Everything was magical! My bouquet exceeded all of my expectations! The centerpieces were complemented all night long, and the vision of Brian was everything and more!

Bryan was very pleasant to work with. He made nice size tall arrangements for our wedding with some dangling crystals with a very reasonable price. We needed arrangements for 40 tables plus our table; i was very pleased with the end work.I defltenely recommend this place.

Morningside Greenhouse did such an amazing job for my wedding! Brian was extremely helpful, professional, and he gave his honest opinion (even if it was the cheaper option - which MOST florists would never do). I got married on site in the middle of July, he recommended which flowers I should use AND he offered to use the same flowers that I was using as my center pieces to decorate my venue for my ceremony. I could not have asked for a better florist!

Morningside Greenhouse did an amazing job with our flowers for our wedding day. Brian and his staff were extremely easy to work with and helpful with any questions we had along the way. Brian knows so much about flowers which helped immensely when determining the kind of flowers that would be best to use for my bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets, and the boutonnieres for the men. The flowers created by Morningside matched my vision for our wedding day. Morningside Greenhouse did an amazing job with our flowers and I would highly recommend using them.

We used Morningside Greenhouse for both my bridal shower and wedding flowers this past October and December of 2017. I can’t say enough great things about Brian and the team there. They did a fantastic job on both occasions and we were so pleased with the floral arrangements and exceptional customer service. We were able to have a few meetings with Brian to review our vision, talk through ideas and create a beautiful end result. Our vision truly came to life exactly as we planned and we had so many compliments at both events on the flower arrangements and bridal bouquets. We also did our due diligence before booking and Morningside Greenhouse by far had the best prices and value without compromising the end result. We can’t say enough good things here and definitely recommend the team at Morningside Greenhouse for your next event. You will not be dissapointed.

Morningside is very professional the 2 times i went to go over all my flowers. They tell you every detail .. what goes with what .. what flower is in season what flowers not to put ... my center pieces came out perfect everything i imagined ..

I am so happy we went with Morningside Greenhouse for our Wedding! They were a pleasure to work with, affordable, and the finished products were absolutely beautiful. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and honest when it comes to flowers. My mom and I went into our first appointment with a very vague vision of what we wanted, and Brian was able to completely direct us and finalize our bouquets, centerpieces, etc. He knows what flowers will be in season, what is in style, and what to stay away from. We wholeheartedly trusted Brian! We had our ceremony at the venue, and the Morningside staff set up our centerpieces on stanchions outdoors during the ceremony, then moved them to our reception tables during Cocktail Hour - it was amazing that we were able to use our centerpieces for both parts of the wedding! I was absolutely OBSESSED with my bouquet, and my bridesmaids' bouquets were gorgeous as well - Brian was able to wrap my bouquet with a piece of my mom's wedding dress, which really made it even more special. Everything ended up looking absolutely beautiful ... Morningside Greenhouse made our Big Day even more perfect than we imagined!

Morningside Greenhouse did a fantastic job for my wedding! Brian really listens to you and he really knows everything there is to know about flowers. On top of being so nice and doing a great job, they are also super affordable! They gave us a much better price than other florists we went to. They are very flexible and do an amazing job. I definitely recommend them to other couples looking for a florist who will do an amazing job!

Morningside Greenhouse (specifically Brian) was an absolute pleasure to work with. After doing a ton of research and meeting with a few other florists, Brian clearly had the best understanding of what we were looking for, as well as the ability to stay within our minimal budget (even slightly under in some cases!) He did our estimated pricing right on the spot which gave me a huge level of confidence. Further, we were invited back for two additional meetings to discuss the flowers in more detail and view samples of the centerpiece.

The day of the wedding, our delivery actually came early which was great. They needed no guidance at all and the room looked amazing.

Brian was very knowledgeable about the fall collection of flowers! I provided him with pictures and he made my creations come to life. The flowers; bouquet, centerpieces, and overall decorations were stunning. 5 stars!

We loved the flowers for our ceremony and tables at our wedding. Originally when the bridal bouquet was dropped off, it wasn't exactly what I had pictured, but they came back and fixed it to make it look like I had pictured. Thank you!!

My fiance and I were very happy with all of our flowers. We had a few meetings with them to discuss centerpieces, bouquets and substitutes in case our choices were not "in season." They were very professional and helpful throughout the process. I wanted yellow roses and Lilly of the valley for my bouquet, no substitutes...yellow rose was my moms favorite flower and lilly of the valley was my husband's mothers' favorite flower. My bouquet was beyond beautiful....everyone complimented on how stunning the bouquets and centerpieces were! I would recommend Morningside to everyone!

My wedding took place at the Brownstone and Morningside was suggested by the Brownstone. They were my second florist that I visited and I am so glad that I went with them. They had evening hours which made it convenient for my fiance & I who were coming from Brooklyn. Bryan the owner was not pushy, offered great suggestions and ideas that I did not think of and created beautiful bouquets and centerpieces for our wedding. They offered you three price points and you only need a $100 deposit to hold the date. Bryan's daughter created the centerpieces and did a great job. Some of the flowers stayed alive for two weeks after the wedding. We had tall centerpieces with crystals and candles and we did not have to pay for the stands. Bryan, his daughter and staff were great to work with and I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Morningside was so helpful in choosing the right colors and centerpieces. They are reasonably priced and really did a great job making our wedding venue look beautiful. They arrived on time and delivered everything they promised.

We booked them and on the wedding day the flower arrangements and the bride’s bouquet was wonderful. They designed the bride’s bouquet as she requested it, the flowers were fresh. They provided a variation of prices to accommodate the needs to the party, from economic to extravagant. I would booked them again.

Both of my sisters, my friends and I have used morningside for our weddings and I would recommend anyone who wants top quality and service at a great price to use Morningside and work with Brian. He knows everything you need to know and will be honest with you when it comes to price and style. His prices are unbeatable for the level of quality and service that he provides. He will work with any kind of budget you need and make sure you get exactly what you had envisioned. He was so easy to work with and since my husband and I didnt know that much about flowers, he worked with us and we trusted him completely. The girls flowers, centerpieces and my bouquet was exactly what I envisioned. He was such a pleasure to work with and really made the flowers one of the easiest things to check off our list.

I can't say enough good things about working with Brian Fischer, owner of Morningside Greenhouse. He met with us on three separate occasions to discuss every detail of our plans. His knowledge and creativity were unmatched by any of the other florists we considered.

Brian knew how to locate flowers that were in season (lowering the cost) that would compliment the look and feel of our wedding - taking into account my dress, the location, the time of year and the overall vintage theme.
He came to the table with lots of ideas for our changing budget. He returned every phone call and was a pleasure to work with.

On the day of the wedding, the first time I started crying was when I arrived at the location and saw the incredible landscape he created.

I fully recommend Morningside Greenhouse.

Brian from Morningside Florist was amazing. I had no ideas for flowers and subsequently changed my mind 100 times. He was so patient meeting with us several times and making different examples for us to look at. All of the flowers came out wonderful, especially my bouquet which was absolutely perfect. Morningside does a fantastic job and is much cheaper than any other florist we met with.

Brian is a true artist with flowers. We met many florists to compare prices and his are by far the best and at the same time we strongly felt he was the most capable and talented. He made us so confident in his ability and you can just tell he's connected to the flowers. He really listened to what we wanted and then offered his advice and we used it each time. I cannot tell you how gorgeous the centerpieces and bouquets were. Absolutely perfect.

We worked with Brian--couldn't say better things about him. We met with a few times to go over flowers and prices. He was so helpful in terms of prices--he gave us price ranges and was so mindful of budget constraints. All of the flowers were gorgeous, but everything else paled in comparison with my bouquet. STUNNING is not the word. My bridal bouquet was all different shades of purple and I could not have been more blownaway with the results.

Brian at Morningside Greenhouse is wonderful! He met with us several times to discuss exactly what we wanted at our wedding. I was so excited and pleased with Morningside's work. Our centerpieces were beautiful, and the bouquets were picture perfect. Brian is not just a business man but definitely an all around great person. He is not looking to get your just for your money like most people in the wedding industry are, he's very fair and will tell you if something is not worth the cost. I recommend Morningside to everyone. You will not be disappointed!

My daughter was married in April of 2009 and the selection of the florist was very important to us. My family had been in the flower business for all of my life until a few years before the wedding. Morningside Greenhouses was well-known to be as a competitor with a great reputation. After my first meeting with Brian, I realized that this was a unique operation--weddings are their specialty--and the photos of his work were impressive. Having been in the business for years, I had ideas of what I wanted as did my daughter, but I hadn't done a wedding in a very long time. Brian took the time to re-educate me as to what would work best to achieve the results we wanted. The flowers were absolutely spectacular and exceeded every expectation. We put ourselves into his hands completely, trusting in his knowledge and experience, and it was one of the best decisions we made in planning the wedding. The effect he created with flowers and candles at the reception was remarkable. The church was simply lovely as were the bridesmaids' and the bride's bouquets. We truly could not have been more pleased. He is a consummate professional and artist. We cannot recommend Morningside Greenhouses more strongly.

Flowers were beautiful, loved the centerpieces. Owner was very knowledgeable in flowers and offered good suggestions and "dos and don'ts". Only complaint is that the boutonnières showed up late to the church (5 minutes before the ceremony!)

My wife wanted white and pink orchids in the middle of each table. We were informed that orchids are particularly very expensive and will cost a hefty load more if they are removed from their pots and cut to be placed in vases. My wife was so content on the idea and we ended up going through with it. The final result was just pure beauty. Morningside was very prepared. They drew us sketches and made sure we were 100percent sure with what we wanted before they closed the deal. They were there early to place the centerpieces and didn't waste any time. They were in and out and even followed-up with us after the wedding to guarantee satisfaction.

The guy in charge was very nice and patient. He sat down and explained things to us and worked with me on what I wanted and told me what was possible and what would work and what would be cheaper. The only problem I had was that they messed up the color of my bouquet. My bouquet was supposed to be all blue, my maid of honor's was supposed to be blue and white, and the other two bridesmaids' were supposed to be all white. Instead we got two all white and two blue and white, so me and my sister had the same bouquets, even though I wanted them to be different. It wasn't that big of a deal, but it just wasn't exactly what I had wanted.

From the day I walked into Morningside to see if my wedding date was available, Brian was warm and welcoming. He sat with me for almost two hours discussing my options, especially since we were on a very tight budget. That being said, he found a way to stay affordable while making sure everything was beautiful. Our centerpieces looked classy and elegant, people raved about my bridal bouquet (also very affordable!), and all of the bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres (etc.) blended together perfectly. Also, our ceremony decorations and wedding canopy were gorgeous. When I walked into Morningside several months ago, I knew NOTHING about flowers, colors, or coordinating...but Brian took care of everything. Thank you, Morningside!

My husband (now) and I went to a family friend's wedding (before we were even engaged). We liked her centerpieces alot and when we were in the midst of planning for our wedding she recommended to consider Morningside Greenhouse. She was also very pleased with her flowers.
After considering other vendors in the area of NJ, my husband and I couldn't have been more happier with choosing Morningside Greenhouse to service us on the day of our wedding. We were blown away with how much Brian Fischer knew about what flowers to choose and what not to choose, especially for the summertime.
The day of the wedding I was very happy and impressed with how the flowers came out. Everything from the boutonnieres, corsage, centerpieces and last but not least the bouquet looked so beautiful !!

The centerpiece were amazing and came out much nicer than I expected. There was only one mishap which was they forgot to provide the flowers for the Virgin Mary at the church. Other than that I was completely satisfied with their service! Their prices are great too!

Flower add the color and smell you want at your wedding but I didn't want to pay an outrageous price for them. Most of the florists i visited with were charging very high prices for arrangements that didn't include the most exotic flowers. Thank God I found morningside greenhouse. Brian, the owner, is an expert in flowers. He was extremely honest about what flowers would and would not be seasonally available at the time of my wedding. he educated me on the various flowers and their substitutes. Any time he made a change, he called me in advance to let me know. He is a true connoisseur and professional. He will work within your budget and i highly recommend him

The flowers from Morningside Greenhouse were spectacular. The arrangements were perfect in size and color and lasted days after the wedding. I wanted flowers to match our wine color theme but didn't have many options for the season (fall) but Brian and I worked together and came up with what turned out to be the prettiest bouquets and centerpeices. He was extremely knowledgable in both style and color, showing me how different looks blended or contrasted with our color and offered many options in details once we picked a base. He recommended arrangements that worked specifically with our venue's lighting (indoors and out) as well as in our wedding pictures. He even created an actual centerpeice with me in his shop prior to my wedding and graciously accepted my last minute changes. The communication was great and delivery on wedding day was perfect. I had a little trouble envisioning the arrangements (I think we changed them too many times) until the wedding day but once I saw them, my jaw dropped in amazement. They were beautiful!

Lets be honest, all flowers are beautiful! Unless you have an aversion to any one particular flower (like I do to carnations), its very hard to pick the "perfect" centerpiece! I must have changed my mind four or five times (color, style, flowers, etc) and it wasnt until a few days before the wedding that I made my "final" decision. Brian at Morningside was very patient and accomodating. He worked with me without getting annoyed, which is HUGE! He was on-time, the flowers were fresh and best of all they were reasonably priced! Oh, he is very busy so its hard to get in touch with at the shop and he is not very responsive to emails-but dont get discouraged. He schedules plenty of face to face meetings and by the last one (which will be in ample time before the wedding) all of the loose ends will be tied. My only advice to anyone who chooses Morningside: take pictures of what you are looking to have, especially if it is a uniquely arranged centerpiece or bouquet. He will give you lots of options but wont direct you very much. As he said, at the end of the day, its WHATEVER YOU WANT!

My flowers were very lovely. The decor at the church and the reception site were very appropriate and lovely. My only complaint would be the two bouquets on the alter of my church had alot of orange in the bouquets, and my colors were periwinkle and silver. My bouquet had alot of blues and peaches and pinks, and whites, and I"m not sure where the orange had come up. Otherwise, I was very happy with the vendor, and I use them for other flower needs as well. It is also nice to know that they are a family run florist, and has been for a long time.

My centerpieces and bouquets were beautiful. The only glich was that they forgot my father's boutineer but they returned with it quickly. Brian know what he's doing! I'm very happy with them.

My husband and I were so pleased with our floral arrangements. I got exactly what I wanted and they stayed within our budget. Our wedding was very intimate and the floral arrangements just topped it off perfectly. I am so glad we chose Mountainside Greenhouse as our vendor. My bouquet was EXACTLY what I wanted. Perfection!

My flowers were not that important to me for my wedding...I only did personal flowers i didn't have floral centerpieces....that being said I guess you get what you pay for. My bridesmaids flowers were falling apart so quickly and I used Hydrangeas and I think that had a huge factor in it. But I also paid to have my maid of honors bouquet to be larger then the rest of my bridesmaids and it wasn't larger at all...my bouquet was gorgeous and it was exactly as i wanted. I just feel that there are other options out there and yes morningside has lower prices but maybe pay a little more to get better quality. I will say thought that i did add a bridesmaids bouquet one day before the wedding and they were accommodating in figuring out a way to make it because they said they used all the roses they ordered already.

We enjoyed working with Brian making the ceremony and reception plans. Brian has been doing this for years and is very helpful and brilliant. We discussed everything we would need. The day of the wedding was going perfectly although there was a miscommunication and no way to resolve it by phone on a Sunday which isn't during business hours. We finally received our bouquets minutes before the ceremony walk down the aisle and they were lovely. We all were very pleased! However the ceremony site had a candle bouquet that did not match my color scheme at all! I can't believe its in all our pictures. The reception was decorated and lovely. However they promised to decorate our cake which we made very clear and there was not a single flower on our cake. All in all these little mishaps did not change the day. We had an enchanting ceremony and lively reception. I thank you all for your hard work.

Stressful and Difficult to Work With

I found working with this florist to be difficult and stressful. Whenever a phonecall was answered, they acted too busy and bothered to have a conversation. I was never made aware of the final price and never had a chance to approve the overall budget, leaving me feeling blindsided by the overall cost days before my wedding. An extremely important request was missed, resulting in not having a very special planned surprise for my mother. I gave a final table count 6 weeks ahead of the event and it went ignored, which resulted in being charged for 3 additional table centerpieces. We paid extra money for the boutonnieres to be orchids and they were red roses instead. The flowers were beautiful, I'm just disappointed by the overall experience.

Morningside is flexible with their pricing and offer a high, medium, and low price for every item which is what pulled me in. Things were great leading up to my wedding. I made several appointments and spoke to Brian several times to work out details such as the colors of the LED lights and roses for my centerpieces.

Unfortunately, on my wedding day, my white bridal bouquet arrived to the hotel we were getting ready at bruised and brown. They did attempt to fix it and it looked better when they brought it back, but within two hours my bouquet was completely wilted. I was embarrassed to walk into my reception with my bouquet. There other minor discrepancies which were fixed. My biggest disappointment was that the centerpieces at my reception were missing the LED lights. He said it was error. No surprise considering the contract was written out on carbon paper that was scribbled and written over several times. Shame on me for ignoring this red flag!

Matters got worse the next morning. We received a phone call from Brian accusing my guests of stealing the rented centerpiece vases. He told us we had to foot the bill. Thankfully our venue took care of everything. Turned out the staff at the venue placed them in a different location. I found it completely unprofessional that Brian called us, the morning after our wedding day, before consulting with the venue.

I was very disappointed with this florist. Thankfully, this was the only glitch I had on my wedding day.

the flowers for my wedding were beautiful and all of the guests loved them, but they were not exactly what i asked for. I was also charged for items that were not delivered and there were gaping holes in some of my centerpieces. Also they are not up to date with the latest styles and ideas I was dissapointed.

I am still sick to my stomach every time I think back to my flowers on my wedding day. I trusted Morningside Greenhouse as they have been around for years, and Brian knows everything there is to know about flowers, but not only did they deliver sub par results, their attitude was even worse.

Initially, Brian put my mind completely at ease. He is very knowledgeable and even steered me away from certain flowers that he knew would not be available or be too costly. We met on 2 separate occasions to go over pricing and a centerpiece sample. The sample was a red flag as it was nothing like what I had asked for/provided pictures of/spoke about with Brian or what he WROTE DOWN on my contract. Fortunately, he was able to fix it within minutes and even add the special branches that were suppose to extend outward. He even took PICTURES on his iPad, as I did on my phone, to ensure that he would have it correct on the big day. Well, it wasn't - no branches and it only consisted of hydrangeas and roses - which were the wrong color.

All of the flowers were a complete mess. My bouquet was a browning ball (supposed to be a loose arrangement) when it was delivered and almost all of the outer flowers were smashed. I immediately called Brian on the phone to tell him and he denied everything, even though I was staring at his finished product. He gave me a horrible attitude and asked "Well what do you really want me to do about it?" I was shocked and disgusted. In addition, every single one of the groomsmen's boutonnieres, ranunculus, fell off the bud, leaving no petals behind before the ceremony! Fortunately, Brian delivered rose boutonnieres right before I walked down the aisle, but that did not change the fact that the originals were horrible.

Biggest waste of money I have ever spent. Phony business and rude service.

PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST FOR YOUR WEDDING. YOU WILL REGRET IT. I met with Brian (owner) on 2 different occasions and spoke on the phone 2 weeks before my wedding. I explained in great detail and with photos exactly what I wanted. It was all in vain. 1st, my flowers arrived in boxes, no vases and no water, at 1:00 and my wedding ceremony wasn't until 6:30. We had to scurry to find vases for them so they wouldn't wilt in the 5 1/2 hours until my SUMMER ceremony. I was only given 4 long stem peonies for mothers/grandmothers, but I ordered and paid for 5. My groom's boutonniere was pink instead of white. I was only given one Maid of Honor bouquet instead of two, but I paid for two. The colors of the flowers were different shades of bubblegum pink and white instead of the blushes and creams that I asked for. My bouquet was supposed to have my locket with pictures of my deceased parents in it, tied around the base of the bouquet. Brian argued with me and said it would be uncomfortable to hold and no one would see it. I told him I didn't care and that's where I wanted it. Well, the locket was suspended up inside the bubblegum pink flowers (WTF?) instead of tied around the base like I asked. Although the bouquet was beautiful, it wasn't what I asked for. Additionally, my bridesmaids' bouquet colors were completely wrong and consisted of only 5 peonies and some ugly green grass looking stuff, even though I gave Brian a huge list of the different flowers I wanted in the bouquets. They were very small and cheap looking. They were supposed to be "medium" sized, I would hate to see what their "small" size looks like. The centerpieces were very beautiful, no complaints there. The biggest let down was how unprofessionally this was all handled. Brian screamed and yelled at my planner when she called, saying he gave me everything I contracted for. His "contract" is illegible chicken scratch handwriting on carbon copy paper. I'm the idiot who didn't question that. Grrr

Horrible experience

If I could honestly give this review 0 stars I would... our wedding was ruined because of Morningside Greenhouse and I would not recommend them to anyone, not even my worst enemy. It was so horrible that our venue had to fix their problems and now our very well known venue is no longer recommending them as a florist. Our centerpieces were set up in the wrong room, a different wedding. And when the owner approached my husband to tell him, he tried to tell him that its not his problem and he couldn't fix it. "It was too late and not my problem". BRIAN was so rude and should not be a business owner. So WE had the owner of the venue fix it. We almost didn't have centerpieces for our reception! SO we had flowers for our centerpieces that were USED at the other wedding. Then we ordered flowers for our cake.. which we never got and they refuse to give us a refund! And my bridesmaids bouquets were not even the slightest bit close to what we had asked for. The colors were wild bright colors when we had asked for mauve and light pink...obviously the contract is a lie. The groomsmen were suppose to have Burgundy roses.... they ended up having a bright red rose! Morningside Greenhouse ruined my wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whatever you do... DO NOT USE MORNINGSIDE GREENHOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!

could have been better, the mothers corsages were little and no where near what we discussed looked cheap. for the bridesmaids i had asked for the bouquets to be wrapped with red silk ribbon and have it hanging down a few feet because my girls were in long black dresses so i wanted the contrast. The flowers arrived and they had a thin sheer ribbon with only a few inches draping. When i placed the order i specified all these things AGAIN and still showed up wrong. I wouldn't recommend going here even if the price is right.

Horrible bouquets, centerpieces and the service were really poor and Bryant is really rude and disrespectful, so regret to work with Morningside flowers if you really want a nice wedding don't use this people, once they take your money they do what they want.

What can I say they were a total disaster. Worst vendor by far and frankly a WASTE OF MONEY. Where do I start?

My bouquet was brown by the time I walked down the aislse. It did not have the right flowers in it. My bridal party's bouquets did not have the right colors in it. I was missing corsages, boutinerres, ugh!

My ceremony flowers was nothing that i Ordered. I had orded two colums to go in the front to make the arch or whatever...never put it up. The aisle was lined with the wrong flowers.

The only thing that was hoestly nice was my centerpieces. They came out the right way.

Everything else DISASTER!.

Then I called them after the wedding to discuss everything that was missing and requested a refund for the stuff that was missing and they only gave me back $150 bucks.

Keep looking there are better florist out there.
