We ordered a mini dessert platter for our wedding from Muscoreil’s and all of the desserts tasted so good! The whole process was very easy through ordering some to try, all the way through pick up on the wedding day.

June 2024 Wedding
Our experience with Muscoreil’s Fine Desserts was great, all details were meticulously handled to perfection. We actually had to plan our wedding in Buffalo from Texas. So when selecting a cake vendor we did a lot of reviews online from pictures to reading tons of reviews. We narrowed our search down to a handful of potential options and scheduled calls with each of them.
Phil from Muscoreil’s really made the decision easy. He was very flexible in times to contact him and was very responsive and patient with us as we were trying to make decisions on the cake from half a country away. He explained many different options with us and very quickly sketched up some options for us to consider.
Phil then took the initiative to call several weeks prior to the wedding to finalize the design and flavors and told us he would be there on the wedding day. Unfortunately, I never got to meet Phil, I was out with the photographer taking pictures when he arrived, but he was early and worked with the florist to put on fresh flowers and set up the three tier cake on the table for cutting. The first time we saw the cake is when we went up for the cutting, and it was perfect; the final design exceeded our expectations and looked better than any of the pictures and references we had reviewed. We decided on the almond cake with raspberry swirl, but never got to try it prior to the wedding. So, the first taste was after cutting, and it tasked amazing. Many times you cannot get the flavor of almond, but this came through, and the filling did not overwhelm the cake, it is was just a nice subtle flavor profile.
My uncle actually told me after the wedding that he knew the cake was going to be great after we cut it, because I went back in for multiple bites after the cutting!!
I was very nervous about buying a wedding cake without ever seeing the bakery, tasking a sample, or knowing what their performance was like. Phil and Muscoreil’s significantly exceeded all of my expectations. We are truly grateful to them for being so professional, helping us from another city, and over delivering on their promises. If you want a smooth process and great vendor to work with who over delivers on your expectations, then Muscoreil’s is the baker you should choose!

This was the perfect choice for us! Phil was incredibly responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The cake tasted fantastic and people said nothing but good things. Also, great gluten free cupcake add-on options to make sure you are not alienating any guests. Not to mention the cake tasting months before the big day when we were doing our "due diligence" was everything!

We met with Phil for our consultation; he did a wonderful job explaining the available options and the samples provided were accurate to what we got the day of the wedding. Our Dream Wedding Cake!
Muscoreils Fine Desserts created an absolute masterpiece for our wedding cake! We set up an appointment for cake testing testing and explained our vision to the bakery. Not only was our wedding cake stunning to look at and take photos of, it was the most delicious cake I have ever tasted! We chose almond cake with almond buttercream frosting. The attention to detail was truly exquisite. We very much enjoyed sharing the cake with our family and friends and it was so delicious there was none left over to freeze! We will be visiting Muscoreils Fine Desserts on our anniversary each year to celebrate with treats. Thank you for bringing our vision to life, it was truly breathtaking!

Wonderful cake!
We went with two flavors of cake (white with strawberry filling and vanilla frosting, and marble with chocolate chip filling and vanilla frosting). They were both so tasty! Phil was incredibly helpful during the planning process. We didn’t really have a vision for our cake, so he basically designed it for us during our consultation. He also coordinated with our florist on the cake flowers. The decorator did a beautiful job mimicking the lace patterns from my dress, and it looked so amazing in our venue on the day. The cost was also very reasonable for the number of servings that we ordered.

We met with Muscoreils once before our actual wedding day for our cake tasting and to solidify our order. They were so easy to work with, the cake was delicious and so beautiful!! Amazing Wedding Cake
My husband and I chose Muscoreil’s to create our wedding cake and it looked and tasted amazing. We met with Phil for a consultation which included tasting a variety of cake/filling combinations, sketching out some design ideas, and getting an estimate. Since we were planning from out of town, we appreciated that they took payment by credit card over the phone instead of requiring cash or check. Sometimes it was hard to get through on the phone, and even though they were busy, the personnel were always friendly and helpful. On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered to our venue on time and they placed the provided florals perfectly.

Absolutely delicious - every single person at our 200 count wedding loved the cake. We didn’t have any left by the end of the night, some people even had 2 pieces of cake each! They’re also wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

My family has been getting cakes and desserts from Muscoreil's for years! Always delicious! Always professional!
As things were beginning to shut down again with the COVID pandemic going into a second wave I was so nervous we would have to cancel all of our wedding plans. We had to make some last minute changes BUT were blessed not to have to cancel everything. Muscoreil's delivered on time and provided slices of our cake (pre-boxed!) for our guests to take. I was so happy with our wedding cake!!

Best wedding cake ever!
The bakery was in top of all our changes due to covid we had to reschedule twice abs change the venue once. On our wedding day the owner personally delivery the cake and set it up. It was beautiful and tasted amazing! A little piece of heaven.

Muscoriels has been a staple in our family for any special events we need desserts for. For many many years. They were easy to work with and delivered the perfect simple white cake for us along with sheet cakes and lemon bars for my dessert table. Great Option for Weddings!
We chose Muscoreil’s Fine Desserts as the vendor for our wedding at HayLoft in the Grove. The entire planning process from initial tasting to delivery and more tasting was fantastic! We worked with Paul at their main office who made this entire process very simplistic. We chose a 6” cake for ourselves and then opted for cupcakes for our guests which was a huge hit. Our cake was a chocolate raspberry ganache with a schmear frosting all round. Cupcakes were pumpkin spice with buttercream frosting, we also did plain vanilla / vanilla for those basic needs as well as almond with raspberry frosting. Everything was fantastic and presented very well! Highly recommended!

Wonderful Tasting Experience
We had such a great tasting experience with Phil. He was so interested in the cake design ideas and was even open to trying new flavors that the shop doesn't usually have. Meeting with him made me so excited for the wedding! All the cake flavors are delicious and the buttercream is great, and I don't usually like that type of icing. Muscoreil’s has the best reputation when it comes to wedding cakes in Buffalo NY, so it was no question who would be making our cake once we got engaged! Phil was our contact person and he was so easy to work with from start to finish. He sat down with us twice and helped us design the exact cake we were looking for. He was professional, kind, and patient! We loved that they provided “tastings” at each of our sit down meetings. The cake turned out exactly as we imagined and it tasted delicious! Muscoreil’s also provided 6 gluten free cupcakes for our GF guests (including myself) and they were beyond amazing. You cannot go wrong when you order from Muscoreil’s!

Musoreil's was wonderful for our wedding cake. Phil was great and went over a lot of ideas with us. We wanted something simple and elegant. Their pricing was also very reasonable. Our cake turned out beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with it! I had a vegan bridesmaid, so we ordered her vegan cupcakes and she said they were the best she ever had. Muscoreil's blew us away! They are THE name in wedding cakes around Buffalo, and we now know it's for good reason! Because they have the reputation of being the best cakes in Buffalo, we didn't think they would be in our price range. We were happy to find that they were very reasonably priced, and excited about our ideas when other places were hesitant. Not only did the cake taste incredible (marble cake with chocolate chip filling.... YUM!), it looked absolutely beautiful - exactly what we envisioned down to the smallest detail. They worked seamlessly with our florist to put fresh flowers on our cake, and came to the venue to make sure everything was set up perfectly. We can't wait to eat our complimentary 1-year anniversary cake, and we will look for excuses to order cake from them in the future!

This was the most fun part of wedding planning! as Future mother in law and father in law we went with the bride and groom to pick out cake and they made us feel welcome! Tasting the wonderful selections was a difficult decision but their professionalism helped us choose! They are great at following pinterest inspirations! We met with Phil at Muscoreils, almost a year before our wedding, so about 2018. We sat down in a comfortable little room, and had such a great consultation! He was so attentive and respectful when it came to throwing out our ideas, and he really helped with all the small details. Phil had the wonderful idea to send in a picture or a scrap of my dress so that they could recreate the lace onto the cake. I fell in love with the cake when I saw it! It was so beautiful and so much more than what I had imagined!!

Best Cassata Cake
I knew when I got married that I wanted cassata cake. Muscoreil's has the best in town and were so accommodating. They even helped to customize our filling for our guests. I can't wait to eat our cake at our 1 year anniversary!

Muscoreil's provided a beautiful cake for my wedding day. It was just what we asked for and turned out exactly how we envisioned. They even arranged the flowers on top of the cake. I received numerous compliments through out the night on the cake and I made sure everyone knew it was Muscoreil's! Not only was the cake delicious and beautiful, the staff at Muscoreil's was super easy to work with and gave me no worries on the day of the wedding. They were on time and set the cake up without us even know or having to worries about it. Everything was perfect! Definitely use Muscoreil's without hesitation!

Dessert for days!
Muscoreil’s has been our choice for every birthday, christening, and graduation. So to have them for our wedding was an obvious choice. The buttercream is always delicious, and the cake itself was exactly what we had described to the team. Thank god they packed away the top tier of our cake for us! And we are so excited for our one-year anniversary when they recreate it for us at no charge to us!

Tasty and Beautiful Cake
I live in Michigan and the day I was visiting the area I didn't have time to setup a time to meet for a cake tasting. I stopped by the location and purchased some cake slices they had for sell. They were DELICIOUS! After speaking to them about their prices which I believed to be fair I picked them to make my wedding cake. I was able to communicate with them via email and email them the picture how I wanted my cake to look. The cake looked exactly as I wanted and tasted even better.

Very Professional - Delicious Cake
This was our third bakery we met with and by far the best in all areas - professionalism, moist delicious cake, quality fillings at no extra charge (not just frosting between layers but actual fruit purees and gnache, very knowledgeable. We got to try actual cake slices made with different fillings, not just dried out cupcakes like previous appointment. We booked them on the spot. Very happy.

Most beautiful cake imaginable!
AMAZING is all we can say about our wedding cake, a true piece of ART! From the time we sat down with Phil to do our tasting to the design to the delivery, Muscoreil's went above and beyond. We had a special design in mind and to say they hit it out of the ballpark is a understatement. When we saw our actual cake at the reception, WOW!!!!! The amount of detail and precision--far exceeded our expectation! I found a cake design on Pintrest and wanted to add a silhouette our venue, The Tonawanda Castle in place of the Disney Castle--Again WOW!!!! The detail was incredible. The cake (all 3 flavors) were outstanding. We had enough cake to feed about 300 people and our head count was 175 and literally we had no cake left. EVERYONE loved it and said it was the best cake ever. Thank you Phil and your staff for an amazing design and delicious cake and memory! we can't wait for our anniversary cake top in 11 months!

A great experience
We were so pleased with our wedding cake! We were walked through the process of how big to make it etc, at our initial meeting. We were able to taste the most popular flavors during our tasting. I brought images of cakes I liked with me, and was able to tell them what I liked about each one to make our perfect cake. I am so happy we chose Muscoreils!

Delicious and Beautiful Cakes!
My husband and I got married August 24, 2018 and choosing a wedding cake bakery was one of the first decision we made and one that my husband was very invested in doing! When we went in for our firs consultation, I had a vague idea of what I wanted it to look and all my husband wanted was for it to be big. Dave took all of our ideas and put them together, sketching the cake of my dreams and big enough to make my husband happy! Dave also helped us make decision, based on his expertise on how many flavors and how to handle using the cake as our main dessert. We chose to have half white almond cake with raspberry filling and half lemon cake with blueberry filling and they were both delicious not just according to us but to every guest we had!! Thanks to them, our cake was both beautiful and absolutely delicious.

Great Experience, even better cake
My husband and I had our wedding on 10.20.18. We met with the staff at Muscoreils about a year before our wedding and it was such a great experience! The gentleman that we met with was so great to work with and really made this an enjoyable experience. He asked questions to understand what we were looking for and sketched out the design while we sampled different options. When I saw that cake at the reception, it was exactly what I envisioned. Our guests could not stop raving about the cake, although we had no doubt that they would!

This place is phenomenal! The owner sat with us and helped us with our design until it was exactly what we wanted at made great recommendations along the way. And the cake itself - SO GOOD!!! Hands down the best cake I’ve ever had at a wedding! Plus they make you the top layer on your one year anniversary so you don’t have to eat cake that’s been sitting in your freezer for a year!

I had the absolute best time meeting with Phil who could read my mind on my visions and what types of cakes I wanted. He created beautiful sketches and the cakes came out even better than the sketches (I didn't even think that could be possible-they also tasted as good as they looked!). I wish every vendor we had for our wedding was as on point, easy to work with and as awesome as Phil! Aside from me having to call to see where my cake was right before I walked down the isle (they were late), everything else was perfect. I had a vision and they (Phil) immediately drew up a design that was exactly what I imagined and the real thing came out even better. We chose the raspberry ganache and it was wonderful. Our neighbors were begging us to help with the leftovers the next day. The best part is, you don’t have to freeze the top layer (you can eat it with your neighbors) because they provide a free anniversary cake when the time comes. We can’t wait! I would also like to mention that our venue had cookies, pastries, etc as part of our package from here that were also to die for.

I had Muscoreil's provide my wedding cake and they did a phenomenal job. I met with them once several months before the wedding and they were able to create the exact cake that I wanted and even included decorations matching the lace of my dress. They also coordinated with my florist so that there would be flowers cascading up the cake. They created a masterpiece and the cake was delicious!!! I would definitely recommend Muscoreil's in the future!!

We ordered a small 6” cake for cutting, 200 cupcakes (5 different kinds) and a couple of pastry trays for the reception. All were amazing!! Guests absolutely loved the cupcakes! They just did our wedding last night at the Tonawanda Castle and it was an incredible night. We first contacted them several months ago about DJing the event because not only do they have a great reputation, they were familiar with the space having done many events there in the past. From the start, and through most of the process, I was in contact with Dan, who made me comfortable from the first correspondence all the way through until we started working with our DJ, answering every question we had throughly and promptly. Our DJ Tony was absolutely amazing. He was so easy to work with and when we met him for the first time I felt like we had known him forever. He was so genuinely excited to be working our event and took great care to make sure everything was correct. The night of the event was amazing. Tony created such a great atmosphere, everyone was dancing and having a great time. Really professional, fun, great company.

Dave is a master when it comes to designing and creating wedding cakes! It was not a question who we would use for our wedding two weeks ago. His consultation to design the cake was friendly and very in depth to get the exact feel we were looking for. Dave was so insanely patient and helpful, not to mention kind and easy to work with. He walked us through so many decisions regarding wedding cake design that I never even considered. I obviously knew what the concept for our cake was prior to our wedding and what it would relatively look like but it was still one of the things I was super excited to see on our wedding day. Muscoreil's did not disappoint! I literally gasped when I walked into our venue and first saw it. And as beautiful as it looked, the only thing that outshined the design was the flavor! We went with the chocolate ganache, the carrot cake, the cassata cake, the classic white almond raspberry they are famous for, and white almond with strawberry for our top layer. Muscoreil's is just the cream of the crop when it comes to cakes in Buffalo.

Dave at Muscoreils was amazing! We met with Dave in our tasting meeting and were able to taste test a variety of delicious cakes. I came with a few pictures of cakes that I liked but didn't have a design exactly planned out. Dave sketched our entire cake and had other examples in the room for us to look at to help us make decisions. After putting our deposit down, we met with him one other time about two weeks before the wedding and he re-sketched the design to make sure I didn't change my mind about anything. Dave was so easy to work with, was extremely accommodating and delivered the cake perfectly. He even surprised me the day of and worked with my venue coordinator and made the cupcake display extra special by placing a massive "B" at the top to give it that extra little touch to make it look amazing. The cupcakes were super moist but the frosting was the best. The smaller cake we cut into was perfect and beautifully decorated as well!! I would recommend Muscoreils to any bride getting married in the Buffalo area!! Thank you Dave!!

Our wedding was 6/25/17, yes...a Sunday. We planned our cake with Dave. We didn't really have any idea what we wanted. Dave walked us through the whole process and the end result was one of the most beautiful wedding cakes that I have ever seen!! I didn't even want to cut it, it was so pretty!
Muscorells has Sunday delivery, while other vendors do not.
It was just a perfect experience from start to finish and I thank all of the staff at Muscorells for my beautiful cake!!

I would highly recommend getting your wedding cake, or any other cake/dessert for that matter from Muscoriels. Their desserts are amazing and they provide excellent service. They are very easy to work with, are reasonably priced, and their quality and attention to detail is top notch! Go see Dave, you will not be disappointed!

We met with Dave to have our cake tasting and talk through details a few months before our wedding. I kind of knew what I envisioned but wasn't even sure how to explain it. As we were talking he was making notes and drawing out a rough sketch and when he was done he showed us what we both wanted and was looking for. It was perfect! We made no changes to the first sketch he showed us. The day of our wedding I was able to see our reception fully set up prior to guests arriving so I was able to see our cake as well. I was blown away with how beautiful it was! The cake was very fresh and oh so yummy at our wedding! We have gotten many, many compliments about it. They are the only bakery we use now!!

When we first met with Dave, we didn't have much of a vision for our wedding cake, just a few pictures of things we thought we liked. When he saw our theme and things that we liked and a bunch of pinterest pictures, he designed a beautiful wedding cake for us that we absolutely loved- and it was so delicious too! We got so many wonderful comments about the cake and the awesome Italian cookie tray that we ordered, I don't think there was any cake or cookies left at the end of the night! I also made a very late addition of extra gluten free cupcakes to our order and they were more than willing to accommodate! <3 Muscoreil's!

Muscoreils gave us the ultimate wedding cake experience. From our consultation to cake delivery, the cake maker Dave was extremely attentive and helpful. At our consultation he took all of the qualities we wanted in a cake and threw them together into a master sketch. The actual cake turned out even better than I ever imagined--they were able to accommodate for a 3-tier cake on 4 pillars with a fountain beneath. It looked like something straight out of a bridal magazine and I could not believe it! That’s not to mention the taste--the cake itself was HEAVENLY! We had 3 different flavors and all were a huge hit with guests. We also ordered the authentic italian cookie trays (2 12lb trays) that disappeared in about 20 minutes! We are so happy with our experience at Muscoreils and we highly recommend their wedding dessert catering services!

When we met with Dave to design our cake I was extremely impressed by his compassion, knowledge, and professionalism! He was very attentive to our wants and helped us design the perfect cake. It was exactly what we wanted on our wedding day! We chose the white almond raspberry and our guests loved it! Highly recommended!!

We absolutely loved every minute of this cake! From designing it with Dave to seeing it as a decoration at our reception for hours, it was nothing short of amazing! We received so many compliments on our cake from those who attended our wedding as well as those who have simply seen pictures on Facebook. This was no small order either, we had a six tier cake all covered in fondant with a sugar flower topper done in a Victorian era style of design. There were different shapes, colors, and designs for each layer and all were done with extreme care to detail! It doesn't hurt that the cake tasted wonderful too! It was never frozen and it was all eaten! We couldn't have asked for more or better!

I was a gluten-free bride, so finding a cake that wouldn't cause my Celiac flare-up was a huge thing for me. I worked with the team here and we came up with the idea to do a three layer gluten free cake for cutting, then regular cupcakes for the guests. It was amazing, everyone was thrilled! And the price was far less than I had been anticipating.

Amazing! Dave was a pleasure to work with and very artistic. He took my vision and made it even better! The cake tasted amazing and wasn't dry at all. And on your one year anniversary they make you a new cake topper so you don't have to eat the frozen one!

You could not ask for a better bakery than Muscoreil's Fine Desserts and Gourmet Bistro. They provided our cake and a dessert platter for our wedding. To start, working with Dave was extremely easy. I took a couple of pictures of what I was hoping for, and he was able to implement them perfectly. He really puts a lot of care and attention in to what he does.
He helped us through the selection process, and was extremely accommodating. Working with Dave was very easy - at no point did I feel like I was being pushed to do something that I didn't want. He gave advise when needed, and showed a great deal of professionalism.
We went with the almond cake with raspberry cream filling for the cake, and had both vanilla and chocolate cupcakes to compliment. Everyone raved about how delcious the cake and cupcakes were. The dessert tray was also a huge success.
I would use Muscoreil's again in a heartbeat. I was very happy with the service, with how beautiful the end product was, and how delicious everything was!

Muscoreil's is the real deal! They have the best cake around and I'm not much of a cake person as most times it is way to sweet for me. However, they have a perfect ratio of cake/icing/filling that is just perfect in every bite. We had the vanilla/almond/raspberry cake which I believe is their signature wedding cake and it was a dream. They did a modest 3 tier cake for us with sheet cake to serve the rest of the guests. The artistry of the finished piece was very elegant, even for our simple design/tastes. Just viewing their showroom you can tell they know what they're doing. They don't just do the drop and dash either. They set-up the cake where you want it and make sure it looks perfect before leaving. It was very seamless and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It just got done! Super reliable and highly recommended. Two other things: 1) We get another cake on our one year anniversary INCLUDED so we don't have to store a cake in our freezer and eat nasty/stale cake a year later. (Which was clutch because my wife won't drink milk on the day of our a day past the expiration date. 2) We had them make the cake for our wedding shower/tailgate party. They did a Bill Vs. Steelers cake with the end-zones painted in each teams colors and the goal posts and everything. It was AWESOME! We even got a discount for going through them for that service too. By far the best in the area! They have a great reputation and care about keeping it great. You can tell by every person you deal with it. Even just walking in to buy a treat for my wife & I, they are kind, personable and will help explain/decide. KUDOS!

Muscoreils did a fantastic job with our wedding cake. Not only did it taste amazing (white almond cake with strawberry cream filling), but it was designed exactly as I had pictured. Also, they worked directly with Maureens florist to add the fresh flowers to the cake, which was nice to not have to worry about coordinating.

We had a fantastic experience at Muscoreil's. Dave Muscoreil sat down with my fiancé and me personally to discuss our wedding cake according to our date, location, and theme. They were able to provide a gluten-free cake, an absolute must for our wedding day. They had several gluten free options to choose from, all of which were delicious. The finished product was beautifully and tastefully decorated, and was exactly what we discussed in our consultation. I highly recommend Muscoreil's!

Muscoreil's made us the most delicious wedding cake and gluten free cupcakes for our reception on 9/12/15. Everyone was so easy to work with, and any time I went in to make a payment or talk to them about the cake, they always said "congratulations again" about my upcoming wedding which I thought was really sweet. Mr. Muscoreil is very professional and checks in with you a few days before your wedding to go over when he will be dropping off the cake, make sure your payments are all set and to see if you have anymore questions before the big day! Also, I really liked how he personally dropped off my cake to the venue, not just some random driver. He was very nice and easy to talk to. He created a cake that looked just like the picture I showed him from pinterest. We had a marble cake with chocolate chip filling - absolutely AMAZING. I was getting compliments all night about how tasty it was!

Never in my life have I tasted a cake so delicious!! In general, I'm not a huge cake fan, but I would honestly eat our wedding cake everyday if I could. I'm so glad we chose to work with Muscoreils! We met with Dave on two occasions and he was so professional, helpful, and just a great guy. We chose a simple cake with fresh flowers and Dave coordinated with our florist (Lori at Blossoms N Treasures) to get the flowers and incorporate them into the cake. It was so helpful that they already had a working relationship and I didn't have to worry about anything. The cake was SO beautiful and so, so good. I definitely recommend Muscoreils!!

The best cake I have ever eaten!! I was very picky on the cake we had for our wedding since I decorate cakes myself. We wanted a giant cake with a fountain and thy made it absolute perfect!!! An absolute pleasure to work with and they took such great care in the details of our beautiful cake.

Muscoreil's was the best choice for wedding cake. I didn't eat much at my wedding but you better believe I had the cake. The flavors were to die for and the design was simple and elegant, exactly what I asked for. Highly recommend.
