Stop looking for a wedding DJ and just hire MR DJ immediately!

I would give MR DJ 10 stars if I could. He was recommended for our May 2025 wedding by our venue Scribner Bend (and seconded by a friend who booked him for her wedding), and we immediately clicked with both Mike and his wife Heather at a vendor fair. Mike asked all of the right questions, provided so much thoughtful advice, and made us smile every time we met. He provided some really great insights for building a great ambience. On the day of our wedding, he curated the vibe perfectly and made everything flow smoothly. We didn’t need to worry about a single thing knowing that Mike would manage the flow and energy. Our dance floor was so energetic and we got lots of compliments on his upbeat demeanor. A real highlight for our guests was his suggestion entirely, starting dinner with a “Dance for Your Dinner” which got the energy up and primed everyone to get down on the dance floor later. We also opted for uplighting through MR DJ, which was totally worth the money. We really loved the old Hollywood style lights, they added such a cool vibe to our dance floor and our photos. Thank you for being the best DJ we could have asked for!

Mike and Heather Regan are amazing!

Our wedding was on June 8, 2024, and our DJ vendor search did not last long, as we met Mike and Heather early on in our search and knew right away that we wanted Mr DJ Event Services to DJ our wedding. We are so incredibly grateful that we found them, and I got so many compliments on how great the music was at our wedding. Mike and Heather are both extremely organized, professional, responsive, and incredibly good at what they do. Mike is very personable and really knows how to get a party started. We had some visions for what kind of music we wanted, but Mike's expertise and guidance really helped us to make our wedding the perfect day. Mike is the BEST!

HIRE MIKE!!!!

Mike went above and beyond what was asked of him on our wedding day, and we are so truly grateful for that. If I could change just one thing, it's not having Heather there as our coordinator.

Our one goal of the day (besides getting married) was to have the most fun wedding ever. The party was AMAZING and every single guest has commented on how much fun they had with Mike as the DJ. I felt at ease with him there, and I know it wouldn't have been the day it was without him. Mike is forever our favorite DJ!!!

I don’t even have words, I am still getting compliments on my wedding and how it was the most fun wedding people have been to, and I have to give most of that credit to Mike. He was phenomenal!! From the moment we first zoomed him, we knew he was the perfect fit, he makes the entire process easy, seamless, and best of all, fun! And come wedding day, he truly made my wedding one to remember. DJ Mike from DJ Event Services made our dream wedding a reality. From the very first meeting we had with DJ Mike, it did not feel like a business interaction, but a conversation with an old friend. He took the time to get to know us as individuals and as a couple to ensure our wedding day was just what we wanted! He understood our want for keeping this family-friendly festivity lighthearted and fun. He provided great suggestions in areas where we were uncertain, and helped to finalize all the details of our vision. Best part of the night, the dance floor was PACKED!

Perfect Wedding

My husband and I worked with Mike Jones from MR DJ Event Services for our April 2022 wedding in Plymouth, CA. He was so much fun and had everyone dancing the whole night! At the end of our beautiful day, we were getting compliments on the music and the environment provided by Mike. Amazing!!!

Communication was key throughout our wedding planning with Mr. DJ. Nearing the wedding date, we had changes. There was never a problem and they got back to us right away. Once Mike Jones arrived, he was on time and got set up. The music was great, all our guests commented! By the end of our reception, we were dancing with Mike Jones too. He is a lot of fun and everything went right on queue. This business is professional and did everything possible to make our day special. Thank you to both Mike's!!

Best Dj ever

We hired Mike to be our DJ at our wedding a few weeks ago and it was one of the best decisions ever! He was funny, sweet, and a blast to have as our MC/DJ! Our guests loved him and he was really good at getting the party going. If your looking for a dj and MC who energetic, listens to what you want and knows how to throw a food party then hire Mr Dj event services! You will be so happy you did! The BEST Wedding DJ Experience!

Hiring MR DJ Event Services was one of the best decisions my wife and I made throughout our wedding planning process. From our first call with Mike (owner), I was certain that the wedding was going to be a success. Mike was a true professional in the way that he guided our decision-making process, helping us to dream up the perfect wedding experience that we wanted to have. I'm notorious for over-thinking, and Mike's years of experience helped us to paint the picture of what was most important to us, allowing him to fill in the gaps and guide us in making choices for the ceremony and reception. 2 days before the wedding, Ivan (wedding DJ) gave me a call and we had an opportunity to make a few last requests. Everything the day of the wedding went perfectly. Ivan followed our outline/song requests with exact precision, creating transitions throughout the ceremony and reception that were as smooth as can be. He also helped to guide our guests through the reception experience, helping us to be on-time and stick to our preferred order of events. He was a big hit with everyone that joined us on the dance floor. And when all was said and done, the execution of the evening could not have been more perfect from a DJ/sound perspective. Not a single issue to speak of. I would recommend hiring MR DJ Event Services for absolutely any event, private or corporate, but since I have been to so many weddings, I ESPECIALLY recommend them for the wedding of your dreams!

When it matters most!

Our wedding was in May of this year and just so happens, Mother Nature decided to bless us with an unusual spring storm that was unlike any I can remember in my lifetime growing up here! Mike Regan had already impressed us with his professionalism and preparedness leading up to our big day but what came on the wedding day itself was something that no one could have planned for. The unexpected rain storm was intense; pouring down buckets of rain not to mention wind, thunder and lightning too! Our day was planned to be an outdoor wedding and though we ended up getting a tent to accommodate the forecast, the blistery force of Mother Nature made that even an unacceptable option. Luckily the venue had some indoor space and though we were very cramped and cozy, Mike and the rest of the vendor team were quick to shift gears on a moment's notice. Let's just say we went through plan B, C, and D! At one point I told my wedding coordinator and Mike that I relinquished myself of all decisions and that they could all work together to come up with the best option for saving our wedding day.... this was the best decision of the day! Mike and the rest of the crew were amazing and all on their absolute A game! In a moment's notice, they all switched gears and started bringing the wedding inside setting up cocktail hour in an unplanned area and moving the music and mic setup to multiple locations within the venue to accommodate the need for changing everything around. Eventually, the rain did subside and they then switched gears again moving everything back outdoors as planned. That's a lot of extra work but everybody did it with a smile on their face and an attitude of eagerness that I cannot thank them enough for! I can definitely say with a happy heart that it turned out better than I ever could have planned and it was beautiful and magical from start to finish! Mike has definitely earned our family's business for life and we are so glad that we had his skill and professionalism on this crazy day. And our guests were as over the top impressed as we were!

Thank you again Mike Regan! We were very blessed to have you on our team that day and highly you to anyone looking for a top notch, A-Class pro to handle the expected but more importantly the unexpected!

The best wedding DJ you could ask for!

We chose Mike as our DJ for our wedding and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made. We were confident right away from the initial phone call that Mike's friendliness and expertise was exactly what we needed/wanted for our wedding.

The entire planning process was so organized and awesome. My husband and I weren't sure exactly what we wanted, but Mike knew just what questions to ask to guide us along. From building a timeline to choosing songs for the ceremony and other critical parts of the wedding, Mike helped us draft our vision and bring it to life. Every pertinent detail was discussed and Mike was able to give us pros and cons for different ideas, help with toast content, reception entrance, song ideas etc. The online tools, emails and video/phone calls leading up to the wedding were so helpful and made it easy to communicate last minute details.

On the day of our wedding, Mike went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly. He checked in with us throughout the night, offered advice, helped with minor timeline adjustments, and kept us moving along on schedule. He payed attention to our guests' energy and knew just how to keep the party going. His ability to direct our event really blew us away and our wedding would not have gone as well as it did without him. Our guests had fun and the night went so well.

We truly can't say enough good things about our experience with Mike and would recommend him to anyone.

Amazing DJ Services!

I cannot compliment and thank Mike and Heather at Mr. DJ Event Services enough! He recently provided us services for our September wedding. Right off the bat when we first spoke with him, I knew he'd make our day special and exactly what we were looking for. He is by far the most organized vendor we have worked with, by setting up skype meetings (dealing with my horrible internet connect at times!) to discuss our vision and who we were as a couple! You could tell he really cared about understanding 'our' story so he could help guide us in the kind of wedding we wanted. I guess you could say we weren't a very traditional couple, in the sense we had no idea what kind of dance music we wanted, we only knew what kind of music we wanted during cocktail and dinner hour, so Mike helped us find music that fit 'us' but also helped keep the energy and fun in our party. He was so accommodating to our requests; we had a family member play acoustic guitar as the bride walked down the aisle, and he helped coach her up and feel at home next to him, and not worry about the crowd! I mean if that's not personal service, I don't know what is! He kept great timing of the entire event, checking in with us (bride and groom) every step of the way during the wedding, and played fantastic music that the guests raved about. We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding day such an unforgettable day. We would highly recommend his services!!!

Best dj ever!

Mike Regan is truly a gem! To me and my husband, picking the right DJ for our wedding was extremely important. We had a very specific vision for our wedding, which included a very select kind of music and atmosphere. In addition, we wanted a DJ who could not only create a fun party atmosphere, but also serve as an emcee, keeping the wedding running smoothly and on schedule. Mike went ABOVE AND BEYOND and made our vision become a reality. He devoted many hours before our wedding talking to us on the phone about song selections, timing, transitions, and helped us create special moments throughout the wedding. He navigated our picky music choices like a boss and created an amazingly fun reception! Our dance floor was packed from start to finish just like we wanted! I had the pleasure of seeing Mike in action this past weekend at a crab feed for over 700 people and he was STELLAR! From the uplighting and custom gobos throughout the space to the great tunes and his incredible ability to own the room of 700 humans who were ready to party- the ambience was perfection and Mike was amazing!

As an event producer it warms my type-A soul to see vendors crushing it and doing what they do best. I would highly recommend Mike Regan and look forward to working with him in the future!

Mr. DJ helped make our daughter's wedding one of the best ones we and our guests have ever been to. The music and directing of the event was flawless. We could tell that Mike was paying attention to the crowd and playing the music that was going to keep that party going. And he kept the flow going so that we knew the proper things to do at the right time. Mike is a very talented Master of Ceremonies. He is professional, he listened to the couple's requests but also gave them new ideas to consider.

I want to say that we particularly loved the soul train dancing and the very touching father daughter dance. Our guests noted that during the ceremony, the audio Mike provided made every word of their vows crystal clear - and it was a windy day.

I have known Mike R. for several years but never used his services before or been at an event where he has been the DJ. As soon as my daughter got engaged we set up a meeting for her and her fiancee with Mike. They were both so impressed off this first meeting they did not look any further for a DJ. Mike J. was the wedding DJ and also happens to be a family friend. He did an amazing job. It was so nice having a professional who obviously knows what they are doing help to run the wedding. He even helped get last minute items in place before the ceremony which helped the bride, groom and family relax. . Everyone had a wonderful time, the music, toasts, cake cutting, first dances all were perfect. You get what you pay for so if you want a top quality DJ for your wedding or event look no farther.

I cannot possibly say enough about Mike Regan! We hired his as our wedding DJ, and it was the best decision we made to date! Starting from the beginning he was very energetic, very interested in learning about my husband and I, and truly took the time to understand what it was we were looking for in a DJ. We were sold during the interview process, when he asked us to give him a couple words to describe our wedding and a phrase that we wanted our gusted saying at the end of the night. He wasn't looking to get hired to play music at our wedding, he was looking to make our night all about us and our vision. He offered suggestions and advice on things we hadn't thought of, and helped us create the wedding of our dreams! His website was very intuitive, and allowed us to identify some of our favorite songs, as well as the ability to include details about the songs and when we would like to hear them. During our planning meeting, he helped us find tune the schedule I had created for the day, and again, offered advice on timing and flow without being pushy. During the meeting it was very easy to see that I was quite an OCD control freak bride, and Mike totally picked up on that and (in the best possible way) "handled" me extremely well....my new husband should take note!
The day of the wedding Mike showed up completely prepared on time and ready to go! Just before the introductions into the reception I started to put my planning hat back on and he even told me "relax sister I've got this" or something to that effect....he took everything I had given his and performed it PERFECTLY! Just what I needed to sit back and enjoy my day. We had a very rowdy crowd, and Mike knew we wanted nothing but the party, and he was great about playing into it and keeping the energy up the entire time! He checked in with us frequently throughout the night, to make sure the vibe was what we wanted. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to work with!!!!

The absolute last thing I wanted at my wedding was a DJ. My husband also hates to be the center of attention (hard to avoid when you’re the groom), and I was trying my best to accommodate his desire to not be placed in any awkward situations. I was referred to MR DJ Event Services by a local wedding planner, who called Mike Regan "the best DJ in town." I called MR DJ Event Services for the lighting support the next day, and I was lucky enough to connect with Mike Regan. I explained my interest in lighting and when he asked me if I was interested in hiring a DJ for the event, he got quite an earful about why I did not want one. However, I knew my parents and my husband’s parents would love to dance at our wedding, and I knew that I did not want to have to create an iTunes playlist or force one of my friends to be an emcee for the wedding. Ultimately, I was so glad we hired MR DJ to provide both lighting and DJ services for the wedding. Mike takes great care in accommodating his clients’ needs, organizing the sequence of events for a wedding, providing appropriate prompting to guests, and keeping the mood fun. Mike is very cognizant of what a party needs in order to keep it flowing, and this was evident in his planning. Mike takes the time to plan extensively with his clients the type of music desired for different parts of an event, and knows good music (and bad music, which he will definitely not play at your event). During the planning stage of my wedding and the event itself, Mike was a model of calm, responsive, jolly, unpretentious, and organized professionalism. Our guests gave us many compliments about how they loved the lighting, how fun and appropriate our emcee was, and how much they loved dancing. To me, it was clear that because my guests and I were having fun, Mike was also having fun. I felt that what was important to me was important to him. Lesson learned: HIRE THE DJ! Thanks, Mike!

Mike Regan was fantastic... from start to finish! My parents and family have known him and my Mom and her friends highly recommended him for my wedding. I knew nothing about his comapny or culture etc. I remember the first day I reached out to him, he was very thorough and friendly! After our phone conversation, I did not want to explore anymore options- I was very pleased with his presence over the phone being that we live in San Francisco and could not meet him face-to-face. Fast forward to our phone call about 3 weeks before the wedding. We had a planned conference call which lasted close to 2 hours covering every single detail imaginable! He even went as far as making a timeline for me and agreeing to be there for my ceremony rehearsal run through. My whole family was beyond words thrilled and impressed with his ability to assist in not only the music, but helping out with the procession and lealding my whole wedding crew through different ways of how the ceremony should be. Mike Regan did not actually DJ the night of my wedding, but I couldn't have been in better hands with Mike Jones! He was EXCELLENT! Always smiling and genuinely excited to be at my wedding celebrating with us!
If you are looking for a DJ in the "greater" Sacramento area, it is WORTH spending a few extra bucks for MR. DJ Event Services! Great culture, staff and attitudes! They KNOW what they are doing! Experts!

To say that working with Mr. DJ was great is almost an understatement. He brought a tremendous amount of experience and practical tools to help focus and achieve our vision: his idea/tool of having a mission statement for our wedding not only helped with our ceremony & reception playlists, but became our go-to in many aspect of our wedding. After hearing stories of other recent weddings with other dj's, Mr. DJ was on time, set up and sound-checked prior to event in both ceremony & reception rooms. He took great care to establish and maintain the feeling & flow of what WE wanted for our celebration and guests. We passed on the basic lighting package offered by our venue in favor of Mr. DJ: our reception terrace had a draped canopy and draped walls (between windows), and he provided separate lighting on the ceiling & walls which was nothing less than BEAUTIFUL.
Mr. DJ doesn't just play tunes, he takes a holistic approach to what he offers to make your wedding distinct, memorable, and what YOU want! He wants to create a feeling or vibe for your wedding, and follow it from start to finish. He doesn't just want to do it, HE DOES IT. I don't want this review to sound too good to be true, Mr. DJ is simply extremely dedicated, professional, and wants you to get everything that YOU want at your wedding (/event!)!!!

When looking to plan our wedding of course we wanted everything to be perfect, that being said neither of us had any clue what we were doing. We knew what kind of energy, atmosphere, and music we wanted but beyond that we felt a little clueless, the great thing about working with Mike was he asked questions we would never have even thought of to really flesh out what type of wedding we really want and what kind of experience this was going to be not only for us, but all of our friends and family as well.

With hindsight being 20/20 i can say most everything about our wedding felt overpriced but the one aspect that was worth every penny and more was the level of care, professionalism, thought, and energy that he put into making our special night the best of our lives. To this day i still have friends and family talking about how much fun they had at our Wedding and i have no doubt that this was in huge part because of Mike and Mr DJ services. Without hesitation i would strongly recommend Mike and Mr DJ services not just for Weddings, but any event that you feel needs to be special and deserves the type of care that i know they will put into your night!

Mike knows his music and knows what he's doing. He took two people that could not figure out a first dance song and sat with us for two hours figuring out all of the logistics. After we met with him I took a deep breath and could finally envision our wedding coming together. Thank you Mike for making that happen!!

I do not even know where to start but one thing is true HIRING MIKE AND HAVING MR DJ SERVICE was the best decision i ever made, he saved my wedding , NO LITERALLY!!!!

Looking for wedding vendors is no easy task, it takes many many many hours of internet shopping, reading reviews, asking around, going to wedding shows etc. I realize you can get a cheap dj for a wedding but u get what you pay for and this is one area u dont want to be cheap. i read so many great things about mike and decided he was a great fit and contacted him. we did our first meeting which was really fun. he makes you feel like your hanging out with a friend and has EXTREME knowledge of what works and dosnt work for your guests to have a great time. i was very confident in him and could relax in knowing he knew what he was doing.....

3 days before my wedding my officiant had an accident and had to have emergency surgery. I WAS FREAKING OUT.... after mike found out he jumped into action and text me saying he was ordained and could do it for us i we needed. we decided we would take him up on this since we had no one else and i knew he would do fabulous. hes just so great with people :)
we wrote the ceremony together over the phone friday morning, my phone was on speaker while i was packing for the wedding since i had just a few hours till my rehersal. he loved our ideas and did all that we wished ....pulling out our personalities but making sure we keep it to the outline of a wedding :) I HUNG UP FEELING SOOOO EXCITED AND SO THANKFUL. ((( MIKE LITERALLY, U SAVED MY WHOLE WEDDING))) after hanging up i really turned to my husband and said "hiring mike was the best thing we did"

We used Mr DJ Event Services, with DJ Ted Hicks, for our wedding at Scribner Bend Vineyards and were very happy with their services. A wedding DJ is more than a person who plays the music -- he ensures the flow of the ceremony and reception. Ted Hicks did all that, and so much more.

1. He ensured proper sound for the ceremony, making sure the officiant and me (groom) were properly mic'd. His calm and confident demeanor during this set-up process was reassuring to me, during an otherwise nerve-filled time!
2. Ted was great about touching base with the photographer, wedding day coordinator, and caterers, to make sure all vendors were on the same page and that things were running smoothly. He probably did so much more, behind the scenes -- but we didn't notice it, as things ran so smoothly. He was great about guiding us through the various events -- for example, when dinner started, he made sure that we (bride and groom) got food first, to begin eating.
3. Ted made sure that people were informed about various events (cake cutting, first dance, shuttle departure, etc) -- when your guests know that things are organized, I think they feel more at ease and have a better time.
4. The preparation meeting with Mike Regan beforehand was very helpful in guiding our music selection and ensuring that our wedding and reception had the atmosphere that we wanted.

When planning a wedding, we learned that you want to use vendors that are trustworthy and experienced -- it makes the planning process, and the actual wedding day, much easier. Mike and Ted fit the bill!

Mike did such an amazing job of being DJ and MC at our wedding! We had the best night of our lives and I put a lot of that down to Mike for helping create a great party atmosphere.

Mike really worked with us ahead of the big day to plan out the evening and offered us great advice on how to structure the night to keep a good flow and our guests on the dance floor. On the day itself he was great at improvising when a band we booked for part of the evening was late and is all in all just a true professional and also very funny! Highly recommended!!

We have heard from many of our friends that the DJ is one of the most key elements in a wedding to function properly. This is completely accurate!!! The moment we met Mike, our stress level immediately dropped. He made us feel so comfortable and secure. He was very professional and fun at the same time. Every aspect and question was answered, and his responsiveness to calls and e mails was instantaneous. When the day of the wedding came, I had no concerns or worries because Mike made everything stress free. From the music to the gorgeous lighting, everything was perfection. All of our guests would not stop raving about how great the music was. There was never a moment when the dance floor was empty. Thank you so much Mike for making our wedding so memorable and fabulous.

We hired Mike to be the dj at our wedding, but we got so much more! He spend about 4-5 hours with us before the wedding to help us plan the whole day and the music. Mike was more than helpful leading up to our wedding day, but on our wedding day he was spectacular! He was not only our dj, but he kept everything moving and improvised when things weren't going exactly as planned. He made our day stress free! Who needs a wedding planner? Mike did it all from timing us walking down the asile, getting people to where they needed to be, calming my fiances' nerves, to getting everyone to dance. He was the best investment we made in our wedding! We could not have asked for a more fun, energetic, kind person to be apart of our wedding. It really struck me how much he loved his job when I caught a glimps of him during our ceremony and he had the biggest smile on his face. It just made me think, for a guy that goes to weddings all the time, he still enjoys every second of it. Hire him!

Thank you Mike!!!! You really did such an amazing job and I'm so very happy that we found you. You were SUCH a huge help to Brandon and in both the planning and wedding itself. There were so many things that we hadn't even thought of in planning and with your help and guidance, it all came out to be perfect.

I really wanted to have a fun wedding. I wanted people to say that our wedding was the best wedding they had ever been to. I wanted it to be cheese-free, very "us," and a blast. I was terrified that the wrong DJ choice would hinder our ability to have an awesome wedding reception. Basically, what I'm saying is that our DJ choice ranked very high on my priority list for our wedding.
I was looking for someone who would understand our goals for our reception, and know exactly what to do to achieve them. I wanted someone to hold my hand through the entire process, while tailoring it to our personalities. Mike kicked off our meeting by asking how my husband and I met and got together. He asked us to describe our ideal reception, and how we would want it to feel. He clearly cared about our wedding reception reflecting who we are.
At our planning meeting a few months later, he laid out a full timeline. We planned each event from intros all the way to when the music was shut off. There was no question left unanswered. I’ll tell you, when you have all of the stress of a wedding going on, having someone take the lead like Mike does is a HUGE DEAL! When we left that meeting, our reception was completely mapped out and a ton of stress melted away.
Our reception was perfect. Mike took such good care of us, and gave us the best wedding we ever could have hoped for. He is incredibly talented, and is a natural at emceeing while remaining unobtrusive. He thinks on his toes and effortlessly adapts to accommodate for unexpected changes.
While Mike is obviously a great DJ, what really stood out to my husband and I was his natural ability to read the energy in the room. He has a sense for people and what they need to have a great time. He had the dance floor packed the entire night! Everyone said it was the best wedding they'd been to. He is worth every penny and more. If you have the opportunity to hire him, do it. Best decision I made since saying "yes."

I am the mother of the bride and was the person who chose Mike Regan for his DJ and lighting services. Faith and Nate (bride and groom) were unsure what type of music they wanted... harpist for ceremony, band for reception, or DJ. I researched a lot of various options on the internet including watching and listening to a lot of music videos on line.

I chose Mike because of his reputation and, quite frankly, I thought he looked so handsome and professional he would be absolutely incapable of being the goofy DJ that no one likes at a wedding!! I was correct.

Mike was available by phone, email, and made several on site visits to the Silverado Resort in Napa. He worked so incredibly well with the Silverado Resort wedding coordinator that she called me one day to thank me for choosing him.

But obviously the most important people he needed to please were the bride and groom. After a phone consultation with both of them, the bride and groom were so excited about the day and the music that it inspired them to get their not so fun tasks completed, which made me, the mother of the bride, very happy!

The day of the wedding Mike and his crew were at the Resort bright and early as the wedding start time was 10:00 am. They were all cheery and hard working as they set up the music at three different locations as well as lighting for the reception that was the same design as the wedding invites (branches and two birds)... so magical.

It all came together and everyone loved the lighting, music, and no complaints about a "goofy" DJ. The best compliment was given by the groom after his telephone consultation with Mike. He told me, "WOW he is not our DJ he is our my own personal groom wedding coordinator."

So why choose Mike? Mother of the Bride- happy, Bride- happy, Groom- happy, Guests-happy, Silverado Resort wedding service staff-happy!

My husband and I searched for months for a live band and the prices were way too high for just average music. Finally, while at the dentist, my dental assistant told me about Mr. DJ Service. I met with the owner, Mike Regan, and was instantly excited. He sat down with me for almost two hours to discuss exactly what I was looking for and what type of wedding theme I wanted to set. He also directed me to his website where I was able to hand pick my own playlist as well as put in the songs that I wanted to play for special moments (i.e. mother/son dance, first dance, bouquet toss, etc).

I honestly couldn't be happier with how the music turned out at my wedding. DJ Mike Jones was absolutely FANTASTIC!! Not only did he help set up the slideshow (this wasn't even one of his jobs) but his MCing and DJing were out of this world! I have never been to a wedding that had a dance floor as consistently jammed as that one. Every song was good!

I will refer Mr. DJ Service to ANYONE getting married or having a party. You won't find better!

BEST WEDDING EVER!!!! That's all I can say!!! We cannot tell you thank you enough for the wonderful job you did at our wedding. Danny and I were just thrilled!! It was the perfect day and we absolutely loved every second. The entire evening flowed with such grace and the music fit our wedding perfectly. Mr DJ was a pleasure to work with, he took all of our ideas and worked them out. He also did the lighting for us, which turned out to be a phenomenal portion of the wedding. He made it easy to discuss ideas, via one on one meetings, emails and phone meetings. Overall I would highly recommend Mr DJ to any bride

We hired Mike to DJ our wedding at Northstar and have nothing but great things to say about his service. From the initial interview and throughout the event Mike was very enthusiastic about the event, offered great suggestions and ideas that really helped tie our wedding together. Mike was very professional throughout the entire process and was genuinely excited to work with us. We also had Mike provide a photo booth and a slide show. The photo booth was a hit and he had an attendant that put together a scrapbook for us and helped people with the photos. The slide show was well done and there were little creative personal touches he added that helped keep the mood light. We really enjoyed this service and would recommend it to anyone looking for a DJ.

Ryan and I got engaged on a beautiful, sun-shiney day in July 2011. We
were on a two week camping trip (with no cell phone reception for
miles!) so I couldn't tell my friends or family the good news until we
got back to civilization. Of course I started the planning process in
my mind the minute I had that sparkly ring on my finger, but couldn't
really officially make any plans until we got back into town. One of
the first vendors on my "to-book list" was the DJ. For anyone who
knows us, this wouldn't come as a big surprise. We LOVE to dance! We
think no wedding is truly complete until the dance floor is packed and
we knew we wouldn't have it any other way for our own wedding. But
after helping plan a few other weddings with close friends and
subsequently attending those weddings, I also understood that a good
beat and flashing lights were only part of the equation when deciding
on a DJ. The DJ should set the mood with appropriate background music
which blends so seamlessly with the environment that you hardly notice
it's there except for the wonderful feeling it creates. The DJ should
be like a cruise director - moving things along and directing guests'
attention to different events. The DJ should have a nice voice and a
professional demeanor. And maybe most importantly, the DJ should have
experience and an intuition that recognizes the feeling and energy of
a large crowd and responds accordingly.

So, armed with this knowledge, I set out to find our perfect DJ. Mike
actually came to me through a recommendation and I had already
attended many weddings that he had worked at. However, this did not
mean that I didn't put him through the rigorous questioning that I did
with the rest of the DJs I interviewed. But what was apparent from the
beginning was DJ Mike Regan was nothing like the other DJs. For one
thing he is a small company and when you book with him, you get him.
After the first few minutes of talking with Mike, his demeanor and
obvious experience spoke volumes. He carefully listened to all my
wants, wishes and desires and offered many suggestions to issues or
challenges I was facing. He seemed truly committed to making our
wedding feel like "us" and not some run-of-the-mill, cookie cutter
wedding. I knew he was the one for us.

Ryan, Mike and I met in person for the first time a couple months
prior to the wedding. We grabbed a bite to eat and got right down to
business. I really appreciated Mike's ability to see our wedding in
the most broad, conceptual way and then work from there to break it
down to the smallest details. By asking us what we wanted our day to
feel like and what we wanted our guests to experience and remember, we
were able to create that ambiance with music, timing and event layout.
We went through a detailed time line of the day, talked about songs
and background music, discussed speeches and dances and SO much more. The two hour meeting when by in no time and I was left feeling
completely confidant in his abilities. Over the next few months, Mike
was only a phone call or e-mail away when I had a last minute change
or needed an opinion.

The day of the wedding, Mike had everything set up at the venue well
before I arrived. For cocktail hour I had a duet play some original
music and Mike worked with them to coordinate speaker system hook-ups
and other details. Everything went so smoothly and I never had to
question if we were on schedule or worry about something being
forgotten. The music was beautiful and mood was perfectly set. And yes
- the dance floor was completely packed! I even crowd-surfed in my
wedding dress!

Mike's talents go so far beyond just music - with him you truly get
the entire package. There is something to be said about investing in
the very best and having the peace of mind that goes with knowing you
are in very capable hands. Mike really spent the time building a very
sound working relationship with Ryan and I and in the end, we were so
comfortable and confident about his work that we didn't have a single
worry. We couldn't have been happier with our choice. I should also
mention that he happens to take really awesome photos too!

Mike - you made our wedding dream come true! And for that, we are
forever grateful!

This by far was the best investment we made in our day! We wanted a party, and boy did we get one! It was awesome. Mike Jones is amazing and Mike Regan is the best planner of the day and the corresponding music to fit. So AWESOME!!!!

Oh. My. Gosh. What do you get when you mix an extremely handsome man and jaw dropping talent????? You get Mike Regan with MR. DJ Service. Mere words cannot express how over and above this man is. He was our string quartet for our ceremony - creating the most romantic and tear jerking environment there; and he was the life of the party at our ceremony right after!!! You know you have a rock star for a DJ when everyone at the wedding is on the dance floor and begs for more after the last song is played. From the moment we met he knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding. He is so much more then music and lights!!! He puts his heart and soul into what he does and you can tell he was born for this work. Every song that was played was one to remember. He was able to make a connection with every guest - ignite laugher, get people booty shaking, and turn on the faucets with tears of joy. I couldn't have asked for anything better!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! We're so pleased we hired Mike for our wedding! We were hesitant at first because it was a little expensive, but after careful consideration, research with other companies, and a consultation with Mike, we couldn't see our dream wedding without him. The quality of service is most definitely worth the cost!

First, Mike has an incredible personality that made us very comfortable. This helped him make our planning more personalized and unique. From the start, Mike made it clear that his goal was to convey the feelings we wanted our guests to experience throughout the day--he totally did this. Through his deep and thoughtful questions, he created music and plans for a fantastic ceremony and evening. Unlike some other DJ's that refer you to recommended songlists (that everyone and their moms have used), Mike helped us select very meaningful music that made our day a pure representation of us. We got great feedback from guests who all said that our day was spectacular!

Second, Mike is so professional and responsive. My husband and I never had any trouble reaching him. This was very helpful during the planning process. His professional traits and work ethic enabled us to give 100% trust that he was really going to provide his services to the max and meet our expectations.

Lastly, my husband and I want to stress how flexible Mike was during our wedding. The three of us spent a few hours planning a detailed timeline and play list. He was very thorough and I loved that he was committed to sticking to the schedule during our wedding. He kept everything on track that day, but we did have a delay of about 45 minutes. It was an unexpected delay that WE caused while visiting tables. My husband and I started to panic a little, but Mike saved the day! He was VERY calm when he approached us and just told us we would set the pace. His words, tone, and demeanor seriously saved us from panicking and feeling anxious.
