Elese and her team at Murdochs are incredible! I knew they always did good work for other events but my flowers at my wedding were above and beyond any expectations that I had! I even had men from our catering team and the venue owner, saying they were some of the prettiest flowers they had seen for a wedding! Elese was so easy to work with too! She is so talented and passionate about what she does that she truly helps you create your vision down to every single detail. We got floral rings for part of our centerpieces and Elese even had me drop everything else off including the lanterns, candles, netting table overlap, etc. so that she could put them all together for us and bring them already ready to the venue! We not only got the flowers from Murdoch's but also rented their beautiful birch tree arch which was the perfect detail for our rustic and nautical Eastern shore wedding! I truly can't thank Elese and her team for how perfect everything turned out for our big day! -

User2256713 Sent on 08/04/2015Absolutely perfect! We showed them pictures of what we wanted and they worked with us to create designs that fit our budget. They created exactly what we wanted from the bouquets to the arch flowers and reception centerpieces. They were wonderful to work with! -

Jen Sent on 09/24/2011Our venue (Silver Swan Bayside) recommended Murdoch Florist, and we were very happy working with them, and they offer good value compared to other florists I looked at. They are a family-owned business and are very knowledgeable about everything flower-related. The only thing I wish that they did was communicate more over e-mail when I started working with them; I think they prefer phone, but closer to the wedding, I started communicating with them more through e-mail (and they were mostly responsive) since their shop hours didn't really mesh well with my work hours.
I was most impressed with how everything turned out the day of the wedding--the bouquets were gorgeous (especially mine!), and everyone remarked how gorgeous the chuppah was that they built for us.
They also went above and beyond for us the day of the wedding because I had asked them to supply small orchids for my bridesmaid's hair, but had forgotten to ask them to come to the hotel so that our hair dresser could pin them in; they were just planning on going to the venue to set up. I realized my mistake the morning of the wedding, so frantically called them and they came to the hotel, no questions asked (I felt really bad).
I would highly recommend Murdoch Florist for anyone's Eastern Shore or Annapolis-area wedding. -

Amanda Sent on 05/20/2011Murdoch Florist did a great job with everything for our wedding! They finished our centerpieces and they were above and beyond what we expected! After we booked with Elese for our wedding it was a little slow getting a response, but when I got what I needed it was professional and friendly! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area for a great job with a great price! -

They were flexible in me making changes to my order multiple times, even though I frequently lessened the amount I was ordering. I gave them a general concept of what I wanted and did not see the arrangements until the reception. When I saw the centerpieces, I was stunned at how beautiful they were. Murdochs did a more amazing job than I could have asked for myself. They completely took my vision and did a great job! They delivered the arrangements straight to the venue. The only issue I had throughout the process was lack of communication on their end. A few weeks before the wedding I became worried because I hadn't heard from them, so sent someone in person to check on the status of my order (I live far from them). When my contact got there in person, Murdochs was already on top of my order, with everything ordered, in process, and marked on the calendar; they just hadn't let me know. They were also well priced. -

I went to a few weddings on the shore where Murdoch did such an amazing job and was super excited to find out they would fit our budget. I met with them right away but it took over a month to get a quote, I was told I would have it within the week and had to send a few emails to get a response. Once I got the quote I wanted a quick revision with a updated quote, it took almost two weeks for any kind of response. at this point I had already found a booked another vendor. Their work is beautiful and the people are so nice I just didn't have the time to wait weeks and weeks for any kind of response. -
User1099011 Sent on 02/27/2013Murdoch Florist delivered me gorgeous flowers on my wedding day. They were just what I wanted, despite my ability to communicate my vision very well. I didn't book my florist until a little over a month ahead of time, so I was fortunate Murdochs was able to do my wedding. They delivered and set up all of the flowers on the wedding day, which made everything so much easier. She worked with me to find pictures of bouquets I liked and made many suggestions to help me along. It took a long time for her to give me the final contract, but everything got done on time. I recommend their products!
