Excellent service, so easy to work with and helped make the wedding reception amazingly fun! Have attended other weddings where Don was the DJ and Master of Ceremonies. He does not disappoint. He personalizes the the music and style to each couple.

The Photo booth they created went so well with the Wedding Venue Theme...It was perfect...Guests had so much fun at the photo booth. so happy my daughter and son-in-law decided to have this e part of their wedding activities. Great memories were created.

Music, Memories and More were beyond personal and willing to accommodate to our personal wishes to make our special wedding day as memorable as possible.
Being a young couple paying for majority of this event with limited finance made it difficult, but with MMM they had the experience and ideas to incorporate as much event production with as low of cost as was possible.
Our meetings with them were open, and they were always accessible when we had ideas that came up and called them out of our scheduled appointments.
They were very organized and were able to help us visualize how the event could best work with how our venue was going to be set up.

We plan to continue using them not just for large events, but for small celebrations in the future. They are great!

Don was a gracious, professional, timely, sincere, funny and caring DJ to have emcee our fundraiser! Don wanted to know the theme of our event as well as music preferred, his selection was spot on. Our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour with fun background music and Don did a wonderful job at keeping the evening flowing.
I'd without hesitation recommend Don for any occasion, he clearly knows his business and clients because of his extensive background in the industry.

When booking a DJ for our wedding/reception we really wanted someone who could throw a party – more of a “real” DJ than a “Wedding DJ”. We came across Don Henry of Music Memories & More on Thumbtack. After our initial consultation over the phone and in person meeting I was sold – this guy “gets it”; he understood our vision for the day and the flow of the party we were going for. Don is definitely a highly experienced professional, and worth every penny. He was happy to work with our budget, and build a custom package for us. The great thing about using Music Memories and More/Groove Factor Entertainment is that they are a full service production company and have thrown some crazy parties. We decided to use them as a one stop shop for all of our lighting and audio so it would all sync together for one wild party. We also used their photobooth as well! Don has a great calm demeanor, and you can tell his confidence is because he has done this quite a few times before. The wedding guests loved him and all of his interactions were occasion appropriate. He knew how to handle our guests and really managed the flow of the party from start to finish. His team did an excellent job of setting everything up, and we couldn’t have been happier with how things went. We highly recommend Don and his team for any event you might plan! Thanks Don!!!

Don and his staff were great. This was not the typical wedding , we had other entertaiment and many family members did readings at our wedding, Don showed leadership and handled everything that happened. It was perfect.
I was very very happy, and will use them again , when our children get married.
This was a second marriage and a we have both young and older crowd. Music was for both.
Again Great job Don Henry and his team

Amazing company, amazing staff. I have booked Don for several events during the past 5 years; from Dj, draping, lighting,projections, etc. Always amazed and completely satisfied with the finishing product of his amazing team. I would highly suggest this company for your next event.

Don and his team at Music Memories & More have DJed the No Worries Now Prom for teens with life-threatening illnesses in LA, San Francisco, and Sacramento for many years, and I can say (in no uncertain terms) that these are the most wonderful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Don is talented, professional, creative, reliable, generous, dynamic, and an all-around awesome guy. The production value of a Music Memories & More event is absolutely unbelievable -- I am somehow more impressed and delighted every year. Their equipment is top-of-the-line, their music is off the hook, their energy is infectious, and they have that je ne sais quoi that turns a gathering into a party -- I guess that's the "More" in their name! We have made so many priceless memories thanks to Don, and I cannot emphasize enough that this is the company to call if you want a magical night to remember, too.

Having my muliracial family and friend wedding, this DJ knew the right music to get everyone on the dancefloor, not for just one or two songs but all of them. Everyone enjoyed thw photobooth with my monogram on there. The lighting was perfect for my venue. He asked me what was I looking for as a theme for my wedding reception and cerrmony and I told him fancy but fun. He also conducted my reception and attended rehearsal with the given date. He also provided plasma TVs and projrctor screen that showed my photos with my new husband. Overall he was very understanding, open to whay I wanted and even helped with his own opinions without pressure, and most of all he delivered! I loved my wedding and it was very memorable, my brother booked him a year later!

We had our annual Dinner Dance & Auction Fundraiser for our elementary school and Music Memories and More ROCKED the party!! They played great music all night, including fantastic lighting, and kept the dance floor packed at the end of the night! They know how to read the crowd and play the right music to get everyone excited!! THANK YOU!!

I held an 18th Birthday Party for my daughter on November 3, 2013. Everything was great, but what made it fantastic for the youth and adults present was the music. The DJ was fantastic and the music was great. Everyone had such a wonderful time and they all were impressed with how the DJ coordinated the music with the crowd present. He just new what they liked and what worked. Thank you, I am so very thrilled by the experience and work ethic! We will definitely do business again I'm sure!

Don Henry was great! Because he did not have another reception to host, he gave us a free upgrade the night before and he was there to DJ and do the announcing the night of. He handled the announcing very professionally and did a great job of playing fun music and keeping it classy. It really was so fun! We played a game where he asked us questions and my husband and I were seated back to back and we had to hold up either our own shoe or the other person's to answer his questions. He asked such great questions. It was so funny! Everyone had a blast. I would recommend him to anyone for sure!

We could not have asked for a better MC/DJ for our wedding then Don Henry of Music Memories & More!! In the planning phases he was so quick to help us with fun ideas on how to keep the night fun and special. He was well prepared on the day of the wedding and everything could not have run smoother. AWESOME!!! The feedback from all my guests is the best measure of how good the event was and some of their responses were ......that they had " a bucket load of fun" , "it was really great", "it was an event to remember" and "it was amazing!" There was never a dull moment, everyone was dancing and having a great, great time. The event was solemn at times and lively the next. The key here was Don's expertise and perfect timing as far as following the flow of the program, picking what music to play, feeling and anticipating on what the guests wanted to hear, also quick in responding to what the crowd wanted to dance to and the continuous communication and support with me, the host. The energy was high and yet maintained a classy atmosphere. The well staged lighting contributed a lot to the energy and ambience of the ballroom. The visuals and props were arranged safely away from the dance floor , facing the guests on both sides of the room that they all were able to view the pictures. The batch of pictures I submitted to Don were turned into a memoir , complete with musical background. I wasn't expecting it to be this nice. This touched my heart and the hearts of alot of my guests. Don, his wife and staff were very professional, prompt , kind and very supportive. All these were key to making it one of the most unforgettable events in mine and all my guests' lives and for that I am so so grateful. I am looking forward to having my youngest daughter's debut in 4 years time and having Don and his staff ( Music , Memories & More) to once again DJ for me since I know, it will be another great and unforgettable event. Thank you so much Don, to your wife and to all your staff and may the good Lord bless your generous spirit and good heart a hundredfold.

Don and Taralyn are AMAZING! They helped move the entire event along our timeline, plus they were in tune with the pulse of the group and guided the festivities in new directions before anyone lost interest. Music Memories & More Custom Events did everything perfectly! The music they played reflected the taste of my husband and me, and it set the mood that we were hoping to have at our reception. Wedding guests loved dancing to the music, and they do a great job of going off the vibe and energy of the wedding guests. They were so easy to work with and did everything we asked. They're prices are great and the DJs are very friendly and personable with the wedding guests. Definitely recommending them to family and friends for all types of events!

Any entertainment company that can get every kid on the dance floor at a Sweet 16 party is an A+ in my book. Not only was every kid on the dance floor but they stayed there till the end of the party. Even after the lights came on and the cleaning crew started clearing, kids were still wanting to dance. Music Memories and More has the incredible ability to read the crowd and match their musical tastes. Every song was a hit. They really set the vibe of the party. As an event planner I want every party I put together to be memorable and talked about long after its over. Music Memories and More helps me come out looking like a hero.

DON HENRY IS AMAZING!!

I have already written one review but I couldn't help myself, I had to write another. My best friend switched her room a few days before the wedding. The room was extremley different from the other. Don Henry accommodated her changes without any issues! He gave her a brand new quote that was very fair and below industry standards. On the day of the wedding we were all very shocked to see how beautiful he made the room look. It exceeded ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS. This company was AMAZING to work with. I highly recommend them for your special day!

I just recently selected Don Henry to do the lighting for my best friend's wedding based off of his positivity and professionalism during his initial survey. He understood that I'm helping plan a very cost conscious wedding and gave me helpful cost saving ideas. He made me comfortable and confident that everything would go smoothly and exactly as planned. He didn't rush me through the selection process and was happy to answer any questions that I had. To top things off his quote was 45% less then the 10 other vendors I contacted! I saw a photo of my venue that they had swaged from a previous event on their website and had to have it! They did a wonderful job for my reception. I truly believe that their staff can do anything your heart can dream of. What a wonderful company to work with! Taralyn is awesome & creative, Don and his staff worked hard the day before my event.

We had an amazing time at our wedding. Don Henry and his staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make everything perfect for us. They took the time to meet with us to go over all the details, which helped the event flow very smoothly. They were accommodating to our last minute requests as well. They dressed to impress, were on time and gave a great rate. We also used their lounge furniture (couches, tables, pillows), which they covered to match our colors. The set-up of the lounge really added to the feel of our reception. The experienced DJ was an awesome emcee who kept my time schedule and was loved by our guests. We wish the dancing part of our evening would have never ended. The dance floor was never empty, mostly due to the quality of the DJ.

Don Henry was an incredible DJ. He provided the perfect atmosphere that we wanted for our wedding. He was very thorough (as he asked what music we wanted during the reception line, the cake cutting, the bouquest toss, etc.) and extremely helpful in offering suggestions. He is also very personable and easy and fun to work with. Overall, I was very much impressed.

FANTASTIC CREW! I have been to enough weddings/receptions and events to know that the right DJ makes all the difference. Their name says it all. they customized and were so accommodating. He met with us to discus the feel that we wanted at our wedding and he also had some great suggestions. More than anything we told him about some of the songs we wanted, the group that would come and he helped fill in any gaps. As we mentioned a few songs that were dear to us he checked his inventory and was able to purchase any version of any of the song we wanted and it all turned out so perfect. The my absolute favorite part of the whole reception was having everyone enjoy dacing to the music. He totally set the perfect Atmosphere.

Originally I wasn't gonna have a dj, I was just gonna let my mac to it for me. 3 days b4, my harddrive crashes. I waited til the day b4 to try and find a dj. And these guys saved my butt!! Music was awesome, they played what we ask for, dj was awesome, sound quality was great, and they even threw in some lighting! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a dj

The only negative comment I have is that at times the music was so loud, people complained because they felt like they were yelling over the music. Other than that, i think everyone had a great time. It was well done, timing was perfect, it kept people there and the flow of the night was so smooth and seamless. Thanks for meeting on such short notice and pulling off such a wonderful event. Also, thanks for going the extra mile and taking stuff to our house...that was such a HUGE help. Cindy

These guys truly are the best! They mapped the whole day out for me so I was completely comfortable and didn't have to worry about a thing! So many of our guests have approached me to ask how they can book them for their own wedding! We had Don Henry at our wedding and were very pleased. We are both teachers and use MMM for our school dances as well. Don kept the party going and did a great job with the announcements and everything else. Having a bad DJ can really sour an event, so to make sure that happens hire a real pro like Don and the rest at MMM.

I worked with Don Henry for the lighting on my reception room. I was shopping around for a few different lighting companies for the job, but once I met Don, I instantly knew he was the one! He was kind, accommodating and very professional. He went above and beyond to make the room look amazing! He was very knowledgable on what would look good with the size of room we had and the final result was better than what I could have imagined! I will most definitely recommend this company to others! Don Henry was a very enjoyable DJ. He was very professional and committed to fulfilling our every request. He played a variety of music which appealed to our diverse crowd ranging in age from 3-80 years old. I saw people get up and dance that I had never seen before. Everybody enjoyed it and later told us it was the best time they had in years.

There was a miscommunication. I thought that the dj would be there at dinner to play background music. We chose music and dedications to be played during this time, just to find out that was not the deal. It was amazing we thoroughly enjoyed it but wound have been nice if there was at least a disco ball. I danced so much I could hardly walk the next day. Denise had a blast.
