I fell in love with MOYO on their site and head over heels, "this is the spot" when we toured. It had everything we were looking for- one location, outdoors ( with coverage, in the event it rained and it did end up raining!), rustic feel, caterer, BYOB, firepit!, wooden tables, and a personal connection that it actually is a spot for yoga year round.

Skippack was the icing on the cake. We had guests from all over the country and Canada and they talked about this cute little town they discovered over the weekend. Our guests enjoyed shopping and dining and felt like it was a vacation for them, ( a priority of ours). We stayed at Hotel Fiesole and used that for the rehearsal dinner and getting ready. What a great complement to MOYO to complete the weekend.

MOYO was truly perfect. Our day was easy and we were taken care of. The grounds were also so beautiful to take pictures and decor was kept simple and natural. I would not change a thing. It was exactly what I had hope for in a wedding weekend.

Lochwood Estates was an incredibly BEAUTIFUL location for our wedding reception! I cannot even put into words how much it exceeded my expectations and how beautiful it looked. Whether you are going for elegant or rustic or a little in between, this is the spot to have your event. The barn is gorgeous and everyone is great to work with! They are very flexible and make things happen to have your event be the way you dreamed it to be!

We had our ceremony & reception this September at the barn at Lochwood. From the moment we toured the venue we realized it was for us. The rustic barn charm, surrounded by beautiful trees outside was exactly what we were looking for. The barn staff communicated often with us during our planning & helped us stay on task. Bill, really made our day - when we toured the outside had beautiful strings of Edison bulbs that made the perfect setting for nighttime pictures. On our rehearsal day months later we noticed they were gone. They had been damaged by a truck and fallen down. We had expressed to Bill what a shame that was because we were so looking forward to photos under them. He said he would do everything he could to replace it. Well, we showed up Sunday on our wedding day, and new lights had been put up! The barn provides an excellent wedding venue site, however the only thing I would point out is that it doubles as a yoga studio. Not normally a problem, but everything wedding wise is done around the yoga classes. Again, not a huge issue, but can be a pain when trying to figure out time to decorate for a wedding while not interrupting a yoga class. My only suggestion might be to have wedding days as wedding days only? Otherwise we had a great experience with the staff of the barn!

The Barn at Lochwood, is an amazing venue and location. We came away with some amazing photos for our wedding. One thing that we wish was better was to have a completely separated bridal suite. During the changing times my wife had to use the bathroom to change as well as had people coming in and out of the "bridal suite" like prospective customers. Otherwise the venue was amazing.
