Best DJ Ever!

We truly had the best experience with Vynce and his team, and we are so grateful we chose them for our wedding.

From the very beginning, Vynce was attentive, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. It never felt transactional. He took the time to understand what we wanted and helped guide us through details we would not have thought of on our own, which made the planning process feel so much easier. We are also so thankful that his team agreed to take on draping for us as well even though it wasn't part of the plan at first.

On the day of the wedding, everything came together seamlessly. The DJing, lighting, draping, and karaoke were all handled so smoothly, and the space looked incredible. The music was perfect throughout the night, and Vynce did such a great job reading the room and keeping the energy consistent from start to finish.

Our guests had an amazing time. There was always something happening, whether it was dancing, singing, or just enjoying the moment, and that meant so much to us.

One of the most meaningful touches was the ten hour TWICE remix he created for us as a gift. It was so thoughtful and personal, and it really reflects how much care and heart he puts into his work.

We are beyond grateful for everything Vynce and his team did. For anyone looking for a DJ who is not only talented but also genuinely cares about creating a memorable experience, we could not recommend him more. Our day would not have been the same without him.

DJ Phreek / Vynce was incredible!

Our experience mirrors so many other reviews for Vynce! We interviewed a short list of potential DJs that were recommended by our coordinator, as well as a couple we found ourselves. Vynce had such an upbeat personality as well as a clear answer to all of our questions, and he quickly jumped up to the top of the list. He was incredibly easy to get in contact with and responded to all our emails and questions quickly. He dealt with our "wedding brain" back-and-forth on a few decisions with grace and patience; he also didn't try to pressure us into any additional items or services (though his list of offerings is massive!).

We ended up with a handful of uplights and the photo booth, all of which we were very happy with. His energy and influence on the dancing and various events throughout our wedding were perfect! He helped make sure everything moved smoothly, helped coordinate even when his services weren't explicitly called for, and read the crowd perfectly. We had an incredible time!

Incredible DJ + Team

Vynce helped my wife and I throw our dream wedding at the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum. He was thorough with his instructions for playlists and was flexible with tweaks and changes we made. Everybody had a blast with the photobooth and dancing to the music. He was even able to take some pictures of the wedding in the meantime. Twinkle Lights to the Rescue

Vynce came to my rescue to make my daughter's last wedding reception detail become reality. 3 weeks before the wedding she asked if we could add twinkle lights to the ceiling beams of our venue so it had a charming, romantic feel. I called every place I could find on the internet - none could do it under such short notice. I posted on a group facebook page and Vynce responded. We met the very next day and he was amazing to work with. Easy to communicate with and his pricing was beyond competitive. It was absolutely perfect and his team truly delivered. It was beautiful!!

Hire Him! You’ll be so happy!

Vynce was incredible from the first phone meeting, throughout the planning process, and making sure the day of was smooth and successful. Spectacular Vibe!

Vynce was awesome. We hired Vynce, because from the first phonecall/consultation, we knew he had the right energy and attitude for our wedding. He was more than accommodating and down to earth. The Best San Diego DJ!

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Vynce! He was so professional and attentive at our wedding and leading up to it as well.

In our first intro meeting he listened to our song preferences and style and was very accommodating to our many song requests. We had found him via Yelp and were a bit cautious of booking a vendor that had not been recommended to us by our planner. However, he introduced us over email to another couple who had their wedding at our venue and they quickly replied that they highly recommended hiring him - and they were right!

During our wedding he kept the flow of the ceremony and reception going so smoothly. The uplights he provided also transformed the space, especially during the dancing portion of the night.

The main comment we keep getting from our wedding was how our guests had never seen such a consistently packed dance floor at a wedding, and we attribute that all to the amazing DJ Phreak!

We would definitely recommend that anyone book with him for their upcoming event!!

Having Vynce as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We spent so long looking at different DJs and really wanted someone who understood how important the music is at a wedding. He kept the party going and knew exactly how to hype up the crowd. Best party ever!

Vynce came recommended to us by our planner/coordinator. After checking out his website and social media, we had a virtual/zoom meeting with him. His engaging personality and fun demeanor had us excited and his professionalism and experience made it an easy decision to book with him. He also had a lot of extra offerings that made for a seamless experience, like photobooths, lighting, and more. We booked his time as our DJ and also booked the photobooth and colored uplighting. It was super easy to work with Vynce, as he provided us with music checklists and guidance, and he was super responsive via email.
Leading up to the wedding, we provided him with our music list(s) (based on his guidance sheet and our preferences), including our special songs, must-plays, and do-not-plays. We had a final phone call to talk through the details and make sure we were on the same page, which left us feeling really confident that everything would go smoothly and Vynce would help us throw the party of our dreams! (and he did!)
The day of the wedding, he checked in with us on the uplight colors, was easy to work with any time we had questions, was a great emcee guiding our guests through the various stages of the evening, and did an amazing job keeping people on the dancefloor all night long! He was able to read the crowd and us as a couple so well and incorporate the right music at the right time, including things that weren’t on our original list. The only thing I wish we had thought about beforehand was checking that the venue allowed explicit music so he didn’t have to default to clean versions of our music initially. We realized this later into the night and eventually were able to switch to explicit – so something to keep in mind but absolutely wasn’t a dealbreaker on our wedding night and we had an absolute blast!
I would definite hire Vynce, Music Phreek, again for any type of event and would recommend him to be your wedding DJ – but only if you want to have an amazing time on the dance floor all night long!

Professional, friendly and detail-oriented

Vynce was incredible throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the get-go, his communication was excellent, and he had great suggestions for everything from scheduling to music selection. He helped us shape the key moments of our evening and created exactly the vibe we were looking for.

What stood out was how Vynce was always ready to adapt, even with last-minute changes on the wedding day itself. We even wanted a custom karaoke setup, and he made it happen without a hitch. He handled everything smoothly, keeping the vibe just right.

His music selection was spot-on for every part of the event, especially when it was time to hit the dance floor. Vynce knew exactly how to read the room and keep everyone moving. We also had pre-selected songs for the cocktail hour and dinner, and he prepared those exactly as we had specced it out.

Awesome DJ

Vynce was truly phenomenal! He knows how to capture and read the audience. I knew in my heart that we just had to have him DJ our wedding! It was him or nothing! Highly recommend Vynce for your event, fantastic results!

Vynce was incredible through the entire process of planning our wedding. From the early planning stages he had excellent communication and suggestions for formulating the invites and for designing the music lists. Best DJ/Lighting services

Vynce and his team were amazing. We are so ecstatic that he provided his DJ & lighting services.
We opted for 8 hours of DJ services(throughout our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception), monogram gobo, uplighting throughout the ballroom, and cold sparklers(the best decision ever)! Thankfully I booked him a while out and he was always very responsive and thorough when we had our final call the few weeks prior to our big day.

10/10 DJ experience

My new wife and I are so glad that we hired Vynce “DJ Phreek” Pham as the DJ at our wedding.
Due to some bad luck, the wedding called for a lot of last minute changes, which we were stressed about, but everything turned out wonderfully and our guests had a fantastic time. A lot of that was thanks to Vynce, who was on top of everything and coordinated with the other vendors to make sure we got the wedding we always wanted. We are so grateful to him for being there.
He was also a lot of fun! He worked with us to create a playlist that fit our overall mood and took the time to understand what we were going for. He knew how to keep an energetic, lively atmosphere going that brought people out to the dance floor to live it up and enjoy themselves.

The music, ambience, decor and overall vibe of our wedding was perfect! So thankful to have had him on board. If you’re hesitating, don’t! And just hire him! We and our guests had a great time with him. You will not regret it one bit. Great Communicator!

Vynce was fantastic! My husband and I do not live in the San Diego area and Vynce was fantastic to work with. I was very impressed with his communication throughout the planning process, as well as helped us out a ton with sharing his experiences with other events in the past (we had no idea what we were doing). He walked us through how the night could go, giving great direction.

The night of the event was awesome and many of our guests came up to us after the wedding to tell us how much they enjoyed the team that night.

Overall, I'd recommend the team to any friend or family having an event in the area. I don't think you could go wrong!

What can I say about Vynce, well a lot of good things that one would want to say about someone you trust to be part of one the biggest days in your life. from the very start Vynce guided us in the music process for our wedding and making it our own. Awesome Everything

We lucked out when we were referred to Vynce because he was able to handle way more than just DJ services.

From the very beginning of our wedding reception Vynce crushed the introductions and he kept the dance floor alive all night. In preparation he worked with us to create our event playlist that was timed for all the right moments and it couldn't have been easier. We had a few of our guests specifically mention how outstanding the music was and how everything flowed perfectly. I felt like the mood was right but it's good to know that others appreciated it as well. The photo booth and lights were a hit too.

We couldn't have had a better experience all in all.

Best DJ Ever!

Our venue coordinator recommended Vynce to us and we're so incredibly happy that she did! He was truly amazing from the moment we had our first phone call with him until the very end. Vynce was always in good spirits, was always professional, and was super easy to work with. Our wedding ceremony was outside right next to the trolley tracks and some of our guests even mentioned how great his sound system was. Even as the trolley drove by, they were able to hear our officiant speaking and our vows clearly, so his equipment is top notch. He really kept the crowd alive and made sure to keep our dance floor full. Not to mention that he transformed our venue with beautiful uplighting and market lights that made the space more intimate. Our guests had a truly wonderful time dancing the night away and we can't thank Vynce enough for making our special day a true party.

Above & Beyond DJ

Vynce went above and beyond for our wedding in August 2023. He was really communicative and easy to work with. He tailored our music to our liking for our wedding and keep the party going. We even had an emergency situation during the reception that he handled really well. He was really supportive and made sure to play all the music that we really wanted to hear.

He was extremely organized and went out of his way to set up lighting for us at 7am the morning of the wedding with less than 24hrs notice. There was a miscommunication w/ the venue and they completely threw us all through a loop the day before the wedding but Vynce completely rolled with it and did not sweat it at all. Go with Vynce for DJ (and bonus, he offers lighting too) needs and you'll get so much more, you won't regret it. We certainly didn't!

Absolute best dj out there!

Vynce was the absolute BEST DJ. We met him at an open house event at the Bali Hai Restaurant, and when we met with him, we had no idea what we were looking for initially in a DJ. But he made the conversation so simple. He is super friendly and does his absolute best to work out everything for your special event. He is also very responsive in communicating with those he works with.

During our event, he did a great job of communicating with us to confirm and discuss any and all changes, and he was able to mix together all the music that we chose fluidly. His energy was perfect to get the crowd going, and overall he made our wedding night the best night!

The best DJ you could ever hope for

Vynce and his team truly was everything my husband and I wanted in a DJ for our wedding on 5/20/23. Vynce is extremely personable as well as professional and he was able to keep the energy up throughout the entire day. From first point of contact all the way to the end of our wedding, Vynce maintained open communication with us. He provided advice to us about the flow of our wedding and his insight was really helpful. He was able to understand the general vibe we wanted for music and definitely delivered in creating a fun party for us! My in laws were all raving about the reception saying it's the best wedding that's happened in the family (no lie)!
Our reception actually ended up running about an hour early, and honestly if my coordinator didn't let me know, I wouldn't have felt a difference with how well Vynce was able to keep the tunes playing the whole time. My husband and I firmly believe our wedding wouldn't have been nearly as fun if it wasn't for Vynce and his assistant Sam.

Vynce (DJ Phreek) A++ highly recommended

You're probably reading this because you're in the market for a DJ. Well, I can confidently tell you that your search is over.

We by chance had some contact with Vynce as he was DJing at our venue the day after our wedding for a different wedding. Long story short, our original DJ fell through and so we thought to ourselves "lets see if that Vynce guy is available for our wedding." Sure enough, Vynce was available!

Everything happens for a reason. It couldn't have worked out any better. The professionalism, expertise, and service Vynce provided us was top tier. He is very personable and easy to work with. We happened to be fairly particular with what we needed from a DJ, and Vynce really delivered. Throughout the wedding planning, he was always present anytime we needed him for a call. Fantastic wedding DJ!!

DJ Phreek is the best!! He was by far the best vendor from our wedding day. He worked with us before our wedding to develop a perfect playlist for our entire wedding day. Vynce was an AWESOME DJ and an overall great addition to our wedding. He was wonderful coaching our wedding party through dances, offering ideas for the ceremony, and helping us select and fill our playlist. Vynce aka DJ Phreek did an awesome job at our wedding!! He was very laid back, responsive, and easy to work with. The best dj!

One of the most frequent questions we received after our wedding was, "Who was your DJ?" Vynce did an absolutely amazing job honoring our requests for music and adding a magical soundtrack to the night! The DJ who made "Club Phillips" come to life!

Vynce literally exceeded our expectations! My (now) husband and I had a lot of crazy ideas, song requests and specific sparkler moments but Vynce made it ALL happen and the sparkler moments were perfection! However, the best part about working with him was how great of an attitude he had throughout everything from the planning process until the event ended. He is such a positive, fun person and he brought that energy to the wedding which made him the perfect emcee.

I highly recommend hiring him for your event- he is so on top of everything, responds quickly/easy to communicate with, and keeps the dance floor going all night! When your guests leave your WEDDING saying the dancefloor was "LIT", you know you hired the best DJ.

Excellent outdoor sound, seamless to work with!

Vynce DJ'd our wedding last weekend and was a pleasure to work with! When we first contacted him he was so gracious and took a lot of time to chat with us on the phone and go over what we wanted and explained his services in great detail. Then throughout the wedding planning process, he was always easy to get ahold of, quick to respond, and professional and clear in all his communications. He has a ton of experience in the wedding industry and we really appreciated that he offered a lot of options on ways we could do things and then let us decide! He is basically the resident DJ at the venue we got married at and posts a lot on social media so leading up to our wedding we got many sneak peeks of what we could expect. He worked great with all of our vendors. He had no problem adding in announcements that we asked him to like a reminder to sign guest book, don't leave cars overnight. Amazing DJ!!!

This review is LONG overdue!! Due to the pandemic we had to change not only our date but our venue as well! I dreaded having to let him know because I thought it would be a major issue. Vynce is spectacular!

Vynce is such a spectacular DJ! He helped make my wedding day such a fun filled experience! I had a Hawaiian themed wedding and I requested a lot of Hawaiian tracks and covers that I was worried he might have trouble digging up but he was such a champ that he played every song I requested. The Chinese paper lanterns he had hung at our venue made the decor complete. They were such fun colors. My guests could not stop commenting on how much they loved the music. I would hire Vynce again in a hot minute if I ever got married again (not that I plan on it).

f you are looking for a DJ for your event, Vynce is your man!

We are so happy we chose Vynce to DJ our wedding. He was a vital part of our successful event. He really set the tone for our wedding, kept our timeline on point (definitely wouldn’t have happened without him), made all our announcements, and so much more. When the dance floor opened he did an amazing job at reading the crowd, transitioning, etc. We received several compliments on him & his skills!!

He really knows his stuff and made great suggestions on song choices we were unsure about, timeline suggestions, and overall event fluidity.

With our casual set wedding he was able to check in with me (the bride) to make sure any song I wanted in the moment was played. And he 100% had my back if something was requested that I didn’t want.

Additionally, we used his photo booth service which was the biggest hit of the night! We were very impressed with the set up & the folks running the booth.

Best Night Ever

DJ Music Phreek made our wedding day everything we could have wanted it to be. Vynce allowed us to be as involved as we wanted to be with the music selection and helped us keep a great flow to the entire evening. I would definitely recommend Vynce if you are looking for a D.J.!! Due to COVID-19 restrictions my husband and I had to modify some of our wedding plans and Vynce was so great and willing to step in to help short notice!! San Diego’s Best DJ

I cannot think of recommending any other DJ more than DJ Music Phreek. Since the day we were first introduced, Vynce has been nothing less than a consummate professional and a seasoned veteran in his craft.

With COVID19 forcing us to adapt to the changing tides, DJ Phreek was one of the key constants amongst our vendors. He was extremely helpful, gave crucial recommendations, and was able to adjust no matter what was required.

When the Purple Tier hit and our Catholic ceremony was forced to an outdoor ceremony, it was Vynce who helped provide the speakers, microphones for the mass, and wedding cantor with their devices.

When we needed a HD livestream of our ceremony and reception, Vynce was ready with the equipment and links at his disposal.

And finally, when it came to hashing out the final details before the bridal party introduction, it was Vynce who checked in with me and my wife to ensure he brought our vision to our guests. The fact he checked in with us minutes before the formal introductions before dinner spoke levels to his experience as one of San Diego’s premier DJs.

DJ Phreek is by far the best DJ I’ve ever come across in my entire life. I honestly cannot recommend him enough. And the fact he was willing to work with us despite the constant changes due to the pandemic, says a lot about his work ethic and his accessibility as a genuine friend.

If you have a wedding, event, or any kind of party, you can’t go wrong with hiring DJ Phreek. I would give him 10 stars for each category if I could!

Music Phreek was the DJ for our wedding and we 100% recommend. Vynce was amazing to work with each step of the way, very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. When COVID hit and we had to make significant changes, he was super flexible and extremely helpful. Vynce was more than a DJ, he was an integral part of the planning team through the entire planning process and day-of. We loved loved loved the music he played and the perfect flow he created for our wedding. Importantly, he listened to what we wanted and played music that totally was the life of the party! He went above and beyond in every way possible and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.

DJ Vynce was amazing!!

My husband and I were looking for the perfect DJ to help us ring in the new year for our New Years Eve wedding. Vynce was so easy to work with and fun! He listened to all our requests, made everything happen that we asked for, and went above and beyond to give us and our guests a fun party. He played music at both our ceremony and reception. Everything went off without any hiccups or bumps. During the planning process he was always readily available to communicate and answer our questions. I would highly recommend him! Cheers!

Personalized music experience!!

Vynce was amazing!!! From the first conversation we had with him, up until the last song of the night. Music was a huge factor for my husband and I. We didn't necessarily want the typical wedding music - just wasn't our style. Vynce knew this, and took the time to listen and learn the style of music we liked, and wanted to hear at the wedding. He had us put together a list of songs we wanted to hear, broken down between pre ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner, and dancing. That was genius! Granted we gave him way more songs than he had time for, he did a great job incorporating as many as possible. He was also a great emcee. The music/dj can make or break a wedding, and Vynce definitely made it for us! Lots of compliments from our guests re: the music we had at the wedding. Thanks Vynce for being a part of our special day!!

Amazing DJ/MC did both our Indian and Western Wedding!

Vynce is a phenomenal DJ. He did our 2 day Indian and Western Wedding and really brought the energy. Everyone in our wedding party, family members, friends, etc, loved him. He also did an amazing job turning the ballroom at the resort where we had our afterparty into a "club" with perfect cool blue uplighting.

Furthermore Vynce was crucial in making sure our Indian/Western Wedding Ceremony went off without without a hitch.

I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to hire a DJ/MC for your wedding/event.

Vynce was an awesome wedding DJ!

DJ Vynce was our wedding DJ for our wedding in Rancho Sante Fe last weekend. We could not have been happier with his work! Vynce was very easy to get a hold of in the months and weeks prior to the wedding - incredibly responsive and very easy to work with. We chose to provide all of the music to Vynce for the wedding and let him choose where and how it is played. Our guests had a blast on the dance floor - he perfectly read the crowd and knew what to play and when. He was also great in hyping up the crowd and bringing energy to the reception as the MC. We could not have been happier with him as our DJ. Thank you again, Vynce!!

Rain or Shine Music Phreek will make sure your wedding is everything you dreamed of!

DJ Phreek, Vynce Pham, was an amazing to work with. He had been the DJ for my Brother's wedding and it was such a blast, I knew I had to book him for my own wedding. He made the planning process so easy! And the day of even easier. He really helped me with deciding on the best locations at our venue for the dancing. He even stood out in the rain during the ceremony to ensure we had the perfect ceremony we had dreamed of (minus the sprinkles). He did a great job keeping us on schedule during the reception and everyone had the best time during the dancing! I can't thank Vynce enough for helping make our day unforgettable!

Awesome Guy and Even Better DJ!

Vynce was awesome to work with through the entire process leading up to our wedding. He was professional and courteous, even when we had to make changes in the eleventh hour. Vynce's upbeat personality got us excited while planning, and it was infectious during our wedding. He did a great job reading the crowd and keeping our friends and family dancing until midnight. We'd highly recommend booking Vynce!

P.S. He also takes pretty awesome pictures. He can definitely give some photographers a run for their money with that Samsung S10 of his - just saying.

Amazing dj!

Vynce “DJ Phreek” Pham was absolutely amazing! He was so easy to work with and had such awesome suggestions with lighting and Grand entrances that went off with a hit! He’s even great with last minute changes with last songs lol. Vynce did such a wonderful job making our wedding day extra special with amazing service. Everyone was none stop dancing from beginning to end and it was everything we hoped it would be. I will definitely recommend him to anyone either getting married in San Deigo/San Marcos and Temecula area or just throwing a good party, Vynce is your guy! The music portion of my wedding was probably the most important element in my mind when I began planning my wedding and I definitely made the right choice when hiring Vynce! Vynce is amazing! He is easy to work with and knows how to keep the energy going throughout your wedding.

We were referred to Vynce by our wedding coordinator. He responded to emails promptly and he was always very professional. When we were first looking for a DJ, we emailed a few different people for quotes (including Vynce). A week or so after receiving his quote, Vynce gave us a heads up that another couple was inquiring about our same wedding date and he asked that we put down a deposit if we wanted to secure our date with him. We really connected with Vynce and wanted to book him so I really appreciated that he gave us this heads up. We encountered other wedding vendors who did not give us that courtesy and just booked whoever paid them first.

In our first and only face to face meeting with Vynce before the wedding, he was really informative, knowledgeable and personable. He gave us tips for music and sent us templates to help us make our wedding song list. He also explained all about uplighting and his sound system.

On the day of the wedding, Vynce's work was flawless. He played the songs from our song list and really knew how to keep the energy going all night. Multiple guests told us our wedding was one of the most fun they've been to and we really think Vynce played a big part in that.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vynce to DJ your wedding. Thank you Vynce!

Vynce is an amazing DJ. He kept everyone dancing the whole night at our wedding. He understands how to mix some favorite "oldies" (for my parent's generation) with newer radio hits to keep EVERYONE happy. He was very easy to communicate with about song choices and set-up at the venue. The ceremony was flawless. He finished the night out with our requested last song - as an amazing remix that I will NEVER forget. He is professional, yet approachable/relatable. Vynce knocked it out of the park for our wedding in August!!!! He was nothing but accommodating throughout the whole entire preparation. From type of music, specific cues for wedding songs & just keeping the party going, Vynce did it all!!!! he is just a text or phone call away to answer any questions we needed answered leading up to our big day!!! he even provides the bride/groom with CD’s of our ceremony & reception music at the end of the night (which we still listen to on a daily to relive the BEST DAY EVER!!!!)

*Takes charge of the schedule well and " wrangles" your family respectfully for you! (your DJ makes or breaks pacing of your wedding after the ceremony)

10 stars!!!! Vynce is THE ULTIMATE DJ!! With a wild group of guests coming from 2 very different cultures (Mexican and Hawaiian) he was able to get the party started at 200%, and keep it going the entire night. I would just like to start off by saying that my husband and I were to choose a DJ from the preferred vendor list from our venue.

I must have interviewed every DJ on the list (from about 16+) and I was not too thrilled on the selection. DJ Vynce Pham was the last person I spoke with and I am so glad I met him. Right away I knew he would be the perfect fit for our wedding. He carries such great energy, positivity and really knows his stuff! My husband will say "he is more than just a DJ - he does it all!" He even serves as a bit of a coordinator, set-ups the lighting for your reception venue, and also is one great MC. He ensured everything went smoothly on our big day!

Prior to our wedding we had sync up calls and he is very detailed oriented about the music list and gives great advice. I appreciated his opinions since he has more experience when it comes to weddings!

On our wedding day, there were so many people on the dance floor! DJ Vynce Pham "Music Phreek" kept the party going!! Everything about our wedding was perfect, and he played such a huge role into making it all happen. I recommend Vynce to every couple, he truly is the best!

Vynce is amazing! We actually met Vynce through one of my bridesmaids, he had been her wedding DJ and my husband and I had thought the music was amazing at her wedding! I don't think I could say I was helpful in picking out our music list and he was able to work miracles with what my husband and I were able to give him for our entire wedding. And that's saying something because we had so many different types of music in our list. Even though we literally couldn't make up our minds on certain things up to the day of, he was awesome and presented lots of options. Our wedding night was so much fun and I was so happy to see lots of people dancing. He is truly an amazing person and we are so glad to have met someone with such a big heart, and he even hooked us up with an amazing surprise for our 1st dance! Thank you so much Vynce!!

My husband and I hired our good friend Vynce to be our wedding DJ after we'd attended other events he DJ'd. Our meetings, whether they were by email, text or phone call were always full of laughs but never stopped being the professional he is. He also provided the lighting to our event which looked incredible and even wore a tangerine shirt to match my color scheme. He offered suggestions for dinner music, during cake cutting and grand entrance. He played from our chosen list but also fed off the energy of the crowd and kept everyone on the dance floor. We hired Vynce (DJ Phreek) to DJ our wedding and set up lights in March 2018 and couldn't be happier with his work. Vynce has a great attitude and the highest degree of professionalism. He was in touch with us well in advance of the event to help us through music selection -- what events needed specific sound cues, what kind of music we liked, what songs we wanted played, and so on. He was also able to set up lights at our venue and they looked beautiful. Vynce did a great job at the event and had the dance floor packed all night. We felt like he genuinely wanted to make our event what we wanted while also being totally prepared to jump in with suggestions or ideas. If you have an event you need a DJ or lighting for, definitely call DJ Phreek!

David and I are beyond grateful to have Vynce as our DJ for our recent wedding. Our venue had very strict guidelines for music since it was an outdoor venue and Vynce was listed as one of their preferred DJs/MCs. I will admit that I did reach out to a few other DJs during my search, but I something was just missing/off with the other DJs. I guess they were just all about business... I really can't blame them because this technically is just another business transaction in the books. However, if we need to work with someone for the long haul, we wanted someone authentic and truly passionate about what they do day in and day out. Lucky for us, our florist (Classic Blooms Studio - the best florist in town!) recommended Vynce to us! When you have people in the wedding industry recommending vendors they would use for their own big day, it really says a lot!
After speaking to Vynce on the phone about his style of music and getting to know him, we instantly felt comfortable with him. Vynce was EXTREMELY responsive through out the entire process! The poor guy received a ton of emails from me during all hours of the day and 99% of the time, he responds immediately! He's also very attentive to details and noticed that there was a discrepancy between our contracted service and the timelines I provided him the week before the wedding and immediately pointed it out to me so we can make the necessary changes before the wedding. I should mention that the discrepancy was due to my error vs. Vynce.
On the day of the wedding he kept us on schedule throughout the entire event and was extremely flexible with any last minute requests I made on the day of the wedding (i.e. lighting changes to capture better photos, additional announcements for photos, etc.). Our guests had a great time and we know this because we overheard many of our guests complementing Vynce on the music during cocktail hours (way before the reception actually started!).
We cannot thank Vynce enough.

Vynce DJ’ed my sister’s wedding a few years ago, and did a remarkable job. So when my wife and I first got engaged I didn’t even think twice as to whom we would hire as our wedding DJ.

As soon as we hired Vynce we knew we made the right decision. Not only is he extremely professional, but it seems like he has a never-ending stream of great ideas. Whenever we’d shoot an idea at him, he somehow would take that idea and make it so much better. He made the whole wedding planning process fun and easy. My wife and I are not the most “organized” people, but Vynce did a great job of keeping us on track and getting us prepared for our big day.

On the day of our actual wedding Vynce was the freaking man! The DJ sets the tone for the entire party, and Vynce set the right tone from start to finish. We honestly never once had a hiccup with Vynce.

We highly recommend Vynce. He was responsive, thorough, and professional from beginning to end. Our wedding was an Iranian and Afghan combo so we needed the right mix of music to keep everyone on the dance floor. Vynce took the time to get to know the Iranian/Afghan songs we requested and was able to strike the perfect balance between those and American songs.

We also loved his idea of introducing the wedding party as a flash mob, which started the reception off on the right energy level. His sound system and lighting options fit our venue perfectly as well.

On the business-side, Vynce's pricing and contract were reasonable and easy to work with, which is a huge plus with all the moving parts during wedding planning.

THE BEST DJ - HANDS DOWN. From the first phone call to the end of the wedding, Vynce was incredible to work with - professional, experienced, and personable. He provided us with guidance and ideas regarding music, lighting and the flow of the wedding - while also letting us make the wedding our own. Everyone was obsessed with our wedding party flash mob (idea provided by Vynce!), our hora (mix provided by Vynce!), the fact that we danced before everyone sat down for dinner, and all of the music played throughout the reception. We hired Vynce for our wedding September 2017, he did our music and we did string lighting through him as well. It was an outdoor wedding. From start to finish, Vynce is excellent at communication. We had vynce do many things for our wedding, including playing songs during the ceremony, helping with mics for readings and singing and instruments, he helped coordinate events during our reception and everything ran smoothly from speeches to first dances, to singing a UW alumni song late night! He also did a mash-up of several songs for our first dance. Our dance floor was packed all night, and the music was fun and fitting for our diverse group. When we met Vynce we knew almost right away that he was going to be the perfect DJ for us. He was friendly, professional, very quick to respond to emails and answer questions, and very open to playing all of the music that we wanted on our big day. We had a unique set-up with a couple of different locations where we wanted music and he was very accommodating and gave us exactly what we wanted. We received so many compliments from wedding guests about how fun our wedding was because Vynce made sure to keep the dance floor packed the entire night! He also made the ballroom look amazing with his lighting equipment. We had the best time at our wedding and we have Vynce to thank for throwing such a fun party. Thank you for everything Vynce!!

My husband and I had our wedding on 8/12 at Twin Oaks House & Gardens. When we signed our contract for the venue we were given a list of preferred DJ's to choose from. We were ovwehlemed by the choices, how in the world do you know which DJ is the right one for you? Music, dancing and giving our guests a great party was at the top of our priority list and we didn't want to mess that up. With that, we set up a number of interviews over the phone with DJ's. I can say in complete honesty, when we hung up the phone with Vynce we both looked at each other and said "That's our guy." Vynce has a persona and attitude about him that makes you feel comfortable and confident in his abilities from the get go. Not only did he work with our other vendors (ceremony music, videography, etc) but he provided input when we asked for suggestions about timelines, entrances, etc. Vynce had by the far the quickest response time of any vendor we used (within minutes-hours) which was such a stress relief when we had a question. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his craft and that was evident in all aspects of working with Vynce. As for the wedding day itself, Vynce started the party and kept it going the entire night. Our dance floor was always full, he followed our must plays, don't plays and used our suggested song list to play just the right songs at the right times. He was right on cue with all announcements we asked for and gave us a truly flawless night. Vynce, THANK YOU for making our night everything we had hoped and imagined. I would without any hesitation recommend Vynce to anyone looking for a DJ in the future!

My husband and I knew that the DJ would be one of the most important vendors for our wedding. We wanted a fun vibe and Vynce delivered just that! Vynce used a mixture of songs from our list as well as what he thought worked best with our crowd. He did a great job at keeping the party going all night. Vynce did music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He was perfectly able to capture the sounds that we wanted for each part of the wedding. We knew from the moment that we met him, we wanted him to DJ our wedding. Throughout the year leading up to the wedding, Vynce was always quick to respond to emails and any questions that we had. He also had a great idea to bring in our wedding party, which was like a flash mob. It was a lot of fun! The wedding party and wedding guests all loved it. We are both so happy with our decision to hire Vynce. We 100% recommend his amazing DJ skills to anyone who is looking for a quality DJ!

You should absolutely hire Vynce Pham now! From the start, he put us at ease with the clarity of his vision for how to create the right moods at the right times during our wedding. Leading up to our big day at Twin Oaks Garden Estate in San Marcos, we were confident that “DJ Phreek” would help us make our wedding the best party ever and he certainly didn’t disappoint. The playlist flowed seamlessly and it was obvious that Vynce responded to the crowd, so that the dance floor was never empty and our reception had exactly the energy we wanted. All in all, it was A+ work! We had a BLAST. Thanks for everything, Vynce!
