As most 2020 brides know, this year has been incredibly challenging and stressful. Restrictions changed regularly, as communities transitioned into a new way of life. Mount Hope Farm never created additional stress for my now husband (yay!) and I. Understandably, there were friends and family expressing some worry about how the event would occur, or what changes would need to be made. I had those worries regularly. But, every correspondence with MHF and my coordinator Emily (she was amazing!), expressed their excitement over the event, their ability to create a memorable wedding while ensuring the safety of guests/abiding by state regulations - and most importantly - they created a relationship of trust. My husband and I felt confident with every aspect of the venue. They provided timely updates and options when changes occured. I applaud their support and calm approach during what was certainly one of their most challenging wedding seasons.
If you choose MHF as your venue, your are not only receiving spectacular views but an outstanding team to ensure the day is seamless.

10/10 experience at the Cove Cabin at Mount Hope Farm! The venue is beautiful and in my opinion quintessential Rhode Island. From the beginning, working with Russell Morin Catering was perfect. Katherine helped us through every step of planning, and she and the rest of the team absolutely delivered on wedding day! Everything was seamless, stress free, and on time. Many of our guests complimented how kind and professional the staff was. The food was excellent and the options were plentiful. They work with Peak events and Ryan Design, who brought our vision to life! If you’re looking for the perfect venue, this is it! -

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Mount Hope Farm this past weekend! The venue easily fit out 165 person wedding. The staff were all extremely responsive and organized. There was never a line in the bar. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of and the event flowed smoothly. Our planner Christina was always timely responding to us, answering all of our questions and helping to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. The venue itself could not be more beautiful with an amazing breeze by the water even on the hottest day. We could not recommend this venue more! All of our guests raved! -

The team running weddings at Mt Hope Farm are fantastic. When you're planning a wedding there are so many decisions, big and small, some of which we felt a little clueless about! We really appreciate how patient, kind, and supportive they were throughout the entire process, not to mention how organized they are; in a sea of to-do-list items, they really kept us on track.
We could not have been happier about the end product. It was such a beautiful day, from start to finish. Staff on site were helpful and took care of everything, allowing us to enjoy the day fully. Guests remarked that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. It’s probably a wedding cliche, but it’s truly hard to imagine a more perfect day. -

My husband and I got married at the barn at Mount Hope Farm in October 2022 and are so happy we chose this venue for our wedding destination. The grounds at Mount Hope Farm are beautiful and unlike anything we had seen at other wedding venues. My family from Long Island, used to more traditional venues, was pleasantly surprised, and loved how different - and "us" our wedding felt. It was an absolutely pleasure working with Kelsey and the rest of the Morins team. She made the entire planning process simple and fun - and day-of execution went wonderfully under her management. Unfortunately, our plans for a fall, outdoor wedding were fully rained out as a hurricane made its way up the coast, but Kelsey kept positive, pivoting to our rain plan without a flinch. Honestly, her "everything's great!" attitude kept me from having a total meltdown about the weather and I'm so grateful for that because in the end, it was still such a beautiful day! Also, everyone still raves about how good the food was at our wedding! -

We couldn't be happier with our decision to celebrate our wedding day at Mount Hope Farm's Cove Cabin. Christina was our coordinator through Russell Morin's Catering — she was so responsive and kind throughout the entire planning process, answering every question we had and working with us to make the day ours. From the tasting and menu selection process, to the design details from Ryan Designs, everything was so clearly communicated and made it easy to make decisions. We truly didn't experience any of the typical wedding planning stress because we knew the team at Russell Morin's would handle everything we needed during planning on and our wedding day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and feels like you're in a fairy tale - it is truly a hidden gem in Rhode Island for folks looking for a stunning and unique outdoor waterfront venue! The food and drinks were amazing, and our family and friends told us all night that it was the best wedding they've been to (and are still reaching out to tell us!!). We truly cannot imagine having planned a wedding without Christina and the Morin's/Mount Hope Farm team! -

I spent a lot of time researching and visiting reputable venues. I had never been to Mount Hope Farm prior to our tour, but I am so happy I stumbled upon it. This venue is not only gorgeous, but it also comes with a high-quality experience through and through. . I know most couples feel that the venue they chose is best ever but honestly, Cove Cabin at Mount Hope Farm is truly magical and if you know, you know. The staff is reliable, accommodating, kind and organized. This venue Our wedding coordinator, Christina Frugale, made our wedding planning experience stress-free and enjoyable. Christina is kind, smart and professional. Christina checked in with us throughout the entire wedding process and was also impressively responsive with her emails and calls. I’m sure she was swamped, but she never gave off that vibe and we always heard back from her quickly. In all, Christina’s organizational skills and professionalism were top notch and I highly recommend.
Since our wedding on 9.2.22, we have seen many friends and family members who were wedding guests. Almost all of them have shared with my husband and I that Mount Hope Farm is their favorite venue they have attended with the best food, thus far.
The gorgeous white tent overlooking the water and the stunningly rustic yet elegant cabin are both respectively beautiful. While touring, I was able to envision how beautiful it might be on our wedding day when decorated with flowers, candles and more. On the day of our wedding the venue surpassed what I had envisioned. It was stunning, truly.
If you take anything away from my incredibly long-winded review please take this; tour The Cove Cabin at Mount Hope Farm. I promise you will thank me later. -

We had our Labor Day weekend wedding at the Cove Cabin & tent. The backdrop is so unreal and the service is out of this world. Beginning to end was so so easy. The venue is so beautiful you don’t need to go overboard with decor. Food was amazing, service and flexibility unparalleled. Rustic and chic all in one. -

From the beginning of our wedding planning process, we knew we wanted a barn venue. After our first site visit at Mt Hope, we immediately booked our date and it was the best decision. Our coordinator, Kelsey, was extremely responsive and beyond helpful. The garden ceremony and barn reception was beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned. We received many compliments on the food and impeccable service. If you are looking for a venue, do not hesitate in booking with the Morins teams at Mt Hope Farm. We will have the most amazing memories thanks to them! -

I do not have enough good things to say about our wedding at Mt. Hope Farm - Cove Cabin. While our opinion is biased (that it's the best wedding we've ever been to), many of our family and friends have made a point to reach out and say just how incredible this place and wedding was. From the stunning views, thoughtful attentive staff, and plentiful space, to the delicious foods and well-thought details. We opted for both the Del's stand and the firepit, which turned out to be huge hits among our guests.
Going back to the planning phase, everyone involved, Emily and Kacey, were not just incredible responsive but went out of their way to help us craft the perfect day. I (the bride) have celiac, and they quickly pulled together a call with the chef to ensure that they could do a 100% gluten free wedding so I would not have to stress about potentially getting sick. Nobody even noticed that everything was gluten free - down the bread rolls and the smore graham crackers!
The day of went without a hitch. The venue offers a ton of options for folks to dance on the dance floor, enjoy the nice views, walk and get some private space - something with COVID that our guests appreciated deeply.
I would 1000x over recommend this venue to anyone who wants an incredibly beautiful and meaningful wedding. You feel like you and your closest family friends are in this oasis in the middle of nowhere, and it's one of the best feelings in the world. -

Dream wedding
Mount Hope Farm was an absolute dream. We got married by the cove this past weekend and the whole day, I was just in awe at how beautiful my venue was. Not only that, but the staff at Mount hope farm hold your hand every step of the way during the planning process. They took so much weight off of my shoulders, because I knew they had every little detail under control. On the day of the wedding, I had my coordinator right by my side to keep me calm and take care of anything me or my bridal party needed. I truly felt like a princess. Every girl deserves their dream wedding… and Mount hope farm gave me mine. -

Best and Reasonable Venue
We had our Wedding at Mount Hope Farm September 10,2021. The Ceremony was in the garden area which was perfect for a guest count of 100 guests or less to make it more intimate. Then cocktail hour right next to the garden area in a grass area. We set up corn hole and was a very laid back atmosphere. The service was exceptional and they were very attentive to us. Our reception was in the Rustic Barn which provides a cozy feel . There is also a fireplace in the barn as well if your looking to do a ceremony in there as well. Kelsey and the fellow staff are great to work with and answered questions I had with a quick response. We highly recommend this venue. The price was great as well! -

When we booked this venue in 2019, we had no idea what 2020 would be bringing us. After deciding to postpone, Emily and her team were beyond supportive of every decision and detail surrounding the big day. They communicated all aspects in a timely manner, as the restrictions were constantly changing in the timeline leading up to the wedding. During that postponement period, Emily built our relationship and trust that we were in great hands. A million emails sent back and forth, fifteen proposals, a dozen calls, and we partnered to create the most amazing day ever. If anything did happen to not go to plan, I had no idea. Emily ran the rehearsal and the day with grace and expertise like no other. She was always open with what she needed from us, and made sure we were prepared for the day. Beyond Emily, the entire Russell Morin staff was the height of professionalism and service. Our newlywed attendant Jordan was an absolute dream, accommodating anything that we needed for our evening. This team fulfilled our every wedding day dream! -

Night of Our Dreams
We had the wedding of our dreams at Mount Hope Farm Cove Cabin! Liana, our coordinator, was so incredible at her job. She was with us every step of the way, from the tasting to the decor, and most importantly on the day of, Liana put our worries at ease and helped us have an incredible time.
Our wedding attendant, Heather, was there every time we turned to made sure we had a drink in hand.
The food was spectacular!! You know when you go to a wedding and the food is just, okay? That is not what you are going to get with Russell Morin Catering; the food was incredible. Everyone was raving about it at the wedding.
The view of the water from Cove Cabin, and secluded location is jaw droppingly beautiful. We were able to do such simple decor because the water and sunset were the focal point.

10/10 would recommend!
I got married at the Barn at Mount home Farm in October 2019. We absolutely LOVED the venue and working with Emily and Renee made the whole planning process so smooth and easy. Emily was very quick and responsive. She was so on top of every little detail that went into planning. Renee was with me on my actual day and was my life savior. She stayed by my side and made sure I had everything and anything I needed. The two of them are such a pleasure to work with, I wish we could do it all over again! I would recommend this venue, as well as both girls to anyone and everyone!! -

We could not have had a more wonderful wedding in the garden and reception in the Barn at Mount Hope Farm. The garden made the perfect natural setting for our ceremony, and was followed by the most divine outdoor cocktail hour complete with an amazing raw bar, excellent hors d'oeuvres, and a Del's lemonade cart. The barn was the perfect size for our reception of 100 people, and was so beautiful lit up with the string lights. Russel Morin's did an excellent job with the food, the staff was extremely professional, and Emily was truly amazing as our event coordinator. She made everything run so smoothly that we were able to have a completely stress-free and joyous day. We are so happy we chose Mount Hope Farm and can't recommend it enough. -

Finally got around to writing this review! Mount Hope Farm is hands down the best place to get married. We got married at the Cove Cabin and it was perfect. We worked with Paige who is wonderful and made the planning process as easy as possible. She also made sure that everything was perfect the day of our wedding. I cannot tell you what a wonderful experience our daughter's wedding was at Mt. Hope Farm. Emily is a wonder and amazing to work with. The attention to detail, availability, and responsiveness made what can be a very stressful process absolutely seamless. Everything from the food, service, and venue was top notch. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed the evening and that the venue was so impressive. One guest said she felt like she was in a Hallmark movie! This was our third and last child's wedding and all I can say is I wish we had found this venue earlier! Thanks for a magical evening! -

The Cozy Cabin & Astonishing View
We recently got married at Cove Cabin on June 14th 2019 and it was truly an amazing day! The views of Mount Hope Bay and Bridge are breath taking. We were married on the lawn by the trees facing the bay (the scenery is gorgeous – no need for arbor) and had our reception in the cabin. The weather was perfect for lawn games and cocktails on the porch. The cabin has a rustic-cozy vibe that can be turned into anything you imagine. It was perfect for us, as we had an intimate wedding of 55 people. Thanks to Emily and Liana our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more! The duo are incredibly friendly, quick at responding and answering any questions, even sent out reminders – they went above and beyond! It was a lovely experience to have worked with them and would highly recommend the venue! -

We had an absolutely perfect wedding at Mount Hope Farm (Barn). The venue itself is stunning and well groomed. Beautiful gardens, gorgeous barn, and amazing green lawns. The food was fantastic. The overall flow and space was perfect. It felt both spacious and cozy. The barn was the perfect size for our 100-person wedding and 7-piece band. The wedding was truly spectacular and everything we hoped it would be. We shopped around at many places in Rhode Island, and this captured our hearts. We are so happy we made this choice (and the pictures really reinforce the beauty of the space!).
The personnel at Mount Hope Farm and Russell Morin were phenomenal. Emily in particular. She guided us through the process and planning with ease and confidence. She was such a great project manager with attention to detail, a knack for making good decisions in the moment, and a commitment to our vision for the ceremony/reception. She was an anchoring presence throughout the process. We felt grateful to have her guiding us along.
Overall, we couldn't recommend this place enough. -

The grounds are beautiful and the view is even more amazing. We loved working with the event planner Paige. She responded to me very quickly and was extremely helpful. In addition, Russell Morins food is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Mount Hope Farms as your wedding venue!

Marianne Sent on 07/12/2018"Mount Hope Farm was the perfect place to hold my son's rehearsal dinner. The grounds were green and well maintained, and the barn had character (in the best way!). Most importantly, the staff at Mount Hope Farm made it easy to coordinate this event remotely. Although I wasn't there in-person to ensure things were going as planned, I never felt as though I needed to be. They were thorough and professional, and I felt like I could trust them with the details of this important day. Once the celebration came, the on-site staff carried on this level of professionalism. They were attentive to our every need, and ensured our guests had an evening to remember! The catering by Russel Morin was delicious and plentiful. A microphone for speeches might have been helpful. This event space wil make the perfect backdrop for your photographer.

My husband and I married at Mount Hope Farm Cove Cabin on June 8, 2024 and had a magical day. As an event planner myself, I knew instantly this would be our venue and was thrilled to learn Russell Morin was the exclusive caterer. We first worked with Liana for the venue tour and initial quote and then had the pleasure of working with Christina Frugale for the rest of our planning and day-of. Russell Morin was able to accommodate all dietary restrictions in our group (gluten-free, dairy-free, veg/vegan, nut allergies, etc.) and made sure everyone felt taken care of. Our guests raved about the food, the venue, and the professionalism of the staff touting this as one of the best weddings they've attended. We highly recommend this venue and these partners. A few tips:
- If you're not a planner, you might want outside help selecting furniture - it's a lot of space to fill
- A round bar on the shell driveway is a show-stopper
- Get the raw bar
- Get the fire pit
- Make sure your tasting is everything you want it to be and give feedback where needed -

Mt. Hope Farm Cove Cabin is a stunning venue. While pricey, I found the value to be worth it for the quality of service and exceptional food. Bristol is a lesser-known wedding location, but it's truly special. From the ceremony under the trees to the open-air cabin to the large, lovely tent with an incredible view of the Mount Hope Bridge, the on-site experience is both convenient and dynamic. We also stayed at the Inn which, again, is pricey, but so charming and awesome for photos and guests hanging after the reception. There are rigid rules and guidelines, but that's understandable. We loved our wedding there - unforgettable! -

Cristin Sent on 06/17/2013This is such a beautiful venue. The staff at the inn are friendly and accommodating. We used the garden for our ceremony and cocktails and the barn for our reception. It's a beautiful spot. I stayed at the inn for 2 nights they have a really nice breakfast. The one draw back if you are looking for a venue that has guest accommodations is there is a 2 night minimum for rooms and it is not listed on there web site -

We had a wonderful wedding at the Cove Cabin at Mount Hope Farm in July 2023. Our Russell Morin coordinator, Christina, was fantastic to work with. She was organized, responsive, and walked us through every step of the planning process. When the weather was looking dicey before our wedding day, Christina also kept us very calm.
Everything from the venue, to decor, to food was exactly what we hoped for. The raw bar was phenomenal and definitely worth it. Passed desserts were also a huge hit. We can really only say great things about the food. We received tons of compliments from our guests for a truly lovely day. We are grateful to Mount Hope Farm for being a perfect backdrop for it!

Seriously, stop looking - Mount Hope Farm & specifically Cove Cabin is magical. We got married Memorial Day Weekend, which was super cold + rainy - working with Liana to change up our plan for our ceremony + reception could not have been easier. She made everything a cinch, and most importantly kept my husband and I calm throughout the process. We worked with her from start to finish with everything from the food (the food, omg not only best wedding food but maybe best food ever?), cocktails, decor, everything - she was the best! The natural beauty of this venue is just a bonus after working with their awesome team. Could not recommend Mount Hope Farm more!
