We couldn't have asked for better photographers. Heather and Josh made the entire process fun and easy. They were responsive and effortlessly guided us through engagement photos and the day of the wedding. Their work is astounding and we were beyond satisfied with the photo quality. -

Heather and Josh are just the best! Thanks to Covid we got to work with them twice - on our first micro-wedding, and our anniversary celebration one year later. They were wonderful to work with, and made moving dates, and getting married twice, during a pandemic a breeze.
As soon as we found our venue I started the search for the perfect photographers, and once I came across Moth + Moonlite I knew they were perfect! They have a darker/moody style that still feels light and clean and it was absolutely perfect for the vibe we wanted at our wedding.
My husband and I are notoriously awkward, what do I do with my hands type of people – but they both were so wonderful at making sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. They get the perfect balance of posed photos while also capturing all the little candid moments in between.
Heather also completely saved my life – during all the family and formal photos I started getting really hot and my dress wasn’t the easiest for breathing normally either. Heather noticed I was getting hot, had my bridesmaids get me a cup of water, and whipped out a mini fan from her bag that I could pop out between shots, she thought of *everything*!
We have been obsessed with every picture they’ve sent so far, from our engagement session the week the world shut down, to our micro-wedding and reception in our backyard, to the sneak peeks we’ve seen so far of the big celebration. We already have them hanging all over our house and can’t wait to order more once the rest come in!
Heather + Josh – we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect photography team, and have loved working with you over the last 2 years, thank you SO much for everything! -

Heather and Josh were amazing from the beginning! If you are looking for the best, look no further! We could not be more happy with the pics we’ve seen so far from our wedding! They are both so personable and make you feel so comfortable! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding!! -

Heather, and Josh are rockstars!! Choosing a photographer was the hardest vendor for me to choose, and I could not be more happy I went with them! We had some personal family experiences coupled with covid during our wedding, not to mention rain, and they were beyond professional, helpful, and just kind through all of it!! We loved our engagement session with them, and only have our sneak peek at the moment, but we are thrilled with how they came out!! I hate taking photos, and I have never felt more comfortable with photographers!! If you are looking for amazing photos, and photographers that make the process as stress free as possible... look no further!! They are the best! :) -

Heather and Josh our genuine and amazing people! Since our initial meeting I knew they were going to be our photographers/videographers. Our engagement shoot was everything I could have imagined and more. My fiance and I are not familiar with being in front of the camera and Heather made it not awkward and fun for us! We are excited for Heather and Josh to be apart of our special day with us! -

When I started planning our wedding almost a year ago, the main thing that I knew had to be perfect was our photographer. I stumbled upon Moth + Moonlite on Instagram and instantly fell in love with this dreamy husband/wife duo. I actually booked them before anything else because both Blake and I were so attached to these guys. Needless to say, Heather and Josh went above and beyond our expectations. Not only are they incredibly talented in their craft, but they are undoubtedly some of the sweetest, most laid back people to work alongside you the entire day of the wedding. My husband and I are so awkward when we have to pose for photos, yet Heather made us feel like we were KILLING it (even though I’m sure there were still some “what was that face?!” photos). If you want a photographer who is going to take forced stock photos that belong in a dollar store frame, don’t book them. BUT...if you want a photographer who is going to capture every. single. emotion. that you experience on the best day of your life, then BOOK THEM ASAP. We will cherish our photos for the rest of our lives thanks to these two dreamboats. I cannot say enough nice things about Heather and Josh. -

Best Photographers Ever
Heather and Josh are the best photographers we could have ever asked for. All of our pictures are breathtaking and the entire process was fun and non-stressful. My husband and I definitely feel awkward during pictures - it's not really our thing. When we did our engagement photos, we felt super awkward and were laughing the whole time. None of this came through in the photos. Heather and Josh perfectly captures our relationship and put us at ease during the photo session. They captured beautiful moments that made us look like posing naturals. The wedding was more of the same. They put us and our guests at ease. So many of our guests came up to us throughout the night to tell us how much they loved both Heather and Josh. They managed to stay out of the way throughout the event, but still captured all of the important moments. To top it off, we received THIRTY sneak peek photos 3 days after the wedding!! I didn't even think that was possible - I expected to see like 5. We were so blown away. We cannot possibly thank Heather and Josh enough for all of their hard work. I would recommend Moth + Moonlite to anyone who is planning a wedding in DFW or elsewhere -

Jeni Sent on 03/06/2018I can't think of a single reason why you shouldn't book with Heather! She is so incredibly talented, along with her husband Josh, who did our videography! They are wonderful and fun people as well. The pictures speak for themselves, I wouldn't trust another photographer the way I trust Heather and Josh!
