As a wedding photographer, I taste a lot of wedding cake, pretty much every weekend and I can honestly say that Morgan Hunter Desserts made the best cake I’ve ever had.
It was so incredible I may or may not have snuck an extra slice to take home. The frosting was perfectly smooth, the cake itself was unbelievably soft, and what really stood out to me was that it wasn’t overly sweet. You could actually enjoy the entire piece without it feeling heavy or overwhelming.
Beyond the taste, the cake was absolutely stunning. It was one of those designs that truly elevates the entire wedding aesthetic.
Morgan Hunter Desserts is already on my recommended vendor list, and after this past weekend, I’m even more excited to refer her. I genuinely cannot wait for another one of my clients to book her both for their experience and, selfishly, for another slice.

I cannot recommend Morgan Hunter and Michelle enough! They created the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I could have ever imagined. I shared a few inspiration images and asked them to combine certain styles, and they absolutely nailed it. The cake was exactly what I envisioned—elegant, perfectly executed, and truly a centerpiece at our reception.
Not only was it stunning to look at, but it was also incredibly delicious. Michelle was wonderful to work with, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. They even made a couple of gluten-free and vegan desserts, which were a huge hit with our guests! Their talent and attention to detail are unmatched, and I’m so grateful for their work—it was everything I hoped for and more! -

Morgan Hunter cakes had by far our favorite gluten free cake that we tried! The buttercream was delicious and we decided to go with the cinnamon roll cake. Everyone says you barely eat on your wedding day but we made sure to have time for the delicious cake she brought.
It was hard to believe it was gluten free! And we went with a simple request for the design and Morgan Hunter made it look so elegant and pristine. Highly recommended, especially if you have celiac, there are no better options!! -

Beautiful and delicious cake
Morgan is such a sweetheart and her entire team is amazing! They are super responsive and professional. Morgan literally brought my cake vision to life and I’m so grateful I hired her. She exceeded every single one of my expectations.
She was happy to accommodate every time I changed my mind and decided to add/change something. She did both my wedding cake and favors, which were Mickey’s Rice Krispies treats. I even ordered my cake topper through her. She was also always willing to offer advice and recommendations. Her calming demeanor really was an asset to me throughout the wedding planning process.
Every single interaction with her a pleasant one. She’s a hard worker and really cares about her clients. If you’re considering hiring Morgan, RUN TO HER. You'll be so happy you did!!
I can’t wait to eat the top of my cake on my 1 year anniversary and hopefully hire her again one day! -

Morgan and her team did an amazing job on our cake and desserts!! We chose a white velvet flavored cake (we had never heard of the flavor but highly recommend), macarons and chocolate chip cookies. Above being absolutely gorgeous, the taste was INCREDIBLE. When we first had our consult with Morgan that was one thing she said that they have very high standards with, and they did not disappoint. We had guests texting us days after saying how delicious everything was. Thank you for everything! -

We started cake tasting in 2019 to narrow down our options and Morgan was the first person we tried. After her, we didn’t try anyone else and planned our wedding cake and cupcakes with her for 2021. We did another tasting in 2021 to narrow down our flavors and chose a lemon raspberry cake with lemon curd and buttercream icing, it was absolutely AMAZING. I’m wanting the cake all over again. We had our own person 6” cake and then cupcakes for guest (white believer, strawberry with real strawberries, and coconut). Everyone was in love with them. -

We are so glad we had Morgan Hunter Desserts create our wedding cake!! When our original cake service fell through, our venue and planner recommended Morgan Hunter. The planning process was straightforward and easy. We wish we had the opportunity to try more flavors in the tasting sampler box, but the samples were perfect enough for us to trust that all of Morgan Hunter's creations would be amazing and memorable. The chai spice cake was to-die for, and we loved that both of our flavors (chocolate w/ espresso salted caramel ganache, and chai spice w/ dulce de leche) were balanced, not-too-sweet, and simply perfect. We asked for a simple cake design with "tall and narrow" proportions, and that is exactly what we got. I hope to have Morgan Hunter Desserts at future celebrations! -

My husband and I were looking forward to the cake tasting part of our wedding planning - We stopped immediately with Morgan Hunter Desserts and looked no further. I never thought I would ever wish that I could have my cake taste like every single flavor that we tried. To make it even better, My inspiration photos that I provided were turned into reality. We had such a beautiful wedding cake AND it tasted great! Moist, Light, Fluffy, Flavorful, and AMAZING.
We also had a bit of Gluten Free / Vegan Doughnuts due to a couple of guests who had dietary restrictions. Wow. Gluten free is hard to make taste good, but these were amazing. We were happy to have a few left over as they made a great late night snack :-p
100% Recommend! (In fact, I would love another excuse to get another cake from them!) -

It was such an easy and pleasant experience working with Morgan Hunter Desserts - from the taste testing to the design call to the payments to the delivery, Morgan and her team made everything literally so easy.
With our larger Guest count, we chose to do cupcakes to keep things simple. When our final Guest count was lower than expected, we were able to change our quantities with no problem. The flexibility was greatly appreciated! Our Guests did not stop raving about how delicious the cupcakes were though, so I can guarantee that any extras we might have had would not have gone to waste.
If you’re looking for beautiful AND tasty creations, look no further. You will not regret going with Morgan Hunter Desserts! -

Morgan is such a pleasure to work with. Being non-cake lovers we had a very specific vision for our wedding day cake and desserts. Not only is she so sweet, but her creations are truly exquisite. Completely in awe of her creations and how GOOD everything tasted! We booked her for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day and we are SO happy we did! She gave us the opportunity to taste test at the very beginning of our inquire and let me say if I could’ve had every flavor I would have! She was there for us as a couple when we had to postpone our first wedding date due to COVID and was super understanding. She baked the most amazing mini desserts including cake pops, mini cupcakes, mini donuts for our rehearsal dinner and the most delicious and beautiful cake for our wedding day. We would recommend her to ANYONE who needs any dessert in their life for whatever reason. Her kindness and genuine love for her craft radiates through her work, you won’t regret hiring her! -

I am so thankful we chose Morgan Hunter Desserts for our wedding cake and cookies! I was referred by a friend and our venue, and I am so glad I was. Morgan is so incredibly kind and flexible. She was so understanding of our budget and worked to get exactly what we wanted in the best way possible. Elizabeth was also so wonderful with communication and any requests that popped up. Not only is her work GORGEOUS, but it tastes absolutely delicious! Morgan and her husband are an incredible team and it meant so much to get to see them before the wedding. They truly care for their couples. My cake was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined and we got so many compliments on how everything tasted! I still look at the photos in awe because I can't believe what an incredible job they did. I can't wait to work with them again in the future!

Incredible and beautiful
We have ordered cookies numerous times from Morgan Hunter now and we are always blown away by her talent. The cookies are always too beautiful to eat but so so delicious. (They freeze well too so you can keep eating cookies for months to come). Morgan provided the cookies and cake for our wedding day and they were are so beautiful. Our guests were RAVING over the coconut vanilla cake (you have to try it!). She even made a batch of delicious gluten free cupcakes for some guests that are not able to have gluten. Quit looking, she is literally THE best! -

Beautiful and delicious!
There aren't enough words to describe how delicious and beautiful our dessert table was! Morgan and her team did a phenomenal job with our wedding cake and cookies. She did exactly what we showed her with some of her creativity and the outcome could not have been better. We had a 3 tier cake, her chocolate chip and macadamia nut cookies, and some custom story cookies that showed our journey as a couple. Everything came out perfect and we got so many compliments on how it looked and how amazing it tasted. She was also really sweet and she and Elizabeth were very responsive. They also catered to our budget and gave us a lot of options. If you're considering Morgan Hunter Desserts, go ahead and book! They will not disappoint! -

Morgan was great every step of the way with our tasting and consultation. We began looking for bakers right before the pandemic and found Morgan right as things blew up. She was awesome and allowed us to have a virtual cake tasting. The flavors were all delicious and they have a killer buttercream. She was really able to take both of mine and my fiancé’s visions as to what we wanted and combine it into something that sounds amazing. I can’t wait to eat my wedding cake!

Morgan made a beautiful and delicious cake for our wedding! It was simple and classic, exactly what we were looking for. I was struggling to find a bakery that could do a larger gluten free cake, and Morgan had this option available with no problem at all. Best gluten free cake I have ever had!

Morgan and Gene truly outdid themselves for our wedding. Our cake and donuts not only looked stunning, but tasted AMAZING as well. Even our photographer was enamored with our sweets.
The value you’ll receive with Morgan Hunter desserts is truly incredible. The care, creativity, and attention to detail they put into their work is evidence that they truly love what they do. We felt that love and commitment though everything they executed on our wedding day.

Morgan was a joy to work with. She was so helpful in helping us narrow down what style of cake we wanted and had the flavor options we wanted. Her pricing was excellent, and she had a lot of different suggestions for decor. Our cake turned out beautiful, and she was even able to make some last minute design adjustments for me the week of. The only thing I regret is not ordering more cake... we opted not to save a tier and everyone ate every last piece. I'll be coming back to order more from her in the future! -

We can't thank Morgan enough for making the most incredibly delicious cookie for our wedding as our guest party favors. My husband and I wanted something to add as a finishing touch to our tablescape and Morgan's cookies were the perfect fit. She made a custom watercolor design for our wedding and packaged them up in a little clear box with white shredded corrugated paper to keep the cookie in place and then put an elastic bow to complete the favor. It was perfect! Morgan went above and beyond my expectations and I'm so happy with the final product. I'll definitely have her make more cookies for me! -

Daughters Wedding
My first word would be AMAZING! I contracted Morgan first for my daughters Bridal Shower cookies. They were so gorgeous and delicious I went back for more for the wedding. Morgan made cupcakes cookies and these lovely light meringue treats. All I had to do was give her an idea and she did the rest. She delivered and set up the table as well. Everything was so delicious. My guest are still complimenting. I can’t wait till I plan another event just to see what else she can come up with. I highly recommend her!!!! -

Help make a perfect day extra special!
We contacted Morgan 2 weeks before our wedding. We are from the UK and travelled to Orlando for the big day. She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and we couldn’t of hoped for me. Morgan was so attentive and gave us the perfect cake in every way. It looked amazing, and tasted fantastic. Although the exterior of the cake was delicate and beautiful, we wanted the inside to be a surprise and the colours of our football team. It was no trouble and looked great. A Steel Magnolia’s Dream!
Morgan made the most beautiful and yummy ‘blush and bashful’ red velvet cake with custom cake topper and gorgeous flowers for a bridal shower that friends and I threw for a dear friend’s daughter. Absolutely stunning and delicious magnolia cookies complimented this extra tall cake. Morgan was wonderful to work with and creatively offered up ideas and options for us. I can’t say enough about Morgan and her AMAZING cakes! My husband and I live in Boston and were originally planning on having Publix do our cake for our wedding as it was 1. Cheap and 2. Easier to work around schedules when we were in town. I went to the Publix tasting and immediately realized it was not worth saving the extra $100. I spent hours researching bakers in the Orlando area and came across Morgan’s beautiful, elegant, and timeless cakes & cookies. She seemed relatively new to the business but extremely talented and a great value. I emailed her and she responded SO quickly - over the next 6 months discussing cakes it felt like I was talking to a friend. My husband’s mom and sister ended up going to our tasting for us, which Morgan brought amazing little cupcakes for them to sample of each flavor we were interested in! My mother-in-law froze them and we got to try them a couple months later - still amazing :). We decided to go with 3 cakes - carrot, white velvet, and chocolate. Morgan brought cake stands and other accessories to make our cake table look OUTSTANDING. My guests seriously could not stop talking about how delicious her cakes were, they still talk about it a month later. I’m not even a fan of vanilla cake, but her white velvet is out of this world. We had some leftover cake from the wedding that my fiancé and I could not stop eating it was so good. The carrot is seriously the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. I remember seeing Morgan and her husband right before our sparkler exit and I wish I had the chance to run over to hug her and say ‘thank you’ for everything she had done for us! I can’t imagine picking anyone else. You will not regret picking this sweet, wonderful, and talented woman for your wedding or event!! -

The cake was delicious. It looked good but not exactly what I had in mind. Might be an issue of communication from my part!
If there were some interactions during the process to confirm (a sketch or an example of the sugar flowers), I think we could have adjusted. For example, it was really nice to have our pattern printed on it but would have loved to confirm size and direction of flowers. -
