We are so glad we chose John to officiate our wedding! From our very first interactions, he was kind, personable, and incredibly easy to work with. He explained the whole marriage process in such a clear and comforting way, which instantly put our minds at ease.
We booked John well in advance, and when we finally met him at our rehearsal, we couldn’t have been happier — he was calm, supportive, and genuinely thoughtful.
On the wedding day, with all the nerves and excitement happening, John was right there to help steady us and make sure we stayed present in the moment. The ceremony he led was beautiful, meaningful, and exactly what we hoped for — and we can’t thank him enough for that.

My husband and I admired John’s joyful presence, professionalism, and attention to detail. His ability to personalize our vows made the words flow poetically and reflect exactly who we are as a couple.
The first time I called, John immediately set the tone for a wonderful experience. He made us feel valued, and took time to truly understand our vision, by asking thoughtful and pointed questions.
Throughout our wedding planning journey, John was incredibly responsive. He let us know that we could call/text/email him with any questions, and he would promptly answer with helpful suggestions and ceremony ideas.
He wrote us several elegant, heartfelt options for vows and ring statements, to which I received via email far in advance of our wedding date. This itself made all the difference! My husband and I had a clear awareness of what we’d recite, had ample time to make decisions, and John welcomed any feedback for edits (we didn’t need to edit, the phrasing, as is, was lovely!).
When the rehearsal came, John arrived early and prepared. He brought just the right mix of humor and expertise, and made practicing fun for my family, wedding party, and my husband and me. By the end, everyone was happy and knew exactly what to do during the big day.
Our ceremony was perfect! All owed to John, for ensuring the words were warm, sincere, and full of love. Thanks to John’s role in our special day, we were able to be present in the moment, without a single worry.
Later, even days after the ceremony, my guests spoke about how touched they were, and how they themselves wished they could’ve had an officiant like John. The best part of this is that you can!

Perfection
John Reardon married us this April 2023. He is so informative and helpful. He will also suggest a lot of different ways to do the ceremony. You and your groom will be in so much ease after you talk to him and ask all the questions you have. He made us feel calm and peaceful in our wedding. As soon as I got to the front he took a pause to let everyone take their seats. He is also funny, if you have some gimmick for the wedding he will support that 100%
I read my vows to my husband and he asked me if i wanted to keep the mic and i said yes. Everyone was just laughing and having fun during our wedding ceremony. It was so perfect. My imagination of my ceremony was way beyond that expected. I love it very much! -

My fiance and I needed someone to officiate our wedding at Anastasia State Park. Coming from out of town we didnt know where to start. After calling around and reading reviews we choose John. He was great at keeping in touch and making sure we felt comfortable the whole way.
The ceremony he put together for us was beautiful. He was easy to work with and delightfully personable. His light hearted way made us feel at ease. We were thrilled with how he adapted to our style. His joy was totally infectious. -

Best experience ever! John and I have been friends for years and when I told him that I was getting married and asked if he was available to preform our ceremony he was delighted (not to mention pleasantly surprised).
Our vows were personalized. He was so wonderful with our guests and knowing me as he does - made it fun and so very special for all to enjoy.
I can’t recommend him enough. John made our special day so very personalized and everyone attending had the best time.

It’s great to be able to laugh when you’re in the middle of doing something that means so much to you, but you have to have that humor in there or it’s so stressful. I would highly recommend him. -

John R. was our wedding officiant for our November 2020 wedding in St. Augustine, and I don't think we could have had a better officiant! John was able to portray our story, relationship, and personalities perfectly. I liked that my ceremony was unique, and that I was able to chose the EXACT wordings and statements that we wanted incorporated. We had MANY guests tell us they loved our ceremony and asked us how we knew John, because he made it seem like he was a family friend who had been there since the start of our relationship. He really cares about the couples and making their dream wedding a reality. We can't thank John enough for being there for our perfect day, and I would recommend him to anyone! -

My uncle was supposed to officiate our wedding. We had it planned from the second we.gpt engaged, as he officiates all of the weddings in our family. Sadly, his wife was diagnosed with cancer 2 weeks before my wedding, and they couldn't make it as they clearly had bigger fish to fry! I frantically started searching for an officiant and John came highly recommended based off of his reviews. I will say he lived up to his reputation and then some! He was able.to accommodate us on short notice, and was so easy to work with. John arranges his style to fit yours for your ceremony and personalities, and is incredibly responsive and personable. I am so grateful for John saving the day and officiating our wedding, while making us feel completely comfortable and honoring our requests. Highly recommend! -

A beautiful, personalized ceremony!
John was fantastic. We spoke with him on the phone for our initial consultation with him and loved his positive energy and his professionalism from the beginning. He was always prompt in his communication with us, followed up when he said he would, and was thorough with describing his process. He provided a number of options for what he and we would say in our ceremony. We requested a few changes to a unity ceremony and he was happy to update them. For our vows, we ended up using a combination of vows we wrote ourselves along with portions of sample vows he provided. John was very encouraging of us customizing the ceremony in that way, for which we were very appreciative. During the rehearsal and ceremony, John was on time and appropriately dressed, had a calming presence, was very courteous to our family and guests, and set a happy tone for the ceremony. We are very grateful that he was our officiant for our wedding and would gladly and enthusiastically recommend him to others! Thank you John! -

John was simply a delight as our wedding officiant at The White Room, St. Augustine! He was a great help with creating our customized ceremony, sharing his knowledge of the craft to help my husband and I create a ceremony that fit us as a couple. On the big day, he kept the atmosphere light, adding in a little humor to ease our nervousness, and made everyone feel at home. John was great with communicating with us through the whole process, being very responsive to emails, phone calls, or scheduling a meeting in person. My husband and I were concerned of not having anyone we knew officiating our wedding, but John was so likable and personable that you wouldn't have ever known we had never met him in person before- lol!
