Joe and his team made our wedding day run absolutely perfectly! After several emails back and forth and a few meetings, Morgan Hill Sound was 100% worth every penny we spent.
The ceremony music was perfectly timed, and I truly couldn’t have been happier with how everything came together. Once the reception started, the dance floor stayed completely packed from beginning to end — I still have guests asking who our DJ was!
Joe was incredibly easy to communicate with, reliable, organized, and made the entire process stress-free. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience.

Leveled up our wedding!
We were in contact with a few different vendors trying to get the right set up for our disco wedding. I found Morgan Hill Sound & Productions and from the moment I reached out they were on board, excited to be a part of the process & reassured us they were able to do exactly what we needed.
They were very kind and knowledgable throughout the whole process. As soon as I saw those disco balls hanging for our wedding I knew it was going to be a complete highlight to the night. A perfect cherry on top if you will.
Everyone was complimenting the disco ball set up and I myself could not have been happier. I dont have any photos of the disco balls all lit up because I was to in the moment but it sparkled and shined all night!

Joe and his team did an incredible mirror/disco ball installation for our wedding this past October at Keepsake in Poughkeepsie. Their prices were some of the best around compared to competitors!! I also asked him if he could hang up these paper flowers I made and he worked them into the mirror ball installation PERFECTLY!!! It looked SO good. He hung the disco balls purposefully low above where the ‘dance floor’ was - so even though we didn’t pay for an additional dance floor to be put down, it really framed the space and made it super clear that it was the dance floor!!! It looked so freaking amazing.
They also brought and installed two arcade games that were a huuuuge hit with the guests - even my dad who kinda scoffed at the idea of there being games at the wedding, said that he saw a lot of people really enjoying them and changed his mind and said ‘the games were a great idea’ he had a giant selection of games but we picked just two for space reasons: Ms. Pac-Man and the Turtles in Time TMNT game!!
Joe also is super responsive to every email I sent. And I ask a LOT of questions. He was always super nice and helped explain things really well for me to understand - and even gave advice for other vendors, etc.

I cannot recommend Joe enough for your wedding! From the very beginning, he was a dream to work with—organized, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. His paperwork was simple and straightforward, which made the planning process stress-free. Anytime I had a question or needed guidance, he was quick to respond and always helpful.
On the big day, Joe absolutely exceeded our expectations. He kept the energy high and the dance floor packed from start to finish—our guests are still talking about how much fun they had! He read the crowd perfectly, mixing in all of our must-plays while keeping the flow of the night seamless. Whether it was introductions, transitions, or keeping everyone dancing, he nailed every moment.

Dazzling Night at Audrey's Farmhouse
I reached out to Joe at Morgan HIll Sound about 2 months before my wedding. I knew I wanted to have disco balls for our dancefloor, but the pricing I had seen from other vendors was out of budget.
Our venue posted photos from another wedding that used MHS and in a last ditch effort, I reached out to see if they were available and their pricing. Joe came back with an affordable quote and with a game plan since they were not available to install the day of the wedding. Joe and his team came on the day before/after the wedding to strike and install (I was lucky our venue was flexible in letting them come install early).
His team was professional and always responsive. I don't think the dance floor would have had the same energy without their installation of the disco balls. It was a beautiful, magical night! I would recommend Morgan Hill Sound if you are looking for a professional production team to elevate any of your events!

We are so glad we chose DJ Joe with Morgan Hill Sound to be our wedding entertainment! He was professional, personable, and fun! DJ Joe kept the good vibes flowing all night!!! I was so worried my dance floor would be empty because a lot of my family and friends aren't really the dancing type. But it was PACKED all night! I can attest that to the amazing DJ Joe and his ability to read the crowd and play a great mix of different music for all ages!
He worked with my venue and other vendors to execute everything I wanted! During our final meeting, I had mentioned that I wanted to do a photo rush game, if we had time by the end of the night before my photographers left. Since, it was raining, I was unable to go outside during golden hour and take portraits, DJ Joe worked with my photographer on the fly and recommended we do the photo rush during the "golden hour photo" part of my timeline to ensure we got the game done! Since I was so busy, it didn't even cross my mind. I am so glad I had DJ Joe work with my other vendors behind the scenes to be able to do these things that I had forgotten about during the craze of it all. I am so excited to include those photos with my thank you cards to all of my guests.
When you hire a DJ most of the time you are just thinking about the entertainment portion of the night! However, your DJ needs to be able to work with your venue and other vendors all night long. DJ Joe was able to perfectly execute our wedding from the behind the scenes work and to the entertainment! It was all around perfect! We highly recommend DJ Joe!

I can't say enough about our amazing wedding DJ, Joe!
From the moment we contacted him, he was incredibly professional and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions directly and in a timely manner. He truly went above and beyond to make our special day even more memorable. His music had everyone dancing all night, and the atmosphere he created was unmatched. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to celebrate our wedding. We also upgraded and got the photo booth to use as our guest book. It was well worth it. He had an assistant manage this. Joe brought props and ensured I had the background I wanted on the photo prints. If there was a large group of people he made sure that they all got a copy of the photo and a copy went into our guest book. I can not say enough positive things about Morgan Hill Sound & Production. We had the most amazing wedding night all because of Joe and his team at Morgan Hill Sound!
Joe was very communicative and helped me prepare for the big day. He DJ'd both our ceremony and reception. For our ceremony, he worked with me to edit a song to my liking for our recessional!
For our reception, EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night! Joe kept the dance floor packed and lively with great music and excitement for the guests.
I also got a package from Morgan Hill Sound that included uplighting, dance floor lighting, photobooth and a few other lighting add ons. The company is very professional, communicates so well, and does a fantastic job. I had guests coming up to me all night and the next day telling me how awesome the DJ was!
I highly recommend Morgan Hill Sound for your next event! My day was stress free knowing that the reception was going to go smoothly and I was in good hands!

Working with DJ Joe Carney of Morgan Hill Sound helped make the day/night go through without a hitch, and had the entire party dancing from start to finish.
Joe took our Spotify playlist and mixed it the entire night. Played all of our requests, and kept the night moving. He listened to our setup instructions and wasn't over-bearing on the mic - pumping the crowd up when needed.
Everyone was upset when the party was over - that is the testament of a good DJ! lol

Joe was the glue that kept our wedding all together and running smoothly throughout our entire day! He listened to my every request, and even things I was adamant about not wanting. Very easy to communicate with during the planning process. Hearing the feedback from our guests like "That DJ was Amazing" and "Your DJ crushed it" was great! They say there are 2 things your guests remember the most..... the food and the music! Joe made our wedding the most memorable and we are ever so grateful for him. I cannot thank Joe enough for everything he did. I live in Georgia but we are from Kingston and had our wedding in Poughkeepsie. All of our interactions had be via phone and email, and I honestly started working with him late in the planning stages.
Joe did am amazing job in assuring me that everything would be handled and the time frame was no issue at all.
Joe went above and beyond and accommodated my crazy requests at the same time reassuring me that they weren't that crazy.
At the end of our reception when I was making out the check for the remainder of the bill I, have had some drinks, made a couple errors and he was so patient and I cannot thank him enough.
If you do not hire Joe for your event, you are truly missing out on an amazing experience.

I cannot thank Morgan Hill sound and productions enough! Joe went above and beyond anything we could've imagined. The communication from day 1 and details up until the day before and making sure everything went perfect really eased alot of stress off me. There understanding with the amount of questions I asked really is a rarity!! The energy, sound quality ,lighting and professionalism made the night!!! and my personal favorite the photo booth . Joe was amazing-especially given this was a postponed wedding due to covid. He was understanding and flexible through the entire process. He also promptly replied to every text and email which means a lot when you are trying to get answers. Our venue was lit up perfectly with his lighting, and there was music for everyone to enjoy! He also found marquee LOVE letters that I wanted within the last month leading up to the wedding and had a photo booth that my guests (and we) loved! It was the perfect night, and Morgan Hill Sound was a huge part of that!

Such a fun wedding!
All of our guests are still raving about how much fun our wedding was and we certainly think Joe was an integral part in that experience. Joe was quick to respond all through planning, listened to our style requests, offered suggestions, and was patient and flexible with our last minute decisions. Our ceremony started with classical, we had cocktails with Frank Sinatra, first danced to Nat King Cole, then partied with Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and Nelly. Joe completely understood our "music through the decades" concept and perfectly executed each transition. Such an incredible night!

Why book anyone else?
Of all my vendors, Joe Carney with Morgan Hill Sound and Productions was by far the best. Why? Because unlike my other vendors, he put in the prep work to make sure the wedding went smoothly. Morgan Hill sounds and productions has a pre-wedding checklist/form which they prompt you to fill out in advance and then schedule a phone meeting to go over. The form even includes pronunciations of names in the wedding party. How great! You don’t have to track them down and spend your precious wedding planning time making an info sheet for Joe. He has it all done for you and you just follow his template. Ok the music: Morgan Hill knows that a wedding is a mixed crowd and makes sure that all the right notes are hit from what’s on the radio now to throwback slow songs. With this DJ everyone will be dancing. Still have doubts? I have used Morgan Hill sound and Productions since my sweet sixteen (which I hate to admit was 12 years ago already) for every family function and EVERY single time Joe and Morgan Hill is FANTASTIC. You will never be disappointed.

Joe was ready to set up at the top to provide music for the ceremony. Unfortunately, due to weather, our ceremony site was changed the day before. He made things easy and less stressful. Anytime I had a question or needed information he answered me back quickly which was a huge plus for a stressing bride. Flexibility was the key. Came the day before to set up lights with no extra charge. Was friendly and always professional. We had a groomsman set up to do the music for the cocktail hour, when he got a little behind on setting up Joe stepped up and just starting playing music for us 2 hours before he had to. It was like having a friend there doing all they could to make your day a success. Would recommend him to anyone. I would not change a single thing about what they did for us in making our day special.

I had worked with Joe a few times before I asked him to DJ and MC my wedding and I would hire him one million times over if I ever planned on getting married again! i could not have been more pleased with my experience. Joe's level of professionalism and responsiveness as a businessman is extraordinary, however, as a wedding DJ and MC, he went above an beyond to do literally (not figurative speech, I actually mean 'literally' here) anything and everything in his power to make sure the entire day ran as smoothly and organically as possible. Joe was unassuming, but very present throughout the whole process, clear, and very easy to work with (coming from a stressed out bride). Barely two weeks before the big day, I mentioned in passing that I was worried my older relatives would have trouble hearing our vows. The day of, quite like a very approachable Batman, Joe had rigged audio for our golf course ceremony and knowing that my whole extended crew of 175+ were all fully able to be there in that moment with my now husband and I was worth every penny I paid PLUS some. Fair prices, excellent service... This is definitely your guy.

This review is RIDICULOUSLY over due! Our wedding was 2 months ago and our friends and family are still talking about what an amazing night it was! I cannot find enough positive words to say about Morgan Hill Sound & Productions.
We were in a jam when the DJ we had originally booked (a co-worker of my husbands who DJ's on the side) bailed on us 1 month before the wedding! It truly was fate that Joe happened to have one weekend left available and it was the weekend of our wedding. When we reached out to MHS, Joe called us within hours and put our minds at ease! He listened to what we were hoping for, offered suggestions, worked around our availability, helped us navigate a potentially awkward "mother/son dance" situation, and ALWAYS got back to us quickly when we had questions.
The night of the wedding was amazing! The music was perfect all night long - cocktail hour, entrance, dinner, dancing..... a perfect playlist for every minute! Joe was a great MC and kept the evening moving along, and easily adjusting when the unexpected happened (ring bearer in the potty when it was time for her daddy/daughter dance).
If you are looking at hiring Morgan Hill Sound for any of your events - don't hesitate!

Morgan hill sound and production are amazing. They are very flexible, friendly, and professional oh and extremely fun. Definitely work with Joe! Joe was incredibly kind and helpful as we navigated our wedding planning process. He had fantastic ideas when we weren't sure what to do and kept our family and friends dancing the entire time! He also made the entire party fun and easy for us and let us do our thing while also making sure we did everything we needed to do.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had with a DJ. Joe and Belinda were warm,welcoming, full of energy, extremely feloxble and beyond courteous. The way you moved that crowd was impressive. My son and his new wife were so happy and had an absolutely fantastic time!!! If I could rate you above all else as the TOP I would! I will definitely keep you in my wallet and out to everyone I know with an event. Morgan Hill Sound and production is hands down the only one to go to!!!!

Joe and his wife are absolutely fantastic! They worked with us every step of the way, even when I forgot to update him on the order of the bridemaids/groomsmen. All of our guests were dancing the entire night and kept saying what a blast they were having. This DJ rocks!

My guest keep telling my husband and I about how much they loved my DJ. They said it was the best wedding because everyone kept dancing the entire night . Joe made my entire experience stress free from the beginning . Always returned calls and emails, had great suggestions, prompt, professional, and flexible . I can't wait until I have Joe at my next event.

Everyone at the party enjoyed there music young and old alike they set up a nice light show people danced and everyone enjoyed couldn't have asked for a better DJ my guests couldn't say enough about them and most importantly the kids we're happy

Morgan Hill was fabulous! The music never stopped and the kids had a great time. According to my daughter, they were the best DJ's yet at a Sweet 16 - and she's not just being biased! Hire Morgan Hill - you will not be disappointed!

This was a High School May Day Dance that Joe Carney provided DJ entertainment for. The kids loved him and the music that he played!! The kids said that they want Morgan Hill Sound and Joe Carney to do all their dances!!

This is bar none the best DJ compmay in New York State! From planning to execution is was the most pleasant experience. From the club style DJing to the great engaging MC everyone had a blast...we even paid for two hours of overtime because we didn't want it to end. Besides the music the lights were incredible as well, very professional while making sure all our guest were having the time of their lives. If I ever need a DJ again there is no question where I'm going!!!!!!!

DJ Pure was not my originally DJ I originally had DJ DRock and he failed to show up. I had called DJ Pure and he showed up promptly and set u within 10 minutes. He was very professional and made my day amazing i would recommend him to any one in need of a DJ he is utterly amazing. He works with your budget to make sure you get exactly what you want for a price that is reasonable.

Joe did an awesome job getting my wedding guests up and moving! From the time my cocktail hour/reception started, my guests were filling the dance floor with their moves! The owner of my venue could not believe how full the dance floor was, well into the night! He was extremely flexible and knew exactly what mix of songs would keep my guests happy! I came to later find out that he Dj'd my wedding on HIS anniversary! If that doesn't show dedication to his work than I don't know what does? We highly recommend him to anyone!

Joe and his wife are amazing! Joe worked with us every step of the way to fill out his detailed wedding planner (which really helped organize things and even reminded me of a few things I forgot). He answered any questions we had and was very flexible when I had to make a few last minute changes to our entrance. Day of, he was very professional, sounded great and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. My favorite part was how organized everything was. He and his wife lined us all up for our entrance and that was seemless, I've seen some entrances tank with other dj's! He really set the tone for the night and helped make our wedding perfect!
