  Leigh Anna from Moss & Isaac is a gem. The shots from our engagement shoot and the sneak peek from our wedding are out of this world. Our friends and family have been blown away by Leigh Anna's talent. We have already received countless compliments on the photos. She is particularly talented at manipulating lighting in order to get soft, romantic shots. In addition to delivering out-of-this-world photos, Leigh Anna is also wonderful to work with. She is the perfect balance of friendly and professional.

  I highly recommend Moss + Issac. I met with Leigh Anna and she was very flexible and understanding of my budget. She suggested that I work with two of her associates, Amy Sims & Daniel Orren and they were amazing. They were very flexible & professional and showed up early to the engagement and wedding shoots. They were fun to be around and were understanding of the stress of wedding day. The photographs they took were amazing as well, they captured every moment perfectly and I'm extremely pleased with all my photographs. I wish I had more excuses to get photographs taken so I could work with them again!

  I worked with Moss + Isaac for my wedding recently and cannot say enough about how wonderful Leigh Anna and Amy are. Amy was the photographer on-site to shoot our wedding and was an absolute dream! She showed up early and managed to maintain the perfect balance of being by my side or in ear shot, while also being complete autonomous and taking moments to shoot the details of the day. She was very professional, but so personable. Amy helped me stick to our agreed upon shot list and schedule, while being completely flexible so that I wouldn't miss any moments with my guests. She consulted on the lighting to ensure that we got the best shots at the best times and was friendly and upbeat with our guests. You hire photographers to capture the day, but I can honestly say Amy added to the overall experience. She and Leigh Anna kept the entire process smooth and organized and the day-of was no exception. I would absolutely recommend either or both or them to shoot any event you may have coming up!

  Leigh Anna Thompson, principal photographer and owner of Moss & Isaac came highly recommended from a friend. My husband and I fell in love with her beautiful images. They were exactly what we wanted: shot in a photo-journalistic style with an artistic flair. We immediately set up a meeting with Leigh Anna.
  As soon as I met with Leigh Anna, I was put at ease. She was professional and genuine, as well as incredibly kind and funny. We hit it off right away, and I spent a few hours in her gorgeous studio looking over books and books of beautiful weddings she shot over the years.
  In the fall of '13, Leigh Anna spent 2 hours with us shooting our engagement photos. She put us at ease immediately, and it was more like a friend casually taking pictures of us, than a posed photo shoot. We fell in love with the images she shot, especially some adorable ones of our dog/ring bearer, Charlie. They are some of our favorites photos of the 2 of us.
  When we met a month before our wedding, I wasn't even nervous or stressed, we trusted Leigh Anna completely. She was incredibly thorough and asked for a list of must-take shots, and details.
  On the day of our wedding, Leigh Anna and her second shooter, Amy arrived early to scope out our venue and plan perfect places to take photos. When they arrived at my bridal suite, I trusted Leigh Anna completely to do exactly what we'd talked about and more. The entire wedding day was lovely, in large part to Leigh Anna and Amy. They got all the posed shots done calmly and efficiently, and spent the rest of the night snapping away unobtrusively. Both Leigh Anna and Amy were so calm and sweet the entire night. They helped hold my shoes, veil and etc. Leigh Anna pulled us away at night to take beautiful, romantic shots in the moonlight. She was so sweet to even show us some of the images on her camera. We cannot wait to see the images of our wedding. Leigh Anna and her team are not only amazing photographers, but wonderful people as well!

  Lovely Leigh Anna and her assistant photographed my June 2014 wedding in NYC. From the time of our first email, I knew she would be the perfect photographer for us. We first met in her lovely studio, and I was immediately drawn to her warm, bubbly, fun personality. I could tell right away that she would be professional, organized, and most importantly, perfectly capture our wedding memories. She was very easy to communicate with throughout the planning process, which was especially important to us given that we were planning our wedding from abroad. Leigh Anna is REALLY prepared--she provided us with a questionnaire beforehand in order to get to know us and our story better, as well as family dynamics, in addition to our desired photo list. On our wedding day she arrived early with her assistant, and was instantly calming in the middle of a chaotic "getting ready" scene. She orchestrated the most beautiful and memorable first look, which is one of my favorite moments from the day, and captured the emotion and joy we felt perfectly. We had so much fun with Leigh Anna as we walked around the West Village for our couples portraits, as well as a wonderful time during our group photos. Our entire family absolutely loved her, and still talk about her. The final product is beyond gorgeous--they are dreamy, unique, and utter perfection. We could not be happier! Leigh Anna was such a special part of our wedding, and I know we'll be calling her for many more events in the future.

Beyond the unbelievably gorgeous, creative, unique shots we have from our wedding, the professionalism, talent and kindness that Leigh Anna and her team exhibit is truly extraordinary. My husband and I knew that photography was our #1 priority for our wedding day, we spent hours and hours researching the unlimited pool of NYC Wedding photographers and the minute we met Leigh Anna and viewed her portfolio in person, we were hooked. We also booked an engagement session with her which was the perfect way to get comfortable in front of the camera and ready for our wedding day. I can't tell you how many compliments we receive on her work - I have had countless people ask me for her information and I constantly hear from family and friends "these are the best wedding shots I have ever seen" "Your photographer is so talented how will you ever choose which shots to frame?" I could go on and on about how happy we were to book her but the bottom line is you should too.
  
  Oh and side note - when we received our sneak peek, along with it we were given us a custom app to download photos to our smart phones - Moss & Isaac is truly one of a kind.

  HANDS DOWN the best vendor choice we made for our entire wedding. Working with Leigh Anna was an absolute pleasure. We immediately liked her from when we interviewed her. Her work already spoke for itself, so beautiful and professional, but we knew she would be easy to work with.
  
  She did both our engagement shoot in NYC and our wedding day and the pictures she captured and amazing. Her demeanor made us so comfortable so she was able to really capture who we are as a couple. Her price tag is typical for NYC but for what you get, she's amazing.
  
  We had such a great experience working with her.

  I feel so lucky to have found Leigh Anna and Moss+Isaac. One of my most favorite things (besides the A-mazing photography) is that she made us feel so comfortable, it was as if we just had one of our best friends with us taking photos! We did an engagement session too--which I HIGHLY recommend. It provided several hours of her getting to see how we interact and how to get the best photos of us. People who saw our engagement pics were so amazed on how they turned out and frankly jealous that they didn't do that with their photographers. The day of our wedding was so perfect, and our photos are even more perfect. I have no idea how we are going to choose what to frame because we love them all! I cannot recommend Moss+Isaac highly enough!

  My husband and I spent days/weeks/months researching photographers...in and out of NY...because we knew that at the end of the fastest day of our lives, the photos would be the only part that we would keep forever. To be honest, 5 stars doesn't even do M&I justice, it really should be one hundred stars. They generously worked out a package deal for us including our engagement photos, engagement party, Korean bowing ceremony, wedding and reception - insane! All of our photos came out so beautiful, so warm, so bright, so lively and so full of emotion!! At least 100 photos PER EVENT we didn't even know were taken while they were getting insane angles from behind trees and lying on the ground...they were up for anything to get beautiful photos. And the best thing of all - they are literally the sweetest, kindest and most flexible team ever. Our parents and friends talked about how sweet our photographers were -- when does that happen?? Choosing M&I was the best decision we made and we will treasure our whole wedding weekend for the rest of our lives thanks to them =)

  My husband and I hired Leigh Anna and her assistant for our wedding and engagement shoot, and we could not be more thrilled with how it worked out. Leigh Anna is a delight to work with – professional, warm and courteous. She was one of the only photographers we interviewed who came to my office at a time that worked for me with her samples for a meeting because it was more convenient for me rather than asking me to trek to her office during her specified office hours. During such a busy time (between planning the wedding and getting crushed at work), I really appreciated the flexibility and her general willingness to take the extra step to make the decision easier for us. Leigh Anna was very willing to work with us to design a custom package that worked for us. The pictures – absolutely stunning! Leigh Anna captured so many beautiful individual moments as well as the overall feeling and aesthetic of the day and I know we’ll treasure looking back at the pictures and remembering the day in the years to come. We got wonderful traditional pictures, as well as amazing “candids”, including of every member of our bridal party and our families and some amazing outdoor night in NYC shots of the two of us – Leigh Anna is extremely talented at both the traditional and photojournalist/editorial style. It’s going to be hard to narrow down my choices for the album because I love every single one of the hundreds of pictures! Leigh Anna also gave us “sneak peek” digital slideshows after the engagement shoot and the wedding – they were wonderful previews of the pictures generally, and the perfect format to share the highlights with friends and family.   I recently helped my daughter to plan her wedding, and she chose Moss + Isaac as her photographers. They were very easy to work with and produced the most beautiful and magical photos I have ever seen of a wedding couple. Their range goes from whimsical to traditional; they worked skillfully on a day that featured clouds, rain, and an impending tornado.   I am so extremely happy I went with Moss + Isaac for our wedding photos. I met Leigh Anna & CJ at a friends wedding last year after seeing how beautiful my friends engagement photos came out I had to meet them. They were so sweet & my husband and I felt very comfortable with them so we felt very confident choosing them to capture our day. Working with Leigh Anna this past year (through engagement, boudoir & wedding photos), she was extremely responsive, flexible & reliable. And the photos - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Starting with our engagement photos, Leigh Anna made us feel so comfortable since we spent 2 hours starting into each other's eyes and kissing and you feel silly but she really helped us relax. The pictures came out absolutely stunning. She is so talented, the way she works with light and the scenery, they just look so beautiful and professional. Taking photos in LIC, she somehow managed to take a photo in this park of birch trees among office buildings look like we are alone in a forest! Amazing :-) I also decided to take boudoir photos as a gift to my husband and Leigh Anna again made me feel so comfortable and the photos again were amazing- sexy & classy! The wedding photos - having gotten to know Leigh Anna over this past year, by the time the wedding came, my husband and I felt like we were working with a friend on our wedding day and her and CJ did a great job getting through all the planned photos (which can be somewhat stressful) but they were organized and prepared and got through it as quickly as possible. So far we have gotten a sneak peek of about 150 photos and I am so blown away they are just so beautiful! I can imagine there are many more like that I can't wait to see them all! Through the process Leigh Anna really became a friend and I am so happy to have worked with her for our special day and given the response to my photos from friends and family - I fully expect to see her at more weddings in the future!

  CJ Isaac with Moss + Isaac photography was the best thing that could have happened to my wedding. We used her for our engagement photos almost a year before the big day and fell in love with her complpetely flexible and relaxed attitude...she made everything flow smoothly and easily and we were so comfortable with her, we had to use her for our wedding as well. She was present throughout the entire year-long planning process, not only checking in constantly around our evolving plans, but being one of my best sources for wedding information, inspiration and ideas. She truly became a friend and support system throughout the planning process and provided a sense of calm in the storm. While other elements of the wedding seemed to be in flux or various stages of confirmation, I knew my photography was completely covered. We flew CJ down to the Dominican Republic for us for our destination wedding in April of 2012. She arrived a few days early to scout various areas and declined partaking in some of our fun wedding events as a guest so that she could adequately explore the resort and our venue. This proved to be incredibly helpful as she found us some amazing locations for our posed and family photos. The day before and day of the wedding CJ was my rock; when everything was swirling around me and people were getting crazy, she was as solid as ever and provided a sense of calm and stability, something that was invaluable to a stressed and nervous bride. At our wedding she was a fly on the wall, she is a real pro at blending in and capturing moments without guests even realiizing she was there. We had discussed particular shots I wanted to be sure she captured and I was thrilled to see that not only did she catch everything I had hoped for (in a far more unique and interesting way than I even imagine!) but she went so far above and beyond my wildest dreams. Her photos perfectly capture the vibe and mood of the night and I honestly look through them almost every single day because they make me so happy! I would reccomend her to any friend (and I have reccomended her to many already!) for not only her true talent, but for what she brings to a wedding and bride in terms of being a bridal resource, a confident professional, and a friend. My sister will be using CJ when she gets married in a few years, I know many friends of mine will be calling her when their time comes, and my husband and I plan on using her for baby and children pictures when we have kids later down the road. CJ Isaac did not just beautifully photograph my wedding, she became a friend.

  5 Stars in all categories? I know it seems extreme, but that is truly how I feel about working with Moss&Isaac. Their professionalism was beyond impeccable. Willing to fly by the seat of their pants and willing to be flexible to suit our every need, wish, desire... it was like having two more friends with us all day who left us with the most cherished memories of all!

  Moss and Isaac are simply fabulous! They photographed my engagement pictures, bridal session, and wedding portraits, and I could not have been happier. Their photos are some of the best I have ever seen. Leigh Anna and CJ are so easy to work with and are truly the sweetest girls I know!!
