Amazing DJ!

From the first time I spoke with Chris over the phone, I knew we were gonna be in good hands on our wedding day. He was always quick with responses and helpful with any questions. Then when it came time for the wedding, it was party time from start to finish. Absolutely nailed it in every aspect.

Absolutely amazing

Wow. From the moment we booked on, Chris was nothing short of amazing. The research he does for you, the meeting where you go over from start to finish is above and beyond my expectations. It’s been several weeks from our big day and people are still talking about how we had the best DJ ever. (Even saying they wished they booked him for their wedding, oops)

He can read the room better than any DJ I’ve ever met. He knew when to play what. People did not leave the dance floor all night because of him. He made my wedding experience more than I could imagine. There’s no debate, he’s the best out there. Thank you Chris! ❤️

Unbelievable!

Dj Chris so far and beyond exceeded our expectations! He was extremely responsive, and met our every want and need! The entire wedding was dancing from the time the music started until it stopped. I would recommend Dj Chris a million times over again!

Dj chris is amazing!

Motion Productions/DJ Chris exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding reception! We were very picky about who we hired as our DJ because my husband loves music and dancing and wanted someone that would keep us entertained and engaged! DJ excelled at that! DJ Chris was also very responsive and helpful to answer all our questions and took the time to thoroughly understand what we were looking for! Additionally, he double check pronunciation and details for introducing the bridal party and family so that everything was perfect! (We had some complicated names in the bridal party!) DJ Chris was overall AMAZING and even made some last minute changes and kept all the guests entertained during cocktail hour when the bridal party’s arrival got delayed! Motion Production’s uplighting was also a great addition to the reception venue! It really pulled everything together! We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Motion Products/DJ Chris! You won’t be disappointed!

Life of the Party 9.5.21

From our first meeting with DJ Chris, to our wedding day, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. We were able to give him a peak into how we wanted the night to go, but he provided a professional effort to make the vibe of the night incredible. DJ Chris is more than a laptop with a playlist. He is a top end DJ who can mix and flow music to keep the fun going. To top it off, DJ Chris brought glow sticks to our wedding reception that added another element of fun to our dance party. We couldn’t recommend him and his team enough to those looking for an easygoing, fun DJ for their wedding!

Amazing DJ

Motion Productions DJ'd our wedding on 10/10/20, and it was amazing!! Chris was extremely easy to work with leading up to the wedding, and he made the reception run smoothly. DJ Chris and his assistant kept the night moving and always just found me and the groom when they needed us. I didn't have to worry about anything except having a good time. People were always on the dance floor, and I loved the music all night long. I highly recommend Motions Productions for your wedding or event!!

Absolutely Amazing, Made My Wedding Perfect!

Looking for a DJ? Seriously look NO further! DJ Chris is absolutely incredible! From day one all the way through to the wedding day DJ Chris made sure to keep up to date with everything going on surrounding our wedding day and all changes due to COVID. He was super easy to get a hold of if we had any questions and always made us feel so special and like we were the only wedding he had to worry about even though we know he was super busy. He made sure to only play exactly what we wanted and he made the night amazing, we received so many compliments on our event but music was one of the most popular compliments. Best dj ever!

Not only is DJ Chris is the best DJ ever he is the nicest guy ever! He made our wedding so much fun and played all types of music for the old to young crowd. He listened to what we wanted and also provided his own expert suggestions. He made the wedding reception flow perfectly and because of him we had the wedding of our dreams! Our guests are still coming up to us a week later telling us how fun our wedding was and how they loved the music from DJ Chris. If you’re looking for a DJ make sure you get DJ Chris!!!

If you are looking for the most amazing dj in Pittsburgh you landed on the right page. Dj Chris was absolutely amazing. Not only was he an amazing dj but he’s also an amazing person. He helped guide our night to be one of the most perfect nights possible. His assistant Amy guided every step of our night and agenda. Amy and Chris both became new friends of ours this night. We absolutely couldn’t of done it without them. A flexible experienced dj

We loved DJ Chris, he put us at ease. Our wedding day had many little glitches including 12 hours of rain in a mostly outdoor venue. Chris rolls with the punches and makes the bride and groom feel comfortable and he had our dance floor moving quickly.

Cool, collected, and FUN!

DJ Chris was recommended to me by a friend and did not disappoint. He was organized, calm, and professional. He only announced / played the music we wanted that night - e.g. he held firm to our "do not play" list (even when it was a family request). We also had a few unique versions of songs to play during the ceremony, and he incorporated and played each one with excellent quality and impeccable timing the day-of. Chris was also very flexible - which was especially important given a last-minute change to an indoor location due to rain. And he definitely kept the party rocking -- so much so that even the catering staff was dancing along to the music! Highly recommend!

New Years Eve

The most epic event of 2018!! Chris and Amy were amazing! All night they kept my guest on the dance floor and the music never stopped. Beyond our expectations!

e were married on 12/14/18, and I have people that text me daily and say they want to go back and do my wedding over! This is because of Dj Chris and Amy (his wife Jen is also awesome). The dance floor was full the entire night! No one wanted to leave the dancefloor because song after song everyone was having the time of their life. He did my brother's wedding as well as some of my friends and time after time I am amazed at his talents and professionalism as well.

Dj Chris also did our ceremony and I loved it to the fullest, it was a modern twist too. We chose to do songs with lyrics as well. But you can choose from any music of your choice! I will never forget my ceremony because of him!

Lastly, Dj Chris is so organized and on it. He has a meeting with you before and truly keeps you on such a schedule that makes your night run too smoothly and you get all the important parts in all while enjoying your night.

I promise you DO NOT WAIT, book Dj Chris/Motions Productions now. If you wait and miss out you will regret it. We appreciate him so much and cannot think of anyone else we would have rather had rock our big day!

Awesome!!!

Dj Chris and his wife were simply amazing! They went above and beyond to make our ceremony and reception absolutely perfect. We have received so many wonderful compliments about his perfect playlist for both the older and younger crowd at our wedding. He kept the dance floor packed all night and played just the right songs at just the right moments! From the ceremony music, announcing the bridal party, dinner music to dancing, all of his selections were amazing and kept all of our guests engaged all night! Chris is hands down the best DJ!!! My husband and I truly had the best wedding ever thanks to him and his assistant that night, Amy. Music and dancing was our top priority for the night and Chris kept everyone dancing the whole night! In fact, no one wanted to leave!!! The dancefloor was still filled when the lights were on and our wedding was over. He did an awesome job feeling out our crowd and playing what everyone wanted to hear. One important thing I’d like to mention too is that his introductions and guidance through the night are untouchable. Chris and Amy made sure that everything flowed perfectly and kept the crowd hyped. I cannot begin to thank them enough for making our day so memorable. We still have people talking about how great our wedding was! So, look no further for a DJ...because he is honestly the best in the business.

Fantastic And Professional Job!

Trying to plan a wedding from outside of Pittsburgh was difficult, but working with DJ Chris went about as seamless as you can get. He was always available to answer any questions leading up to the wedding, and was more than willing to make any last minute requests to the song selections. Chris was able to keep the dance floor packed all night with fun for all ages. Amy also kept us (bride and groom) in check with updates on what was coming up next throughout the evening. Days after the wedding, we kept receiving compliments on how great the music selection was, and the professionalism of both DJ Chris and Amy. If you want to have a rockstar wedding with a full dance floor, definitely go with Motions Productions! You will not be let down!

Where do I begin? I've known DJ Chris and Jen for a while now, and had the honor of working with them once previously before my wedding. I knew there was only one serious choice to seek out for the most important day of my life - and that was Motions Productions. The most important quality in a wedding vendor, especially one as important as the DJ and emcee for the evening, is trustworthiness. I can gladly say that I put all of my ideas and trust into DJ Chris and his work, and the wedding day reception was completely stress-free because of his flawless execution. All my husband and I had to do was completely enjoy ourselves, dance, eat, and have fun. They took care of the entire timeline, letting us know when important dances and events were going to happen that evening. It was so extremely convenient to have them have our backs the entire time, and everything went off without a hitch, completely on schedule, and completely perfect in my eyes. The music played was something that everyone enjoyed, no matter what age. I have never seen so many people I love, together in one place, have so much fun and be filled so completely with happiness and love, than I have on my wedding day. This entire event, the most important day of my life, the start of a new chapter in our book of life, could not have been possible without Chris, his assistant, and all of his help and selflessness along the way. I would gladly recommend Motions Productions to any and al couples, for weddings big or small. Having a good host for the evening is great, but having the best host for your special event is an investment that you will remember for the rest of your life!

My husband and I just got married this past Saturday at the youghiogheny country club and Dj Chris and his wife Jen couldn’t have done a more amazing job! Jen always made sure I had everything I needed and came to get us whenever we were needed and kept us updated the entire night, Dj Chris couldn’t have done a more amazing job on the music choices and the way he conducted the entire reception! DJ Chris definitely exceeded our expectations at our wedding last month. From coordinating the playlist for our ceremony to keeping the dance floor packed during the reception, we were more than pleased with how everything turned out. DJ Chris was absolutely amazing at our recent wedding reception! From the planning process to the day of, he was so professional, thorough, and genuinely excited to be a part of our wedding. I really appreciated how he kept our guests engaged at the reception by announcing what event was coming next-- like the cake cutting, bridal dance and our other special dances/songs. Our reception was organized and our guests did not miss out on the important events. More importantly, DJ Chris and his assistant Amy read the crowd perfectly and selected songs that kept a ton of our guests dancing all night! DJ Chris and Jen are absolutely amazing! My husband, Tom and I worked with them for our wedding on 9/30/17 at the Greensburg Country Club. Our guests had an amazing time and DJ Chris was a big part of that. Our dance floor was packed all night long and he read the crowd so well that no one felt left out. Where to begin? My husband and I had our wedding on September 23, 2017 at the Sunset Room and we could not have asked for a better DJ than Chris! Chris was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day. Chris and his wife Jen are a great couple and were so much fun to work with! Throughout our night, they made sure to check in on us and make sure we did not need anything. Jen notified us on what was coming next throughout the night as well. It made everything run so smoothly and took the pressure and stress off of us. Chris played a great selection of music from the beginning to the end. He and his wife, kept our guest dancing all evening. Our dance floor was NEVER empty! Our guest raved about the music continually during the reception and are STILL talking about it a month later. Chris and Jen went above and beyond and we could not have asked for a better night! It was very important for us to have a good DJ and Chris exceeded out expectations. He was worth every penny and more. We would recommend him for any wedding or special event!

Chris was the best DJ we could have possibly asked for! We have been to so many weddings with such an odd flow of events and really wanted smooth and quick transitions at ours to allow the maximum time on the dance floor. Chris did a great job of moving everything along without anything feeling rushed! Then, when we started dancing, the dance floor was packed the entire night! We have some crazy fun friends and family, but Chris really helped to keep the party going! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a great time at their wedding. DJ Chris absolutely rocked our wedding reception at the Grand Hall at the Priory. From the announcement of the bridal party to dinner music to dancing, his song selections were on point. He kept our reception flowing smoothly. Our dance floor was packed the entire night. Our wedding guests have raved about him and said he was the best DJ they ever experienced. He even had my 87 year old Grandmother on the dance floor for most of the night. In fact, people who weren't at our wedding told us that they heard what a great DJ we had at our wedding reception. Chris KNOWS the type of music that guests want to hear during dinner hour and on the dance floor. Our guests NEVER even left the dance floor. He knows how to keep the beats going! Moreover, Amy and Chris were so accommodating during the reception.. They were always asking my husband and I if we needed a drink or anything else. He also took pictures of us. Pretty sure those are not even in their job descriptions. Very nice and fun people!

All of his services are reasonably priced and worth the extra money. We used DJ Chris's light up wall monogram- it added a nice touch to our reception. We also used his fuscia uplighting.. It made our ballroom look even more fun and beautiful. My favorite addition was the confetti cannon... My husband and I walked in our ballroom for introductions and then the confetti cannon went off. It was a great photo opportunity. Even better, Chris put off another cannon during the middle of the reception. It was a nice surprise.. Even for us! Thank you DJ Chris!!!

BEST DJ EVER! This guy listens and then goes above and beyond. We had so many special request and he fulfilled them all! We could not be happier with the services provided. They made sure to give everyone notice on what was going on next, track people down if they were missing, and organized our videographer, photographer and other special vendors for us to make sure that every special moment was captured. He had the dance floor going all night after dinner service was completed and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding. Thanks Chris!

I LOVED my experience! We met with DJ Chris about our wedding, told him our first dance, parent dance choices and THAT WAS IT. His music all night was ON POINT. We even got a ton of compliments about his choices during cocktail hour! The dance floor was never empty. If the dance floor started to get a little sparse, he'd switch the song and 30 seconds later the dance floor would be full again! I don't know how he did it. He played a great mix of classics, modern, everything! His wife Jenn will communicate with you about when they'll start the first dances, everything. Our photographer was done at 8 pm so they were sure to get all the dances including the money dance, lots of fun crowd dances, and the surprise confetti cannon in before they left. And nothing ever felt rushed or like they were trying to pack it all in! We are so grateful... They made everything wonderful!! Thank you!

One of the most important things you can do for your wedding is hire a DJ that knows what they are doing and knows how to get the party started. DJ Chris and his wife Jen were a dream come true for our wedding. I know that my husband and I could not have had anybody better to make our night perfect. Chris handled EVERY detail. From structure of the night, to the best songs to play at the best time, he is your guy. He had met with us prior to the wedding to go over our taste of music, the age of the crowd, what we wanted to hear, and what we did not want to hear. He has done over 500 weddings so he had a lot of great advice for us as well. On the day of the wedding, my maid of honor asked him if he could play the instrumental to Fresh prince of bell air for her speech. Our reception hall did not have Wifi and Chris rushed to some place close to get WiFi and actually downloaded the song for her. That is just one example of how he goes above and beyond to make your wedding the best experience possible. The dinner music selection was phenomenal. The catering company actually approached me and said that this was the best dinner she had ever seen. The music was so upbeat that our guests were dancing and singing at their tables. The whole entire night the dance floor was packed, and that is what I wanted. I was so afraid that my guests would be bored and not dance, but DJ Chris did not let that happen. It was so much fun. His music selection was great and his interaction with the crowd was fantastic. So many people came up to us at the end of the night telling us that our wedding was by the far the best and most fun wedding they have ever been to and that our DJ was perfect. His wife Jen was my rock through the whole night. She approached us throughout the entire time checking in to inform us when we needed to be present for a certain dance, if we wanted to hear any certain song, and even made sure we had a drink in our hand. DJ Chris and his wife Jen are truly the dynamic duo and exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding day. We literally just had to show up and they handled the rest. Chris had met with us prior to the wedding and worked around our hectic schedules, always responding to our email quickly and thoroughly. He's detailed and has a deep knowledge of music and how to handle a crowd. Our taste of music is very broad and we were worried how it could be pulled out without making uncomfortable transitions for anyone. DJ Chris and his wife were able to play 1930-50s Frank Sinatra/rock and roll, to Johnny Cash, to Rick James, to Pit Bull and Drake. Everyone raved to us about how great the music selection was and the best time they have had at a wedding. The dance floor was never empty! Chris' wife, Jen, was a saint! She checked on us throughout the night, kept us informed of when we needed to be present, and even made sure we had a drink! My husband and I cannot believe how amazing the service was that we received from Chris and Jen and we are beyond grateful for both of them. They love what they do and it truely shows. Our wedding day was the best day and it was because of them.

When my husband and I met with DJ Chris in person to go over the details of our wedding, at the end of the conversation I couldn't thank him enough because he was the first vendor to make me feel totally relaxed and at ease and I knew our guests ears were in good hands! He and his wife Jen work so well together and kept up with us throughout the entire night, moving and shaking with all of our needs, changes and requests. His uplighting made our reception look even more magical and he played the BEST variety of music - our guests did not want to stop dancing! I'm pretty sure it was their first conga line led by someone pushing our aunt in a wheel chair who had a blast! DJ Chris / Motions Productions / Chris & Jen - any way you look at it they are the absolute best in what they do. Chris isn't just a DJ but when he does it's only a fraction of what comes with the package and is out of this world. He met with us in person numerous times prior to the wedding day to review requirements and go over details. He is very detail oriented (which I like). If there were any questions he did not hesitate to ask and even offer his professional advice. We had to work with a special arrangement drum line that was a surprise and Chris took it upon himself to coordinate with their director. Then comes the actual day. We are introduced to Jen. I walked into the venue and they were all set up and ready to go. I can't say enough about the quality and smooth sailing that they did for us. Chris did a fabulous job with the introductions / name pronunciations and seeing we had 19 people in the wedding party that was no small task! Jen was constantly checking on my wife and I to see if there was anything we needed or to advise us that we needed to be present soon for an upcoming event. We had people on the dance floor all night and I can't say anything better about them both as professionals and as a couple. Phenomenal and highly recommend. You will NOT be disappointed.

Wow! Cannot express how great DJ Chris and Motions Productions were for my wedding. DJ Chris was always professional when we spoke over the phone, texted, or emailed each other. He even came all the way out to my parents house location to meet us (a Panera in Irwin, PA) so that we didn't have to worry about driving to far to meet him. (We lived in Wheeling, WV during the wedding planning process) He was so kind when talking to us about what songs we wanted for the ceremony and reception. He even let us e-mail or text him songs we wanted to add up until the day before the wedding. We did not feel rushed and felt like all of our decisions were made in an appropriate fashion. (I would have hated to choose a first dance song and then a week later find a better one - but he let us change everything almost up until the day of the wedding!) The ceremony music was great (or so I'm told, it was kind of a blur for me) and so was the reception. Both young and old alike enjoyed all of the variety of music being played.

The very first thing I did when my husband and I began the wedding-planning process was contact DJ Chris. I didn't want anyone else to play at our wedding, and we were both so happy when he had our date available! We've only ever heard great things about him, so we were thrilled to have him as our DJ!

From the beginning, DJ Chris was very professional, helpful, and always got back to us in a timely manner any time we had questions. DJ Chris provided our ceremony and reception music, as well as our uplighting and monogram. The music was great--he played a great mix of everything we wanted, along with some of his own great song choices! His wife was absolutely awesome and kept us informed throughout the night. I’ll begin by saying I cannot say enough great things about Motions Productions, DJ Chris, or his wonderful wife Jenn.

The music at our wedding was one of the most important factors for us being that our family, friends, and I love to dance and have fun. Two weeks before our wedding, we found out that the DJ that our venue had for us was underwhelming and that they had been getting horrible feedback on the DJ. I immediately messaged DJ Chris and thankfully he was available on our wedding day! With just two weeks until the wedding Chris met with us, talked through the contract, went through our playlist, and even made a special mixed song for me and my son’s special dance. From the second we were announced to the last song the dance floor was packed! Chris played a variety of music from every decade and genre; I watched how when each song was played my guests went nuts with excitement especially when hearing ones they haven't heard in years!

Chris I can't thank you enough for such an amazing night. You and Jenn went above and beyond to make Nick and I happy and I can honestly say we had the best night of our lives! The night ran smoothly thanks to Jenn keeping us on track and making sure everything was on schedule, even given some initial chaos in our day. Our guests are still raving about the music and you were everything I was praying for in a DJ; cool, calm and collective and in touch with the crowd. You incorporated the music with different portions of the evening well and took cues from us and the people in attendance, stayed away from corny nonsense, and played tracks people love and at the right times. You never took a break and had everyone on the dance floor with smiles on their faces! You even brought the confetti canon for us which I’m sure will make awesome pictures and had the guests going wild. Nick and I would recommend Motions Productions and DJ Chris to anyone that is looking to have the time of their lives on their wedding day!

Chris was the best dj we could have ever asked for, professional from the beginning! He did everything we wanted and more. From the first meeting we could tell he was the one for us. He listened to everything we said and helped us make decisions. He was calming (which is something engaged couples really need while planning their wedding!) and so kind and friendly. It was obvious he had a lot of experience and would do a good job. He played all the music we requested for the wedding and reception, including my husband and I singing to each other (previously recorded) as we walked down the aisle. Chris even played 'Frozen' songs, several times, for our little granddaughters and took other requests from our guests. He and his assistant, his wife, kept things going and entertaining. I would, and have already, recommend Motion Productions to everyone!

DJ Chris and his wife Jen went above and beyond to make sure our reception was amazing! Chris met with us prior to the wedding to go over the timeline, make suggestions, and answer any and all questions we had! He was very prompt when returning messages, we were even texting him songs for our "must play" list up until a few days before the wedding, and Chris always responded that he was happy to add them! On the day of the wedding, Chris and Jen kept us up to date on the order of events, and they kept the flow of the reception running smoothly! On top of all that, Chris kept the party going all night long!! We had a variety of age groups at the reception, and everyone enjoyed the music and danced all night! Hands down, DJ Chris is the BEST DJ in Pittsburgh! From the jump, Chris was so helpful in planning our wedding! We provided him with a timeline and he made some helpful suggestions that made our reception truly ROCK! He was so responsive to any and all of our requests and replied promptly to all calls, emails, and texts. He helped to make our ceremony and our reception run so smoothly, even though we had more than a few hiccups. Chris and his wife Jenn (who kept us informed as to what was coming and helped gather people when we needed them) were like having a day of coordinator! Chris was the DJ for our 04/11/2015 wedding reception. Chris and his wife Jennifer provided everything I could have asked for in a DJ and more. DJ Chris was included in my wedding package with the Youghiogheny Country club and this could not have been a better match. I have never seen a DJ take care of a bride and groom the way Chris and Jennifer do. They were on top of moving everything along and making sure I was where I needed to be and even though they kept it together I might have been a little bad at keeping time but they worked right around it. Jennifer always asked me if I needed a drink or anything. This is something that no other DJ service could possibly provide because they work alone. Jennifer and Chris provide a DJ concierge service which is utterly fantastic. The up lighting, monogram and confetti canon made the night. While I had an older crowd of guests the dance floor was always moving. Thank you both for making our wedding day so special!

DJ Chris and his amazing wife Jen made our wedding day absolutely perfect! From our initial meeting we just knew that it was all going to be amazing. DJ Chris was so flexible meeting with us for our appointment prior to the wedding. He stayed in communication at all times even though we are sure he has a very busy schedule! On wedding day we met his wife Jen, who was just a joy to work with! Both Chris and Jen made sure to check on us and keep us on track throughout the entire reception. Not only did they keep us on track with all of the scheduled festivities but they made sure that we were doing ok and staying hydrated, etc throughout the night! The music and atmosphere that they provided for our wedding was nothing short of amazing. So many of our guests came up to us just to tell us how great the music was. My husband's father said he has never been to a wedding where so many people stayed on the dance floor for the entire night! Chris and Jen surprised us with a confetti cannon once the party took off and it really increased the excitement level! DJ Chris kept our guests on the dance floor all night!

Professional and organized - DJ Chris met with us before the wedding to discuss all the details, the order of each event, and any songs we requested. He offered insight that only someone with experience could provide, and his transitions were seamless.

I attended two weddings where Chris was the DJ and both brides highly recommended him. I was confident that he would make our wedding unforgettable - and he more than exceeded our expectations.

DJs can make a huge difference in the energy and ambiance (with up-lighting) of a wedding. DJ Chris brings all of these things - and does it with a huge smile on his face. Not only that, but he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met!

He played all of the songs we requested and mixed them with other songs that people loved. He had very high quality equipment and LED up-lighting. I cannot say enough good things about DJ Chris!

First and foremost, DJ Chris is a consummate professional. Whenever I called, DJ Chris responded in a timely manner and answered my questions to great satisfaction. He arrived nearly three hours before our reception began to adequately prepare, wearing a stately black tie and vest. Most importantly, DJ Chris uses state-of-the art Bose equipment, impressive lighting, and mixes like a bartender with an insatiable urge to please.

Without question, DJ Chris elevated our wedding reception to an entirely different level! He has an incredible knack for knowing when to change the flow based on the audience, and when to let it ride. When people are dancing like no one is watching, DJ Chris turns it to 11 and never looks back. I cannot stress how impressed all of our guests were with DJ Chris's services. You will not find a more seasoned DJ, especially one who is such a genuine and kind human being.

Chris and his lovely wife were the DJs for my wedding on November 8, 2014. They both went above and beyond to make both my ceremony and reception absolutely perfect. I knew I liked Chris when I met him - he is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I didn't want to do a lot of the traditional wedding stuff and Chris found the perfect music for my ceremony and reception. He made the night flow perfectly. Chris played every song I asked for and kept the dance floor going all night! His wife was wonderful and would come find me or my husband to see if we needed anything, asked if we wanted a special song played and even offered to get us a drink! Chris was so professional and greeted me with a hug and a huge smile as I walked in the door of the venue. I was so impressed with him. He even downloaded a Syrian dance song in the middle of the reception for my great aunts to dance to because they requested it. DJ Chris and his breathtakingly beautiful wife were FANTASTIC!! They are so caring, sweet, and attentive. The entire process was as smooth and stress free as I could have imagined (especially in one of the absolute most stressful times in my life) or asked for. Chris met with me prior to the ceremony and made me so comfortable with every decision and even when I called less than a week before the wedding to add something, he just told me, "Absolutely, whatever you want, we will make happen". I went to high school with Chris' brothers and sister's and have know him and his family for a number of years. As a young adult, I enjoyed dancing at local spots where Chris was keeping the party hopping all night long. He was actually the first vendor I contacted when we got engaged. At that point, I didn't know where or even when we would have our wedding, I just knew Chris had to be my DJ. When he explained that he is the House DJ for Youghiogeny Country Club, and then I compared their awesome inclusive packages to other local venues, my choice became very simple.

I had the most perfect wedding a girl could ever dream of! A HUGE part of the reason why was choosing Motions Productions to handle our event. DJ Chris and his sweet, gorgeous wife Jen are an amazing tag team that helped us stay on track with our schedule and provided the perfect tracks. Our family and friends were on the dance floor all night and even our parents made comments about the awesome mix of oldies that Chris skillfully blended in. We had guests ages 2 to 68 at our wedding and EVERYONE enjoyed the music and most danced all night (including us)! It was a sweet surprise when at they end of the night Chris hugged us goodbye and provided us with a CD of all of our "chosen" songs (such as our first dance, cake cutting, etc.). I love listening to it while flipping through our photos; it helps me relive the wonderful memories over and over. I can't say enough good things about Motions Productions, Chris, Jen and their beautiful family. Just trust me and use them!

DJ Chris knows what music to play and when. I did not even provide him with a play/no play list for my wedding and he was amazing throughout the evening! His professionalism and love of music will win out over every other DJ. If you want a memorable event, choose DJ Chris!

Where to start?! DJ Chris and his wife Jen did such a fantastic job, that my family and friends are still raving about how much fun they had! And I can't agree with them more! My husband and I honestly had the best time of our lives thanks to him! He was so accommodating to what my husband and I wanted and did what he could to work with us! (Not like we were difficult! Haha) From the time dinner was over, he had people on the dance floor all night long, in fact, by the time the reception was over, my family paid for another half hour because we didn't want it to be over. Thanks DJ Chris for a night that Mike, myself, family and friends will never forget!

Dj Chris is seriously the best Dj in the area! He had everyone of our wedding guests (including grandparents) up on their feet all night long. Every one we have talked to said how wonderful the Dj was. He was amazing to work with from the beginning all the way till the end and even put up with our guests chanting "one more song" after he was finished. I would recommend him for any wedding if you want a great experienced Dj.

We knew from the day we got engaged, that DJ Chris was going to be our DJ for our wedding and we could not have been happier with him and Jenn. Our ceremony was beautiful and our reception was awesome!! Everything went so smooth. We never had to worry about what was happening next, Jenn made sure of that. Derek and I could not be more pleased with Chris and his wife!! Being that we love in West Virginia and planned a wedding in pittsburgh, we were unsure of how smoothly everything would run. After being able to sit down and meet with Chris, we immediately felt reassured that everything would go as we wanted. Chris worked our ceremony and reception as well as provided uplighting at the venue. Everything went as planned. Any requests made we met. They did a fantastic job keeping us in the loop of what was going to happen next and when! I never had to worry or stress about anything because I knew they had everything under control! Chris did a WONDERFUL job at our wedding reception. He was excellent at announcing our whole wedding party, kept everyone on the dance floor and we especially loved the way he organized our dances. Chris's wife was amazing as well. We were so glad to have her there that night too. She would make sure we had drinks and kept running to the bar for us. She was on top of everything and kept me very well informed of what to expect next. They are friendly and fun! Awesome array of music and definitely knows how to keep the crowd happy. Love their equipment too! We have received many compliments on how great they were. Couldn't be any happier. Thank you SO much!!!!

Chris provided music for both our ceremony and reception and also uplighting for the reception, and for everything he was amazing! Leading up to the wedding he was so easy to work with, he was always super quick to respond to us whether I e-mailed, called or texted him. He was incredibly detailed and thorough and really made sure that he understood our style and our vision for the wedding. I bombarded him with information and details and he never flinched! He collected it all and kept it all and was always so flexible! On the day of he was early arriving and had everything setup with plenty of time to spare. One of the things we loved about him was how classy his setup is. His equipment not only sound great but actually looks great and isn't the eyesore that other DJ setups can be. He kept our dance floor jamming all night and I heard so many compliments from guests about how great the music was! He did a great job coordinating with the other vendors to make sure that our photographers were ready for the big moments and that anyone we needed for the special dances was ready. He kept us in the loop all night long, giving us a heads up before all the different events so that we were always ready to go and never taken by surprise. He did an awesome job sticking to our do not play list and getting all of our requests in. The uplighting was GORGEOUS and he even went above and beyond what we paid for just to make the venue look perfect for us. I could not have asked for anyone better! He is honestly underpriced for how talented and amazing he is!!

When I got engaged I e-mailed DJ Chris that very night to book him as our DJ!! There was no one else we could have picked to be apart of our reception! DJ Chris comes highly recommended and is nothing less than the best! He and Jen are so easy to work with and very professional! Chris always responded to my e-mails right away and our pre-wedding meeting was very smooth. They offer wonderful services with the lighting and monograms! My husband and I got married in September, and selecting DJ Chris and Jen was one of the easiest, no brainer, decisions we made. This husband and wife DJ team exceeded all of our expectations. My husband and I like a very eccletic mix of music and all of our offbeat requests were honored, as well as those of our guests. From the introduction to the last dance our reception was a non-stop party, which was exactly what we wanted. Our dance floor was packed all night, which could have been difficult to do, since they had to contend with an outdoor terrace on a beautiful night. The equipment was streamline, the uplighting was beautiful and tastefully done, but most importantly, Chris and Jen know how to throw a party. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants their own personalities and likes to shine through at their reception, rather than a generic playlist.

I can't say enough about DJ Chris & Motions Productions! Booking with DJ Chris was a blessing to us! He showed his experience and made the planning process with him stress free! We got a true sense of trust and just knew he was gonna be great! My guests started dancing during dinner and then truly danced all night! Chris has an amazing "DJ voice" and did not try and make the night about him and his company! He knew what style of music we loved and what songs we didn't want to hear! It felt like a PARTY! Everything was great from first meeting to the great dance party :) Dj Chris and his wife Jen made everything perfect. The walls at my venue made my yellow uplighting look lime green but they fixed it quickly as soon as my maid of honor noticed and told them. DJ Chris of Motions Productions was amazing! From the initial consultation to the last song of our reception DJ Chris understood what we wanted and paid very close to details! He obviously spends a lot of money in equipment because it sounded terrific all night! DJ Chris played thee best dinner music ive ever heard at a wedding! Songs everyone knew and loved like Sweet Caroline, My Girl, Red Red Wine, Going To The Chapel, Hey Ho & Stand By Me.. just to name a few. But when the party got started DJ Chris's experience really showed! The energy was high and my friends and family PACKED the dance floor! He mixed music from all styles.. Top 40, 80s, 90s & New hits! Chris also provided our pink Uplighting! LOVED it! The price was very affordable. We highly recommend Motions Productions for anyone's wedding or event!

Chris and his wife were great DJ's with lots of experience so they know what songs work and which don't! He met with us beforehand to go over our song selections which really helped. Everyone at our reception danced all night and said it was one of the greatest weddings ever. We even paid extra at the end of the night for them to play longer. A+!

DJ Chris is awesome from the start. He was super flexible with our vision/desired structure of the wedding--he wants the day to be about the couple and doesn't try to impose his ideas/opinions. Our initial meeting with him alleviated us of all concern - he assures you that he will help you every step of the way at the reception, and really gets to know you as a couple as well as your ideas for your day. On the day, we received a ton of compliments on his work -- the dance floor was never empty! Also, his booth/speaker set up is super professional--there are no large speakers which can be an eye sore in your wedding photos. His speakers are slim (we didn't even notice them!) and his DJ booth is super sleek/professional. His equipment is of the highest quality, and it was noticeable. Moreover, his uplights definitely completed our reception decor, and are included in several of his packages (best prices around). The quality you receive from DJ Chris and his lovely wife who helps to coordinate the timing of nearly the entire reception far outweighs the price (which is super reasonable in any case!). I would recommend him to anyone!

My husband Jeff and I had the most amazing wedding better then we could ever dream of and a lot of it was because of how absolutely amazing dj Chris and his wife Jen were! Fantastic DJ

We LOVED having Chris DJ our wedding, both ceremony and reception. He kept the energy and the atmosphere up all night, and we had a blast! He had song selections & clean versions of popular songs so we didn’t have to worry about grandparents or kids hearing anything dirty. He also helped immensely with keeping the flow of our day on track. I’d rehire him in a heartbeat!

DJ Chris is very experienced and definitely a professional. I planned a wedding in my hometown from another state, and he was very willing to work with me despite this. Working with him was easy; he had prepared a thorough document asking about every aspect of the reception, so I felt confident that when the day of our reception came, that he would be completely prepared. He was very open and receptive to our ideas, and executed them flawelssly. At the reception itself, he was awesome. He checked with me several times to make sure everything was going well, and made sure to notify me before an event was about to occur (i.e. cake cutting, first dance, etc) so that I didn't have to worry about a thing... All I had to do was have fun. He knew exactly what to play to get our guests out on the dance floor, and there was barely anyone in their seats once the music started going! I've been to some pretty boring formals and receptions before, but this was definitely not one of them. Everyone I've talked to has said what an awesome time they had dancing and what great song choices were played. I really do think the music makes the party, and we definitely had a great party that night. I also really appreciated that the morning after the wedding DJ Chris sent us a few pictures of the night and checked to make sure we had a good time. I can't thank you guys enough for helping to make our special day into such a great night!
