, MyMoon remained one of our favorite choices that we made. We were consistently excited about it and never questioned our decision. We received so many compliments from our guests that the day went so smoothly, the space was beautiful, and the food was delicious. It was everything we wanted and more, and we really cannot thank Lee and the MyMoon team enough! -

My wife and I held our wedding at Mymoon in March of 2023; pardon the overused expression, but it was magical. Lee is incredibly nice and was very thorough throughout the process. He explained everything in great detail and never got tired of answering our questions. Our vendors seemed to have zero issues working with the MyMoon team, too. We even had one of our croquembouches fall apart (made by a third party) before the wedding started, and the MyMoon team was quick to serve the pieces separately on plates, even though it wasn't their problem to solve.
The space is cozy, inviting, and warm. The food is delicious. The bar is great. You get a ceremony space and a separate reception area, plus a whole outside area if people want to use it. Everything is priced reasonably as well. If I could do my wedding all over, I'd choose MyMoon again. -

We really cannot speak highly enough about our experience at MyMoon. The staff was courteous and mindful every step of the way, and the Events Director, Lee, has such wisdom that helped ease our worries when things got stressful. The wedding went off without a hitch, and almost a year later, we still get compliments about the venue and the especially the FOOD! Everyone went above and beyond to make our day special, and we can't wait to be back to share other special moments here. -

We got married at MyMoon in April and it was absolutely perfect. We looked at a ton of different venues in Brooklyn and are so grateful that we landed on MyMoon. Lee goes above and beyond right from the start and is one of the kindest most genuine people we have ever met. The food is the BEST and we had our families and friends raving about it. It's a beautiful space so very little decor is needed which was a huge bonus for us. Don't hesitate to book this place - you'll have the best wedding there! -

We got married at MyMoon on May 3, 2024, and truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue.
Tucked away just off the streets of Williamsburg, it’s a hidden gem with so much character. From my very first tour with Lee, I knew this was the place I wanted to get married—and it didn’t take much convincing for my husband, who loved it just as much. The space is so naturally beautiful that it needs minimal decoration, letting you focus on what really matters. The food and drinks? Incredible.
Now, onto Lee—he’s the best. Not only did he flawlessly execute every detail, but he also brought the calm, grounded energy every couple hopes for on their wedding day. He’s organized, thoughtful, and even gave me the best advice on my veil length (which turned out perfectly!). -

Lee and the team at MyMoon made everything about our wedding as perfect as it could be. It's clear that hosting weddings is their bread and butter as they had every detail down pat and left nothing to chance. All our guests raved about the food (we opted for the family style instead of individual entrees). Pricing was super reasonable especially considering the area is so expensive. I'd reccomend MyMoon to anyone looking to have their wedding or similar type party in Brooklyn! -

Everything We Wanted
My husband and I just got married at MyMoon in late October, and MyMoon ended up being an absolutely perfect venue for us. For some basic information, we held both ceremony and reception at MyMoon for about 100 people.
After first inquiring about MyMoon, we arranged for a visit with Lee. First off, it's a gorgeous spot in Williamsburg. It was an old sewing factory, so it's a historic building with the moody romantic industrial vibe that requires very little extra decor (which saves money). You first enter into the garden which has a deck where we had our ceremony (it has a retractable roof for bad weather, fans for the heat, and the roof can also help with lighting conditions for your photographer (shout out here to Warm Up Lab - https://www.warmup-lab.com/ - for being the absolute best photographers)). Lee took us all around the venue, explained the breakdown of packages and gave us a packet to take home and look over as we started to build out the wedding plan. We highly recommend doing dinner after you tour the place with Lee - the food is absolutely delicious and it gives you time to sit in the space and really think about things you may want to do.
Over the year+ that we worked with Lee, he was always patient with answering our questions and quick to get back to us. A note here that at the time of our wedding in October 2024, the ceremony is an additional fee add-on and there are a couple of reception base packages which are 3 hours long. Adding a cocktail hour and an extra hour of dancing is $3k/hour minimum. Your spend for the cocktail hour on food and beverage goes towards that minimum, and the same is true for the last hour (opt for the late night bites - even if you think it's already going to be so much food as we thought, we had a lot of guests that were ready to pounce on them when they were brought out).
Lee was really accommodating of how we personalized the day, including a very large installation of 2,000 cookies for a cookie table, and the entire staff was professional and helpful. He gave us a great advice throughout the process from limiting decor on the tables to accommodate the platters of our family-style service to how many tables to clear for making the dance floor. He also made sure to reach out to my husband the following day when we thought he may have lost his keys at the venue, just to make sure we'd found them and everything was all squared away.
MyMoon really is a bit of a hidden gem and it's a great option for couples trying to find a way to afford a Brooklyn wedding for a larger guest count. Because it's a gorgeous and historic spot, you save on decor. Because it has an outdoor garden, you can have a ceremony on site. And because it's a restaurant, you're not paying for a venue that you then need to contract a caterer for and have all the additional fees for linens and tableware and the like. It's a great place to get an industrial vibe in Brooklyn without opting for a blank-slate venue where you need to work with a rental company to bring everything in.
All in all, it ended up being truly perfect for us and we didn't run into one issue day of which meant we really got to just enjoy our wedding and take it in. We're really thankful to Lee and MyMoon for everything. -

I really cannot speak highly enough about our experience at MyMoon. When we finally found it, we had been on the hunt for wedding venues for weeks. It really is the goldilocks choice for mid-size weddings. It very comfortably hosted our 130 person cocktail-style wedding at a much more reasonable price than the alternatives in the area.
The reason it all works so well is because of MyMoon's Director of Weddings, Lee Chappell. A consummate professional, Lee was extremely responsive to all our requests and questions throughout the nearly year-long process of planning our wedding. He anticipated our needs before we even realized we had them. He has excellent relationships with local vendors, most of whom we hired based off their connection to MyMoon.
We were thrilled the with outcome. The rest of the staff is just as excellent.
The venue itself is gorgeous, especially on the crisp fall day in October when we got married. The food is delicious, the lighting dramatic, the sound system is great.

Our wedding was truly perfect in every way, exceeding all our expectations. The team at MyMoon went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. Lee, the owner, was an absolute joy to work with—so warm and personable that from our very first meeting, we knew we were in good hands.
The staff at MyMoon were exceptional, and totally knowledgeable about the menu -- to the point of immediately knowing which items are gluten-free and which aren't. Our guest list was split between American and Chinese guests, with wildly different taste palates, and MyMoon worked closely with us to design a menu that catered to everyone, including our gluten-free guests. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, far surpassing our expectations. Several guests have already told us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had, and we noticed that everyone’s plates were clean by the end of the night. One guest even mentioned how thrilled he was that he "ordered his steak medium-rare and it actually came medium-rare. They never do that."
The venue itself is simply *cool*. If you're looking for a wedding with that "Williamsburg" vibe, MyMoon is the place. The space blends perfectly with the neighborhood. We were lucky enough to have great weather, which meant we could fully enjoy the lush outdoor garden, greenhouse, and the indoor restaurant. Our guests absolutely loved the atmosphere. With our relatively intimate group of 75, the layout felt just right—neither too crowded nor too sparse. But the space can easily accommodate more with different table arrangements.
A special shout-out to Sam Turner from BPM Events, who was our DJ. He was perfectly set up for the space, and his music choices and sound quality at MyMoon were fantastic. And a special shout-out to Peter Boruchowitz, our officiant, who led the best ceremony imaginable. We had the ceremony in the greenhouse, which was incredibly beautiful. And an FYI, it can be heated/cooled, and the roof can be open/closed. We were relieved before the wedding knowing that we could use the greenhouse without having to worry about the weather.
If we could do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a single thing—from working with Lee, to the incredible food, to the attentive staff, to the stunning decor. MyMoon is, without a doubt, the perfect place to celebrate your wedding. -

We got so many compliments on the venue and food— people said the space was beautiful and that the food was excellent (and not just by wedding standards). Lee, the venue coordinator, is a true professional who made sure things went off without a hitch. We opted to have our ceremony onsite, and it was a seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour. During the reception, Lee made sure everything ran smoothly and on schedule. I felt like I could relax and enjoy my day without worrying about all the little details. -

Our March wedding at MyMoon was an absolute dream come true. Lee and the entire team went above and beyond to make our day perfect, and we feel so lucky to have found this exceptional venue. Not only did guests love the restaurant and ceremony space, but many remarked on how delicious the food was (including a guest who recently won Chopped on the Food Network) and how attentive and professional the staff was. From our very first tour, we could tell that we were in great hands with Lee, and boy were we right. Lee is the best of the best, and we cannot sing his praises enough. Lee made planning our wedding a joy, and we could trust that we were in the best hands.
For reference, we had 115 guests and we all fit comfortably on the patio for our ceremony, in both dining rooms for dinner, and on the dance floor for the reception.
We love MyMoon, and we can't wait to visit again for our anniversary! -

We celebrated our wedding at My Moon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, on October 26th, and it was nothing short of magical. The weather was perfect, allowing us to utilize the entire venue. The stunning deck with a retractable roof accommodated our 70 guests for a beautiful ceremony. The courtyard seamlessly connected the indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a fantastic flow for our guests.
The staff at My Moon were outstanding, exceeding our expectations in every way. A special shout-out to our event coordinator, Lee, who went above and beyond to make our day incredibly special and memorable. The cocktail-style reception without formal seating allowed our guests to mix, mingle, and fully enjoy the venue's charm.
The food was exceptional, and every detail was meticulously handled. We can't express enough gratitude to the venue and its dedicated staff. My Moon comes highly recommended. It truly lived up to our expectations and more! -

We had our wedding at Mymoon this past weekend (Sunday in July). It is the most amazing venue we had the best experience! Lee the venue coordinator is extremely attentive, detail oriented,helpful and responsive. The venue itself is absolutely stunning outdoor and indoor so it does not require bringing in a lot of decor or florals. We had 90 guests and had ample space for everyone to hang out when all inside, all outside, or when dancing. The outdoor deck has a retractable roof so, if there is rain it can be covered within minutes by the touch of a button. The food and drinks were top notch, and were served by a very attentive staff right on time. This venue is just so amazing I would choose it over and over again, can’t wait to go back for dinner on our anniversary! -

We had an absolutely fabulous experience working with MyMoon on our recent wedding weekend! In summary, the space is absolutely beautiful (and super unique), the food is delicious (got tons of compliments from our guests), and the service was excellent (from planning through execution). The details: we chose MyMoon as the venue for our wedding welcome reception and incorporated a small Persian ceremony into the experience. Berna, the owner, chose to personally handle our event and was an absolute delight to work with along the way (and super accommodating with all of our changes, ideas, needs, etc). Prior to the event, we worked closely together to pull together the agenda, plan, and flow and MyMoon hosted me for an INCREDIBLE tasting experience (I literally tried the entire menu - and they sent food home with me for my fiance who could not attend. So sweet!) Leading up to the event, we exchanged many emails with floor plans, event flow, agenda etc and Berna accommodated us every step of the way (and was super responsive / communicative throughout the process). Night of, the team did an absolutely fabulous job with set up (the space looked incredible) and was super flexible with making tweaks as needed (we did a music change first thing, moved wine onto the patio, etc). The flow of the event went super smoothly and we got rave reviews from all of our guests. I would definitely do another event here and highly recommend this venue to others! Our daughter and son-in-law's wedding at Mymoon was simply fantastic! The space itself -- with the historic and cool main room, the garden deck for the ceremony and dessert, the side room, and the gorgeous courtyard -- provided a magical setting for the special day. Food and drink was delicious and plentiful -- many guests said they'll be going back to the restaurant. The staff (especially Lee Chappell) was warm, cooperative, helpful, and professional-- we reaped the benefit of their extensive experience. We could not recommend Mymoon more highly. -

Amazing Wedding Experience!
My husband and I got married at MyMoon, and we had the most incredible day! We visited one venue (MyMoon) and immediately knew that was it! We booked both our ceremony and cocktail style reception to be held here. The space is absolutely stunning; we loved that we could have both an indoor and outdoor space. Because the space is already so beautiful, we did not need to bring in many decorations or florals of our own. The food and drinks are delicious! Lee, MyMoon’s Wedding Coordinator, is the best! He is a true professional who was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. He is cool, calm and collected and excellent with communication- he quickly answered any and all questions I had and offered his knowledge and expertise when needed to help us make decisions. Lee made the entire planning process so easy and offered great vendor recommendations (we used their recommendations to hire our photographer, florist and DJ). Our guests raved about the style, decor and ambiance of MyMoon. On our wedding day, Lee and the rest of the staff was so helpful and ensured that everything ran smoothly. Our special day was so fun and magical. I would highly recommend booking MyMoon for your wedding- from an easy and smooth planning process to a perfect wedding day, you won’t be disappointed. Lee Chappell and the staff at MyMoon are phenomenal. For two years before the pandemic we planned our wedding and we had our share of setbacks. Lee was extremely professional and communicative, and was amenable to our every request. For every decision, he would give clear and detailed explanations for the pros and cons to guide us through the process.
The venue at MyMoon is amazing and beautiful. We were able to seat our 100+ guests comfortably on the beautiful deck for the reception and within the restaurant for the reception. It was a late April wedding and the weather was not too warm and not too cool. For the reception we were able to use the side lounge room for extra seating and it was not inconvenient at all for those guests. The staff shuffled the tables seatings to open up dancing at the end which gave us plenty of space.
The largest hurdle we faced was my wife and I becoming infected with COVID-19 on week before the wedding. We immediately communicated this to Lee and he accommodated all of our requests to make the ceremony and reception socially distanced. We changed the seating and wore masks almost the entire event so our guests would feel safer. All these last-minute changes were handled by the MyMoon staff and MC/DJ wonderfully; they turned what could have been a disaster into a dream wedding experience.
Not just Lee, but all the employees and servers were so lovely and helpful for us. At the end of the night, they helped us past closing time to pack up and load our truck. They were complete professionals.
There is no journey without a few bumps in the road, but we are eternally grateful to MyMoon for guiding us through our obstacles and making our dream wedding a reality. -

Where can I even begin! From the early days of the wedding planning process back in 2017, we already knew that we wanted our wedding to happen at MyMoon, and only MyMoon. It was the only venue that checked all of our boxes: industrial yet elegant; excellent food; a perfect balance of indoor and outdoor space to allow our 80 guests to move through the venue; and of course, located in Brooklyn. Visiting the venue and meeting with Lee only cemented our decision that MyMoon was the venue for us. Our original date was June 19, 2020, just a few weeks after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to change our date not once, but three times, due to the pandemic. All of this could have been a logistical nightmare, but thanks to the excellent organizational skills, compassion, and support of Lee and the MyMoon team (and all of our other fantastic vendors), the rescheduling process was seamless. That alone should tell you the level of professionalism and excellence you can expect from MyMoon. But it gets even better than that. Due to the pandemic, we ended up waiting nearly 5 years to have our big day on May 13, 2022. I was worried I would end up building up the event to unrealistic standards in my head because of the long wait. But I can tell you, MyMoon delivered beyond our wildest dreams. From the second we stepped into the venue, we were floored by how beautifully our vision came to life. Lee took care of arranging the guest book, chest card box, and our wedding favors--aspects of the wedding that I either designed myself or else meant a lot to me personally--and did it stunningly. Many of our vendors had worked with MyMoon before and had only the best things to say about the venue and Lee. It's little surprise then that all of the moving parts of the wedding came together seamlessly. From the ceremony to the first dance to the sparkler send-off at the end, Lee and the MyMoon team kept everything moving smoothly and on schedule. Our guests -- many of whom are quite picky -- were stunned by the beauty of the venue space and are still talking about how much they loved the food and drinks weeks later. The New Zealand lamb rack was especially popular! One of the highlights of the night for the guests was the beautiful GOBO light display our names and wedding date--they're still talking about how much they loved that too. I could go on and on, but above all else, I want to share my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to MyMoon for working with us through our multiple wedding delays and delivering the wedding of our dreams. We cannot recommend MyMoon highly enough for any wedding or event, and we cannot wait to visit again for dinner and re-live the memories of the most special day of our lives. -

If you're looking for a low-key wedding venue, MyMoon is the place to go! We had 70 people at our wedding and it allowed everyone to be spread out and still have a decent sized dance floor. The venue itself has multiple rooms & areas including a patio, terrace, grand hall, and side room. The venue itself looks great on its own and we barely added any further decorations. We had our wedding on a rainy day in April so the patio roof was closed but it worked out extremely well since the patio itself is gorgeous & is heated. The sound systems are great and your DJ/officiant won't have to bring any additional equipment such as mics. MyMoon offers silverware, a caking cutting set, gift boxes, candles, chairs, free menu printing, you name it - they'll probably have it. When we had our wedding, their projector wasn't working for a slideshow, but they are in the process of upgrading this and possibly getting a TV monitor in its place. Food is typically served family style and there is a huge selection of hors d'oeuvres, entrees, desserts, as well as a phenomenal open bar service. Our guests complimented the food & open bar especially. In terms of the staff at MyMoon, Lee is probably the most detail-oriented person you'll ever work with. His coordination & planning is second-to-none. He reached out to us to coordinate when to meet & planned events & cues exactly as requested. Lee was with us on our wedding day coordinating with our vendors & helping with the timeline & cues. The waiters and waitresses are super attentive and were constantly clearing dishes & refilling waters. We would not have done it without the wonderful staff at MyMoon and would not hesitate to recommend this venue to others. -

Lee Chappell is a wonderful host and the staff was great as well. We loved the beautiful eclectic feel of the venue. Indoors and outdoor. The enclosed patio (ceiling that opens and closes) is great if you want to have that outdoor feel in the winter. I highly recommend, great surrounding neighborhood as well. Beautiful hotels nearby. -

Excellent Venue!
We had our wedding Sept. 4th. The venue has a cozy and a warm welcoming feeling as soon as you step in. The staff was super attentive and can’t even describe how good the food was. The venue makes for some beautiful pictures! Our wedding coordinator Lee was super helpful and he made everything a smoother process. -

Most Amazing Brooklyn Venue
My wedding was honestly so amazing and its all thanks to MyMoon and Lee. He was so helpful and accommodating, he took care of everything on the day of our wedding so I was relatively stress free and able to enjoy my wedding. We were originally going to get married in August 2020 but had to postpone to May 2021 as you all know due to Covid. We had to adjust to make sure our wedding was a safe event but honestly I loved that we downsized and had a more intimate experience. The food was amazing, the ambiance was amazing and I would get married all over again at MyMoon. Thank you so much MyMoon and Lee! We know who to book for our vow renewals in the future! -

We got married on September 2, 2021 at this amazing venue and I cannot recommend it enough. We knew, from the moment we stepped foot on the venue property, that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. MyMoon is a beautiful place for a Brooklyn Wedding. The surrounding area offers many locations for wedding photos. We were blessed with perfect weather. We were able to have a ceremony on the deck and cocktail hour in the outdoor garden area which is filled with luscious greenery and felt super cozy. Every aspect of this place is simply beautiful. Food was amazing, service even better but nothing beats the ambiance of the place.
The wedding coordinator, Lee, is amazing and was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. MyMoon offered a list of recommended vendors, 3 of which we ended up working with and loving! On our wedding day, Lee was present, attentive to every detail, and ensured the day moved seamlessly. Our wedding day was PERFECT.

I loved getting married at MyMoon
Getting married at MyMoon was a dream. They say when you've looked at lots of options you just know when you've found the right one -- that's what happened to us. The place itself and the services included are just phenomenal. It is truly gorgeous and has so many inclusive features which was really valuable for us after venue searching for so long. They have beautifully decorated indoor and outdoor event options, a delicious menu, excellent staff and the legendary Lee himself. After an initial dinner out on the deck and meeting with Lee, we felt great about the place and booked immediately. Throughout several emails and in person meetings, Lee walked us through the entire process in detail, always responding quickly and thoughtfully and making time for us when we would randomly pop in with questions. He also helped me coordinate a surprise guitar performance for my husband and was flexible in doing test runs for our wedding slideshow. The staff is always friendly and consistent every time we've been there. Extra bonus is that they had lots of extra decoration items available to us which was just awesome. This is a venue where you can trust that you will be fully taken care of, as the members of their team are all seasoned professionals in the wedding business -- it seriously runs like a well oiled machine. One thing I also found reassuring was that they take Covid protocols seriously -- Lee explained to me early on the strict compliance they follow with regard to the most current regulations. This was one less thing for me to stress about while getting married during such an uncertain time. On the day of the wedding, everything went so smoothly and they provided little touches that all went into the magic of the night. I really loved getting married here and would recommend MyMoon to anyone I know looking for a venue for any special occasion. -

Beautiful Fall Wedding at Mymoon
Our wedding at Mymoon was the most magical day. From the flowers by @graceandgritflowers and @jaymcelfresh bringing it with the best music, we had the best time! But the venue @Mymoonnyc was really what brought it all together. This beautiful venue brought the mood and warmth that we were looking for. The ceremony was so beautiful in their gorgeous garden and the reception in the main room with their high ceilings and brick walls was breathtaking. Above and Beyond our Expectations

I could never thank Lee & Stuart enough for making our evening special & run so smoothly. Not only did the venue have amazing food & beautiful deck garden, the service was so amazing.
I didn't hire florist or any one for decor. I ordered everything & showed my friends my vision to put together the day of wedding & prayed for the best.
Lee & Stuart brought my vision to life & better than I had ever could imagine. They took care of every little detail. Any questions I had, were answered before I could even think of them, taking away any stress I had. Seriously can't thank them enough, Everything went as scheduled & without a hitch. Beautiful venue, delicious food, incredible wedding coordinator
We planned our wedding at MyMoon in record time—we got married at MyMoon just seven weeks after taking a tour of the venue. We couldn’t have done it without Lee, the most extraordinary, kind, and organized wedding coordinator you could possibly find. Our wedding was on the smaller side, with about 85 guests. Our ceremony took place on the heated deck, which remained warm and joyous even on a freezing night. The food was delicious—and we were also very easily able to accommodate our vegetarian and vegan guests thanks to the flexibility of the chef and kitchen staff. While there’s always stress leading up to these events, the wedding itself was completely stress-free for me. Lee was our guide, keeping everything gracefully moving on time (ceremony, toasts, first dance, etc.), and he remained such a calming presence throughout it all. I knew everything would be okay with him there! So many of our guests kept telling us how absolutely beautiful the venue was and that it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to. We actually didn’t need to provide many flowers or decorations of our own because the venue is gorgeously ornate all on its own—a true dream. -

Over the Moon!
Cannot recommend this venue enough! We had our wedding at MyMoon on a Sunday afternoon in September, and our guests are still raving. From an event planners perspective, this place is a gem. There is very little decor that needs to be brought in because the venue comes with its own cool ambiance. There are separate rooms for the ceremony/celebration and a beautiful outside area. Not to mention, the food and drinks are DELICIOUS! The service was very professional and Lee, the event manager, is incredibly meticulous- he works with you throughout to ensure that you too will be over the moon. -

I know a lot of people say this, but we had the best wedding I’ve ever been to, and MyMoon was 100% responsible for that. Our guests were blown away. On the day of the wedding, the venue was beautiful, the staff were so professional, the process was seamless, and we didn’t have to worry about anything, we just got to have fun. Lee, the wedding coordinator, held our hand through every step of the planning process. We honestly could not have felt more relaxed and reassured after meeting him. He is the warmest, most caring, and detail oriented person I’ve ever met. He was concise when we needed clarity, reassuring when we were nervous, and genuinely happy for us throughout. By the end he felt like family. Every other staff member we interacted with were beyond professional and friendly. Could not say nice enough things about everyone we encountered. All in all, MyMoon took what could have been a stressful process and made it fun. Every time we went to visit, whether it was to do a tasting or walk through something with Lee, it was just fun and felt like we were coming home. At the end of the day, if you want your wedding to truly be the best day of your life, do it at MyMoon. Our guests raved about the delicious food, seamless event, and the gorgeous space. It felt really us and really Brooklyn, and was enjoyed by locals and out of towners alike! -

MyMoon was the perfect wedding location - our biggest goals were great food, great flowing booze, and beautiful indoor & outdoor decor. MyMoon ticked all of those boxes. The heated outdoor ceremony space worked well for a November wedding. Lee was a wonderful coordinator who helped make our more unique ideas come to life and helped structure our whole evening. Friends are still commenting about how amazing the food and space were. Would recommend to any couple. -

To give some context, my husband and I married last year in a quiet and simple City Hall ceremony. We decided to use our first year anniversary to honor our beloved friends and family who helped us set down roots in New York City. We happened upon MyMoon because Tara, my coordinator from Dreammakers vouched for their professionalism, kindness, and genuine desire to see through the couple’s vision. Our liaison at MyMoon was Lee Chappell, a wonderful man with a soft-spoken but firm hand in running the wedding venue. As a data scientist, I am fast, decisive, and organized. I expect nothing less from the vendors I work with. Lee matched my speed, my drive, and answered my questions precisely. The venue itself is gorgeous – but in my experience, venues who know they are sought after, feel like they falter in professionalism because demand for them is so high. MyMoon is gorgeously rustic, elegant, and very well lit, this is all a given. What sets them apart is the way they treat their couples, coordinators, affiliate vendors. It was a little above my budget, but I would rather work with Lee, than someone else who will rack up my anxiety with radio silence up until the week before. -

Outstanding Wedding Experience

We wanted a one stop shop for a modest size wedding (about 80 people) and found exactly that. Our guests were absolutely stunned by the gorgeous space and the food was exceptional. I cannot emphasize enough how happy we are that we got married and had our reception at MyMoon! We live in Los Angeles, so we had to plan everything remotely. We were only able to tour the venue in November and taste the menu in April.
We toured a TON of other places around Brooklyn and Manhattan and none of them even came close to MyMoon! The first time we saw the place, being that it was November, a lot of the greenery was absent. But, it still became our frontrunner option because of Lee, who is in charge of events.
Among all of the other venues we toured, only about half of them had the actual events director show up for the tour (it was the day after thanksgiving, so there is that). But when we got to MyMoon, I immediately could tell that Lee was someone who cared about each and every wedding that took place at MyMoon. The food tasted incredible, so after we did our tasting, we just moved forward and started planning.
Every person who attended our wedding kept saying things like 'Wow, this is a really cool place", "the food was so good!", "how did you find this venue? It's such a cool place!" etc.
If you are planning a wedding in NY, you really should schedule a time with Lee to tour the place and check it out. Our budget was about $30,000 and I feel like we could not have chosen a better place, even if we had 10x or 100x what our budget was! -

We had the most perfect wedding at mymoon in March! My husband and I live locally but most of our family traveled from upstate NY. Everyone loved the venue and spending the weekend in Brooklyn. When we first started looking at venues in Brooklyn, we new mymoon would be the best option for all that you get for the price. We had a larger wedding (145 guests) which made us a bit nervous since that is close to capacity for the seated dinner style reception but the whole night went flawlessly! We had our ceremony on the newly-covered deck and it was beautiful! When I arrived to the venue early to do photos with our family, I couldn't believe how beautiful the inside looked. Lee & co set everything up perfectly and I just couldn't believe it was for OUR wedding. Lee helped immensely during those last few weeks going over every detail and making us feel at ease. Day of, he seemed to be everywhere at once making sure things went smoothly but also that we were enjoying ourselves and not worrying about a thing. I am a teacher/planner and like to be in control and I was amazed how relaxed I felt throughout the whole day thanks to Lee and the staff at mymoon. We used many of the preferred vendors and had great experiences. The food was excellent--much higher quality that I originally expected. I honestly don't have one negative thing to say. We are so grateful to have had our wedding ceremony and reception at mymoon--Thank you!!!! -

Words can't express how excellent this venue and all the staff are. We held our evening wedding here this June. Lee, my moon's wedding coordinator was beyond amazing. He organizes everything with you so that prior to the wedding you feel confident that everything will work out. Day of wedding he was on top of everything. All was on schedule and well coordinated. Staff / Severs/ Bartenders were excellent and polite. We held an outside ceremony which I would highly recommend, cocktail hour and indoor reception. Our guest loved every moment and detail. Food was delicious!!!!

We’re soo glad we found MyMoon for our wedding!
We’d give them a million stars if we could! MyMoon is such a stunning wedding venue in the heart of Williamsburg. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. This was the first venue we had visited on our search for a wedding venue and we were SOLD! We instantly fell in love with MyMoon. We met with Lee, who my husband and I affectionately like to call our “Zen wedding Coordinator “ he was so knowledgeable about everything wedding related and no detail was too small for him. The food blew us away at both our first meal there and the tasting, and the food on our wedding night was exactly the same, simply perfection! After getting engaged last December, and originally mulling over a spring 2019 wedding, we decided we couldn't wait that long and didn't want to embark on over a year of planning and logistics. Our goal was to find a local NYC venue where we could hold an autumn wedding that would best suit our personality and our guests - no easy task in a city where venues are booked 18 months or more in advance! After looking at many a boring wedding hall and a long list of bare industrial lofts where we would have to take care of everything from furniture to sound equipment to insurance on our own, we were about to give up when we found MyMoon. Before even talking to them, we decided to swing by one evening for dinner (to-die-for Spanish tapas!) and see it up close. The building is a gorgeous revamped old boiler room from a factory, which my fiance and I immediately geeked out over, with gorgeous industrial touches making it a one-of-a-kind space - another bonus was that it's so beautiful, the space doesn't require a ton of additional design work or add-ons in order to look amazing for your big day. But all of this is just the icing on the cake that is their amazing event staff! From the second we met Lee, who manages events at MyMoon, we knew this had to be the place. Lee is nothing short of magical, and helped guide us through every step of the way, with every choice we needed to make, and gave us priceless recommendations on everything from logistics (tenting, weather worries, etc.) to additional vendors we'd been considering, and was proactive, transparent and upbeat every step of the way. You get the sense that this is truly Lee's calling, and we would not have wanted to have anyone else be our "wedding sherpa". Having accessibility concerns as well as international guests flying in especially for our wedding, we were understandably stressed over making everything work, and Lee was instrumental in having our big day go as smoothly as possible. MyMoon's staff as a whole was outstanding, from our tastings to our final walkthrough to the event and even the next day, when we came by to pick up decorations and other stuff we'd left behind - everything was organized to a tee, and we really didn't have a thing left to worry about, which was AMAZING. Our guests loved the space, and especially loved the food - we were able to accommodate everyone's dietary restrictions and still have a wedding where everyone kept coming up to us to rave about how outstanding the food was (as well as text & FB messages after the wedding!) from sangria cocktail hour to the desserts. The drinks were flowing, our guests couldn't stop dancing, and we got to have the wedding of our dreams. Hats off to Lee and the MyMoon team for being truly out of this world. If we had to get married again, we'd come back to MyMoon, hands down. -

The planning process with Lee Chappell was completely seamless from our first meeting with him. He answers every email and phone call very quickly and is very informative and kind. The ambiance of the space is just beautiful and the food is KILLER. Seriously, the day of our food tasting was almost as fun as the wedding- there are SO many delicious choices for your meal, and we're not talking about your standard chicken or fish here! We also loved that the meal was family style- our guests really thought that was a nice touch. If you choose MyMoon for your wedding, put your mind to ease because you WILL have the best day of your life! The whole staff is so wonderful and nice and made us feel so special the whole day. We especially loved that there are no hidden costs in the contract, and Lee is very upfront with all costs for your day. The outdoor area is so lovely for the ceremony, and even though it rained on our day, nobody even noticed because they have a beautiful retractable roof with lights that gave a beautiful ambiance to the area. Seriously, stop looking for venues right now, call Lee, and get married at MyMoon!

I remember reading reviews for My Moon before we even saw the venue and saw his name so many times. Now, I understand why! He helped with so many parts from set up, dealing with all other vendors, transitioning all parts of the ceremony to reminding us about cake cutting- He even set up my train and veil before I walked down the aisle! He helped us set up the ceremony inside because it started raining last minute. It still was gorgeous. My Moon is rustic, romantic and so Brooklyn. Everyone loved the venue and the food! The food- I loved our h'orderves and the passed out sangrias! The price is very reasonable for being in the heart of Williamsburg. My Moon is the way to go- they provide food, alcohol, small desserts and even have a DJ booth. I am 100% happy that I got married at My Moon.MyMoon Restaurant's reply:

Guests kept on raving about how food was awesome and how the place looked so intimate and cozy! Lee Chappell did an awesome job helping us out from day 1. He walked us through everything and made all the planning stress-free. He would reply right away if you had any questions. So easy to work with! The day before the wedding I dropped off all the props we are using for the reception and surprised at how well he arranged everything!! This place is highly recommended!

Lee (Wedding Coordinator) is such a pleasure to work with and without him I may have pulled all my hair out on the day of the wedding. On our initial visit he walked us through the venue and we knew right there and then we wanted to get married there. It was the first and last venue we visited. From there Lee and I corresponded via email and everything in terms of planning went smoothly. Any questions I had he was very prompt in answering. He also sent me a list of recommendations for vendors and often sent me photos for any reference I needed. On the day of the wedding we had a timeline but Lee was able to work around any changes that needed to happen and make suggestions for us. I really had no worries and I truly appreciate the experience we had there. The food was perfect and our guests really enjoyed all of it. -

The garden area is colorful and inviting, the inside of the restaurant maintains all the character of the industrial space it once was and the food is just simply exquisite. We worked with Lee to plan our wedding, and when I say he didn't miss a beat, it's an understatement. He treated us like VIPs every time we came in for an appointment and promptly answered every question from every email I ever sent him over the course of a year. During that time we also got to know much of the staff that worked our wedding, all of who always took pride in their work and who offered us excellent service each time we stayed for a meal. Rhina, who works alongside Lee, was exceptional as well, and truly cared about us as people and not just as clients. It rained most of our day and it threatened to move our ceremony inside. Lee knew I had my heart set on the garden so he waited until the last minute to see if the weather improved before making a final decision and it cleared up! I also decided to hire an espresso bar for the desert portion of my reception, and although it had not been done before, Lee was receptive to the idea and kindly communicated with the vendor to straighten out all the details. He made sure to find out every last detail of what I wanted done on the wedding day and he surpassed any expectations I could have had. All was done to perfection! He personally tended to us the whole night AND made sure all else was running smoothly. Even my guests noticed how on point he was! My husband and I enjoyed our planning process as much as we enjoyed the actual wedding day and were sad when it was all over! We wouldn't change a thing and are incredibly lucky we can return to MyMoon for dinner whenever we want knowing we can visit the staff, relive our amazing wedding memories and enjoy an exquisite meal at the same time.
