It was a pleasure working with Mariangela and her assistant, they were super friendly and easy to work with! She did an amazing work with personalising the wedding! Flair with impeccable professionalism and grace
My husband proposed in November of 2022 and we decided that we wanted to have a destination wedding in his parents home city of Chania, Crete in mid-2023.
We pottered around and tried to make enquires from Sydney, Australia for a date in August 2023, even though we have a substantial amount of family in Chania we honestly struggled.
We had a number of interactions with several different companies/persons. Most of them leaving us with frustration and doubts if our dream wedding could be realised by our time line.
By January we felt like we had exhausted all options and with a few false starts we thought maybe our vision wouldn’t come to fruition. Then we found Mariangela @My Planner. From our first emails and video calls we felt comfortable.
Mariangela was a perfect match for us. She is super professional, radiating positivity, incredible easy to communicate with and a really genuine person.
She never said no to our sometimes outlandish requests but helped us make decisions that ensured a wonderful flow to our wedding. She gave us clear accurate information and options throughout the process.
6 weeks prior to our wedding we had an issue with one of vendors. It was with one of two vendors that were not directly recommended by Mariangela. So close to our event we contacted Mariangela from Australia and within 5 minutes we were on a call with Mariangela, she not only reassured us but by the next morning she had reconfirmed that she has reached out to her vendor network for an alternative. In less than 3 days since our initial issue we had decided our replacement vendor with guidance of Mariangela.
I have take the below from another review on goggle but only because it so rings true! “Another of her skills that really elevated our experiences, was her approach to selecting possible vendors and suppliers. The team she created for us did not just deliver quality beyond our dreams, but all of them gave us this genuine good-hearted vibe. During our wedding we really felt like they were all a part of our party and not that we were surrounded by strangers”.
Mariangela and her team were able to source every element we had dreamed of, from an audio guest book, material signage and grooms favourite vintage sports car!
We chose to have a mix of Cretan traditional with our modern touch for our wedding. This sometimes proved tricky with our family providing strong opinions on certain elements. However, Mariangela handled everything, including family requests, with grace and prompt resolve.
Mariangela and Stefania also helped us navigate the church proceedings with our somewhat eccentric priest also with clarity and grace. There was a lot of paperwork required prior and post ceremony but we felt reassured throughout.
I would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. She creates such amazing beautiful events with such support and trust. There are no words that can truly describe how much we appreciate Mariangela and her team.My Planner by Mariangela Pateraki's reply:

When your wedding preparation is creative and enjoyable rather than stressful, you know you have the right people on your side :) Mariangela and her team accompanied us from the very first days of the preparations of the most beautiful party of our lives and stood up to all our demands and expectations since we live permanently abroad. Excellent professionals who work only with the best, paying attention to even the smallest detail. I would blindly choose the same team for any other event I would like to organize. We were so lucky to have Mariangela and her team be apart of our day! They are very professional, kind and good listeners. Like a fairytale ♥️
„When dreams come true…“. Das beschreibt unseren Hochzeitstag am besten. Wir sind so dankbar, dass wir Mariangela bei der Planung unserer Hochzeit und an unserem Hochzeitstag an unserer Seite hatten. Sie war in jeder Sekunde für uns da und immer erreichbar.
Unser Tag war wie im Märchen. Von den Vorbereitungen, über die Trauung bis hin zur Feier in unserer absoluten Wunschlocation, war einfach alles perfekt.
Wir hatten einige herausfordernde Wünsche, bei denen es wichtig war, dass alles top geplant ist. Mariangela hat das alles einwandfrei gemeistert und wir haben sogar noch viele tolle Überraschungen erleben dürfen, die sie mit eingeplant hat, von denen wir als Brautpaar nichts wussten. Wir waren total happy und absolut überwältigt!
Oftmals hört man, dass man den Hochzeitstag nicht in vollen Zügen genießen kann, weil alles wie im Flug vergeht. Das war durch Mariangela überhaupt nicht der Fall. Sie hat uns Freiräume verschaffen, damit wir beide auch Zeit für uns hatten und verschiedene Augenblicke in vollen Zügen genießen konnten.
Es war alles perfekt: Fotograf, Videograf, Stylisten, Location, Dekoration, Blumenschmuck, Catering, DJ, Live-Band, Gastgeschenke.
Wir hatten Gäste aus Deutschland und Griechenland. Alle waren total begeistert und meinten, dass sie noch nie auf so einer traumhaften Hochzeit gewesen sind und es wahrscheinlich auch nicht mehr sein werden.

Mariangela the superwoman!
After deciding to have a destination wedding, I can frankly say that we struggled awhile to find a wedding planner. Our mission to find the right person led us through a chain of interactions with several different companies/persons. Most of them leaving us with frustration and doubts if our dream wedding could be realized.
But all this came to a quick turn, and our feelings turned to joy and excitement the second that we came in contact with Mariangela @My Planner. What we found in Mariangela was a perfect match for us. She is a super professional, radiating positivity, incredible easy to communicate with and a genuine nice person.
During the process of planning and making decisions, we always felt comfortable and in perfect control. She gave us accurate information and just the right amount details to have a clear overview, and she guided us through the journey with her suggestions and advice.
We felt safe and taken care of through everything, and never once felt pressured in any way making any of our choices. The best way of describing our experience is, that we felt that she had this extraordinary ability to really understand our needs and capturing our vision.
Another of her skills that really elevated our experiences, was her approach to selecting possible vendors and suppliers. The team she created for us did not just deliver quality beyond our dreams, but all of them gave us this genuine good-hearted vibe. During our wedding we really felt like they were all a part of our party and not that we were surrounded by strangers.
Our wedding can only be expressed as epic, and we will cherish the memories forever.

We have Mariangela to thank for the most magical and perfect wedding near Chania, Crete in July 2022. Every step of the way we felt our special day was safe in her hands. Due to Covid there were inevitable hurdles along the way, but she handled all calmly and professionally. Mariangela has a passion for her work and her attention to detail is amazing! She has a wonderful team of professionals working along side her including, photographers, hair and make-up, florists, DJ's plus a large portfolio of contacts and perfect wedding venues to choose from. We really enjoyed planning our wedding with Mariangela, she made it fun and allowed us to be as creative as we wanted to be. I am so grateful to her for making our vision come alive. The best wedding planner in the world!!!!
Mariantzela made a dream I didn’t know I had come true !
I never liked weddings , so to organise mine seemed impossible. Thank goodness I found her and she made everything possible and beyond !
She was always there for me , somehow knew exactly what I needed and the result was amazing for everyone , Every guest was talking about it for months after .
I wish I won’t get married again , but if I would , I’d choose her again and again !

Mariangela is an absolutely amazing wedding planner!
When we first met, we realized that we were on the same page and entrusted the organization of such an important day to the beautiful Mariangela.
Our wedding was everything we hoped for and more! The evening progressed so smoothly and on a schedule that we were able to relax and truly enjoy the magic of our special day. The flowers, decorations, and lighting were stunningly gorgeous.

Comprehensive service, extremely satisfied.
We had a wedding in Crete in June, Mariangela organized everything very promptly and quickly, as we planned the wedding at the last minute, provided us a comprehensive service, chose a wonderful place for our wedding ceremony, we were extremely satisfied. Thanks to Mariangela, we had no worries and we fully enjoyed this wonderful time. The wedding was beautiful during sunset, forever this moment will remain in our hearts. Mariantzela is a very friendly and helpful professional with a natural creativity, enthusiasm and determinism for what she does. She was our wedding planner and really helped us a lot to organise our wedding in accordance to our needs, budget and taste. Great and super reliable planner
Mariantzela is an amazing and reliable planner. We hired her to organize our wedding party (including a small ceremony) in Chania, Crete. We are both based in United States but one of us is from Chania (born and raised) so we wanted our party to be the right mix of traditional and modern. Mariantzela and her team did a great job and we totally recommend her.
- She is very reliable, giving us only true facts without any sugarcoating or exaggerations.
- She was very respectful of our needs, desires and time schedules.
- She works with some of the best vendors in Chania but she was very willing to collaborate with some of our desired vendors outside of her list.
- She handled perfectly all communication between us and the vendors and we never had to talk with anybody other than her (except the week of the party to arrange drinks, music, flowers etc).
- She came up with creative ideas at points when we were stuck and always had good suggestions.
- She organized an additional party for us (free of charge).
- Very easy to communicate with her in English (and of course Greek). -

I loved Mariangela (My Planner) as a person and as a the best planner! We have contacted with many Planners from Crete and she was without doubts the best choice! She does not have "predefined" themes, she works with you, to make sure that your dream weeding come true and it works!! Also, she is very flexible, easygoing and professional. She works with you on the price, in terms of catering, venue, Dj/Band and what is the most important if you said you dont like something, she will not push, she will agree, as she wants you to be happy! Would choose have another ten thousands times and recommend to each undecided couple! If you want to have a wedding from your dreams, Mariangela will be unconditionally the best choice!! -
