Best DJ in North Carolina!

Marcus was the best DJ we could have ever asked for! We had our original DJ back out 2 weeks before our wedding and Marcus came to the rescue! He was great in communicating and met with us right away. The day of he was on point with the timing and the music. He did a great job reading the crowd while sticking to our music requests. All of our guests couldn't stop raving about how awesome he was. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to be apart of our day. I would 100% recommend. Thank you so much Marcus!!!

Kept the party going

My fiancé & I attended an event where Cameron was the dj . We could barely stay in our seats. We are surely ready to hire them for our wedding. It was a good mix of music!

One of the Best Parts of our Wedding!

We are so happy that we decided to go with Morse Entertainment for our wedding reception music. Marcus was our DJ and he was absolutely outstanding. He arranged the music in such a way that everyone, including some of our older relatives, were up on the dance floor. Everyone is still raving about how much they loved the music and how it was such an amazing party from beginning to end. Choosing Morse Entertainment was one of the best decisions we made!!

Very happy!

Marcus was the DJ at our wedding, and we are so glad that we hired him! He did the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and we were very happy with our experience. Dressed professionally and really knows what he's doing!

We had such a great experience with Marcus! He was attentive to our style and went above and beyond to make sure our dance floor was the place to be. My sisters had a little performance planned and he was very easy for them to work with as well.

Morse Entertainment uses an online tool that makes setting up your timeline and song selections super easy. Overall, I was very impressed with Marcus and would chose Morse Entertainment over again!

Carrie was very good about communicating quickly and thoroughly. We met with Blake Burney once before hiring him, then again to set up our specific requests for the wedding, and communicated via email numerous times prior to the date. Blake was the DJ for our ceremony as well, and we do not feel we missed anything by not having live music. At our reception, we were happy to hear several songs we loved despite not requesting them, which proved he understood our taste. Blake had a great sense of what should be played when, he was very easy to work with, and we got a lot of positive reviews from our guests - we'd hire him again if we had to do it over!

Marcus was absolutely amazing! He played for my sister's wedding and many of the guests commented on how good he was. I knew immediately I wanted to hire him for my wedding too. He is a friendly, professional, classy guy. He's organized. He paid attention to the requests I made. And most importantly, he made sure our dance floor was packed from start to finish. I got so many texts the next morning about how awesome our DJ was. We had the best time and I'd recommend Marcus without any reservation!

We cannot say enough positive things about Morse Entertainment! Marcus was our DJ and he exceeded all of our expectations! First off, we were planning our wedding from out of town, which seemed overwhelming and challenging - but after speaking with Carrie and Marcus - they made us feel very comfortable and excited to work with them! The music was probably the most important aspect of our wedding - we have been to a ton of weddings where hardly anyone was dancing, or the music was the run of the mill wedding music playlist... which we obviously wanted to avoid. Marcus was able to execute exactly what we were going for during each part of our wedding - from before the ceremony started to the very last song played at the reception. We received a ton of compliments from all of our guests about the music and everyone was dancing from the beginning to the end. We are so happy we were able to work with Marcus, and if we ever need a DJ in the future - we will definitely be working with him again! THANK YOU!

We hired DJ Sami for our reception. As big music fans, my husband and I spent a good deal of time deciding on a DJ and we are super happy we went with Sami. He completely understood our taste, and worked with it to craft a great soundtrack to an amazing night. Morse Entertainment has a fantastic web portal that makes planning a breeze. Soooo many guests were shaking it on the dance floor. Sami is super knowledgable about music and, perhaps more importantly, knows how to pace a DJ set that the people respond to.

Everyone kept telling me what a great DJ we had. Cameron was easy to work with, and really listened to what we wanted in terms of music. I would recommend Cameron from Morse Entertainment in heart beat!

Marcus did a fantastic job! Absolutely no complaints. He was a great MC and kept the crowd dancing all night long! He was always professional during our meetings. The website they use to get your music preferences and wedding info was easy to use and allowed us to choose must play, maybe play, and don't play songs. We would highly recommend Marcus (and his gold turn tables)!

I would definitely recommend this company for anyone getting married in the Raleigh area. The team makes sure to get back in touch with you for any questions you may have and are willing to see your vision. Marcus was my DJ and we had a very good experience. Being overwhelmed with wedding plans, you want to chose the best there is so you can know that detail is taken care of. Marcus knew exactly what to do and everything ran smooth from the ceremony to cocktail hour then to the reception. Very impressed with our service!

Mike Biddle did a wonderful job for our wedding reception and played every song that we requested at just the right time! He was also very helpful in the planning of the event as my husband and I have never planned anything like that, but Mike was on-point and new exactly what to do and gave great suggestions for anything else that needed to be planned! We will definitely use him the next time we need a DJ and will recommend him to anyone that we that may need one!

Early in the wedding planning process, I was assigned the role of selecting the DJ for our special day. Since this was literally my only responsibility besides showing up, there was a lot of pressure to select the right person for the job. Luckily, I was referred to Morse Entertainment by a friend.

I cannot say enough about how great DJ Marcus of Morse Entertainment was to work with. He kept the dance floor packed the entire wedding reception, was flexible, and just a genuinely nice person. 10/10 would recommend Morse Entertainment to anyone looking to have a fun celebration! - Neil Rowley

My husband and I booked Marcus Ward from Morse Entertainment for our wedding and we are so glad we did! Marcus met with us twice during the planning process to fully understand what we wanted and make sure that we felt comfortable with how the night would go. The night of the wedding proved that Marcus knows how to get a party started and keep it going! Even now, weeks after our wedding, we still have guests talking about how awesome the DJ was! Our guests had a wonderful time and the dance floor was full from the time it was opened until the very last song (and even then people wanted to keep dancing!). I cannot say enough about how wonderful it is to work with vendors that take the time to understand what you want and then create it for you! Marcus did just that. I highly recommend Morse Entertainment and Marcus Ward!

There was never a question about who was going to DJ our wedding. Marc did such an exceptional job for us and we would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ for any kind of event. His vast library of music allowed everyone to enjoy and dance to any song they wanted. He got the crowd involved and just about everyone was out on the dance floor having a blast. He is definitely a chip off the old block and you could see his father's influence in him while he was doing his thing. I can't tell you how many complements that we received after the reception about how good of a job Marc did while he was DJing our wedding. I am telling you, if you want someone who knows what they are doing, is great with a crowd, and who is patient with the people who request song after song, you will get no better than Marc Ward of Morse Entertainment.

One of the helpful tips we received when planning our wedding was to pick a DJ with care, as that person would play a crucial part in the day. We had Marcus Ward from Morse Entertainment DJ our ceremony and reception, and we couldn't have picked a better person.

From start to finish, Marcus was great to work with. We personally met with him at his office on multiple occasions to discuss a general feel for the day and nail down specific requests. He was more than accommodating and strived to make our day as special as possible. We gave him a few specific song requests for certain parts of the evening, and he built playlists to perfectly capture the desired mood during the dinner and reception. It was exactly what we were looking for. On the day of the wedding, he was extremely professional to work with, and he helped us navigate the evening with ease -- the ceremony sounded great, and afterward, he kept the party going and never let it lull.

We would not hesitate to recommend Marcus and Morse Entertainment for your event!

DJ Marcus (aka Mista Illz) was INCREDIBLE! My guests STILL rave about the entertainment he provided. From the ceremony music, to the bridal party entrances, to the very end of the reception, Marc provided a FUN and FLAWLESS night! Thank you, thank you, thank you Marc for the BEST wedding reception entertainment ever!!
Before finding Marc, I searched and searched for the perfect DJ to add to my perfect wedding. After attending a wedding that DJ Marc was working and having the time of my life, I knew I had to have Marc DJ my wedding! Even though Marc was located 10 hours away, I wouldn't settle for any other DJ at my wedding. Needless to say, after my parents watched my friend's wedding video, they were ready to sign with DJ Marc. I could say thank you a million times to DJ Marc for working so hard to make sure that every part of the entertainment for my wedding was nothing less than perfect. For all brides who want a GREAT and down right good time and fabulous memories, request DJ Marc! You will not regret it!!

Finding the right DJ company is hard enough when planning for a wedding, let alone the right DJ. Fortunately for us, we were able to get lined up with Marcus Ward from Mike Morris Entertainment in Raleigh, NC for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. Marcus is a very talented DJ, and proved he has an extensive and impressive knowledge of not just music, but how to both work with and maintain the energy of our crowd. One note to mention: we made Marcus aware that our bridal party was very much a dancing bunch – not professionally, but just love to – which could have made it easy in some respects. However, Marcus flexed his music mixing skills for hours on end and kept a very balanced flow of songs throughout the night. Our guests loved it!

Marcus was extremely easy to work with and was very flexible as we made multiple request changes nearing the wedding day. One thing that was especially great was that our wish-list was relatively small in comparison to even his suggestion list, yet Marcus had the skill to run with what we requested and put together an inspired and exciting set list. Whether it was current pop hits, swing, country, or the tear-jerking slow songs, he had a great feel for how the overall energy of the crowd was going and truly had something for everyone. We cannot recommend Marcus, and Mike Morris Entertainment, highly enough, and will certainly be using them for any of our future parties – big or small.

Best DJ in the Triangle hands down!! They were so easy to work with and professional and had everyone on the dance floor all night for our wedding! Absolutely perfect in every way. You can select songs that you want to play or your must have song list but honestly the DJ's know exactly what to do and you should trust them to play what they know will get people dancing all night. DJ Rang and Mike Morse are the best!

Marcus Ward made our wedding reception lively and one that guests were talking about for weeks after! Marcus incorporated a variety of music types into our reception (as requested) and did so seamlessly. Many guests came up to us during and after the wedding to ask who our DJ was and to compliment him. He definitely knows how to get the party started, keep it going, and how to wind things down. Could not have asked for a better experience!

We had the pleasure of having Mike Biddle as our DJ for both ceremony and reception. Mike was extremely flexible, professional, and so easy going. During the entire reception, Mike had guests of all ages out on the dance floor and did a great job mixing up the music selection. Johnny was a great DJ for our wedding. He was very responsive during the planning process and met with me twice to discuss specific details of the event. Where do I even start in putting in to words how amazing Mike was for our wedding?! Our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had. From the unique pre-wedding music to the party music during the reception - there was never a dull moment the entire event. Mike came to the table with such great ideas that really captured the spirit of my husband and I - we couldn't be happier with the level of service we received and the fun that ensued at our wedding!

If you want a DJ that will keep your dance floor busy all night long.. Sami is your guy! We could not have asked for better. From the beginning, he was very professional and always made sure it was about what we wanted. Although we chose him because we trusted his experience, we were still able to have input into how our wedding was going to be. We danced from the time the music started playing and Sami literally had to kick people off the dance floor to watch my husband and I exit the reception. We are so pleased and would highly recommend him to ANYONE to meet your event needs. Hands down the best DJ in town!

Mike was absolutely amazing! He was recommended by my mother-in-law who is an event planner and it was the best decision we made! We told him what type of music we like and what type of reception we wanted to have and he took it from there! From the bridal party introductions to the last call - everyone had so much fun!!! Music was very important to us because we wanted everyone to dance and have a great time...and they certainly did! I would definitely recommend Mike to a friend!

Our DJ was Mike Morse, he played music for our ceremony and reception. During the planning process he was very attentive and was able to provide great suggestions when asked. He has a great variety of music and is able to custom create songs to fit the timing for different parts of the ceremony such as the sand ceremony and bridal entrance.
During the reception our dance floor stayed packed, our guest raved about how awesome the music was. Mike played the songs we wanted as well as guests requests. You will not go wrong if you choose Mike Morse as your DJ, he is awesome!!

Kevin was our wedding DJ. He was incredible! Kevin made sure our guests danced the night away and kept the energy going all night!! He was flexible when we had some last minute changes and truly listened to what we needed. We appreciated his attitude and fun nature! Thank you, Kevin, for an amazing, unforgettable night!!

DJ Mike Morse did an amazing job at our wedding! He was great to work with in advance, and made planning fun and easy! He definitely loves what he does and that comes across in his work. We had so many compliments on what a fun party the reception was, and I thank Mike for that! I even had a friend tell me that she never managed to make it to the bar because every time she tried to leave the dance floor for a drink, she had to go back because it was another song too good to miss! I would absolutely recommend Mike Morse!

Mike was awesome! So many of our guests came up to us during and after the wedding and asked who is that DJ. He definitely got our guests on the dance floor. Mike we would have you DJ for us a million times over.

DJ Mike Morse was awesome during our cocktail hour and reception! Very responsive and professional throughout the planning process. We provided him with a list of songs, then asked him to read the crowd as to what songs to play. He did this extremely well! Despite the HOT weather, he had our guests up and dancing for the entire reception! I would recommend him to any bride looking for a great DJ!

Having Mike Morse DJ my daughter's wedding was one of the best decisions I have ever made. From my very first contact with Morse Entertainment I received the absolute best customer service you can ask for. Every one of my questions was answered promptly and I was never treated like I was just another customer. They have a wonderful planning tool online for their clients that made it easy for my daughter and her fiancee to choose which dances they wanted and which songs they wanted to have played. We were supposed to have a face to face meeting with Mike before the wedding but he was great about changing it to a phone meeting due to our schedules. He was very thorough about how the day of the wedding would flow. On the wedding day I was just blown away by the amazing job that Mike did. It was very hot and we were outdoors but Mike had everyone on the dance floor all day long. We gave him a few song suggestions but other than that he was able to read the crowd and know just what song to play at just the right time. Our guests are still talking about our awesome DJ. He played the perfect music for cocktail hour and dinner as well. I tuly feel that the music can make or break a wedding and Mike definitely made Laura and Andrew's day. I would never hire any Dj other than Mike now!!

Mike Morse was simply amazing! He worked with Caitlyn and Daniel prior to the wedding so that everything was perfect! The ceremony and the reception was wonderful! Mike kept the party going all night! He has the absolute best personality of anyone you would ever want to work with! He was a great success and our guest loved having DJ Mike Morse in the house!! I'm trying to come up with another event just so he can DJ.... Totally awesome night and everyone is still talking about MM! Don't give it another thought you need Mike Morse to DJ your wedding! 10+ stars all the way!!

Bottom line up front: Look no farther than Mike Morse and Morse Entertainment as your DJ! Wow! Mike Morse was the DJ for our only daughter's wedding and he was the perfect choice. Mike is a celebrity in Raleigh on a morning radio show. He was professional from the start and I was totally impressed. We had a meeting with Mike and he walked us through the entire evening. He made sure that he knew how to correctly pronounce everyone's name and the type of music Jackie and Stephen wanted. I have seen DJs make it all about them, no so with Mike. He kept the reception running and remembered everything. Later Jackie commented that she had forgotten some of the special songs they had requested, but Mike remembered. He was totally professional and his sound system was exceptional. If you are looking for a high quality DJ, Mike Morse is your guy!

Wow, can't say enough good stuff about Mike Morse. The music can make or break a party and he definitely made it happen. Melissa was great to work with, very responsive and accommodating in making the arrangements. Mike met with the bride and groom to go over everything - which was a semi non-traditional wedding reception. He's the best...it was perfect, exactly what we wanted!

Marcus was FABULOUS! He really got our vision for the day and how music played a big part in that. From the ceremony tunes all the way through our dance party reception, it was awesome! Our dance floor stayed packed the entire night!!

Mike did a great job DJing our wedding! He was a pleasure to work with during the planning process, and everything came together perfectly at the reception. He was a great host- careful to pronounce everyone's names correctly, read our signals when we wanted to end a dance a little early, and he read the crowd and kept them dancing the whole night.

We wanted to have about 25 minutes of Greek dancing during the reception, and Mike was very flexible and interested in trying something new. We make one big track out of our playlist and he introduced it at the right time, and was many guests' favorite part of the night.

Morse Entertainment's client portal was very helpful in starring songs to play/not play, and Mike made sure to get the songs we wanted that were not already in his library.

Our other vendors were excited to work alongside Mike as well, and we were so glad he DJed our reception!

I recently had Marcus Ward as the DJ for my wedding reception and he was fantastic!! He really listened to what we wanted and did a fabulous job reading the crowd and adjusting the music so everyone had fun. He is really talented at what he does and I can't say enough great things about him. I highly recommend him!

Mike Morse DJed our wedding and we can not say enough great things about him!! He was so easy to work with and had great ideas for the ceremony music and he handled the timeline of everything that happened perfectly. He knew exactly the right music to play and it kept everyone dancing all night long!! He played the perfect variety and really knew how to read the crowd to know what people liked. Everyone raved about how much fun they had at our wedding and how awesome our DJ was and we could not agree more!! You will not be disappointed if you hire Mike, we promise!!! We will definitely be contacting Mike whenever we need a DJ!

We had Marcus from DJ Mike Morse DJ at our wedding and he was awesome! Since we were planning everything from out of town, we never actually met in person with him, so I was a little weary about not meeting him before the big day. But wow, he really knew what he was doing and kept the party going all night! Everyone told us that they had the most wonderful time and we even had to add an hour to our reception because no one wanted to get off the dance floor. He really had a feel for the guests' music preference and played tunes that everyone could enjoy.

Well, we were dropped by DJ Mike Morse 2 months before our wedding. Of course, I was freaking out. But, little did I know...he did us a favor. We were giving DJ Derrick Meade as our new DJ, and we knew our reception was going to be great after we met him! Derrick did such a great job! He played a great variety of Island/Caribbean mix with old school hip hop and lots of the requests that I gave him. I was on the dance floor all night! Great job Derrick!

DJ Sami-Automatic L'Amir was a great DJ and a pleasure to work with! We met first at the Raleigh wedding show and he invited us to see him play at Clockwork in Raleigh. We went there and fell in love!!! We met him again a few weeks before our reception and he received all our comments openly and was flexible to add and/or take away anything we suggested, while still offering suggestions for things that he thought would add to our reception. Our wedding was the first same-sex wedding at Brier Creek Country Club, but it was also one of the classiest to date!! Sami provided the music for our ceremony as well as the reception. We had many songs that were not included in the playlist, but Sami got the music we requested. The reception was fun, energetic and flowed very smoothly. Everyone had fun and wanted to keep dancing all night!! The ONLY negative thing we can say is that we requested that Sami NOT play any "line" dances, such as cupid shuffle, etc. Some of our guests requested a line dance and he gave in. He did apologize later and everyone enjoyed it, but the point is that we asked that none of this type music be played! We would still recommend Sami to play at your wedding!

Overall, we were VERY pleased with the party that our DJ, Marcus, created at our wedding reception. Our guests were on the dance floor all night, and everyone had so much fun! We also used a GOBO and uplighting - both of which looked AWESOME. Guests were so impressed with the GOBO. We booked a photobooth through Morse Entertainment, and would not recommend it due to photo quality/final presentation. However, it still provided a fun/entertaining set up for our guests. We were very happy with our choice of Morse Entertainment.

Mike Biddle was the DJ for our wedding. He dresses professionally and is easy to talk with. The night of our wedding, his outfit matched our colors for the wedding. (This was not requested but appreciated.) Providing song selections was done electronically through the company’s provided links. Mike listens to your requests during meetings and reads the crowd for the right songs. We had a fantastic reception. There were a few songs (2-3 songs) played that I know I didn’t put on the playlist but it went with the flow. Otherwise, everything was superb. Also, my groom decided to change the mother-son dance song at the last minute before entrances and he accommodated without missing a beat.

The reason I took away two stars for quality is because of conflict connecting with the woman who handles the company’s money. She was trying to charge more than the agreed upon price when our date was approaching. She apologized and claimed their “system sometimes does this.” I’m just thankful I was keeping track of prices on my own, and emails so I could reference the contract we made. This was my only quarrel. On the plus side, she did respond to my emails quickly. But DJ Mike Biddle was fantastic. He listens to all your requests.

We had Mike Biddle as our DJ, and he was absolutely awesome! Played all of the songs we told him and worked with our live performer as well. We had heard DJ horror stories, but Mike kept the dance floor going all night.

Steer clear of Marc Ward for your wedding! My guests are still complaining about how awful and unprofessional he was. Marc was low-energy, mumbled the entire time and played inappropriate songs during our Sunday afternoon wedding even after speaking with him about the song choices. He is a talentless DJ who doesn't pick up on social/dancing cues at all. He has a bad attitude and even stopped playing early! We regret having him DJ at our wedding and would have been better off with Spotify instead. WHAT A JOKE.
