    Exactly what we were looking for!

    We rented chairs from Morris Tents for our wedding in September. They were outstanding to deal with throughout the process, through answering inventory questions, booking, payment, delivery, pick up, etc. and rentals were excellent quality, exactly what we wanted. I saw another review mention high prices, but I inquired with a number of vendors and for the chairs we rented I found them to have the nicest chair for what we were looking for at the lowest cost (and no minimum, THANK YOU!) I highly recommend!

    Great service and many rental options

    My husband and I rented our tent, tables, chairs, dance floor, bar and linens from Morris Tent. Their customer service was great. They answered all my questions and made recommendations to help us get exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of party rentals.

    Fantastic products

    Lydia was great to work with! If you have something I’m mind, ask if they have it & they probably do! Being out of town I asked for some things I was looking for, and found a few items on their Facebook that I loved. They are reasonably priced and did a fantastic job!

    Reliable team!

    Lydia from Morris Tent Rentals provided my day of coordination and rentals for my recent wedding at Stonewall Estate in Delhi, NY. The wedding rentals were in good condition, on time and appropriate for the 160 people at the event. Our cocktail hour was outside and we had to make sure we had a big enough tent for all of my guests. Lydia was able to give me great advice with her experience- luckily, we had no rain but we were prepared in case!

    Great Rental Company!

    We used Morris rentals for our 40 x 80 tent, dance floor, tables and chairs. Rachael and the team were very nice and responsive to all our Qs through the booking process (although it'd be a lot easier if there was a PDF they could send out with prices instead of having to email each time). Prices were totally fair.
    The dudes that showed up to put the tent up were actually amazing. Friendly, efficient, strong. Cannot recommend them enough. Thanks!

    We had a great experience with Morris Rentals! We rented our tent, chairs, tables, silverware, and linens from them and everything was great! Tracie helped us with the coordination and planning--she was so helpful and knowledgeable; she made the whole process really easy! Would definitely recommend them for any event!

    Right up until the deadline Morris was willing to work with us even after we kept changing our minds about what we wanted. We ended up going with a mixture in linen colors and lights to go with the autumn colors outside the tent. Everything was beautiful. The people set the tent up two days in advance giving us plenty of time to move anything around that we needed to. Everyone was a delight to work with and they made our day perfect. Thank you so much!

    We rented a tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glasses, dishes, and lighting from Morris Tent for our wedding. They were very easy to work with and the quality of their inventory was great. The staff was very flexible and they worked with us up to the last few days before our wedding to finalize exact numbers and items that we needed.

    We do not live in the area so the staff was willing to meet with us on a Saturday afternoon. The service we received was exceptional.

    The inventory and choices offered to us were extensive. Lydia worked with us to perfect a floorplan to compliment the space we had. We did a mix of different sized tables that ended up working perfectly. Lydia had a lot of knowledge about events and was helpful in organizing the ceremony seating and cocktail hour to make our guests most comfortable.

    I was nervous getting married in a location that required us to rent so many items, but Morris Tent made it easy to do. I would highly recommend using Morris Tent for any event, they were great to work with and helped make our wedding beautiful.

    The staff at Morris Tent rentals is very helpful and professional. If they don't have a picture of an item on the thier website, no problem, they will take one and send it to you. They were always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls, very polite and the prices were great. They are the type of vendor that cares that your event goes off right.

    Flexible with last minute additions to order

    Prior to my wedding I arrange renting a tent for cocktail hour at The Farmer's Museum. Lydia and the staff at Morris Tent Rentals knew exactly what I needed and sent me a quote right away. They were very easy to work with. About 2 days before my wedding there was rain in the forecast so I called Morris Tent Rentals and they arranged a second tent to be set up for the ceremony. The day before the wedding they met with the event coordinator and called me to make sure the tent was set-up exactly where I wanted it. Thankfully, the weather turned out to be beautiful but I had peace of mind that there was a tent if we needed it.
    I appreciated how flexible the team at Morris Tent Rentals was!

    Easy Rentals!

    Morris Tent Rentals was great to work with! They worked together with our caterer (L.M.Townsend Catering) and venue (The Farmers' Museum) on everything related to the layouts, rentals, and deliveries. Lydia was quick to respond and happily worked with us to select options within our budget. On our actual wedding day, everything looked great and all of our rentals were in good condition! We would happily recommend.

    We had our wedding in an open park with no buildings at all so Morris Tent helped us turn the park into a great venue. There was no issue at all with changing items and number of guests. With either a phone call or replying to their email I was able to make changes and received a new quote within 24 hours. The one issue we did have was when the tent was set up there was no lights on the order but it looked like a mix up when the company switched systems. The installer called the office and they had someone get the lights and extra table clothes, since we were short two, in a car and drove them the 2 hours from Morris, NY to the park in Nelson, NY. When the got there they went right to installing the lights and we were all set.

    Working with Morris (Rachael in particular) was great from the very beginning. They took the time to go through all of our options and draw up several diagrams of what the layout of the tent would look like. Customer service was outstanding and responses to our calls and emails were always prompt. The only issue we had was that many of our items were not shipped with our original shipment. It seemed like when they got our order together, they were using an old order sheet that we had filled out rather than the most recent one that had everything included. However, upon reaching out to Rachael to let her know we had some items missing, she made sure we got them as soon as possible. As mentioned, Morris' customer service is outstanding and definitely makes up for any mistakes. Our tent was beautiful, but just know that some of the tables and chairs are in rough shape, so having tablecloths and chair covers is something you may want to consider.

    Very good company to work with within our local area. The staff was very helpful, professional, and pleasant to work with. They were very reasonable in their pricing and worth the expense should you be responsible for this piece of your wedding planning.

    I only rented table linens from Morris, so my experience is limited to that, however they have a variety of rental items to chose from. Specific to my experience, the only negative I would offer is that this vender does not too many linen color/style choices, but we were able to find a color which matched our decor quite well. Also, plan on picking up clean linens and dropping off soiled to their offices following event (which, although I'm unsure if this is standard for other linen rental companies, this is what we did).

    Morris Tent was actually half the estimate we had from another tent company. Very good communication and great cooperation. My only downfall was a tent liner for the inside of the tent was, in my opinion, too high priced.

    I only rented chairs for our ceremony, so I understand I probably was not a high priority for them. When I made my final payment a few weeks ahead of time, I asked if someone had to be there for the delivery of the chairs (day before the wedding). I was told yes, and that I would get a phone call morning of with an approximate time. Okay, fine. Phone call never came. I called them telling I never received the call, and what time the chairs were being dropped off, and the same woman who told me someone had to be there a few weeks prior said "Aren't they just dropped them off? You don't have to be there" so it was a little frustrating but at least it was one less thing I had to do the day before our wedding.

    We hired Morris Tent Rentals for our June wedding. I was assigned a new associate who did not have that much experience. She was very easy to work with in the planning process and always responded to me. I also made a number of changes while planning, and as I was planning from another state, they were helpful during the planning stage. My dissappointment however came the weekend of the wedding. They were supposed to contact me prior to setting up, and I did not receive that call. THey were also supposed to call the site to coordinate with our caterer, and I ended up having to do that. The woman I liked and had worked closely with, did not come on site at the time I was there (we were there for several hours). The celing of the tent was dirty and some of the tables were not correctly arranged, although they did fix these issues when we asked. Overall, it was honestly a stressful day being there for the tent set-up and not having the support person there as promised. For $5000, I expected a higher level of service. When I called to speak with Morris that day, the office staff treated me as if I was annoying them and complaining over minor details. Again, having just paid them $5000, I did not appreciate that treatment given that certain aspects of the set-up needed to be corrected. I will say, the tent did look stunning at the wedding and everything came out looking beautifully. Also, as I said they were very easy to work with throughout the planning process and planning with a bride from another state is not easy. However, had I not been there to supervise the tent set-up myself, some things would have been missed. I think had they been more hands on during the tent set-up, our experience would have been different.

    A rocky road, but eventually turned out ok

    The owner just about gave me a heart attack when he called a little over a week before my wedding and informed me that he was cancelling my rental, which payment had already been arranged for, because he was overbooked, and then proceeded to hang up on me.

    This review would be taking a very different tone right now if it wasn’t for his wonderful account manager, Lydia, who set him straight, and told him that they would be honoring our agreement. The dance floor ended up arriving on time, and was average quality.

    Their office staff seems a bit clueless. The set up team was great and in the end we got what we needed and wanted but it was a struggle the whole way through. Really this is the only vendor that made my life more difficult when planning my wedding and causing more stress to planning a wedding shouldn't happen from a vendor like this! Their office team seriously needs to be more organized and know what's going on. I would not recommend them.
