Best cake ever with an even sweeter family baking them!

Choosing moonlight cakes was one of our best decisions! We absolutely loved every option presented to us in our cake tasting and could not have pictured a more beautiful final product! I love how family centered they were and how much care they place into every part of their business. We can’t wait to come back in a year for our anniversary cake!

Delicious Cake!

For my elopement/wedding, I had a simple vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and it was the perfect amount of flavor without being too sweet. For the decor, there was a red rose to match my bouquet and the top was blank so I could place my cake topper on top. The cake was delicious and moist, and I would highly recommend the bakery. Thank you so much for the perfect, little, adorable, and delicious cake!

Excellent customer experience with Susan

We chose Moonlight cakes after getting so many referrals to them. We had our initial meeting with the owner, Susan and knew immediately this was the place we wanted to hire for our special day. She spends so much time making you feel like you are number 1. She takes her time to help create the most magical cakes and her attention to detail show she really cares about you!!! We will use them for every event we have from here on out!

Beautiful, Delicious cakes and kind people!

They made a beautiful cake for our wedding! Susan and her daughter are both so helpful, and everyone in their shop is kind! They even get in contact with all your vendors so you don't have to worry about them coordinating! We loved our cake and definitely recommend! Oh and its delicious too!

Beautiful, Delicious, and Affordable

We used Moonlight Cakes for our wedding cake and wedding cupcakes. First of all, their cakes and cupcakes taste AMAZING! We tasted cakes from endless other places, and nothing even came close to how delicious Moonlight’s are, not to mention the numerous flavor options! Our guests are still commenting on how delicious everything was. Second, our wedding cake was stunning. They were so patient and kind during the design process and they worked with me until they were able to make my vision come to life perfectly. They are also extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to work with. During our first meeting they gave us important information about buttercream vs fondant for colors and design elements that none of the other bakeries we had visited had told us. In addition, we needed gluten free cupcakes for family members with celiac, and since they don’t have a gluten free kitchen they not only referred us to a bakery nearby that could make them for us, but also picked them up, delivered them, and included them in the display so we didn’t have to do any extra work. Finally, Moonlight Cakes was affordable and they worked with us to make sure we stayed within our budget, including suggesting ideas like fake cake layers (still frosted like the rest of the cake). They truly cared about creating our perfect wedding cake, but also making sure it was one we could afford. Overall, Moonlight Cakes provided us with a beautiful and delicious wedding cake and cupcake arrangement. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Moonlight Cakes is definitely one of the best bakeries you can work with. Despite them being down the street from my parents' house, I didn't know about them until I met Susan and her daughter at my venue's open house. I'm not an icing fan, but I took one bite of a mini cupcake and knew I had to book them if the icing was delicious. The team at Moonlight Cakes is so professional and friendly. We met with Susan and/or Don about three times to make sure everything (mini cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, and cake balls) was in order, and they set everything up at the wedding - exactly how I pictured it. Highly recommend!

OUR CAKES WERE AMAZING! USE MOONLIGHT CAKES! Our cakes were truly show-stoppers! Our guests were so impressed. People were taking photos of our beer bucket groom’s cake and asking where we got them. Our guests were so impressed that the entirety of both cakes was edible. Susan was so easy to work with and does AMAZING WORK! She will go to the ends of the earth to make you happy. She truly makes beautiful cakes and explained everything to our wedding coordinator on how to cut and answered any questions. I would highly recommend using Moonlight Cakes for any of your cake needs and we plan on using them in the future when we need to purchase cakes.

I cannot express enough how much I love Susan and her team at Moonlight cakes!! My husband and I used them for our wedding cake and cupcakes. The team provided excellent service, from initial tasting to set up of our cake table at our wedding. The recipes used are so delicious and catered to all my guests! My husband and I cannot thank Moonlight enough for their work and can't wait for our complimentary baked anniversary cake a year from our wedding day! <3

Whitney and Susan are amazing! They sat down with us and helped design the perfect cake for our daughter's wedding. It was so beautiful and tasted wonderful. We've been to many wedding with pretty cakes that didn't taste good. Moonlight Cakes knocked it out of the park! They were very professional and detail oriented. DELICIOUS AND BEAUTIFUL.
I’d like to start out by saying that Susan makes the most delicious cakes my husband and I have ever eaten. Moonlight Cakes offers a large variety of cake and filling flavors (which not all places do) – I mean options like peanut butter and salted caramel buttercream! TO DIE FOR. Working with Susan was a breeze, she was quick to pick up on what we were looking for and offer suggestions to help guide us. The end result was also absolutely beautiful, an ombre effect of rainbow sprinkles! I’m so happy that they opened up a cupcake shop as well – it means I can eat “duplicates” of my wedding cake as often as I want. What’s better than that?!

Susan is very sweet and lovely. She is so knowledgeable she knew what we wanted before we could even put it into words. She gave us our dream cake and everyone loved it! Most definitely!!!! Susan the owner was wonderful to work with and helped my wife and I design the perfect cake for our small wedding luncheon. The cake was gorgeous in appearance, exquisite as to taste and nicely priced. Great value! Excellent service which included delivery to the wedding venue at no extra charge.

Saw them at our venue's open house and fell in love. Tried other bakeries and no one compared to the authentic natural flavor like Moonlight. Try the chocolate oreo cake, it's so yummy. Great family busisness that continues to grow.

Moonlight Cakes is AMAZING! Susan is a joy to work with and her cakes taste as good as they look! I had a very specific design in mind for our wedding cake and our groom's cake. She worked with my to experiment with different options until we had exactly what we wanted! I still have people tell me how delicious our cakes were. Oh! They are also the best deal in town and their cakes taste and look better than anyone else we checked. We can't wait to have our anniversary cake from Moonlight next year! Highly recommend!

I met with Susan and Whitney to discuss the making of my daughters 18th birthday cake. I had an idea of what I was looking for, a modern contemporary version of a Beauty and the Beast cake, but as a dad I was looking for a little help :-) . It cake turned out better than I was hoping for, the airbrushed colors were perfect and the details of the roses were not only the right size but she bought special paint for the color to be muted and not over power the cakes colors, that's the attention to detail that they think of..... The actual cake was delicious and without a doubt would recommend them to anyone !

The cakes were so good!! We had 2 different flavors for the bride's cake and a totally different flavor combo for the groom's cake. All of them stayed super moist. Their buttercream was delicious and the fondant they used for the groom's cake (it was necessary since they made it into the iron throne from game of thrones) was super thin and they put buttercream underneath it so that it still tasted delicious! It wasn't all hard and gross like normal fondant. But it still looked amazing. Their pricing is also really good for the quality that you get!

Still thinking about the Lemon Twist and Pink day cupcakes!!! On our wedding day the bride's cake (Amore and Snow White tiers) and the mini cupcakes we provided FLEW off our dessert table. All the cakes were so moist and flavorful - they were perfect. Whitney and Susan were amazing to work with. They helped us ideate and bring to life a full dessert table decor - and I'm talking about a good 7ft of dessert table to work with. We had 3 meetings - which were all on time and good to go through all the details in full. They were both super responsive throughout the process. We also went through them to rent all of our cake stands and holders, which couldn't have turned out more beautiful and such an easy process. On the day of, they both showed up on time and with great smiles. We didn't have to worry about a thing, which is the best part. Would use again and fully recommend. So delicious and a great partner on the big day!

I found Moonlight Cakes at the open house at the Piazza. I tasted their cake and thought it was so different. The strawberry cake actually tasted like fresh stawberries. At the time we weren't looking for a cake yet so i took the card and held on to it. When it was time to get cake i couldn't find the card and forgot the name of the place with the amazing strawberry cake. I went back to another open house and finally found them. After knowing the prices of the average 3 tier wedding cake to be about $500.00 I thought since their cake was so good they would be out of our price range. Further more when we did the tastings we were told a 4 tier cake would be the best. Then we were like how much is this going to cost? Well it was the same price i would have paid for a 3 tier bland wedding cake i already tried at other places but I get 4 tiers. :) Everyone loved the cake we got! It was so good! The cake looked really beautiful as well! We had the Red Velvet and Pink Lady flavors ( love the Pink Lady one so much). In fact i'm eating leftovers right now while i type this review :)

Absolutely beautiful designs! I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted and they made it better than I imagined! Not to mention delicious--I sampled numerous other bakeries before this one, and moonlight cakes was by far the best. I felt the prices were very reasonable too, especially for the amazing quality you receive. Thank you moonlight cakes for my beautiful wedding cake.

This is truly the best cake I have ever had! Susan did a perfect job decorating our cake, it came out exactly like I imagined. The cake was so moist, we had our cake customized so that each layer in each tier was a different flavor, that way our guests had both flavors of cake in every slice. She made us a chocolate chocolate chip layer and a white chocolate raspberry layer with a raspberry mousse in the middle.....it was scrumptious! The cake was beautiful on the outside and on the inside. I can't wait to order my top tier again for our 1 year anniversary.

I absolutely loved working with Susan at Moonlight Cakes!!! I didn't know what to expect or even what to ask for when talking about wedding cakes and Susan made the process so incredibly easy. Moonlight Cakes was recommended to me and my now husband by our wedding coordinator. Words cannot describe how amazing our cake tasted. Not only did it look gorgeous but it was the most moist wedding cake I had ever had before (and I have been to several dozen weddings over the years). Guests were telling me throughout the night just how delicious the cake tasted and where in the world I had gotten it from.

Susan and her team are not only professional but they really make you feel like you are a part of their family when you meet them. They help answer questions regarding styles, your vision, budget, flavors, etc. She is really that good and well worth the price.

My husband and I saved a slice of cake to share the following day at the airport on our way to our honeymoon. Let's just say I didn't share it was that good even the day after the wedding. I highly recommend Moonlight cakes for your wedding or other special event. They are well worth it!

First of all, our cakes were DELICIOUS. We tried a few places, but nothing was nearly as good as Moonlight cakes. The owners of the company are the sweetest mother/daughter team and were very helpful during the process. They responded quickly, had plenty of ideas and were so so sweet. When I showed them pictures of what I wanted, and when my fiance just gave them a general idea of what he wanted, they were able to deliver exactly what we both wanted. I would recommend this company to everyone!

Susan and her daughters were such a delight to work with! Upon our first meeting I knew I wanted Mrs. Susan to make my wedding cake. Not only for the quality, but also for personality. She made me feel so comfortable in trusting her with our special day. She even promised my son his very own cupcake and she delivered that promise! That was one of the things I remember from that special day. I would definitely recommend Moonlight Cakes!

Susan was an absolute joy to work with. Our cake tasting was great. My bridesmaids and I got to ask tons of question about her flavors and she was willing to try a few ideas that we had. I have received lots of positive feedback about our cake. In fact, one of our guests who is getting married in October has decided to book with Moonlight Cakes as well. Her price points are great and you can tell that she really wants you to be happy with your cake. We were provided boxes for guests to take slices home as well. My husband’s cake was so much fun. We brought in photos of what we were looking for and Susan and Moonlight Cakes delivered. As my Fiance and I lived in Georgia, Susan arranged for me to take a mini sample kit home for my Fiance to taste the cakes and help with the decision. A+ Service!

Moonlight Cakes provided both the wedding and groom's cakes for my daughter's wedding. They had a terrific array of flavors to choose from, and they were so reasonably priced! The designs were original and creative, and the cakes themselves were so moist that many guests bragged it was the best wedding cake they'd ever tasted. Our cake was SO delicious and we received so many compliments on how beautiful it was! I wanted a simple cake with some detailing and the final product more than exceeded my expectations! Susan was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for my husband and I. She even did a last minute anniversary cake along with our 5 tier wedding cake and 2 tier grooms cake. Everything was absolutely perfect and even more beautiful than we envisioned. Everyone raved about how great the cake tasted and how moist it was. HIGHLY recommend her to others!

Our cake was so beautiful and tasted amazing! The cake was everything we asked for and more. Our grooms cake was an exact copy of my husbands person guitar. The detail work on the cake was spot on!

OMG,
This was the best cake EVER!!!! The cake was so totally perfect that its really hard to describe. We had people who worked at the venue who eat cake all the time, come up to us saying that it was the best cake they ever had (we had a strawberry and white cake). We got a display of cupcakes instead of a grooms cake, and i just want to say peanut butter chocolate cupcakes, after we had bite I was really mad i had to share with my wedding guest, lol they where so good. Susan's cake and presentation just set off a perfect day, it was truly some of the best cake i have ever had. She is so talented and can do so much it is well worth a call and consult you wont be disappointed.

Susan is just so AWESOME! From the flavors of her cupcakes to her fun suggestions at the tasting. I couldn't keep the cupcakes in stock at the reception - we should have ordered double the amount to make sure everyone got a few of their favorites! Before you sign with anyone else, you need to put Moonlight cakes on your list of possible vendors, once you meet Susan and taste her cakes/cupcakes you won't need to look any further!

Susan at moonlight cakes is great. She is wonderful at turning your vison into an awesome cake. Since my wedding I have gotten nothing but complements on how both the bride and gooms cake looked and tasted. She even took pictures of a special car I wanted for the grooms cakes and made it come to life it was perfect, even down to the classic licenses plate. I would recommend her to anyone for any occasion.

I absolutly loved Moonlight and Susan is very helpful and did exactly what I wanted for my cake!! The fondant she uses is def the best ever made .. We had cupcakes at my shower too and they were a huge hit!! :) Susan is definitely my go to baker.

We used Moonlight Cakes for our wedding cake. We came upon Moonlight Cakes through A Sophisticated Affair. I could not be happier with the design of our cake and the taste. It was so difficult to choose the flavors we wanted during the tasting. They were all so delicious. We ended up choosing 3 flavors. Susan really listened to what I wanted and created a beautiful cake that looked just as I wanted it too. It tasted amazing too! I got a lot of compliments from wedding guests saying the cake was so good. It was moist and the flavors were so amazing. We are so happy with moonlight Cakes! I only wish I would have eaten more of it on my wedding day!!!

Our cakes were amazing and were big hit at the wedding. Susan was very easy to work with and very creative! Her cakes look beautifull and taste wonderfully too! There are many choices for flavor and you can pick your design or have Susan use her imagination. I would most definitely recommend moonlight cakes, and will be using them for future celebrations!

Let me tell you, if you want a cake that is not only beautiful, but tastes incredible as well, Susan is your gal. She was able to create exactly what my bride and I wanted, for a very reasonable cost. We received so many compliments on the cake, both it's beauty, as well as it's taste. Super moist, yummy, yummy, yummy. I don't know if we will be able to wait a year to eat the top piece we are saving. Don't even think twice if you are considering Susan, just let her make your cake!!!

Susan was wonderful! She took time to meet with me for a tasting and to go through exactly what I wanted. She personalizes cakes so well! I saw her work at a friend's wedding so I just had to meet her and see if she could make our groom's cake. And I am SO glad she could. She created a cake that looked exactly like my husband's cover (the hat he wears as a Navy officer). It was amazing! And delicious. She worked off of a few pictures I sent her and delivered the cake to our reception venue so I had nothing at all to worry about, which was wonderful because there are so many other things going on on the wedding day that it is wonderful to know she will get her part done with no questions asked!

Loved working with Moonlight Cakes! We meet them and fell in love with the cake right away! It was very moist and flavorful! I loved that they were will to do another tasting for when my parents came in town for them to try the cake too since they were paying for it! We should them pictures of how we wanted to cake and the grooms cake to be and they said it was now problem but small things had to be changed because I did not want fondant icing. I thought I had a understanding of how it was going to turn out but I was a little disappointed in the final look. The flavor to me is what mattered most and it was still so moist and yummy as when we tried it at the cake tasting!! My brother even stated it was the best cake he was ever had at a wedding and he goes to way to many weddings!!! Would definitely recommend moonlight cakes just make sure you don't show them a picture with fondant and you want buttercream! Find what you want in the icing you want first and I know they won't have a problem making it look beautiful!

After tasting countless cakes in the area, moonlight cakes blew me away! I'm so glad I found them as they did an amazing job on my cake. The pink lady mini cupcakes are AMAZING!!!
We had a single tier cake & cupcakes (mix of full size & mini)- Susan does such a great job with sugar work!!! Everything was delivered on time & tasted delicious.
