Simply Amazing

Myleighs Morsels catered our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. We couldn't ask for better staff or food. Chef Pennye was SO quick to respond to any and EVERY question I had, which were many. Everyone at the rehearsal dinner and the wedding raved about the food. I couldn't have asked for anything better!

Amazing food and service

We hired myleighs for our wedding and they did not disappoint. The food was delicious and I had so many guests ask who catered because they were amazed at how good the food was!

Great food!

We chose Myleigh’s because their menu was in our budget and they’d catered a couple of other weddings we’d been to and we had no complaints about our meal either time! We knew we wanted Tomato Basil Soup and Grilled Cheese as part of our appetizers, and, when we began researching caterers, that was the first thing I looked for. Myleigh’s has them!

When it came down to the dinner and reception timeline, they were flexible with the timing in order to meet our needs while still maintaining the time they needed to set up, serve, and break down.

If you’re working within a certain budget, they have different tiered dinner and appetizer pricing, and they are able to customize it if you need to! We paid a little extra to have chicken added to one of our pastas and have yet to hear any complaints regarding the food from any guests - a goal my husband had going into planning.

Great food and great service!

MyLeigh's Morsels did a fantastic job at our wedding! During the planning Pennye was very accommodating with our many questions and was able to update our order up until 2 weeks before the wedding. Everyone loved the charcuterie display during the cocktail hour and the dinner was delicious. We arranged for extra staff to provide pre-plated salads at the tables and to fill drink pitchers at the tables, and they did a great job. They even packed us a to-go box before they left, and it was juuuust what we needed at the end of the night!

Food and Staff were great!

Chef Pennye was amazing! We tasted her food at an open house, and we were hooked!
MyLeigh's Morsels was professional, responsive, and tasty!
We had chicken marsala, mashed potatoes, and green bean almandine!
As we got closer to the wedding date, Pennye was attentive, and she was very flexible. We got lots of compliments on food, and we would definitely book MyLeigh's Morsels again!

Chef Pennye is amazing! We scheduled a tasting with her in January for our April wedding. We were having a lot of out of state and international guests and wanted to do a southern/ Texas style barbeque menu. We tasted the BBQ chicken and brisket. You don't normally expect much from chicken- we were just doing it as an option for those that didn't eat beef. BUT DANG Y'ALL. This woman's BBQ chicken fell off the bone if you touched it and was full of flavor. Her brisket was great as well, but the chicken was just a shocker! We also went with dirty rice and green beans for our side dishes.
Pennye was in contact regularly with me prior to the wedding date. We were able to give her some specific requests and she accommodated them perfectly (we had some family that are Hindu and unable to eat beef, she adjusted her dirty rice recipe just for them!). Her final price was also perfect- a huge value and super competitive with other caterers I contacted.
On my wedding day her team was in and set up with no problem. The guests loved the food and everything went great. I was incredibly happy with this experience and would hire MyLeigh's Morsels again in a heartbeat!

We had MyLeigh's cater a women's retreat for 15 women. We were beyond pleased with the amount and quality of the food. Breakfast quiches were delicious and my personal favorite was the chicken ceaser salad, breadsticks and tomato basil soup. Dessert for dinner was Tres Leche cake....it was FABULOUS! They worked within our budget and we couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely use them again!

I really wish i could give more than 5 stars she is amazing. Her staff was also amazing besides serving the guest we had a personal person who was serving my husband and I. ( I like the way that sound l0l ) They took care of everything we needed and even made sure that we ate and when guest pulled us away from our table they made sure not to take out food away. Chef Pennye even surprised me with a pasta bowl for my husband which was his favorite. He was so happy because he really wanted the pasta so that really made his night even more. Thank you again for making my night even more special. #welcomingthejacksons

Chef Pennye and her team were AMAZING! I got numerous compliments the days following the wedding about how great the food was! Super delicious and wonderful staff! We even had a sweet kid's buffet for our little ones :)

Chef Pennye is the best! She made us a completely custom menu. Everything tasted fantastic. The service was perfect. All of our guests were so pleased! We couldn't be happier!

Everyone bragged on the food and it isn't often that you go to a wedding and have fabulous food!!!! From the pork tenderloin, potatoes, squash and zucchini to the fantastic meatballs and the edible spoon with ceviche!!!! Thank you so much!!!

We used MyLeigh's Morsels to assist with serving items and staff. They did an outstanding job at my daughters wedding. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff that handled the event and everything was cleaned up and handled promptly. It was a relief to have the staff handle the buffet line, I truly believe it helped make the line move quickly and they did a great job.

We were very pleased with the choices of their menu and decided on the Cajun pasta for our special day. Everything turned out very tasty and even though we didn't have a lot of time to sit and enjoy our whole meal, we were very satisfied with everything! All of our guests were very pleased as well and mentioned several times how good everything was. Thank you so much for helping be a part of our day!

If I could rate Pennye and her crew with more than 5 stars, I would. Pennye designed menu options that were perfect for my groom and I, which is no small accomplishment! I never had to chase her down for responses. Instead, she was proactive in reaching out and communicating with me. She even toured our venue ahead of time to ensure she was prepared. The meal Pennye provided was outstanding... far better than what we expected for the affordable rate. We received nothing but compliments from our guests on both the food and the professionalism of her team. One of our favorite post-wedding moments was finding the catering crew's photos in the online photo booth album! I highly recommend Penny and her team at MyLeigh's Morsels.

To summarize: If you come across MyLeigh's Morsels in your search you can stop right there! First of all, Chef Pennye is not only a professional, but she has that special something that makes you feel right at ease. She went out of her way to accomodate some of our schedule quirks, including tasting. Her food is fantastic and her service and staff were not only professional, but were very engaging, friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. We had a back yard event and they used our kitchen to cook and stage the buffet style food we provided and they left the kitchen cleaner than it was when they came! I look forward to using MyLeigh's in the future and will go out of my way to recommend them!

Chef Pennye is a sweetheart. We used her for our wedding and she was very patient, professional and worked with our budget. She was truly a heaven send. Even in the midst of her grieving the death of her loved one she took the time to assure us that she was still on point with all of our catering needs.She has the greatest personality and her food tastes delicious !!! She can cook me anything ! Can't wait to use her again! I would definitely refer her for all occasions.

Chef Pennye is superb. She uses fresh ingredients and everyone is totally delighted with the quality and taste of food. We actually used her as our chef for a Sunday brunch and are so happy she works with us.

Pennye is very professional, polite and sweet. She was very flexible with the menu for my son's birthday party and helped me with ideas. Everything was delicious and my guests raved about the food - there weren't any leftovers! I have used her services for 3 different events and all were very well received. I will definitely hire her for my next event!

Pennye and her crew did a fantastic job for our housewarming/birthday party. We were very impressed with their professionalism and quality of service. The food was delicious. The only reason there is not 5 stars is because I noticed some of the food wasn't made from scratch since I was under that impression. Other than that everything was great! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. :)

Fantastic job!

Chef Pennye was fantastic. She was responsive and extremely flexible, helping us to substitute different sides and working with us to have a couple different main dishes. Upon hearing that I really liked soup, she added a different flavor option for the souptinis (on the appetizer menu!) so it could be even more special.

All of the food was delicious and one guest or another commented that almost every dish was their favorite. Most popular were the crab cakes, meatballs and bread pudding. My favorite was the roast beef sliders. Never had roast beef that tasted so good before.

Can not say enough !!! Pennye is an outstanding chef !!! We had her cater a small dinner party in our home. She was very accommodating to all of our guest needs. The food was top notch. We will have Pennye cater to us again. FABULOUS !!!!

Wedding catering

We enjoyed the food at our wedding and the staff was amazing. Just wish that I was able to try our meal choices before the wedding without the enormous fee or have some sort of accommodation if I did pay the fee.
