Mark is great!

Mark was a pleasure to work with for our wedding! He was very easy to coordinate with and very quick responding. He has a lot of fun and positive energy and it showed in our ceremony. We had several people come up to us and say how engaging the ceremony was. We’re very happy we had Mark officiate our wedding!

WOW! Is all I can start by saying. We were SOOOOO incredibly pleased, surprised, excited and blessed to have used Mark for our wedding day! From our detailed meetings, to his timeliness, professionalism, incredible talent and ability to make a wedding ceremony personalized and fun- Mark is a true GEM. We honestly just love him...We wanted our ceremony to be fun and different from the normal blah blah blah ceremony....it SURE was! We got and keep getting compliments on how beautiful our ceremony and how great Mark was. Thank you for making our day one to remember forever, for taking the time to learn who WE ARE as a couple, and for helping to make our dreams come true. Rev. Mark was an amazing officiant. I could not have been happier. He brought such humor and creativity to our ceremony. We were only able to speak on Skype a few times prior to the wedding because we were planning from far away, but he was able to take so many personal details and incorporate them into the ceremony. We chose our own readings and added in a sand ceremony. Rev. Mark connected everything together seamlessly, and even helped us with our vows. I've never heard another officiant give such a personal and unique ceremony. We are eternally grateful.

Mark is probably the nicest person I have ever met. He always smiles when he talks to you and our first meeting lasted over an hour and he also did follow up meetings that were almost an hour. He is very detailed and wants to make sure everything runs smoothly during the ceremony. Before the ceremony, everytime I needed him, he somehow appeared through the door of the bridal suite like he knew I was thinking about him. He is just amazing. Great guy. I would recommend him to any couple!

If you are searching for an officiant who will tailor your wedding ceremony to exactly what defines you and your fiancé, Rev. Mark Larose is your dream come true. We were both raised Catholic, but neither of us wanted a church wedding. Meeting with Rev. Mark was a breath of fresh air. He created a custom ceremony for us that was unique and still incorporated a few of the Catholic traditions, to keep our families happy! There are so many reasons I am thankful we found Rev. Mark, but the single most important reason is our vows. During our first meeting I said "I do not want to write my own vows," and he challenged me on that and then helped guide me during the writing process. Even though I sobbed through my vows during the ceremony, it was beyond special to have my own words to say to my husband and to hear his own words back. That is something we will both treasure forever!!!

You will have no regrets if you choose Reverend Mark Larose to marry you. Luckily we had a recommendation from a friend because like so many brides out there, we had no idea where to start. Reverend Mark met with us, truly listened to us, wanted to know and learn about us as individuals and as a couple, and genuinely took it all into consideration while planning our ceremony. Communication was great as we emailed back and forth- choices, vows, and suggestions. The ceremony was perfect. It was fun, light-hearted, yet serious when it needed to be. It was exactly as we imagined, and even a month later, we still have people commenting how wonderful and unique our ceremony was. Every time I watch the video or think about our ceremony, I realize we were SO fortunate to have had Reverend Mark marry us. Thank you for everything!

After interviewing a few officiants we decided that Mark was our guy. During our first meeting Mark had asked us a lot of questions he was so interested in "our story". He kept in touch with us and the week of our wedding called us and did a walk through over the phone of our ceremony. I knew it was going to be good because he was very well organized and incorporated everything that we wanted. We had so many of our guests give us great feedback about the ceremony. They said that he kept it interesting and had their attention throughout the ceremony. He got to our venue an hour early and scheduled meetings with our Matire'D, band, photographer, and videographer all to ensure a smooth ceremony. I would definitely recommend him to any of my friends and family looking to go the non-traditional route of getting married somewhere other then a church etc.

My fiance (now husband!) is jewish and I am catholic and we were looking for someone who could work with us to create a ceremony that celebrates and respects aspects of both religions and traditions to make both families feel included and happy. Lucky for us, we met Mark Larose!

From the moment we met Mark he made us feel comfortable and that he was interested in learning about us as a couple and as individuals. He had many ideas on how to incorporate both traditions and was always readily available by phone and email. He would touch base with us, make sure we were comfortable with the layout of the ceremony, and even called me the morning of our ceremony to check in and make sure I was doing okay which was extremely sweet and thoughtful. Right before the ceremony, he took charge and coordinated with the matre de at the reception hall, the photographers and the musician and the ceremony went off without a hitch! It was a beautiful ceremony that really represented who we are as a couple and our family members are still commenting on how wonderful the ceremony was especially at incorporating both religions.

We were married on July 27, 2013 at Natirar and Rev. Mark made the day, the ceremony and our life long memories absolutely wonderful!
He met with us beforehand and from our conversations, understood our feelings for each other and who we are. With that knowledge, he crafted a repertoire that played out perfectly- a well managed theater production! We even imposed on him to lead the guests in singing "The Wedding Song" as a toast to our vows. Rev. Mark is a professional and will deliver a program where the couple, and their love, is at the "center". We highly recommend him!

Mark is simply the best in the business. After our first meeting with Mark we just knew we had found the right person to marry us. It's hard to explain but we truly connected and he understood us as a couple. So much so that it was like we has known eachother for years!! He is professional, qualified, dedicated, responsive.... I could go on forever! The worse part about planning a wedding is the worrying that comes along with booking vendors and wondering if they will deliver what they had promised. From the beginning I never had any doubts about Mark! He not only delivered but exceeded our expectations 10 fold!!!

My parents were worried when we told them we were not having a traditional church wedding because everyone in my family had a church wedding and because of the non church weddings we'd been to in the past that were quick and impersonal. Just "I do's" then it's over. Our ceremony lasted over 30 minutes and included every element we wanted. The ceremony was the highlight of our wedding and I will forever be grateful to Mark for all he had done. I come from a Catholic background and my husband Jewish so we combined a few elements of both into the ceremony - sign of the peace, breaking of the glass, etc. We also read personal vows which I strongly recommend. It personalizes the ceremony rather than the usual cookie cutter. We also did the wine box where we had wrote letters to each other and locked them away with a bottle of wine and will open on our 5th anniversary. Lastly, one of my favorite parts was the blessing of the hands including participation from our parents. We had not told them about it previously so their surprise during was amazing to see.

What can we say other than WE LOVE MARK! From this first time we spoke with him on the phone, we knew he was the perfect officiant for our wedding. He was warm, caring, and very funny too. We could tell he cared about us and making our day special.

We met with Mark for the first time over hot chocolate in a little café. It really felt like he was genuinely trying to get to know us. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, I felt comfortable being able to go to Mark with any questions I had, even if they weren’t related to the ceremony.

During my wedding reception and even to this day, what people remember most, and talk about most, is how wonderful he made our ceremony. He could not have made it more perfect and we were so lucky to have found him. Thank you Mark!

We can’t say enough about Rev. Mark Larose. He was patient throughout the planning process and helped us with writing our own vows. Up to our wedding day and the day of, he was supportive and comforting to both of us. He provided us with the ceremony we had always envisioned and our friends and family couldn’t stop raving about Mark and how personal our ceremony was. We couldn’t imagine anyone else being the person who married us because he made sure we never forgot that it was about our love for each other and that we should be having fun. Thank you, Mark!

Words can not describe our Officiant, Reverend Mark Larose. My husband and I have been married for 2 months and people are still talking about our ceremony and how "Us" it was. I cannot say enough about him. His hard work and effort proves that he was a great choice for us. From the moment we met him, he was making us laugh, cry, everything. What a series of emotions in such a short amount of time. The ONE and ONLY thing i wish Reverend Mark could do for us was to stay and enjoy our celebration but it is completely understandable that he was super busy and had to go. He is an amazing person and a very positive influence! He helped me organize my vows and make it easier for me to read them to my husband. I can't thank him enough!

It's easy to give the reverend mark Larose this rating considering all the time and effort he put into making our wedding special. From the start of the process where mark had us relive special memories with each other and then until the end of the ceremony mark was a creative, flexible and passionate contributor to our wedding experience. Have a clear idea? Tell mark and he will implement it, plus build upon it. Not sure what you want? Mark will draw on his abilities and experiences to help you figure it out. Mark was very responsive to us the entire time always communicating and making sure he helped us prepare for the wedding. I recall a special unity ceremony my wife and I wanted to do but were not sure how to implement. Mark helped us draft, modify and implement the ceremony, coordinating with the hotel on details the day of the ceremony. He truly made it possible for us to focus more on the experience of the day instead of logistical details.

Mark was fantastic! Our ceremony was personal, unique and so "us" that many guests commented they thought he was one of our lifelong friends. We absolutely loved the ceremony and working with him was a breeze - super responsive and professional. We live 3,000 miles from the wedding location and from Mark so his attentiveness was much appreciated. Would absolutely recommend him to anyone wanting to love their ceremony!

Where do I begin?! Mark was fabulous from the minute we first met him. He is so personable and has the ability to make you feel so comfortable with him. Mark did a fabulous job of getting to know us and listening to our wants and needs. He incorporated everything that we wanted and our families and friends continue to tell us how blown away they were by how personalized our ceremony was. Not only was Mark wonderful on our wedding day, but he touched base with us for months leading up to the wedding. I thought it was very thoughtful that he called me on the morning of our wedding just to make sure I was feeling calm and to see if I needed anything. If you are looking for a unique and heartfelt ceremony with an officiant who truly listens, my husband and I cannot praise Mark enough. Thank you so much for making our wedding day extra special!!

It’s easy to get wrapped up in planning the party aspect of your wedding, and it was important to us that people felt they came to witness a meaningful, special ceremony. From day one Mark put our minds at ease. He was genuinely interested in getting to know us as a couple, and it showed in the ceremony! Mark was always responsive, spent a great deal of time writing and perfecting our ceremony, and called the morning of to check in. It was such a beautiful day, and I know people felt they had been invited to witness and very personal moment for us. He asked us good questions at the initial meeting and touched base with us through the planning process. He put together a ceremony that was funny, full of love and so 'us'. Our ceremony was beautiful. It was perfect and exactly what we had hoped for. Mark's personality and words were perfect and fit us well. His interview questions were personal and utilized well in the ceremony. He is open and honest and willing to share his life stories and words of wisdom. He created a peaceful, respectful and kind atmosphere and seemed to truly understand our relationship. His message was perfect for us. He even told a few jokes when the time served. Mark loves life and seems to love his career. Prior to the start of the wedding, I was stressed because of the lack of professionalism and organization of the caterers (Frungillo) and he was able to make me and my girls laugh. This was much appreciated. Overall, Mark is a wonderful man with a true gift.

Rev. Mark was a huge part in making our day so special and worry free. His availability during the weeks leading up to the wedding was constant, and he responded immediately to any phone calls / emails. He made our ceremony so personal and unique, and assisted greatly in our own writing of our vows.

I will highly recommend him to anyone getting married!!

Like you'll see in a lot of reviews, I don't give 5/5 if they did what they needed to without complaints. Rev. Mark LaRose, did what he was needed to do and then more. He was inspiring, comforting, and just amazing. He was worth every penny, he was worth more than I paid for a lot of the other services I received from other places. He made my wedding what it was. He really set the tone and made the night that much better. He really knows what he's doing. I was more than happy with choosing him. I've already told all my friends that this is the Officiant they need, not want, but need.

Rev. Mark is an amazing person and he will make your wedding day the best it will ever be. He helps with every detail of the ceremony and gives you all the tools to personalize it as much as you want. For me, being a very anxiety ridden person, I was very nervous about the ceremony, and Rev. Mark took all of that away by giving me amazing options. I truly can not imagine another person having marry us, because Rev. Mark made everything so easy and love filled. Our day was more than perfect!

Rev. Mark was perfect for us! We were very nervous at first to try and find someone that could taylor our ceremony to the both of us. I was raised Catholic and my fiance` has no interest in religion but the minute we met Rev. Mark we knew he would be up to the task.

Throughout the year of planning he would check in with us. (But not in an annoying way at all!) He also always made himself availabe and responded very quickly to any thoughts or questions we may have had for him...no matter how big or small- important or random.

We chose to do the wine ceremony because it was something we had never heard of or seen. It was a great fit. Rev. Mark wrote our vows and let us tweak them as much as we needed to and then he read them out loud and we repeated them. I thought that was special and helpful for the crowd because I could barely speak because I was so nervous.

The day of the wedding Rev. Mark made a point to make a quick phone call in the morning for each of to help us stay calm and be excited! When we each arrived he made a point to let each other know how great we looked remained a calming presence for us. Then once we got down the aisle to each other he helped us feel like we were in a bubble that was just for us.

Every bit of the ceremony was taylored to us... he even made it as short and as long as we wanted it. Plus he is very good at making you laugh :)

Rev. Mark is great! We are so proud to say that we used him ... and more importantly we are so proud to say that our paths crossed with his.

Rev. Mark is awesome..that's all you need to know. From the moment we met him we knew immediately he was perfect for us. He demeanor and approach make you feel comfortable..nothing about the process seemed tedious or like a 'wedding interview.' He was never pushy and overbearing but knew when we needed to talk and was always prepared..that is the key..always prepared and had great advice..

He knew what meant the most to us, which allowed him to come up with great ideas for our grandparents and our 5 year old son. At the end of the ceremony he had our son say 'Daddy you can now kiss mommy'..that went over very well..

His speeches were perfect. Not drawn out, very descriptive and touched upon all the great moments my wife and I articulated to him when we first met. The ideas he had for our parents, grandparents and son were awesome..he basically directed our ceremony perfectly..and knew how to handle the staff where we were married..

My wife and I are Catholic and our Grandparents are very traditional. Not getting married in a church wasn't exactly what they envisioned. At the end of the ceremony both our grandparents thought it was one of the best ceremonies they had ever witnessed..they loved it. And the ideas Rev. Mark incorported with our five year old son had people crying..

Rev. Mark of More To This Life Weddings was pure perfection. His attention to detail, his willingness to help you through every step of the wedding process, and his generous and good nature is unmatched. Not only did he call me and offer help throughout, but he was the only calming presence when the wedding came nearer. He showed up on Saturday August 27th (the day of Hurricane Irene) without hesitation, even though many of my other parties were cancelling or thinking about cancelling. After my wedding my guests remarked over and over again how much they loved the service. It was such a personal and heartfelt service, all credit to Rev. Mark, and I couldn't have been happier. He's a great man and Reverand. If you're looking for someone to perform your service do not even consider someone else. Rev. Mark is your guy if you want a classy and honest affair.

My husband and I can not put into words how special Reverend Mark Larose made our ceremony. He went so far above and beyond an officiant's duties! From the day we met Rev Mark, we knew that he was the one we wanted to perform our ceremony for us. From the helpful planning hints and reminders to the friendly "just saying hi" emails, he had made our planning process SO much easier!
Rev Mark gave us many options and suggestions to make our ceremony more personal, which we appreciated so much! We decided to do a wine ceremony (his suggestion), as well as have him tell the story of how we met and got to this stage in our life. His words during this stage of our ceremony were so beautiful. There were tears and smiles and he really grabbed everyone's attention with his story.
Rev. Mark also held a beautiful rememberance for my husband's late mother and it was done in such a tactful and amazing way! It was so special to my husband and that means the world to me.
Our ceremony is something that our guests are still talking about. I have 2 friends that are newly engaged and are getting married in the next year and a half and they have both asked for his contact information because of how amazing and personal he made our ceremony. I would absolutely recommend Rev. Mark Larose for engaged couples who don't want a "cookie cutter" ceremony and want that part of their special day to be made for only them!

Rev. Mark made our wedding ceremony amazing! He personalized it just the way we imagined and our guests couldn't stop saying how great he was. I cannot express how much it means to my husband and I that our wedding ceremony went perfectly. It was between 20-30 minutes, just long enough, but not too long. Our guests were entertained by the story Rev. Mark told of mine and my husband's story and how we met. There was humor and that completely fit our personalities! Rev. Mark takes time to know his clients and to help them with any part of their ceremony...you'll make the right choice by choosing him as your officiant! Reverend Mark did and outstanding job with our wedding ceremony. He listened to us during our initial meeting and made our ceremony personal and meaningful. He was at the facility hours before the service making sure everything was running smooth and he was so helpful, professional and courteous. We asked to have our ceremony more on the spiritual side based on love and that is exactly what Reverend Mark did for us. His service was beautiful! He also custom prepared a tequila ceremony which was Awesome! I would recommend Reverend Mark to any couple.

I am not sure I can even put into words how lucky we were to find Reverend Mark! The minute we met with him in our home, we knew he was the perfect fit for us. He has this way about him that is hard to explain, but when he speaks with you, you feel at ease ... less stressed even (and believe me ... this is a great thing when close to the wedding day!). Reverend Mark was so patient and responsive to every email and phone call. He went above and beyond to help us.
What I will never forget, and will always be so thankful for, is how personal he made our ceremony! I don't know how he did it, but Reverend Mark spoke as though he knew us - and about us - for years! It became apparent at the ceremony that he actively listened to every word we shared with him. It truly meant A LOT to us!
After the wedding EVERYONE commented (and still is) about how "personal" and "unique" our ceremony was. EVERYONE has said that it was the best ceremony they had ever attended, and at the same time asked "where did you find Reverend Mark ... he was fabulous"! I could not agree more! If you are looking for an officiant that will make your wedding ceremony memorable ... look no further!

We were thrilled with the ceremony that Rev. Mark Larose conducted for our wedding as It was TRULY customized to my husband and I. For weeks, our guests remarked at how beautiful and emotional our ceremony was and unlike anything they have ever seen. Rev. Mark truly got to know my now husband, unlike so many officiants today. He's not into "filling the blanks" when it comes to planning a ceremony, he truly values his clients and wants them to have a truly remarkable wedding. Mark Larose was the most amazing officiant we could have ever asked for! From the moment we met him, it felt like we knew him forever. He really got to know the both of us in order to perform our perfect ceremony. He arranged to meet up with us and even skyped with us to calm our nerves a few weeks before the wedding. The day of our ceremony it felt like an old friend officiated, and made all feel comfortable and just right. Our ceremony was beautiful because of Mark, you can tell he puts his heart and soul into what he does. Several guests have commented about how wonderful our ceremony was. We can't thank Mark enough for making our day perfect!

Where do we begin?.....What an incredible job Rev Mark did! We have so many guests that are commenting on how special the ceremony was. From beginning to end, it was just perfect. Our guest said "wow, we wish the ceremony was longer" - they, including us did not want it to end!

Scott and I still are re-living it and will be for a long time. It was unique, different and heartfelt and we owe that to Mark for making it all come together in such a special way!

We couldn't be more pleased. We have to thank Mark for the memories - we will never forget HIM or how he made the best day of our new life together so special!

He even had the MEN crying!!

Rev. Mark was great throughout our whole planning process. We had to do everything from out of state without meeting him prior to the event, but from the first time we contacted him, he seemed so excited and happy to be a part of our wedding. Rev Mark was amazing. We knew within a few minutes of meeting him that he was a perfect match for us. He made us feel comfortable right away and allowed us to share all of our thoughts, feelings, and ideas. Our ceremony was more than we ever expected it to be. Everyone at our wedding raved about how great the ceremony was. So many of our guests thought that Rev Mark must have been a long-time friend because our ceremony was so personalized. Rev Mark was always available to talk to, he responds to emails very quickly and is so easy to work with. You can tell he really loves his work and he does anything he can to make your day perfect! He even called me the day of the wedding to see how I was doing and ask if there was anything I forgot that he could pick up for me. I can not say enough about him! We loved the element of surpise the ceremony had. Rev Mark did not share our ceremony with us until the actual wedding. He also recommended that we write our own vows. Although we were a little nervous about this, we are so thankful that we did. It made the ceremony so special. Rev Mark made our wedding ceremony perfect!

Rev. Mark had my attention from his first response to my inquiry - he was the first and fastest to respond! That was a major plus, I knew that we were already important to him before we even met! Through the 15 months we were planning our wedding, Rev. Mark was there to help guide us and really got to know us! Our ceremony was completely custom written by him for us specifically and more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. He helped us to include things that were special to us, readings by my husband's siblings and most importantly - a little ring ceremony for my step-daughter. It was so important to me that this was not just a day for her father and myself, but the three of us as a family! We laughed, we cried, it was beautiful from start to finish. He even helped us to relax a little by showing us a picture he printed of our dog so he would be there with us. Thanks so much Rev. Mark!

Reverend Mark performed our wedding ceremony on August 14, 2010 and did an absolute amazing job! From the moment we met Mark there was an instant connection and we knew we needed to have him perform our ceremony. His attention to detail, his genuine excitement and interest in our love story and his warm and inviting spirit really captured our hearts. He guided us through the whole process and made us feel so at ease. His ideas were so in tune with what we were looking for which made it so easy for us to work with him. I can honestly say that our ceremony was so great because of Rev. Mark. He was fabulous. Just the right amount of seriousness, wittiness, and sincerity. It was thoughtful and joyous. Rev Mark was excellent! My husband and I wanted a ceremony that was spiritual but not catholic. He was awesome at giving ideas and listening when we spoke. Could not have asked for a better officiant. Everyone at the wedding was raving about him! I was very nervous and was shaking when walking down the isle, but as soon as i reach Rev Mark and my husband the butterflies vanished and i was able to relax. He was very personal AND professional at the same time.
