From start to finish, our experience at Mount Hope was nothing short of magical! As huge fans of the PA Ren Faire, choosing this venue was an obvious choice for us, but the entire team, particularly Nicole and Brenna, truly made our wedding dreams come to life.
Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but the team at Mount Hope made it feel effortless. From our very first inquiry to the final goodbyes, their kindness and responsiveness shone through every step of the way. They took our menu requests seriously and helped us create a delicious custom menu, while accommodating the dietary needs of several of our guests. They designed and printed beautiful signage for the day that perfectly captured our theme. They even remembered details that we had mentioned in our meetings, but had forgotten about (naming the signature cocktails after our cats, as an example). And day of, the bartenders, servers, and other Mount Hope employees we encountered were equally kind, easy to talk to, and accommodating.
Even when we had last-minute changes, the team handled it all with grace and enthusiasm. Their ability to adapt and go with the flow made us feel so supported, allowing us to truly enjoy the process. In fact, it was so seamless that we decided to host our rehearsal dinner on-site as well, which turned out to be a fantastic decision.
Our friends and family kept commenting on how relaxed we seemed throughout the planning process, and we owe that peace of mind entirely to the incredible staff at Mount Hope. Thanks to their professionalism and warm-heartedness, we had a beautiful, fun, and unforgettable wedding that exceeded all our expectations.
We can't wait to return to Mount Hope for the Ren Faire year after year, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique, and easy to work with venue! -

My husband and I found Mount Hope on WeddingWire, and were ecstatic to find out it was the location of the PA Renaissance Faire that we had attended in previous years. After finding out that our date was available, we both knew that this venue was meant for us.
The staff at MH is simply wonderful. Brenna was with us every step of the way, and went out of her way to make sure our needs and desires were met. We chose to do both our ceremony and reception dinner in the upstairs loft area, and it was absolutely beautiful.
Another thing that sets Mount Hope apart is their onsite catering. We were able to create an entirely custom menu that fit our budget and tastes, and the quality and customization of the food was simply amazing. Not to mention, the liquors, wines, beers, and ciders that are all made on property!
Lastly, the aesthetics of the location are simply gorgeous. The interior of the barn gave the perfect inviting feel we wanted, while the grounds provided amazing and unique photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
I cannot sing the praises of Mount Hope loudly enough, our wedding was everything we hoped it could be and more. -

The wedding venue was perfect—beautiful outside ceremony location against the mansion wall. The reception was in a great location as well where people could freely move from the barn to the patio area where there was a cornhole and a fire pit so many options for the guests which we loved about this location. Nicole and Brenna the venue coordinators were very helpful and flexible in helping us plan our wedding how we envisioned it to be. -

The days leading up to the wedding were so stress free, I didn't have to worry about a thing because Brenna and Kelly had all the details down. They helped make our day beautiful and for that I can't thank them enough. I would recommend everyone get married here because it was simply amazing! -

Right after we toured Mount Hope, we knew that this was the venue where we were going to get married at. Nicole gave us a great tour of the property and made a great overall first impression. Nicole and Brenna were very helpful throughout the wedding planning process and answered any questions that we had very promptly. They were always polite and welcomed our questions. Nicole and Brenna cared that both of us had an amazing wedding day from start to finish and that it ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the house-crafted beverages were very good as well. The menu was very customizable and we got a lot of good reviews from our wedding guests about the food and drinks. The Mount Hope team was very thoughtful, and any bride and groom are going to have an awesome experience with this team. We look forward to visiting Mount Hope for a tasting soon! -

High Quality and Low Maintenance
Amazing staff to take care of everything and make the day exactly as you want. Food is amazing. Had to use their beverages- which made it both high quality and easy. The venue is gorgeous- we barely needed any decorations. We felt supported throughout the whole process and through the entire day (and afterward!) 100% recommended. -

Brought Our Wedding Dreams to Life
We selected Mount Hope as the venue for our wedding and couldn't be happier with the decision. From the first meeting to the end of the reception they were an absolute pleasure to work with- super responsive and accommodating in all of our requests, even weird ones like asking them to make oatmeal cream pies for dessert in lieu of a more traditional wedding dessert. They were also super thoughtful in several ways, such as sending the bride a bouquet of flowers 30 days before the wedding as well as making sure we (the bride and groom) had a tray of food and drinks to enjoy from cocktail hour after the ceremony while we were busy taking pictures. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an excellent team to walk you through the whole process! -

We had a small, intimate microwedding at Mt. Hope's distillery. The venue exceeded all our expectations! The staff was incredibly professional and friendly and Brenna, Nicole, and the staff members made sure all our needs were taken care of prior to and during the event. They responded to all our inquiries in a timely manner and made sure the venue was personalized to our preferences. No wedding horror stories here; the day of, we had absolutely no hiccups! Our experience with Mount Hope Estates and Winery was amazing. From our first contact with Nicole, the Group Sales Manager, to our tour of the venue, we knew this is where we were meant to be married. We had a micro-wedding May 16, 2021, with 24 guests. The ceremony location at the back of the mansion and the reception in the distillery were absolutely beautiful. Also, use of the bridal suite for hair/make-up was so convenient. The photo opportunities on their grounds are stunning! The entire staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect and the attention to detail was impeccable! Nicole also connected us with Doug, who was our Officiant and who was so much fun to work with! Food was amazing and as I have to eat gluten free, the Chef came up with the most delicious alternatives, so I could fully enjoy the food too! Our package included an open bar and if you have never had Mount Hope wines, ciders, mead and spirits, you have to try them! All of our guests raved about every aspect of our wedding. Thank you Nicole and the entire Mount Hope team for making our day more than we could have ever imagined! Stef and Jay -

My husband and I had a micromony at Mount Hope, it was a small but packed a punch. The time Nicole took to understand what we wanted for our big day made a world of difference. They CARE! From the moment you decide you are interested and want a tour, to picking a menu, to choosing where on the property you want your event, they are on it.
We're big foodies, so naturally good cuisine was a priority for us. The chef literally made our dream menu and then it was paired delicious beverages. I highly recommend the coconut cream rum!
Every staff member that was part of our day really went above and beyond. -

We booked the Barn at Mount Hope for our wedding in March of 2019. Little did we know it would be rescheduled twice due to Covid-19. Nicole worked with us through everything from start to finish, twice and even sent us small tokens to let us know we weren't forgotten over the two years. We really appreciated her attention to detail and her willingness to help us in this crazy hectic time. Nicole and her team were amazing from 2019 to 2021 and we couldn't have been happier with the event. The wine was delicious and we made new cider fans out of some family members with that amazing blueberry cider. The Barn was a gorgeous venue for the wedding we had and the Renaissance Fair backdrop only added to the feeling. It was a truly magical evening for us. -

Exceptional experience
I got married in July 2020 - peak of Covid-19 pandemic - and asked Mount Hope to help me a host a drive in socially distanced wedding. It was exceptional! The staff is absolutely wonderful and made my family feel so safe and welcomed. The location is absolutely beautiful. They definitely went above and beyond. -

Mount Hope Classy Venue
Mount Hope is an excellent wedding venue! Their staff exceeded expectations in every aspect of the event. The Mount Hope team walked me through the event and had wonderful flexibility and options. If you are looking for a classy event location this winery takes the cake. A big thank you to all the staff members especially Nicole the Group Sales Manager and their star event coordinator Patty. They were imperative to the success of the wedding event. it was better than I could have ever imagined! -

This venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out!! It is a such an awesome space. It's close to the Renaissance Faire, but yet far enough away to feel like a separate place. Nicole was awesome and such a pleasure to work with. She was super flexible and helpful and answered all of our questions. She really wanted to make sure our wedding day was perfect and everything we wanted. We got so many compliments from our guests about how awesome and beautiful our venue was and how good the food and drinks were too! Our guests enjoyed our day here just as much as we did. I would highly recommend Mt Hope Estate & Winery to any couple looking for an incredible wedding venue! -

Our Dream Wedding!!
Mt. Hope Winery made our dream wedding come true. Due to COVID 19, at the last minute we had to change our original venue. The Mt. Hope staff were able to fully accommodate and help the transition to their venue. We could not have asked for a nicer staff to help us prepare for our wedding day. We would recommend this venue to anyone for any reason. We are planning on using this venue again for future events. -

I had my wedding here 9/4/2020. They were very professional and flexible. We had to postpone from our original date, 5/29/2020, this process was very smooth and simple. The venue is gorgeous and there are a million unique places to take pictures. We also chose to have Divine Swine cater our wedding, the food was delicious and not you typical boring wedding food. We were also able to select the types of beer, wine, and cider we wanted to have. They made sure all of our favorites were available. Nicole and Michael went above and beyond helping us with anything and everything. -

My daughter's bridal shower was the first even at this venue; therefore, I was expecting a few hiccups, but I can honestly tell you there was NONE! Every guest was so impressed with the beauty of the place. I highly recommend this venue to everyone. I was asked to give any constructive criticism and there was none to offer!

Mount Hope was our dream venue we didn't know about. The backdrop of the renaissance faire, the multiple areas to have a ceremony, the honestly amazing staff (including a chef who takes pride in every meal being restaurant quality and a bartender who likes a challenge), and the availability of an afterparty area was a dream. Each member of the staff made sure that every possible detail was accounted for to make sure our day went off without a hitch. Our guests continuously spoke of the awe inspiring views and scenes during our ceremony and reception. The food was even better than our tasting and the head chef took special steps for our evening. The availability of an afterparty was a perfect opportunity to have an intimate time with our guests after the chaos. -

Wedding 2019
My husband and I had our wedding at this venue. We used their wine, beer, and cider which was AWESOME. We also used their caterer Divine Swine and the food was amazing. Nicole was awesome and very quick at responding. The day overall, was organized and the venue looked beautiful. Can’t express enough how awesome it was with them. It was decorated for the ren faire and it all tied into the day, I wish I could go back! -
