The Absolute Best Florist

Arlene and her team are the absolute BEST! Everyone that looks at our photos, comments on our gorgeous flowers. The arrangements, bouquets,center pieces, flower choices and colors were amazing. They go above and beyond and their creativity shows in every single item that they create. We are so thankful that they were our Florist. This is a choice you will never ever regret.

Wonderful Experience

My husband and I were so pleased with the team at Morrison’s and the beautiful florals they provided for our wedding! Arlene was extremely helpful at our initial consultation (especially since we knew literally NOTHING about florals going in). She pulled together an amazing quote for us at a great value. In the months leading up to our wedding, Morrison’s was super responsive whenever we had a question and coordinated with us to make sure our florals would arrive at the correct time to our ceremony and reception locations.

On the day of, the delivery team was early to our venue, extremely kind and helpful, and super efficient when setting up our centerpieces and other decor. All of our bouquets, corsages, and boutonnieres were gorgeous and lasted well throughout the day.

We are so thrilled with the service we received and would definitely recommend Morrison’s to any couple!

Excellent on every way! Arlene is the best!

We were so very pleased with the gorgeous flowers for our wedding! Fresh, beautiful, creative, and stunning! Arlene created a design for us twice (!) when I changed my color choice, and she did with understanding and good cheer. Morrison's is flexible, very responsive, creative and of the very highest quality. You can trust them to be extraordinary.

Absolutely Stunning!

As a person who knows nothing about flowers, I was worried about what to do for my wedding. Arlene and her team instantly eased my nerves and were so attentive in listening to our ideas and making them a reality. I knew we would have beautiful flowers but was completely in awe at their beautiful works of art. I can’t recommend Morrison’s flowers enough!

Gorgeous Flowers!!!

Morrison's was wonderful! I am still so happy with the bouquets they created for me and my bridesmaids. I had a last minute change (literally the week of) when the groom's father was able to attend the wedding. I called Morrison's within days of the wedding and she added an extra boutonniere at no extra charge!

Beautiful!!!!!!!

I cannot thank Arlene and her team enough for their hard work to make our dream a reality! We met with Arlene to go over the details and throughout the next year we made a few changes. Anytime I emailed or called, they responded very quickly. They even called me a few times to make sure they had all of the details correct. The floral arrangements and centerpieces were perfect and I LOVE my bouquet! Everything was so beautiful!

Highly Recommend Morrisons Flowers for your wedding!!

LOVED working with Arlene for our recent wedding! Her florals and decor were beautiful, and her prices are extremely reasonable. We gave her photos to copy, and the outcome was even better than the photos! She has in stock vases, and will find other products if she does not have what you want. She respects budgets, will brainstorm to give you the best value, and is just a nice person who cares if you are happy. We were thrilled with everything they did! You won't be sorry to choose them for your wedding!

Stunning Flowers

Our flowers were truly incredible. We lived out of state while planning for the wedding, so had to give a few inspirational pictures and trust Morrison's to execute. They more than delivered on our vision!
If I ever have another event in the Williamsburg area I'm running back to Morrison's for the flowers!

Gorgeous Wedding Flowers and Creative Designs (Morrison’s Flowers)

Morrison’s Flowers did a fabulous and very creative job with all of the flowers for our daughter’s wedding! From our initial meeting in January 2018 through the wedding day, Arlene Aitken (Owner) was very attentive to all our needs and truly delightful to work with. Since neither my daughter nor I know much about flowers, Arlene’s amazing expertise in florals, creative design and wedding planning were invaluable and hugely appreciated. Morrison’s Flowers created lovely flower arrangements for the altar of our church as well as beautiful flowing pew markers. The bride’s bouquet was stunningly gorgeous and her bridesmaids bouquets were lovely too. For the wedding reception, Arlene and her staff designed three unique types of floral arrangements for the tables which totally enhanced the beauty of the venue. And on the wedding day, we had every confidence that Morrison’s would successfully deliver and setup all our flowers in three different locations…and that they did perfectly! It is obvious that Arlene and her staff take great pride in doing an outstanding and creative floral job that makes each wedding day wonderfully special! And the best part was that we stayed within our flower budget throughout the wedding planning process. 5-Stars for Arlene Aitken and the Staff of Morrison’s Flowers…you truly are the Best!!!

So gorgeous!

So I had no idea what I wanted for flowers. They worked with me and showed me some samples until I narrowed down what I wanted for flowers. Now, I had royal blue and gold for my colors and blue flowers are hard to find. But they found some and my goodness the bouquet was gorgeous! The centerpieces I wanted to be simple, but they were so accommodating when I had to make a last minute change to indulge my in-laws' cultural beliefs. (If you're marrying a Korean, white mums are the only flower used for funerals; they represent death/dying/sadness--whoops).
The flowers were delivered on time and they held up well all day. All the flowers were fresh and since I had only a few flowers to decorate the reception and chapel, they really added that touch of elegance and simplicity that I was looking for. They can do ornate, but I'm a simple girl at heart, lol. I loved Morrison's and I'd use them again (for other occasions, no second wedding for me!)

Good quality and service

The ladies at Morrison’s were as sweet as can be and helped work with our budget and our ideas to create an absolutely gorgeous floral decorated rustic arch, beautiful centerpieces and amazing bouquets for myself and my girls. They worked with us to trim a little excess to stay within budget and focus on what was most important to us. Definitely recommend!

We loved working with Morrison's Flowers and Gifts. They understood our vision and helped bring it to life. They responded quickly and talked through each detail with us. They kept in touch throughout the year as we planned and were flexible as we needed to make changes even up until 3 weeks before. They arrived on time and delivered and set up everything and even came back after to clean it up. The flowers were top quality and the arrangements done flawlessly. Arlene are a pleasure to work with and made this part of wedding planning a breeze. We highly recommend them as a florist!

Morrison's Flowers was the best florist we could have chosen for our wedding. Out of all of our vendors, Arlene was the most professional, sweet, accommodating, and honest person we worked with. She really went above and beyond to ensure everything was special and perfect - and brought my Pinterest board to life! All of the flowers and decoration for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were how we envisioned and more.

Morrison's Flowers did a beautiful job on our wedding flowers, and they were a delight to work with! My bridesmaids wore floral dresses, so I wanted something simple but beautiful for their bouquets. Arlene designed lovely baby's breath bridesmaid bouquets. My sister even commented that she had no idea baby's breath could be so beautiful! I also requested additional flowers to pin into my hair, and they went above and beyond offering me a beautiful selection. I got tons of compliments! I found Arlene and Morrison's after I went to a friend's wedding and love their centerpieces. Arlene is so friendly and really brings the vision to life. I was able to tell her what my price range was for certain pieces and she made it happen! We were able to consult for 2-3 weeks via email until everything was just as I wanted. Morrison's was able to create the cascade bouquet I had always envisioned for my wedding day. Thank you!

I remotely planned my Williamsburg, VA wedding from Florida. I booked Morrison's blindly, but I made the best choice!! Morrison's was recommended to me by a friend in the area, and my Catering Manager at my venue told me Arlene was wonderful to work with! She made my vision come to life! The day of my wedding it snowed 7 inches! I was worried about vendors not delivering, but thanks to their forward thinking, they delivered the flowers early in the morning to ensure I would have my flowers for my wedding day. Proving both their reliability and flexibility. I absolutely LOVED the arrangement they put together. The colors and combination selection was outstanding and my bouquet turned out truly gorgeous. Words cannot do justice on the service we received. Arlene was great. We had ideas of what we wanted but did not know 100% and were getting stressed out. She had great ideas and she seemed to know what we needed without us saying. Arlene took what we had and made is beyond what we could imagine. We trusted her to make decisions on our wedding day because we were so full of nerves and she delivered. Arlene is one of the most honest vendors in Williamsburg. She truly wants the best for every couple. We had a large wedding, and as a result worked with many vendors. However, Arlene was one of the best of our vendors. Not only was she very helpful in giving us ideas for flowers and decor, she went out of her way to do things that other vendors would charge for. I highly recommend Morrison's Flowers if you are looking for a company that truly cares about your special day. Thank you Arlene and the team at Morrison's. You made our day so special.

Morrisons was so easy to work with. I had several last minute changes and they were so willing to make what I wanted perfect. They would send me texts of pictures of what The centerpieces would look like. And if I didn't like it, they changed it no problem. My flowers were literally perfect.

I cannot say enough good things about Arlene at Morrison's flowers! From day one, she was amazing. I didn't even have an appointment because I drove down to do a cake tasting with my daughter and son-in-law and didn't know how long it would take before I had to head back to DC. We had a little bit of time, so we stopped by. Arlene had an appt. coming in soon, but she took the time to meet with us. We appreciated her kindness - she could have turned us away and told us to make an appt. She truly cared about making everything perfect as if it were her own daughter's wedding. She called when the flowers came in and said the color of a certain flower was more orange than peach and she was concerned my daughter wouldn't be happy. I trusted her judgment - all of the flowers for the ceremony and reception were beautiful!! She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect for my daughter's special day! I would highly recommend her and would definitely use her services again.

Arlene and her team at Morrison's Flowers and Gifts did an amazing job with our wedding flowers! I'm a girl on a mission, but am always so indecisive! I sat down with Arlene months before the wedding and gave her a list of what I needed: bouquets, corsages, boutineers, etc., my budget, and the colors my girls were wearing. She asked for an inspiration photo and mentioned so many adorable ideas! I wanted something that would incorporate every bridesmaid (each having a different pastel colored dress) with an elegant and full look. Morrison's Flowers went above and beyond bringing that vision to life - I can still remember the excitement on everyone's face when their bouquet arrived. I can even recall pulling up in the limo and seeing our beautifully dressed arbor draped in eucalyptus! For someone who needs to be OCD and put together everything myself i'm beyond thrilled with how well it all turned out, and on time!!! It all just tied together so well! I highly recommend this team! From planned out requested details to the last minute requests - they can get it DONE!!!!

When I think flowers in Williamsburg, there is no option but Morrison's. They are hands down the BEST florist in the area. Arlene is INCREDIBLE. I gave her my ideas, a romantic theme. I told her I wanted two types of centerpieces and entrance and bar arraignments that complimented the style of classic Williamsburg and she delivered. If you go onto their FB, I was the bride that "chose pineapple for my entrance," also there are pictures on the Ford's Colony Country Club website of the work she did. It was just stunning! People are still raving about how beautiful everything was and I couldn't agree more. Also, Arlene was always available when I had a thought or an idea. As an out-of-town bride, this was of utmost importance. When I was in town, she made sure she was able to meet with me in person to help develop my vision. A cool thing I had her do was, instead of preserving the bouquet, which would be crazy expensive, Arlene is creating a silk floral wreath for me that I can hang every year around my anniversary. Thank you so much Arlene. my day wouldn't have been the same without you!

Arlene is a family friend and such a pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating when I needed to add things that I forgot to her proposal several times. And was more than accommodating when I wanted to change the bouquets slightly the morning of the wedding!

My husband and I got married in June of 2015- everyone told me that I would become fixated on one thing. For me, that was flowers. Since I was a little girl I dreamt of having seas of flowers on my wedding day. My mom recommended Morrison's, whom I have heard great things about in the past.

I currently live in Denver, CO, and Arlene was very helpful and flexible about scheduling a time to get together. Morrison's was so organized, and knew exactly what I was envisioning for our special day. I had printed some examples from Pinterest, and they blew those out of the water. Throughout the months leading up to our wedding, I skyped with Morrison's to see prototypes, constantly talked through email about details I wanted to add or subtract. They were so on point and helpful throughout the entire planning process.

I will never forget the day of my wedding when Arlene showed up to the venue with all of our arrangements and bouquets- it brought tears to my eyes. What they created was the most magical thing I have seen. It was truly the focal point of our entire wedding. If you are in the market for flowers for any occasion- you cannot go wrong with Morrison's. They were so fabulous to work with, helped me be stress free, and truly brought my vision to life. Thank you so much for all that you did!!!!

Arlene was so wonderful to work with! She genuinely cares about each brides big day and the flowers that will make it the most beautiful. No one ever tried to upsell me on anything, and I thought like everyone there was very committed to giving me the best service possible! They were very flexible when I needed to change the number of corsages and boutonnieres two weeks before the wedding. The flowers look beautiful, and held up remarkably well! We were able to reuse them the next day as centerpieces for our wedding brunch. I'd highly recommend Arlene and Morrison's flowers to anyone !!

Morrison's Flowers was a delight to work with. They made me feel secure that all the little details would be handled perfectly. The flower arrangement was absolutely beautiful and a great value too. They worked behind the scenes setting up all of our centerpieces at the reception, the unity candle arrangement at the church, and delivered the bridal bouquet and bride's maids flowers to my hotel room. I loved my flowers so much I have kept them as a keepsake in the entryway of my home. If you are looking for professionals whom have a great deal of talent, experience, and are very kind, then look no further than Morrison's Flowers!

Arlene is amazing! She really went above and beyond to not only listen to my needs/vision, but to recommend & suggest what would be the most beneficial to the day and the budget. I truly recommend Morrison's for your floral.

The best part: I do not know flowers very well, but we were able to communicate with pictures so I could show her what I liked and she used that to build a seasonal, beautiful bouquet within our budget.

We looked at several florists for our wedding, and when we met Arlene and Cindy, we knew we wanted to work with Morrison's! We did not know exactly what we wanted to do, and they helped us to craft a beautiful event that really felt like "us." We couldn't be happier with the results. The guests gave many compliments about the beautiful arrangements, and everyone kept saying that the bridal bouquet was one of the most beautiful they had ever seen. All of the credit goes to Morrison's!

I cannot say enough good things about Morrisons! They made my wedding unique and special. They worked along side me to ensure my finger print was on everything for my big day. They truly went above and beyond. I would recommend all friends and future brides to use Morrisons! I would choose them again in a heart beat!

I went in with a very vague idea of what I wanted for my wedding party flowers and bouquet. Arlene was so helpful and even looked at my pintrest ideas to help me put together something beautiful and cohesive. I was planning my event out of state and I was worried about what the final product would be like, it was wasted worry, trust me. My bouquet was gorgeous and the attendees and family flowers were perfect, tasteful and fresh! I could not have been more pleased. The price was very reasonable and they worked with me to pick flowers that achieved the look I wanted but we're in my tight budget.

I've know Arlene for a long time, so using her to do my wedding was a given. They were prompt with delivery, flexible with changes, and just overall fantastic. Not to mention, the flowers were gorgeous!

I was very pleased with my wedding flowers. I took pictures of exactly what I wanted and they were able to make it happen right down to the cork butioneers.

We worked with Cindy and Arlene for flowers for my wedding. They were extremely helpful in the planning process and worked hard to understand exactly what I wanted. My bouquet, the flowers for the cake and large arrangements were stunning and exactly what we'd discussed. They even supplied additional loose flowers with we used in various arrangements we made ourselves for wedding weekend events. The product was great and they were so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them.

Simply the best in Williamsburg. I met with 2 other florists and Morrison's presentation was the most professional and friendly of the 3 in town. Highly recommended!

I just got married a few weekends ago in Williamsburg and I am beyond thrilled that we worked with Morrison's. Arlene is definitely amazing at what she does and was so helpful with our wedding design. Morrison's prices are very reasonable especially for all of the hard work that is put into every arrangement! I would highly recommend Morrison's to any bride and groom getting married in the Hampton Roads area!! :)

Our wedding flowers were BEAUTIFUL - exactly as I envisioned. All flowers were fresh and lasted well after our wedding day (it's a week later and my bouquet is (in a vase) still gorgeous!) Arlene was easy to work with and took my suggestions without trying to change or add to them. She gave advice and made swaps based on what was fresh and available. I was very pleased with our flowers. Definitely recommend.

All I can say is WOW!

Ms. Arlene and her staff were unbelievable! The flowers for my wedding were better than I could have ever dreamed! I am not a "girly girl" so it was really hard to explain what was in my head, but Morrison's interpreted my vision in an amazing way. My entire family was blown away by her talent and professionalism.

I would hire them again any day!!!!

Amazing! Morrison’s did a wonderful job on our wedding flowers and we couldn’t be more pleased with them. We had a wedding out of town and Arlene and her team made sure the flowers held up all day long. We were actually able to enjoy the flowers for many days because they kept so well. The flowers were beautiful and she did a great job picking out the right flower combinations to match our colors and theme.

Morrison's did above and beyond work for my wedding. I worked with Arlene from begging to end. I described what I was looking for over the phone and when I came into the store she had a demo ready for me to look at all ready to go on the table! Surprisingly, it was as if she had taken a photograph from inside my mind! She was so easy to work wish, a real sweetheart, very flexible. We had to add extras at the last minute and it was no trouble what so ever. Their pricing is FAR worth the quality and service you get. I got so many compliments on my flowers and love them so much that I am having them frozen so that they look just the way they did on our wedding day! Thanks Morrisons!

After a nasty encounter with the most popular Williamsburg florist on the Knot, I was discouraged. I didnt want to use a vendor whom I had heard nothing about! But, I took a chace with Morrisons after I received their quoteArlene had the most creative ideas of any florist I met with, in addition to being one of the most reasonably priced. She was also extremely flexible with our budget and never made me feel bad about itladies, if a vendor ever makes you feel bad about your budget or tries to bully you into paying more by ignoring your budget guidelines, then dont deal with them!! We never did any mock-ups before the wedding, but I was extremely pleased with everything! I actually checked my email the day of the wedding and Arlene had sent me an email that simply said, YOURE GOING TO LOVE THE BOUQUETS! You can tell she loves her job, and she is a super sweet lady. My bouquet was lovely and simple, just like I had requested. The bridesmaid bouquets were perfect; they loved them! And, Arlene even cloved some of the oranges in the centerpieces, which she offered to do for me if she found the time without paying extra. Now, thats a good vendor! I dont understand the knottie fascination with one particular florist and when there are (in my opinion) better ones out there! Give Morrisons and Arlene a chancethey are a small family business and it shows in how they treat you!

Arlene and her flower shop ladies always super sweet when you meet with them and via email. Her shop is beautiful and the flowers even more so. I received so many compliments on my centerpieces and bouquets for myself and my girls. My event was the first time I utilized their services and I will continue to do so. The flowers for my wedding turned out great! I worked with Cindy and Arlene and they were fabulous. They helped to refine my ideas to fit my budget. The flowers for the church were gorgeous and seamlessly worked well with the other flowers at the reception. I had lilies in my bouquet and they made sure the remove all of the pollen so that I didn't have to worry about staining my dress or hands. I wish I had requested that I had the bouquets delivered to the hotel for pictures while I got ready. I was very happy with all of the flowers and would definitely recommend! Their prices were very reasonable, especially compared to other places in the area.

We used Morrison's for our wedding on 12/31/13. They were great!! Their knowledge of what types of flowers and accoutrements would work with our vision was incredible. Everything came out looking beautiful.

The only complaint I would have is that I think we ended up with one too many boutineers, and the groom's boutineer was supposed to have black silk, not blue. I don't know on whose end the first error was, but we were definitely missing a black silk boutineer.

Overall, though, Morrison's was EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend them to anyone having a wedding in the Williamsburg, VA area!

I chose to work with Morrison's because a friend of mine used them for her wedding last year. Arlene was very professional and open to all my ideas. She worked with me on what flowers I liked vs. what flowers were available for our October wedding, and took into account my budget as well. I did end up spending a little more on flowers because 'floral' was one of my themes.

The centerpieces were collections of 3 vases of different sizes, in which Arlene arranged 3 different flowers to create a romantic, eclectic look. The bouquets were stunning--white and pink roses with accents of dusty miller (Arlene's suggestion)--and the boutonnieres and corsages matched. We also had Morrison's do a centerpiece for the church and flowers to decorate the cake.

Arlene and her staff were very punctual in getting the flowers to the venues first thing, so they would already be in place when photos were taken, and Arlene placed the flowers on the cake herself to make sure the effect was perfect.

Our flowers were beautiful and nearly 2 weeks after the wedding are still blooming beautifullyl in arrangements around the house. I'm very glad I chose to go with Morisson's--there was no stress involved!

I am SO thankful that I selected Morrison Flowers for our wedding! Arlene and Cindy are absolutely amazing to work with and it was such a joy to get to know them and watch as they helped shape my vision. I am extremely OCD and it was hard for me to let go and rely on sending pictures, etc. and then only seeing the final creation the day of, but they blew me away! I had shared my Pinterest pages and print outs with them and they took the time to sit down with me over multiple meetings to truly make sure they captured my vision. Arlene also helped me on pricing and what items to cut down on when I needed to get the price down. She didn't make me feel bad about the need to cut costs and helped me decide which items were a must. She was also creative in thinking of ways to reuse the flowers from the ceremony for the reception. I am going to truly miss working with these ladies and cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with their services! Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make our wedding dream a reality!

They were very nice and extremely flexible, and we made many changes through out working with them and they were happy to change things for us. Our only complaint is my husband's boutineer fell apart to the point that it couldn't be fixed right before our wedding ceremony.
