Vinny was very professional and an excellent DJ - he was friendly with all of our guests, interactive, and made the wedding dinner/night run smoothly without a hitch. He is great at reading the room and adjusting the music to the mood/vibe of the guests. Would highly recommend to any wedding couple. -

We knew Vinny was going to be our DJ after our first conversation. Easy to talk to, down to earth, and he had a great energy to him. He was easily accessible to ask questions throughout the planning process and gave us the freedom to create our playlists. Our wedding was an absolute blast, and he matched our vibe with his work behind the music. Great personality, amazing hype man, and an overall great human. Could not recommend him and Motion DJs enough. -

We worked with Motion DJs and DJ Alex James for our wedding. He was absolutely incredible to work with and had our dance floor going all night long at our wedding. Alex answered all of my questions during multiple planning calls. We had a wedding of about 180 people that ranged from young kids to seniors (he got everyone dancing)! We had a great experience and would recommend him and this company to everyone! -

The Best Night of Our Lives!
Having a packed dance floor was at the very top of my priority list for our wedding and boy did Alex absolutely DELIVER. From day one, the Motion DJs experience was top notch, easy, and streamlined. The planning guide was such a helpful tool to be able to curate lists of songs we did or didn’t want played. I was able to have a couple of meetings with Alex where we discussed every detail from ceremony, to speeches, to opening the dance floor, to coordinating my second grand entrance. I had so much confidence in Alex after talking with him that he would make sure everyone was on the dance floor. He was also available via text to answer any questions at any time. My guests also raved about our reception and are already asking when we’re renewing our vows so we can party again! 10/10 recommend, hands down. Thank you, Alex, for making that the most fun night of our lives! -

The best crew!
We had the best experience with Mike! He made our wedding day perfect! Everything went so smoothly. Mike’s energy is contagious. He got everyone one the dance floor. The music was amazing. He knew how to get the people to get up and dance! We are trying to figure out what event we can have next just to have Mike back! The price was reasonable for everything they offer. The DJ stand with a TV in it was a huge hit with my guests. Mike’s assistant was also awesome! If you’re having an event and want to have a good time Mike is your guy! -

Vinny is the absolute BEST!!!! My sister used Motion DJ's for her wedding back in 2019 and I knew right away that I would be using them for my wedding one day! Extremely professional and communicative throughout the entire process! He was full of energy and brought so much fun to our wedding! I had so much fun working with Vinny throughout the planning process. I was actually so sad once the wedding was over with knowing we wouldn’t be chatting as much anymore. DJ Vinny at Motion DJ's is awesome! We had Vinny DJ our July 2025 wedding and he was exceptional. Not only did he bring great energy to the dance floor, but he was also a great resource throughout the planning process. The music really brought our event to life. The sound for our ceremony was also fantastic and our guests could hear the ceremony clearly despite it being fully outside. The planning portal also made imagining the flow of the event much easier. DJ vinny helped with song recommendations and greatly improved our reception flow and timeline. He came fully equipped, arrived early, and helped us throw an amazing party. Would highly recommend to anyone- working with Vinny was worth every penny!! -

DJ Alex was phenomenal! He was incredibly communicative leading up to the event, was timely, and prepared. Not only did he check in multiple times in the weeks leading up, but he also checked in throughout the night to ensure we were happy. He made great music selections, mixed songs we chose in, and transitioned everything absolutely seamlessly. All of our guests raved about how great the music was for dancing and keeping the energy up all night. Pricing was incredibly reasonable, and the experience more than exceeded any expectations. It is clear as day that he truly cares and wants you and your guests to have a great time. He kept the dance floor crowded, and made the night a genuine party! We look forward to using, and recommending, him in the future. -

Best DJ with tons of experience!
Where to even start about how amazing Vinny was! He has a form online that plans out your whole wedding timeline. He’s always a text away and fast to answer back. When I was stressed and overwhelmed, Vinny would call me with a chill vibe and remind me that he’s there to make my life easier and he did! I didn’t make a song playlist for cocktail hour or reception and he crushed it! All of our guest made it on the dance floor and my husband and I never left unless it was for water or the bar. When I last minute wanted to add in something, you would have thought it was planned from the beginning. Vinny brings such an upbeat vibe and you can even feel it texting him. His experience shows through his amazing work! You will not regret booking Motion DJ for your next wedding or event! -

Let me just start by saying: I was the bride and I never—literally never—left the dance floor. That’s how insanely good Vinny from Motion DJ was.
From the very first song to the final encore, Vinny brought the absolute perfect energy. He read the room like a pro, kept the vibes high all night, and somehow managed to play hit after hit that had everyone—yes, even the “we don’t dance” people—out there moving.
We gave him a few favorite songs and some general direction, and he completely understood the assignment (and then some). Every transition was seamless, every moment felt intentional, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. He created the kind of party you hope your wedding will be.
On top of all that, Vinny was so easy to work with, super professional, and just an all-around awesome person. It honestly felt like having a really talented friend behind the booth who just gets it.

Where do we even begin!! From the initial call to wedding day, Vinny was everything PRO. His website made the daunting task of organizing our wedding music a breeze, it was so easy to use and SO helpful!! Vinny makes sure to gather all the hopes and dreams of the couple, all while offering the advice of an expert. He is a blast to work with, and made us feel so at ease and excited for the music on our big day. There’s so many intricacies he helps highlight that go into the wedding day. Vinny truly helped us created an unforgettable day with every detail, beyond just the music. He even found us all the way across the grass of our barn venue while we were in the thick of post-ceremony photos, just to make sure we could hear and enjoy our favorite music playing during cocktail hour!
