We couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our daughter’s wedding than Morais Vineyards. From the stunning scenery to the elegant facilities, everything was simply perfect. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, and they were incredibly professional, warm, and accommodating. Could not recommend Morais enough. My husband and I got married here just this past week, and not only is the property STUNNING, but everyone we worked with was so professional, helpful, and incredibly kind. I had multiple guests coming up to me and my husband telling us how beautiful the venue was, how it “was like walking into a castle,” and how shocked they were that a place like this existed nearby. The balcony and the stage were a big hit, the grounds made for some very beautiful photos, and I truly wish I could have spent more time at the beautiful bridal suite!! -

Lovely wedding at Morais!!
We had our wedding at Morais earlier this month, and we were beyond happy with their professionalism and the venue itself. The team at Morais worked so well with our vendors and wedding planner, and the entire wedding turned out perfectly. When we toured Morais a little over a year ago, we were blown away by the gorgeous ballroom and outdoor scenery, and since then Morais had upgraded/renovated their cocktail area bar to be almost twice as big as it originally was. Guests were able to float between the bar and the outdoor area during our cocktail hour, and shuttles were able to drop guests off right in front of the ceremony when they arrived. Not to mention the amazing wines - guests were raving over the Comendador (a red wine - also our personal favorite)! I would highly recommend Morais to anyone looking to have their wedding at a gorgeous, modern vineyard. Thanks so much to the team!Morais Vineyards & Winery's reply:

Morais Vineyards was the perfect venue for our wedding. The layout allowed for a seamless flow between the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—all in one stunning location. Having the getting-ready suites on-site made the day run effortlessly, especially with our vendors coordinating everything in one place.
We first discovered Morais online and decided to visit during their annual bridal expo. Even though we arrived near the end of the event, the staff graciously extended their time and gave us a personal tour. That thoughtful gesture sealed the deal, and from that moment on, everything about our experience was exceptional.
Throughout the planning process, the venue team was professional, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day special. They even surprised us with a personal gift during the year leading up to the wedding—such a sweet touch! On the day itself, they worked seamlessly with our vendors, and all of their recommended partners proved to be top-tier and easy to work with.
We wholeheartedly recommend Morais Vineyards to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run venue with transparent pricing and a team that truly cares. -

We had our wedding at Morais in May 2025 and could not be happier with the venue. First of all, it is the most beautiful vineyard in the US and gave us the European vibe we were looking for. From the actual vineyard to the Portuguese architecture, every detail was perfect! The bridal suite was so fun to get ready in and my husband and his groomsmen loved Morais’ new groomsmen suite. Our photographer had a field day at this venue because of the amazing scenery. The venue coordination team was absolutely top notch - they were extremely professional, kind, and responsive. It truly was the wedding of our dreams and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue (and their wine is spectacular). We could not recommend this venue more!Morais Vineyards & Winery's reply:

Our wedding was on 10.11.24 and it was the BEST.DAY.EVER! Our planning and design team were fabulous, but having Morais as a venue elevated our day. The structure itself is a piece of art, so not much needed to be added to its already natural beauty. The location was central for most of our family and friends, and Morais delivered what we were dreaming of for our big day; the bridal suite was especially perfect and there were so many beautiful spaces for photos! We had a large wedding, so looking for a space to accommodate our needs was key. Morais was very upfront with us about the venue being a "shell", meaning it's just the event space you are renting, so while a bit challenging to work with multiple vendors, it actually allowed us to shop around for vendors that fit our budget, as well as our needs best. It was nice to not be locked down and have the freedom to choose the vendors we wanted. Everyone enjoyed the space as much as we did!Morais Vineyards & Winery's reply:

We had an incredible wedding day here! Not only is it a stunning venue, but the staff is so kind. They were always on point and very organized. Anytime we had any questions or asked for recommendations they were very quick to respond. The venue has so many picturesque spots, it’s truly amazing. They not only have a bridal suite, but a grooms suite as well. Morais Vineyards & Winery is such a dream venue for any couples who are looking for breath-taking indoor and outdoor amenities, a convenient party layout, and elegant intimacy. My husband and I first stumbled upon Morais on Instagram, and once we toured the location, we were stunned by how incredible it is! The staff there were super friendly and flexible when doing tours, making payments, and ordering their delicious wines. Outside of the beautiful grounds, the convenience of the layout really made each transition throughout the wedding day seamless. We felt like this location checked every box! J R Sent on 05/31/2024Morais was and is an exceptional location for a wedding. All of our guests were thoroughly impressed by the well-manicured grounds and reception hall.
From the time we booked Morais two years before our wedding through the day of the wedding, Morais was exceptional. The planning staff was extremely responsive and accommodating. We visited the vineyard twice for a tour, a vendor open house (we HIGHLY recommend visiting morais for their vendor open house - we unfortunately booked all of our vendors before attending the open house, where we met some incredible vendors we sadly couldn’t hire), twice more to sample wines for our wedding wine selection, and finally for our final walkthrough and each time, the visit and staff were amazing. Likewise, Morais is far enough from the DMV that you don’t have to pay DMV vineyard prices, but close enough that our family was able to stay nearby in Warrenton and Gainesville. If you’ve got a May or summer/springtime wedding to plan, strongly consider Morais. I do not give recommendations lightly, but Morais was a no-brainer.Morais Vineyards & Winery's reply:

Having our wedding Morais was one of the best decisions we made for planning our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous (we did our ceremony in front of the atrium), and the reception ballroom was equally as stunning.
One of the reasons we picked the venue was also because in the event of rain you can do the ceremony in the ballroom and they’ll flip the room. It was important to us that we had a great indoor option as well since we had our wedding in April!
We mostly worked with Suzy from Morais who was so easy to work with, and the list of preferred vendors they use were also great.
So many guests raved about how beautiful the venue was to us afterwards, and we’d recommend it 100%!Morais Vineyards & Winery's reply:

Morais was the perfect place for us to get married. The stunning Portuguese architecture and sandstone/stucco tones give European/Mediterranean vibes, which we fell in love with the moment we saw the Palacio building. The greenhouse/Atrium was such a beautiful and intimate space for doing our first look and private vows. The ballroom was stunningly beautiful by itself, but once it was transformed into our wedding decor it felt like a fairytale of everything we had dreamed of that year when planning our wedding. The stage in the ballroom was the perfect place for the ceremony and for the sweetheart table during the reception. There were many compliments on the wine, of course, as well as the venue overall. We can’t wait to go back to Morais for future winery visits and feel so lucky that we get to remember it as the place we got married. -

This venue blew away all of our guests. It's the most beautiful and picturesque vineyard in the area, and I love the European influence - it doesn't look like you're in Virginia! Not only do they include rentals in their price, they also are absolute pros at hosting weddings, so you know everything will be perfect. Their wine is also so good! There are so many beautiful places to take pictures, as well. The bridal suite/cottage is the most gorgeous place to get ready - our vendors also agreed. Everything was absolutely perfect and gorgeous here, and to top it all off, the price for the quality of everything you get is insanely reasonable. My friends thought I had paid double what I actually paid, which is a huge compliment! -

We had our wedding reception here this August after having our ceremony in a Catholic church. It just takes seeing this venue once (even in a photo-which is why we booked it before even seeing it in person) to realize it is the absolute most beautiful wedding venue. For someone who dreamed of getting married in Italy, Morais brought the same vibes right here hidden in Bealeton VA. I’m not kidding. This place is STUNNINGLY beautiful. The architecture of the building is what got me hooked. Inside and out it is so incredibly elegant and makes you feel like you are in Europe. Not to mention the front courtyard, the sprawling vineyard landscape, the back atrium, the bridal cottage and groom suite…and so much more. This place is truly magical. The team is amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Wine is delicious :) I want to have every event here if I could!!!! This is Virginias best kept secret. Book now!!!!!

This wedding venue has everything you need to have the most magical wedding day. We chose this venue for many reasons, the staff were attentitive and professional, the bridal suite is to DIE FOR, and the venue has the option for you to have the ceremony indoor or outdoor (which is great for rainy months!) and can accommodate almost any size. I truly had the most perfect day, and this venue was an absolute dream. -

My husband & I were the winners of the Virginia Bride Magazine luxury wedding giveaway & wow Morais was a dream venue!!! This venue holds so much beauty literally inside & out. This venue was selected for us but we could not have picked a better place to have our wedding. We even got to meet the owners who were incredibly sweet. The staff we interacted with were also very nice & had great communication. Seriously wish we could get married here again!! Also, for my brides…the bridal suite alone will make you book Morais!! -

I got married at Morais last month and it was a dream. The property is so beautiful and has some breathtaking backdrops for a ceremony or photoshoot. We had our ceremony in front of the Atrium which set the scene for a romantic fall ceremony. Be sure to go on a tour with the staff to learn the amazing history behind the owners and the property. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect for getting ready. The only thing we wished was different was having more seating available within the groomsmen quarters. Overall, we had a magical day thanks to the beautiful venue and kind, professional staff. We recommend Morais for weddings and the winery tasting to everyone -

I can’t say enough good things about Morais. From the ease of booking, to the delicious wine, and the absolutely dreamy grounds, I got the fall wedding I had been dreaming about. Morais Vineyard is an absolutely stunning place to get married! This venue is beautiful in pictures, but it is even more incredible to visit and see in person. It was a dream to get married here. Everyone I worked with at Morais were professional, kind, and courteous. They are quick to reply to emails and phone calls. We had no problems working with them. -

I have always dreamed about my daughters dream wedding and Morais nailed it out of the park! Everything about this venue made us feel like we were living in a fairy tale but it was all real! The grounds are open and beautiful, and the beauty of the buildings unmatched by any in the NOVA area. From the majestic courtyard, to the roomy and romantic bridal suit, the palatial, yet grounded, ballroom to the natural splendor of the outdoor ceremony with the crepe myrtle trees blooming in white and the picturesque fountain in the background, our wedding day was absolutely no less, than stunning. Do not hesitate to book here. The staff is equally as pleasant to work with and were very accommodating and gracious throughout the many unknowns and necessary changes due to COVID-19. You can pay fortunes on a wedding but with Morais, their cost is a bargain for what you get compared to others we looked at. Every penny spent was worth it at this venue. You truly get the experience of a lifetime! -

After hearing so many stories of vendor issues during COVID restrictions, I can’t say enough about how wonderful Morais and Megan have been about rescheduling my daughter and her fiancé’s wedding for 2021 and allowing us to hold a micro wedding at the venue on their original date. Endless emails and questions from us were always handled promptly and courteously, and they were able to offer the flexibility we needed when we weren’t sure whether the weather would cooperate or not. It’s such a beautiful venue, and can’t wait for next year! -

Romantic and Elegant
Morais Vineyards & Winery was the perfect venue for our wedding. The ballroom is elegant, the lake and the ceremony site is very romantic and the vineyards are beautifully maintained. Worth every penny!!
We got married at Morais Vineyards last Saturday and it was magical! The venue set the tone for our entire wedding and every time we drove through the grand Morais gates, I was blown away by it's beauty and magnificence! I really wanted a venue with a waterbody and this was one of the few locations that gave me a backdrop of water without compromising on indoor setup. Choosing this venue was one of the easiest decisions we made, we jumped on the first available Saturday which happened to be Nov 9. And while it was a little chilly and the wines were a little bare, we still ended up loving every second of our day!
The venue has soo many indoor and outdoor locations for pictures, the pergola, the greenhouse, the bridal suite, the little chapel! It is a dream for all vendors and caters to all logistical needs of a wedding!
The bridal suite was a massive hit among my makeup artists and bridesmaids, who had a blast getting ready there!
Lastly, but most importantly Cathy is an angel!! She worked with us throughout the process, was super responsive and sweet and made us feel welcome whenever we visited!

The second you set foot at Morais, you'll be amazed. It's absolutely beautiful - and has incredible options for photos and celebrations - from the gorgeous patio of the main building, to an outdoor ceremony location complete with a waterfront pergola, a perfect bridal suite for getting ready on site, a sprawling, elegant ballroom, and of course, the vineyards. What made it even better was the staff! Cathy is wonderful - always happy to help, responds quickly, and is just a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend Morais more! It was the perfect location for our special day! -

Stunning venue!
The pictures do not do this place justice - it is incredibly beautiful!
My husband and I were in search of a place that would look and feel like nothing else in Virginia (and would also hold up to 300 guests) and Morais Vineyards knocked it out of the park.
The entire venue has so many gorgeous places to take photos that are unique and picturesque. The ballroom is so timeless and glamorous on its own that we really didn't need to add any extra decor to it. I had a large bridal party including 11 bridesmaids and a flower girl and the suite was plenty of space for us along with my hair and makeup team in the bridal suite.
Although there aren't many places that deliver food in Bealeton (sadly UberEats, GrubHub, etc are not available), we highly recommend you e-mail Faang Thai in Warrenton. The owner and staff were more than happy to travel outside their usual delivery radius to deliver to the bridal suite for no additional cost.
Overall, choosing Morais was the easiest decision my husband and I ever made during wedding planning. The entire team at Morais (especially Cathy!) was phenomenal to work with. They are incredibly responsive, helpful, and accommodating.

On June 29, 2019, we got married at the most magical venue. The venue itself and the Morais team exceeded all of our expectations. First, Cathy is beyond incredible. She is so kind, helpful, diligent and reliable. Working with her made our experience even better. She goes above and beyond to ensure that your wedding is perfect, and worked so well with all of our other vendors!
Second, the venue is truly a dream. Pictures do not do it justice. I will never forget the first time I went to visit with my mom and sister. I had looked at other venues, but as soon as we pulled up to Morais I knew that it was different. We were ready to book the date before we even left the venue. It is breathtaking! Our our wedding day, we loved having the time to hang out and get ready with our bridesmaids and groomsmen in the suites. We also loved having the ceremony outside by the beautiful pergola and then our cocktail hour and reception inside. The ballroom is unbelievable so even if it rained, it still would've been perfect.
Overall, we cannot recommend this venue enough. We loved it and will always stay in touch/come back to visit! THANK YOU MORAIS - WE LOVE YOU!

We held my daughter’s wedding at this beautiful venue in June of 2019. I just can’t say enough nice things about this venue and their team. Cathy Ricciardi is so sweet and was such a delight to work with. I could tell from each of my encounters with the Morais staff that they take enormous pride in their work and wish to show it in the best possible condition. The venue is beautiful inside and out and so well maintained. Where to begin.
The venue is custom made for a romantic fairy tale wedding. The architecture is reminiscent of a grand Mediterranean villa which we love. Everything has been carefully selected to make a wedding and reception exceptional. There are just so many beautiful photo ops from intricate stonework, beautiful landscaping, fountain, lake, balconies, ornate turn of the century style greenhouse and other unique structures, and of course the vineyards. It is truly a photographer's dream. There is a very cool wine barrel room beneath the building that can be used for pictures and they turned out stunning. There is also a small but beautiful chapel.
The outside pergola where the ceremonies typically take place is a beautiful setting right in front of a lake. The only decor we added was a soft drape as nothing else was needed. The guests then retired to the beautiful bar and foyer area which spills outside to the courtyard with tables for the cocktail hour. There was more than ample room for our 150 guests to move about and mingle. There is plenty of parking and it close by.
The reception room is just Wow! We needed so little decor because the room is just so impressive by itself, decorated in a renaissance castle style. We had small lanterns on each table with greenery and flowers around them and that is all that was needed. The gold chairs added so much to the overall effect. I know it seems like a minor item but when you have 150 of them, nice chairs really make a difference in the overall appearance! There is a beautiful raised dais windowed alcove where the wedding ceremony can take place if weather dictates and it was so nice that we didn’t have to make the final decision regarding indoor vs outdoor until the day of. It took so much stress out of the process….we rehearsed for both and knew it would look good either way. The reception room leads out to beautiful balconies with tables for gathering and enjoying the views of the property. The bathrooms were very nice and there were enough of them that there was never the dreaded line that I have encountered at too many weddings.
The bridal suite is such an amazing addition to the property. We called it the little princess castle which is what it seemed like to our flower girls, We had seven bridesmaids, two flower girls, three mothers, a grandmother and a few other friends in there getting our hair and makeup done prior to the event and we had plenty of room for four hair/make up artists, a huge lunch spread and the photographer taking the getting ready photos. It has a beautiful quiet courtyard attached where anyone could go if they needed to gather their thoughts and grab some quiet moments. There is also a man cave in the main building where the gentlemen could get ready as well.
I really could go on all day about this stunning property and I didn’t get to see all of the features as it was a busy day for me as the MOB. I can just say it was worth every penny and I thought the price for renting the venue was very comparable to prices in this area with so many added benefits. And the Morais wine is great! I would highly recommend Morais Vineyards to anyone wishing to have a beautiful wedding!

My Fiance and I spent alot of time deciding whether or not we were going to have a small wedding outside of the country or a large wedding with all of our family and friends. When we spent time looking up venues we could not find one that had beautiful outdoor space with a large ballroom, large enough to hold our loved ones. Morais was a gem that I found and immediately booked an appointment to see it. An hour outside of DC which is perfect (a destination outside of the city), Morais is breathtaking at first glance. But the ballroom, the ballroom was what won our hearts. This venue had everything we ever dreamed of all at once. We couldnt have asked for a more fitting venue. The staff has been so helpful, informative and answer any and every question we have. Our wedding is next year and I can not wait! -

Dream venue!!! Cathy the venue coordinator was so amazing to work with! She was so friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the whole wedding planning process. This venue is absolutely breathtaking!! I loved an appreciated we were able to take photos everywhere around the venue. Also, the bridal suite was perfect, it had the perfect amount of space for my girls and I get ready! I would do it all over again here. The moment I drove onto the property, I knew I HAD to get married here. It felt like I had transported to Italy and I was so excited from my guests to have the same experience when they arrived. Decorated with LOVE signs throughout the property and the romantic wine cellar for bride and groom photos. My absolute favorite was the bridal HOUSE! The staff was beyond helpful and Cathy was super responsive to my millions of questions. -

Morais was that venue! It was moderately priced and the space was simply elegant. From the initial contact to the last moment of the evening, Morais was nothing short of spectacular! Cathy, our Morias coordinator, was a saint!!!! She was kind, knowledgeable and has the patience of Job. She answered every question (and there were many) and did everything possible to make our wedding day go seamlessly. It is also important to note that Morais has exceptional wine! Cathy was influential in helping us pick the right wines for our reception. I recommend utilizing Morais as a wedding venue and most definitely you want to work with Cathy. She is the best!

Every space is gorgeous - the pergola and surrounding grounds, ballroom, bridal suite - everything! As a wedding venue, it has everything you need for the perfect day (full kitchen, indoor/outdoor ceremony space, cocktail hour bar, I could go on and on..) It's hard to put into words how beautiful this vineyard is!

We had a church wedding but the venue offers a lovely setting for a ceremony. The new bridal suite is just gorgeous and was the perfect setting for getting ready for the big day. This venue offers many options for how you prefer to set up your event.
The staff was very responsive and professional. Oh, and the wine is very nice too! -

When picking a venue you should really consider what comes with the venue (ex. tables, chairs, card box, surface areas for decor, bars, and cocktail tables), how the venue can affect your color scheme/decor, and what tone the venue will reflect on your overall wedding. Morais has it all! Having the tables and chairs and mobile bar takes all of the guess work out of renting. They provide so much additional decor with the price and for how beautiful and large the grand ballroom is you really can't go wrong with having your wedding here. It is the perfect canvas for those who want to add more glam or just keep it simple and let the venue shine on it's own. I have gotten so many compliments on my wedding venue with so many people saying how driving up to the Morais and walking into the ballroom really set the tone for a glamorous wedding. I could not say enough good things about the staff. We had dealt with multiple coordinators throughout our year and a half of planning and each one of them was so accommodating and kind. Suzy was our final coordinator that came on and she really helped everything go so smoothly. She was so sweet and asked all the right questions during our final walk through which even helped me remember smaller details that I wouldn't have thought of myself.
