Amazing!
My wife & I would recommend Monteverde's to anyone & everyone over and over again! Kelly is BEYOND wonderful & made our day so special. She made sure to grab us a plate from our cocktail hour since we missed the entire thing for pictures, we never once had to get up to get our food, AND she even made sure to ask both sets of grandparents so they did not have to walk with full plates given their limitations! Since day one Kelly has been nothing but the BEST! Her staff are all lovely, we went through them for bar services too and the bartenders were sweethearts! Kelly made sure to get us everything we wanted even down to color flatware that matched our colors so nicely. She even brought extra cookie trays & displayed all of our cookies for us. The food was absolutely delicious & ALL of our guests raved about the food all night & wanted seconds, even THIRDS! I would recommend them over and over again, any day. Amazing Full-Service Catering
I can’t speak highly enough about Kelly and the whole staff at Monteverde. They helped to make our wedding day incredible. Kelly helped us plan the menu and place setting / linen rentals for around two years, with patience and grace. Our original venue fell through, and Kelly stepped up, re-planned everything for a new space, and took on the challenge with grace and enthusiasm. Over the course of planning, her responsiveness, kindness, and sense of humor made what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and enjoyable.
The food they served was nothing short of phenomenal— we served seated family-style, and each dish was perfect, timely, and delicious. Kelly also went above and beyond by dedicating hours to help us select unique floral china that intentionally mismatched for a bit of a whimsical, eclectic look. They provided all the linens and flatware, set up a HUGE cookie table, and their in-house bar service was phenomenal. There was never a long line, and everyone commented on how lovely the service staff were (all in zillion degree heat). Kelly even set up the centerpiece of the wedding, which was a gorgeous champagne tower with fresh flowers.
We couldn’t have asked for a better team to make our wedding day as magical as it was. Thank you for everything—you guys are spectacular!-

Christmas Party
We host Christmas Eve each year and decided to have it catered this year. We ordered from the A La Carte menu and the food was absolutely delicious and we will continue this tradition! Thank you Monteverde for making my life easier -

Great Food and Wonderful Staff
Monteverdes catered my wedding on 11/25/2023. The food was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I am still getting texts raving about the food, particularly the custom Ravioli Bar (so good). Kelly was so great in helping us nail down our menu, flexible with changes and so accommodating for our guests with dietary restrictions. She also made sure Ryan and I ate on our day, serving us specifically (just the absolute best). Additionally, the waitstaff at the wedding was incredible. I kept hearing all night about how wonderful the waitstaff was and they TRULY WERE WONDERFUL! They styled a beautiful cookie table, making sure my husband and I had a big box of cookies to take home knowing we'd have a busy night, they packed a meal for each of us to have at home, they brought in some toys for my nephews to play with (what a hit and were so sweet with the little ones period), and just generally, so helpful and made sure our night was as seamless and as perfect as possible. I could go on and on, but thank you, and I'm going to have to make up events just to use Monteverdes again! -

Excellent Bartending Service
We hired Monteverde's last month to bartend our wedding in Downtown Pittsburgh. They provided everything for the bar except the alcohol and were excellent throughout the evening. Multiple guests commented on how great they were and we are very happy with the service they provided for our event.
They were excited to be a part of the day and even helped out with the bridal dance, always smiling and making sure our guests were attended to. We would recommend Monteverde's to any couple looking for bartenders on their special day. -

Fantastic caterer for all kinds of events!
Monteverde Catering, with Kelly (owner) is absolutely OUTSTANDING! They catered my daughter's wedding (August 2022) and everyone there is awesome to work with from start to finish. The food is incredible: excellent family recipes that are delicious and unique! All of my guests raved about everything from the appetizers to the main course. They managed guests special dietary needs, helped us with the setup of the traditional Pittsburgh cookie table, and their staff are friendly, hard working and overall OUTSTANDING. I can not recommend Kelly and her crew enough! -

Beautiful, stunning, amazing
Me an my fiance' Alana R. Holland got married on 06/10/2022 at Mayernick Center and used Monteverde catering. And we and every guest were extremely pleased with how great they were. Delicious and Memorable
Monteverde Catering was truly delicious and I am still having guests compliment us on the food from the wedding! The Chicken Piccata was amazing as well as the Carved Beef, and the side dishes/appetizers complimented perfectly. Kelly was very professional, easy to work with, and makes a very tasty meal! We highly recommend Monteverde’s for your wedding — they have many options and will work with you to make exactly the wedding day menu you want. -

Easy to work with & delicious food!
Kelly and the team and Monteverde were all so easy to work with from day 1, but even trying to plan and re-plan a wedding during a pandemic they were always as flexible and understanding as possible. Kelly never hesitated to let us just try one more dish to make sure we knew what we wanted, and she was even able to customize our menu a little bit for us. And not only is Kelly the sweetest, their food is SO good too! We were so sad when we finally finished off the last of the leftovers they sent home with us! -

The best caterer!
We were SO pleased with Kelly and the Monteverde team. She stepped up last minute when our wedding plans changed and was willing to accommodate our non-traditional venue without hesitation. Monteverde’s Catering was hands down amazing. They exceeded every one of mine and my husband’s expectations. Kelly and the rest of her team were timely with their responsiveness during the early phases of catering planning and they were EXTREMELY flexible. They pretty much allowed us to create our own menu. At the venue, Kelly and the rest of the Monteverde team did an amazing job at keeping up with the food, table bussing, water refilling, etc. The professionalism that each of the employees held throughout the night really stood out to everyone. The food... was OUTSTANDING. Our guests raved about it. We did buffet style which Kelly allowed us to arrange however we wished at the venue, and with her recommendations, everything ran incredibly smoothly. There was plenty of food for our guests and we even had some to take home. I would HIGHLY recommend using Monteverde’s catering for your special event. From the moment we spoke with Kelly and her mom, we felt like family! They truly care about your special day and strive to make it the best that they can. From the affordable price, amazing food, outstanding customer service, and family-like feel, Monteverde’s Catering was the easiest decision we made for our wedding. Kelly from Monteverde could not have been more accommodating. She invited my wife and family for taste-testing. Everything was outstanding. Fantastic food & service!
We chose to gave Monteverde for our wedding this past August at the Mayernik Center. We were extremely impressed with all of the dishes they offered! We ended up choosing the salsberry steak(dont sleep on this choice) and chicken cordon bleu. The food was excellent and the service was even better. I would highly recommend using them for your wedding or any other event! -

Go with Monteverde’s!
We used Monteverde’s for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. We had the buffet for our wedding and it was delicious. Everything was served hot, the linens looked nice, and Monteverde’s staff was great. Kelly was so wonderful to work with; she always responded promptly and was easy to get a hold of. I’d recommend the stuffed chicken and rosemary fingerling potatoes! -

Spectacular!
Unbelievable food, and such a pleasure to work with. They customized a spectacular family style menu for us, people could not stop telling me how delicious everything was. Outstanding
Monteverde's catering is above all the rest. From start to finish in our wedding preparation they were amazing. The food was superb and their service was outstanding. Kelly worked out every little detail of the wedding with us and the night of the wedding Debbie took excellent care of us and made sure everything was perfect. They truly are a high class caterer who I would highly recommend to help make your event perfect. -

Perfect Caterer for out Big Day!
Our decision to go with Monteverde Catering was the easiest decision we made throughout the entire planning process. Working with Kelly was so easy as she was so nice, quick to respond, and accommodating! We had our taste testing (which is free for 4 people, we took our mothers) and all of the food was delicious. I knew right then that we would be going with them. After that tasting we wanted to see how the Prime Rib was (it was a higher package than I originally wanted) and Kelly let us come in a second time to try it! We went with that package and never had a second thought about food until we were eating it on our wedding day. Monteverde Catering took care of everything and we had to worry about nothing. Everyone at our reception went crazy over the food, especially the Prime Rib and I still hear about how great it was 3.5 months later. Thank you Monteverde's! I hope we get to use you for a future event soon! -

Kelly at Monteverde Catering was not only professional and prompt, but she was so personable. Her and her team did everything within their power to make our day special and different. She even visited our venue beforehand with my husband and I to make sure they knew exactly what we wanted. The day of the wedding reception, not only was the food delicious, but she made sure there was enough to go around, and that we went home with some. Her staff was professional and the service was definitely worth the price! -

Kennedy Wedding 2019!
Monteverde did a wonderful job on the food! Friends and family had nothing but good things to say about their meal. The staff was kind and professional! And so patient and helpful while my mom and I tried to figure out color schemes and styles for the tables. -

Highest Quality, Delicious Food
Kelly and her staff were the most friendly and easiest folks to work with for our wedding. From helping us with food selections to taste testing to picking wedding colors for tables at the venue. We were able to design our menu and all the food at the wedding was excellent. Her staff was super helpful and we even had an ice cream bar which turned out to be really popular. We recommend Monteverde’s because they treat you with patience, love, and were actually really excited to be a part of our special day. They made everything super smooth and we could focus on having fun and enjoy the food. Their pricing is affordable and we couldn’t have made a better selection. -

Outstanding customer service
Our venue worked with 3 caterers that we had to choose from. Obviously, the food at all of them was sublime. What we really loved about Monteverde's was how excited and helpful Kelly was. During our tasting she was so thorough and accommodating that we needed her to be a part of our day! She worked with us on making sure our guests with dietary restrictions still had something delicious to eat. She was more than willing to plate and set out the substantial amount of cookies we had after the buffet was cleared. The staff were attentive and incredible as well. Oh, and the food, was unbelievable! I highly recommend the baked mac n cheese bites as an appetizer!! -

Monteverde Catering was the best choice!
It was a blessing to have found Kelly at Monteverde Catering! She was responsive, hard working, flexible and knows her stuff! She was also so helpful with the vision of our reception decor and really went above and beyond in this area. And speaking of going above and beyond, she even went out and bought a cooler for the company just so we could have the ice cream sundae bar we envisioned for the wedding! The food was amazing and we had many friends and family commenting on how good the food was and how much they enjoyed the ice cream sundae bar!! We definitely recommend Monterverde Catering! -

Great food, even better service!
The crew at Monte Verde were amazing. Everyone loved the food and the mashed potato bar was a huge hit. My wife and I are so happy we went with their service and would definitely hire them again if we ever have the need! -

Amazing Service & Professionalism
Monteverde Catering was amazing! They catered our wedding on May 4th and all of our guests raved about the food! We had a sit down dinner and the staff served the food quickly and efficiently. Beyond the food, though, Kelly accommodated our every request including adding individual bows on each guest chair (about 150 chairs!) and setting up a gorgeous dessert table at our reception. Not a detail was missed and any questions we had were answered in a timely fashion. We cannot say enough about the food and service we received. Thank you, Monteverde Catering! -

Married April 27,2019
We had our wedding catered by Monteverde at the end of April and couldn’t of been happier with them. They are a great family owned company and so out going and friendly. They are like part of the family by the end. So many of our guests said how wonderful the food was and asked where it came from. Kelly is beyond professional and a wonderful caterer. The food is fresh and homemade. We highly recommend Monteverde Catering and will use them in the future! -

Monterverde's is the Best!
We had Monteverde's cater both my bridal shower and wedding reception! From the first moment we met Kelly at the tasting appointment, we were sold! She is nothing but professional, not to mention supportive and helpful! The food is absolutely incredible and extremely affordable. All of my guests were so blown away by the cocktail hour, they thought it was the dinner!!! The food was amazing and I absolutely would recommend Monteverde's for any catering needs! Kelly is the best! -

Excellent Catering Service

Best caterer ever!
We LOVE Monteverde's!! I used Kelly and her awesome services for my bridal shower, wedding, and now we are using her for the Christmas holiday season! The food is fabulous and Kelly is amazing to work with!! She was on top of everything every time we called her with our requests. They delivered and set everything up for my bridal shower and wedding. The staff was efficient, respectful and awesome to work with! Kelly is so energetic, fun and genuine that she just wants to you to have the best day ever. Our family and friends are still raving about our shower/wedding food. Some of the best things we've had were the hot sausage, stuffed chicken, 3 foot hoagie, beef sirloin, vegetable medley, etc. Everything was just so delicious!! She is very affordable, especially for the quality of care, service and food you get! Monteverde's is worth every penny plus more!! Highly Highly Highly recommend for any careering services you may need!!! -

Amazing is all I can say. We attended a wedding and was expecting the normal wedding food this past Saturday. I have not attended a wedding with such amazing food. The appetizers were outstanding..beef puffs that melted in your mouth, a cheese puff with a berry sauce and an antipasta station that was incredible. It had everything on it that you could ever imagine and it looked like it was almost gone by the end of the happy hour. There were several other appetizers that also were amazing. With the amount of appetizers I thought this was all we would be having but then came a dinner buffet which looked delicious. I was full from the appetizers but had to try the chicken and stuffed shells because they looked so good and I was not disappointed. Everyone was raving on how good everything was and there were no left overs at our table. By far this was the best wedding food I have ever had. I also have to compliment the staff. When our salads were served all the women at our table were served first and I was very impressed that this tradition was still being upheld. You do not see that very often and it surely says alot for Monteverde's catering. The staff that worked the buffet were very friendly and very knowledgeable about the food they were serving. The group of women working the floor were smiling and interacted with the guests and worked very hard to clear each table immediately following dinner. Their smile and interactions gave off a warm feeling as they did their job. These women hustled all evening to make sure all the guests and their needs were attended too. They surely had a great staff working that night. This group of staff members says a lot for this company by their good attitudes and hard work. I would highly recommend Monteverdes for their amazing food and outstanding service. -

I was a guest at a wedding this past Saturday and I would like to compliment you on a few things. Your food is outstanding. The hot artichoke dip was fabulous as was the stuffed chicken breasts. The cheesecakes were beyond amazing. Next your service was first class. Servers were friendly and accommodating. Two servers and I wish I knew names were spectacular. One lady had longer blonde hair and one lady had a boot on her foot. These two ladies were constantly hustling making sure all the guests were taken care of. I was getting tired watching these two cleaning off tables and bustling around the room. These two were amazingly hard workers and very polite to everyone they encountered. We used Monteverde Catering for our wedding back in May! We couldn't have been any happier with their services. Kelly was easy to work with and was responsive to all of our questions! She made things so easy and stress free! The food was excellent and the staff was friendly and professional. Everyone always had a smile on their face! We also rented our chair covers and sashes through them. The color of the sash worked out perfectly with our centerpieces! Monteverde helped make our day so special and we can't thank them enough! We still have guests commenting on how delicious the food was and how nice the staff was! We would highly recommend to anyone! -

We were fortunate enough to get Monteverde Catering for our wedding at the Mayernik Center in Avonworth. When I first emailed Kelly, she was prompt and friendly. We set up a tasting that week and were so impressed that we didn't even feel the need to look into any other caterers. Kelly and her family have been in the business for a long time and she had all of my questions answered before I could even ask them. She even went above and beyond to make some special vegetarian dishes for me and my husband! The wedding food was amazing and our guests raved about it!! We even got to take home the leftovers! Monteverde's staff was so friendly and professional. Everything from the appetizers to the white glove buffet was beautiful. I very highly recommend! -

Monteverde's catering has the most pleasant, thoughtful group of people working for them and their company is top notch. At a wedding on Saturday night I watched a staff member carry the bride and grooms food and then when it came to our table she offered to get my elderly aunts plate for her. She took the time to tell her what was on the buffet and asked her what she would like. She even stopped back to see if there was anything else my aunt needed. This is one of the most compassionate gestures I have seen with a caterer. This sweet lady and another older lady with long blonde hair hustled through after dinner and made sure our tables were clear of dirty dishes and I watched how these two women interacted with each other and how well they worked together. The friendliness and efficiency of these ladies did not go unnoticed. Also a younger bald gentleman serving the food was very friendly and constantly smiling and talking to guests as we went through the line. It is nice to see people who enjoy what they do and do it with a smile and not a scowl look on their face. Actions like these make impressions and I was certainly impressed by Monteverdes . The food was fantastic. Both the chicken and the beef tips were very tender and the flavor of both was wonderful. I also enjoyed the round potatoes with the butter sauce. I would highly recommend Monteverdes both for their food and their high class service. -

The staff at Monteverdi was amazing! I don't know what I would've done without them. They were so professional and so HELPFUL!! They were absolutely wonderful. It's a family run business and the daughter does the weddings. They are all so sweet. I highly recommend them to anyone. I booked them 2 years in advance and they were so timely and prompt with contacting me and letting me know what they had and the things I could rent from them. 80% of my centerpieces was from them. They assisted the family friends that went early to set up for us in setting up all our diy decorations. They helped us clean up after our reception ended. Such a huge help. -

I would recommend Monteverde's Catering to anyone! Their staff is always friendly and professional. They were very helpful in determining the best options to please all of our guests and very accommodating when I had a guest special request. They also take care of the linens and chair covers, one less thing to worry about. They were fantastic!! -

We used Monteverde Catering for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding reception. We could not have been happier with the service! They were willing to work with us with different menu options and we were able to try everything beforehand. For the rehearsal dinner we did a picnic menu which was perfect for a hot summer night. For the wedding, we ended up going with a buffet, and our guests were still talking about the food months after the wedding. I reccommend the prime rib and rosemary potatoes. This company is very professional and very prompt with returning emails and answering inquiries. The food was a top priority for us and they exceeded expectations. I definitely reccommend them and would definitely use them in the future! -

Monteverde Catering recently catered our wedding, and everything was delicious! We did a food tasting with Kelly before the wedding, and everything tasted was delicious! She was also really good with responding to emails with any questions we had regarding what they could provide. We also rented chair covers and sashes from them, and they definitely helped make the space look beautiful! All of the linens looked great, the servers were very professional, and I was very happy with the food. -

Kelly Goldie and Monteverde Catering was top notch! It is a family owned business that has extremely delicious appetizers and entree options. My husband and I met with her for a food sample meeting and she was extremely professional and reasonable. The day of our wedding her and her staff were prompt, prepared, and provided excellent service. The food was delicious! We had a few vegetarians as well as nut allergy guests, and Monteverde was able to easily accommodate this for us. We would highly rxommend Jelly for her bubbly energetic personality as well as her hard work in this wonderful family business at Monteverde's Catering. -

When looking for a caterer Monteverdes was at the top of my list. Their professionalism and amazing food can't be beat. Kelly and Debby are a Mother Daughter team and you can feel their food and business is their passion. They offer a huge variety of menu choices along with specialty hors d'oeuvre if that's what you're looking for. Monteverdes also has an abundance of different linens to choose from, in practically any color you can dream of! And their staff are so attentive! I can't say enough about this family owned business! We loved them!! Thank you Monteverdes you made our wedding day one people will talk about for years!!! -

Kelly Monteverde-Goldin and her family and staff are truly amazing! we had the pleasure of using her as our caterer at our wedding 09/18/2016 at Avonworth community park. She responded back to our request so quickly, and it really said something especially since it was during the holiday season when I first talked with her! We had a wonderful tasting with her and were happy to work with her! She was able to help us create our special menu at our wedding reception and stay within budget, making sure everyone would have enough to eat. She helped us create the best "bbq" reception meal, with brisket, chicken, and all the other delicious sides. The appetizers are to die for!!!-highly recommend her spinch and artichoke dip, her crab meat and shrimp dip, along with her roast beef wrapped around a pickle, and ham wrapped around asparagus-both with special sauces! Yummy! She was always available to answer any questions we had, via call, email, in person-and she even helped direct us to other vendors at the time when we were looking. Everyone was so friendly and helped my guests feel at home and made sure they had everything they needed. Its the small things-from details of the linen, her warm smile and personality, carrying our food to the table, etc. We highly recommend her services-Kelly and her staff truly made everything about our special day perfect! This catering service was the most professional hardest group of people I have come across in the many events that I have attended. I was a guest at a wedding on 10/14/16 and I myself being a server would like to compliment you on how attentive your staff is to guests and how hard and fast they work to clean the tables so guests can enjoy their evening without the the clutter of dirty dishes. Most impressive was their friendliness towards the guests. Food was wonderful and did not taste like it had been sitting for hours like some food you receive at weddings. Highly would recommend you services to others. -

This catering company deserves a 20/20 rating both for service and food. I attended a wedding on Sunday and was not sure how it would be as it was all vegetarian dishes. Let me tell you it was beyond amazing. Every entree from appetizer to main dishes were outstanding. There was not one thing I could say negative about this food. It was amazing. This caterer was a great discovery for us that night. Next I would like to compliment them on their staff. Their staff was professional, attentive and made sure every little detail was being taken care of. The bride and groom got personal one on one service to and from the buffet. The grandmother had a staff member make her plate for her and something very impressive was all ladies at our table all got served there salads first. What a touch of class that added. I can not say enough good things about this caterer from their food to their staff. Great job Monteverde's catering. -

Monteverde's food and service were both outstanding. The friendliness of the staff in going above and beyond to help make it a special day for the bride and groom and all their guests was remarkable. I had never heard of this caterer prior to last Saturday evening but I will be recommending them. The entrees served on the buffet were delicious, particularly the chicken which melted in your mouth and the sausage was amazing. The staff catered to the guests and made sure everyone had what they needed. At our table there was a couple with a baby who could not decide who was going to go to the buffet first so a staff member volunteered to stay at the table and entertain the baby. We were all amazed that someone would go above and beyond to do this. It was obvious customer service means a lot to this caterer by this gesture of kindness that was displayed. I highly recommend this caterer for both food and service.

What a lucky day it was when we found this wonderful caterer for our daughter's wedding! Obviously, the quality of the food is important, and it was excellent, but I had not realized how essential responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism would be to the success of the wedding. Kelly was with us every step of the way, answering every email right away no matter how trivial, making helpful suggestions, explaining how everything would work, etc. Our venue was almost completely do-it-yourself and I could have felt overwhelmed, but Monteverde provides everything: food, china, glassware, silverware, linens, and staff all for one per person price based on entree selection. Extras like wine glasses, water pitchers, etc. are available from them at additional cost. This made it so much easier, as we did not have to coordinate several separate vendors. Kelly and her team arrived the day before the wedding to set up, and on the actual day helped ensure that everything ran smoothly. We always felt we were in excellent hands, and could relax and enjoy ourselves. We had been afraid we would not be able to have a sit down dinner, especially a good one, within our rather tight budget. In fact, another caterer we called even laughed at me when I told her our price range! But Kelly and her team treated us with the same care and attention to detail they must put into much larger, fancier weddings. Highly recommended. -

We just got married on Friday, and I have to say we had an amazing experience with Monteverde from start to finish! I was sold when I walked in for a taste test and there was an exersaucer for a baby right in the kitchen. That showed me her dedication to her job--and I quickly learned it's not just a job, but a passion to Kelly. That made the difference, and it showed in her amazing food. We had so many guests rave about the food. And the way Kelly catered to my bridal party was absolutely amazing!! Absolutely not one regret about booking Monteverde Catering, so happy with our choice and I would recommend you to anyone, for any occasion! Thank you Kelly and team! -

This vendor was beyond outstanding. The food was incredible and made fresh to order. A brunch with a fresh egg omelet station made to order, pancakes, waffles, meat, potatoes and yogurt with fresh fruit. What a unique idea for an early afternoon wedding. The personnel working the event were very accommodating and very friendly. I would highly recommend this catering company to anyone looking for good food and good service. Food and customer service both deserve a 10/10 rating. -

I wanted to take a moment to tell you how much I enjoyed your food at a Chrissy’s wedding on Saturday night at the Mayernike Center. What a unique idea to have a breakfast bar. The fresh to made omelet was delicious and the two gentlemen making them were a delight to talk to while waiting. They interacted so nicely with all the guests coming through the line. The yogurt bar was such a unique idea and the fresh fruit toppings were so delicious and the women there let me put my own toppings of what I wanted. I had never been at that center before and never have had your food at an event before and I was so impressed with your food and catering services. Your service was high class the whole way around. The lovely lady who released us to the other room where the food was very sweet. She told us what each of the breakfast bars had on them so when we went in that room we knew what to expect and did not waste time wandering around. The entire evening she kept our table clean of dirty dishes and glasses and was so always smiling and friendly when she was cleaning them off. Our table offered her a tip, but she refused to take it and told us it was her job and she enjoyed doing it. Your staff was very friendly and accommodating and I always try to make it a point when I am impressed by a business to let them know. People are always so quick to point out the negatives and I am trying to always remember to point out the positives for things that impress me and your catering service was one of them.
Thank you for your hard work and wonderful food. I will highly recommend your services.

After taste testing multiple caterers, I never thought we would find someone as we are not fancy people. We met Kelly and her staff and they cooked multiple dishes to try. They sold us on the Ramano Chicken. It was delicious. They got to know us during the tasting and we hit it off. We booked them the next day.
We got so many compliments on our buffet, especially the chicken. It wasn't dry or cold everything was perfect. Definately would recommend them to anyone! -

We worked with Monteverde Catering for my daughter's wedding shower 2 1/2 years ago. The business came highly recommended - by everyone! Of course, planning for any event can be fun, but stressful! Every time I needed to contact the business, they treated me so professionally and were calming. We had ordered from the cold sandwiches menu and the food was not only delicious for our guests, but plentiful! For my daughter's baby shower this past weekend, we didn't even blink an eye on who to contact for food. This time we went for a warm lunch menu (due to it being January in Pittsburgh). There were so many choices and no matter who I talked to (so many people in the area use this service) ALL food was rated high! We ended up with the Chicken Romano, red potatoes, mixed vegetables and salad. Oh, my! All who attended raved about the food. Couldn't be happier! Not one complaint from the 1st phone call to delivery - which was extremely prompt. (Set up was quick and perfect!). As you can tell I can not say enough about this family business. Love them and highly recommend them for any event! -

I reside in housing for older adults. We had our Thanksgiving dinner catered my Monteverde's, in November. Since the food and service was so good at that time, it was decided that Monteverde's was going to cater our Christmas dinner. What a job Debbie and Kelly did. All of the attendees raved about how tasty the food was. Not one person complained of being hungry after the meal. A manager of the building informed me that other facilities were enquiring as to where we had our meals catered from.
Again Monteverde's provided us with first class service. In conclusion if I could rate Monteverde's higher than 5, I would rate them at 100+++++, for the quality of food and service. -

What a fantastic organization, and most importantly, wonderful people who put your event first. I live in a building that is for older adults. We wanted to have a early Thanksgivng dinner.
We decided to have the dinner catered, so we chose Monteverde's.
I must say that Montervede's was an excellent choice. Debbie and Kelley sat everything up and were very professional. The food was awesome, and also plentiful. All of the persons who attended the dinner enjoyed the meal and agreed that the food was excellent. I wish that I could rate Monteverde's at 100 because the 5 rating is just not high enough. I just want to add these words, EXCELLENT,EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT.

Outstanding food, outstanding service. I have attended several weddings over the past few years catered by Monteverdes and I decided it is time to give them the credit they deserve. Their food is delicious and the variety of food offered is never disappointing. At the wedding I attended on 10/10/15, the stuffed chicken breast and stuffed shells were amazing. Not only does their food rate them at the top, but the quality of service that is provided is first class. A few things that make their staff stand above the rest is their attentiveness to each guest, the friendliness displayed to each guest, and their ability to accommodate each guest as the night goes on. I saw nothing but smiles on Saturday from the staff and they worked hard to make sure the evening was perfect for the bride and groom. Their food and the service provided makes them stand above the rest. -

I cannot speak enough kind words about Kelly Monteverde and their staff. First off, their food is the best catered food I've ever had. After tasting their seafood, steak and chicken opens I was blown away. Their garlic potatoes are a dream!! Both Kelly and her whole family are awesome to work with. They're very down to earth and very easy to get along with and feel comfortable with. Payments and contracts were very easy to read and complete. Food tasting was amazing with them! We got to bring whoever we wanted and everyone got a full plate of eat meal. We left stuffed! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking to get catering done for any event. I will 100% be using them in the future! -
