Kept the party going all night long!!!

Corey was extremely nice and easy to talk to. We used Corey for our ceremony and reception and everything went perfect. He made sure we had a complete timeline of songs we loved and nailed the song choices when I told him the genres we wanted to hear. He got everyone up to the dance floor and we had the time of our life dancing all night long! I would definitely recommend Music in Motion!

Best DJ in Knoxville!

Not only is Corey the best DJ in Knoxville, but he is one of the best all-around southern gents you will meet in your lifetime! After researching wedding DJs in Knoxville, we knew that we had to book Corey for our wedding. He met with us initially and then again a few short weeks before the wedding. He listened to our requests and made sure to play songs that fit our "vibe". He also knew how to work the dance floor and get guests out there. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Our guests are still raving about the open dancing at our reception. Would 10/10 recommend Corey for any event! -The Mitchells 05.01.21

I had such a wonderful experience with Corey! He is so professional and knows what he is doing. I got many compliments from my guests on his music choices, and he took my requests very seriously. So glad we went with Music in Motion!

Corey at Music in Motion was amazing. Not only was he knowledgeable, responsive and worked with us to plan everything before the wedding, but he executed everything beautifully on the day of the wedding. We got so many compliments on the music and people were on the dance floor all night. He also was instrumental in moving the reception along and keeping everything on track. We recommend Music in Motion to anyone who needs a DJ in Knoxville!

One of our favorite vendors absolutely hire him!

We had heard good things about Music in Motion when we first started planning. Lots of other vendors mentioned him early on when we didn't have a DJ yet, so we went with their recommendations. We absolutely made the right choice! Corey was so funny and personal with us, we really could tell he cared about us enjoying ourselves on our wedding day. He even noticed when we passed on sunset photos to finish greeting all our guests and let us know there was a quick opportunity for us when he was preparing for the toasts. Every song he played was perfectly chosen like he knew our guests personally and our dance floor was packed. I could not have asked for a better DJ on our wedding day.

Excellent job with both my ceremony and reception!

These guys are great! Corey was in contact with me from beginning to end, quick responses and always answered my 100 questions! Had a very informative meeting with Corey prior to the wedding and he made sure all our questions were answered, made sure the entire day was planned down to the song. Day of went very well. There was a slight issue when the coordinator had to ask me to signal the DJ when I wanted him to cut the uncle/niece song even though this was specified in the meeting, but other than that everyone really enjoyed themselves and the music. Andrew was the man behind the music, and Brian Creason (a friend and previous employee of MiM) did a fabulous job as our MC. I would definitely recommend them!

Joey adapted to everything that was thrown at him. He was wonderful and helped play a role in our day. I would recommend him again and again. When thinking of different songs to play we were really struggling, but he helped us and gaged what we like and made it happen. I’m so thankful for him.

Awesome time from start to finish!

Did well with non American Wedding traditions and sudden bouts of unplanned group karaoke.

Handles everything like a pro despite apparently being yelled at by one of my bridesmaids for something that was totally not his fault! I apologized after finding out and he was totally calm and understood.

If you read my review and just beginning your wedding planning ask him who my day of coordinator was because they make a 10 star team!

Corey was so professional and did an excellent job as our wedding DJ. He was very flexible with a couple of last-minute song and itinerary changes, and checked in with us throughout the reception to make sure everything was going well. He played some great dance music that got our party going well into the night. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Corey was WONDERFUL! He included all of the details that we discussed in our various emails and phone calls to make sure we had the perfect timeline and soundtrack for our wedding day. Corey and Tara were amazing!! Corey sat with us for hours putting together music, a timeline of the entire ceremony and reception, gave suggestions on numerous things, and was so helpful throughout everything. A DJ seriously can make a wedding and ours was perfect. People had fun and were dancing the entire evening, music was amazing. I would strongly recommend music in motion to anyone who needs a DJ. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

Corey did a phenomenal job as our DJ on October 2, 2015. We couldn't have been happier! We opted to do the roast of the wedding party at the reception, which everyone thought was so fun and unique. Corey knows how to get the party started for sure!

We had Music In Motion provide the Ceremony Music and Mics, Reception Music, as well as Lighting. Corey was more than a pro and was a great asset as part of the team that made our Wedding Perfect. The quality of the sound was unbelievable and there was never any point where our guests felt like they were in a poor location. Hiring the perfect DJ goes far beyond playing music. We spent many hours researching, communicating, and pricing other DJs. But Corey was our guy. He is not only great at what he does, but the organization was Excellent. It kept our day smooth and stress free and we would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!!

Music in motion is hands down the best DJ service around. We had Corey DJ our wedding reception and were completely satisfied. He even went as far as making my husband and I's dinner plate at our reception so we could go around to tables to talk with people while the dinner music was playing. They went above and beyond what we could ever have imagined and we are so glad we chose them to be a part of our reception. We also did a custom introduction by Greg Williams and EVERYONE LOVED it. It was so fun and hilarious and perfect!! Everything was so organized and on time and he made our night completely stress free!!! I would totally recommend them to anybody!!!

Music in Motion was fantastic! Our DJ was so great and he helped make our wedding perfect! Everyone was so easy to work with, they always responded quickly, and they clearly wanted to make our wedding perfect! We didn't want the standard music that usually gets played at weddings and our DJ worked with us and made sure that we had the music we wanted. It was absolutely perfect!

Corey was absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a better, easier to work with DJ. He knows what he is doing! He definitely made our reception memorable for all ages present and got everyone out on the dance floor. He is incredibly professional and after you discuss the songs you'd like (which he is happy to make suggestions that are excellent too) he takes it from there and you don't have to worry about a thing. We got so many compliments on the music and how superb the DJ was at our reception. I highly recommend him and will continue to mention him to friends and family for any and all future events.

Corey was such a treat to work with, and Greg and Tara absolutely ROCKED our wedding. The planning was simple, but the reward was exceptional! Greg's introduction was out of this world, we still crack up every time we watch our video. We had the best time, and wouldn't change a thing. If you want a full dance floor, this is the DJ for you!

Once again Music in Motion did a great job, this time on my wedding. I watched them multiple times at bridal shows, but never imagined how great. The intro was great, the father/daughter mix was to a tee. Corey was so easy to talk to and he had great options and options for our wedding plans. Greg and Tara were the two that actually worked our wedding and they did a great job keeping everything up beat and on tract. We had more complements on the music and DJ then anything else. The only complaint I think I have (and it is more on my part then anything) I would have like to speak with our DJ before the week of the wedding, not the week of the wedding. Otherwise this was a great crew to hire for the wedding!

Corey coordinated the music for our ceremony and was the DJ for our reception. He has a great personality and even got my grandparents to dance! They have been married for 58 years and no one has ever seen them dance together! He had some great ideas and advice that made sure our reception went smoothly and everyone had fun. He's been great about responding to emails, setting up meetings with us, and finding music for all of the random song requests that we had.

Corey and his wife Tara are absolutely wonderful. They provided the lighting and music for our ceremony. They made it fun and lively and kept it going. He was very helpful throughout the planning and we had a final meeting couple weeks before wedding to review everything. Always easy to get in touch with if needed. We love Corey so much! EVERYONE spoke highly of him and Tara when they DJ'd our wedding! He knows his stuff and knows how to keep the party going no matter the age group! His lighting is phenomenal, my venue was completely transformed and was exactly what I had envisioned in my head! Book these guys as your DJs! You won't be sorry!

Music in Motion was amazing, they loved our themed wedding and went above and beyond to make it fun. Because many of our friends and family oppose alcohol we were worried the dancing wouldn't go over well. Cory and his team did an amazing job to get everyone on their feet. They do amazing lighting as well. The barn was PERFECT. The best thing about them is you don't have to worry about a thing, they direct you through the whole wedding and reception all you do as the bride and groom is show up and have a ball, and you can not put a price on that (but they are crazy reasonable for the value and services they offer, and willing to travel!) I highly recommend them.

My husband and I married on December 1, 2012 in Oak Ridge, TN. I knew that I wanted Corey to be my wedding DJ and soon as I started planning. I had seen him DJ at a wedding a couple years prior. I remembered how much fun the wedding was and how much energy he brought to the entire crowd. When we met with Corey I was so impressed with his professionalism and passion for his career. He asked questions to get to know us as a couple and uncover our needs/wants for our special day. I left our initial meeting knowing that we had made a great decision in choosing Music in Motion.
I met with Corey a couple weeks before the wedding to go over final details. Those last few weeks of planning are so important but can be so stressful at the same time. Corey eliminated A LOT of stress by making song suggestions and creating a timeline for the reception. He was also very patient with me because there were still a couple things I was unsure of.
On the big day Corey and his wife Tara arrived in ample time to set up their equipment and the lighting for our venue (which looked awesome!!!). Our wedding was a winter wonderland so Corey did winter blue lighting. It definitely gave the room that WOW factor. Corey really mastered the timing of our reception. He made sure everything was done at the right time. He kept us and the other vendors informed and made sure we were ready before we did toasts, bouquet toss, group picture, etc. My family is now known as the nonstop dancing machines! This is all possible because of the great music Corey & Tara played. They honored our requests and kept our guests entertained. Overall, there is nothing more I could have asked for…except that our wedding reception never ended ;)

I loved my lighting and music! Corey did a fantastic job advising us on how to organize our events and the best way to light up the venue. He was also great at keeping the party moving. They were very responsive during the planning process and very patient while providing us with guidance on selecting songs. The custom introduction made by Greg was also a huge hit! It really set the tone for the reception and everyone loved how personal it was. We really felt like everyone involved was invested in getting to know us and making sure everything was perfect for us.

Corey and Tara were our DJ's for our New Years Eve wedding and we couldn't have been happier! They were essentially our reception coordinators and it took so much stress and pressure off of me. My husband and I have been married for 6 months now and we are still getting compliments on how much fun our reception was and how amazing our DJ's were! Their lighting was magical (and spooky!) and they played music and formatted the intros and flow exactly as we wanted it. Greg Williams was our main DJ, and he was so enthusiastic and kept our party movin' with lots of laughter. It was fabulous.

We were so happy we had Corey and his sweet wife at our wedding reception. I can't imagine a better DJ/lighting service. They were absolutely wonderful! Well worth every penny. I would definitely recommend them to a friend for any event.

Cory (business owner) was friendly and nice. He helped us get a package that was right for us and our venue. He also didn't sell us anything we didn't need. He has several DJs that works with him. The DJ he got for us was Ron. Ron is also friendly. He played everything on our list, music that our guests liked for our reception and even requested songs.

We couldn't have been more pleased with the excellent work of DJ Corey Goin at my daughter's wedding. The bride and groom were extremely pleased with Corey's professionalism and ability to keep things fun and exciting. From the time we entered the reception hall until the last song was played, Corey handled it all flawlessly. I can honestly say that Corey made our reception! He just seems to know how to keep everything running smoothly, has a great personality, and he totally got what we wanted for the reception. I would highly recommend Corey without reservation if you're looking for a great D.J. for any occasion.

Corey was amazing! He showed up early, played all the songs I selected for my ceremony & reception (even bought ones I wanted he didn't have). Was a great crowd pleaser, got everyone out of there seats & on the dance floor, had great ideas for entertaining-games, songs, etc. I would love to have him at any of my events in the future, 5 stars for sure!!!

Music In Motion is an excellent DJ company that covers the wedding day from all angles!! You need anything at all and they will go out of their way to do it for you. Did I mention they have an AMAZING COST!!! Very professional and organized!! Highly recommend for any wedding or special event!!!! They are not your ordinary wedding DJ. They go above and beyond to make sure every guest is having an excellent time!!!! Make sure to get the custom intro, you will not regret it!!

If I could give Corey 10/10 stars I would...there's not much I can say other than he helped us throw the party of our lives! We kept Corey working for 2 hours longer than we planned, and he kept the night running so smoothly. All of our guests loved the music, every single picture has people not only dancing but singing as well! Hire Music in Motion for sure!

We had the BEST time at our wedding and so did our guests, thanks to Music in Motion!!!!!! Corey and Tara were able to get EVERYONE out on the dance floor (even my dad who NEVER dances)!!!! They are not just your everyday, mediocre, corny DJ who presses play on their playlist and sits back the entire night. They worked really hard to make our reception unique and special. Music in Motion provided uplighting, a special entrance with a voice over, games, etc. I was amazed at how in tune they were with our guests. They adapted their music selection to appeal to everyone at our reception. We have constantly received compliments from our family and friends about what a great time they had at our wedding and how it was the most fun they have ever had at a reception! Mission accomplished...thanks to Music in Motion!! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a FUN wedding. They are so easy to work with. They were worth every penny plus some!

I would give Music in Motion more than 5 stars if I could. They have to be the best wedding DJ in Tennessee. They are great to work with and have the best ideas. We wanted our reception to be fun and entertaining and that is exactly with DJ Corey gave us. Everyone LOVED our customed introduction! The uplighting was beautiful and was the perfect finishing touch to the room. Our wedding day would not have been as awesome as it was without Music in Motion. I would HIGHLY recommend using Music in Motion for your wedding or any other event!

Frankly, I loved Corey. It appeared at the time that we booked him that he was starting to get more into the wedding world; he added new lighting and sound equipment for our wedding and everything turned out fantastic. Our cost was very minimal compared to other companies.

He came 5 hours early to set everything up at the reception. The lights were beautiful, the dance floor was fun, and he kept our guests entertained. He helped us decide the order of the events at the reception and it kept the tempo alive! We had a TON of people that stayed until the end. I would recommend him to anyone!

Corey was such an amazing asset to our wedding reception! From start to finish, he was a professional, and had such a vision for our reception. On the day of the wedding, he kept us organized and kept the reception moving forward, while always ensuring that everyone was involved and had a GREAT time! Corey was great. He provided exactly the kind of atmosphere we asked for - one that would make the party fun for everyone from Grandma to our friends. He knows exactly what he is doing and will talk your ear off about it but it displays his passion for his job. Both the music and the uplighting were well worth it!

Cory, our DJ, was fantastic with our reception. There was a misunderstanding with our plans for using the DJ in our ceremony room and reception room (two separate buildings), and he only brought equipment to be used in one room. In spite of that, he fortunately brought his edited copy of the cd for the music and we had a cd player and the wedding went fine. At the reception, his expertise in the timing of the order of events in a reception room was very helpful in keeping our guests entertained and staying, instead of eat and go. I'd recommend him for any events.
