Working with Megan at Moonshine Studio of Photography was an absolute delight. Aside from being a positive, pleasant person to be around, she worked with my wife and I to help bring our visions to life and immortalize our wedding day through timeless, beautiful images. She is efficient, focused, and provides relaxing and encouraging directions to get the formal photos done in a reasonable amount of time. Because of this, we were able to spend more time enjoying our day with our friends and family, and we got even more "fun" photos out of it, too! -

Moonshine is absolutely incredible and if you're getting married, you need to book them now! From the discovery call, planning stage, engagement photo session, and wedding day Megan made everything so easy and stress-free. Her organization and attention to detail helped take the pressure off us, while also making sure everything was exactly how we envisioned. Both her and Bella made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera, allowing them to capture our natural connection and love for one another, showing personality rather than staged photos. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful! Especially impressive given how rainy, overcast, and windy our engagement photo session and wedding day was, but they created warmth and light in every photo. I cannot thank them enough for their dedication and passion to creating the most memorable experience for us! -

The most incredible human and photographer
I couldn’t write enough amazing things about Megan and Courtney from Moonshine. I’ve been dreaming of the day Megan got to capture my wedding and I now have the most incredible shots to always remember our special day. Megan and Courtney made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and I promise we are both very camera shy. They have a way of making you feel comfortable while still pushing you outside your comfort zone. Megan is truly an incredible human and you’ll never regret using Moonshine, trust me! -

Moonshine was our first choice for our wedding pictures for a reason, and they were even better than we possibly could have imagined. Throughout our planning, Moonshine understood exactly what our vision for our day was and could not have been more helpful and kind to us.
When it came to the day, Megan and Courtney immediately became family. At no point did any photo session or moment seem forced, and every moment became so special and fun. I was so sad when we had to part ways at the end of the night!
Thank you for helping make our day so special! We cannot wait for our album to come back! -

Amazing people and amazing photos!
Moonshine is a very professional, down to earth and amazing vendor to work with in the Buffalo area. They are extremely organized, responsive, and have worked with so many venues and vendors in the area. I had the pleasure of working with Megan and Crystal, who made me feel sexy, confident and just all around happy throughout the entire process! My husband was worried that we had too much time set aside for photos, and at the end he said he had fun and enjoyed the whole experience. The photos turned out gorgeous and I can’t wait to use moonshine again for newborn or family photos. Highly recommend! -

We have been impressed with all the work we’ve seen from Mooonshine photography studio, going back three years. Our wedding venue also gave us a glowing recommendation when we were considering photographers for the big day. Our consultations were pleasant and useful, Megan was full of great advice and ideas for us. We kept our agreement through the pandemic and a full year’s postponement, and everything fell perfectly as we had hoped. Megan and Bella were a great team, encouraging and playful during our bridal party session, then patient and efficient throughout the family session too. So far, we’ve gotten our first set of sample edits, and we are thrilled. Go with this studio if you want a safe bet to get incredible wedding photos. -

We were so happy working with Megan and Bella for our wedding. We had to adjust our wedding day due to Covid, and Megan was extremely flexible and safe. Her ideas of places to go were places I wouldn’t have thought of but our preview pictures look amazing! She definitely has a way of making you feel comfortable and posing you so you don’t have to think about what to do with your body. -

I don't even know how to put into words what an incredible job Megan & Katie did for our wedding day. They were both so easy going and made us feel so relaxed from the initial planning phases and up until our wedding day. Even in the midst of planning during a pandemic, Moonshine Studios were beyond friendly and flexible. They truly made what could have been a stressful process so simple and enjoyable along the way. And I can't even begin to describe how phenomenal our wedding photos turned out. So many people have commented how they are just stunning, which I whole-heartedly agree with. Moonshine Studios did such a fantastic job and I highly recommend them for all of your photography needs. -

As a COVID bride, there was so much uncertainty surrounding our big day, but one thing that I was sure of was that my fiance and I would have amazing pictures whenever it took place (we did get to keep our original date, yay!) because we were working with Katie of Moonshine. We had an amazing experience with her during our snowy engagement session, and when COVID hit, her and the studio were so supportive and transparent in doing their best to accomodate every client during this crazy time. I was so excited to see her on the wedding day and we had so much fun -- working with Katie felt very natural and she gives great organic direction -- it's like working with a super talented friend. You can tell that she (and the whole Moonshine crew) truly love what they do and have the magical gift of translating the very best essence of who people are and what their clients want into photos. 10/10, will reccomend forever. I cannot say enough positive things about Moonshine Photography and our experience with Megan. Rescheduling our date from May-Aug was a breeze. The pre-wedding planning session was so helpful to everything being seamless on our wedding day. It was fun to have Megan around at the wedding. I received so many compliments on how sweet she was and how her involvement/etc. was incredibly professional and appropriate. We are in love with our preview shots (again, so many compliments), and we can't wait for our full edited set. Again, can't say enough good things about Moonshine. Book them! -

Okay, Megan and Katie were absolutely phenomenal throughout the whole process! They got back to us in a timely manner and this was essential due to us being out of state. Even during this crazy pandemic they were there 100%. On the day of the wedding they both made us feel so comfortable and were able to capture all of our special moments. Incredible experience
My husband and I were married in December and we cannot say enough about how incredible Moonshine was! BEST vendors we hired!
I cannot say enough about Moonshine Studio of Photography! Especially Megan and Bella! I honestly don’t know what I would have done without them! They were there with us from the time we started getting ready until the late at night during the reception. Their attention to detail and timeliness made our day run so smoothly! Not only did they take amazing photos, but they also made sure we were on time and assisted with every detail. Megan and Bella are both so talented and have an eye for everything! They found amazing locations we never would have thought of, resulting in beautiful photos we will have for a lifetime. We have only received our sneak peak so far and CANNOT wait for the rest! Where do I even begin.... Megan and her team are truly AMAZING! Megan & Sarah were an amazing duo! They did such an great job capturing the day that I feel like I'm reliving our wedding day every single time I look through the photos. Almost 3 months later, and I'm still smiling from ear to ear, trying to decide which photos are my favorite to pick for our wedding album. They were both so calm and kept the day flowing smoothly, making sure to get all of the shots that we requested. They made the entire bridal party comfortable and relaxed. Their work and editing is so classic and timeless, that I know we will cherish these photos forever. Megan & Sara were a huge part in the reason our wedding day was as smooth, fun, memorable and special as it was. My friend from work recommended Moonshine to us, and it was the ONLY photographer we met with. Meg made us feel so comfortable from our first meeting that it was very easy to just go with them, and I am so glad we did. It rained our entire wedding day, and not once was I worried about pictures. Meg and Bella took amazing care of us, and we had so much fun taking pictures. Megan not only sets the standard for unbelievably gorgeous and genuine photography, but as a professional in general. She is thorough, supportive and incredibly flexible. She was willing to drive further out for our engagement photos and made sure all the photos we requested for our wedding day were taken. Through this process Megan was there for us 150 percent. From helping me bustle my dress, making sure I found my voice and stayed true to the vision I had for myself on our big day, to even teaching us how to cut our wedding cake haha. Megan and Katie have such an amazing eye and talent for capturing every moment of your big day - and on top of it, are some of the nicest and most professional people I have ever worked with. You immediately feel comfortable placing your trust with them, and they do not disappoint. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of our wedding pictures and all of my bridesmaids made comments on how they liked that the photographers gave simple directions but never made it feel 'stiff.' Amy Sent on 06/08/2014I am amazed by the amount of care that Megan and Bella put into photographing our wedding. Starting with our engagement session we knew that we made the right choice when selecting Moonshine! Megan made us feel very comfortable and was very good at judging the types of pictures that we would like. At our planning session we were unsure of where to do our first look pictures, a couple days after the planning session Megan called us and said she drove out to the venue and found two other locations to do pictures before our ceremony. The day of the wedding both Megan and Bella were very professional and very good at keeping us on schedule. Megan was very detail oriented and realized the things that were special to us and made sure to get pictures of these things. During our reception Megan called us aside to take a couple pictures while the sky was beautiful. We would not have even noticed the sky if not for her pulling us aside. I would suggest Moonshine Studio of Photography to every person looking for a photographer. I cannot imagine our day without Megan and Bella. -

We were lucky enough to have Megan and Katie photograph our wedding. Both were wonderful to work with and helped us navigate the day! Megan even helped put my veil in because it wasn’t something that I practiced before. We had a little rain after our ceremony, but they still found a way to fit in some outdoor photos as planned without us getting wet. The only negative note I have is that it took 6 months to get all of our photos. We were married in May 2021, so I know they were backed up with many weddings. Hopefully everything is going smoother now! I highly recommend Moonshine to all family and friends! -
