By far the best wedding vendor we worked with. Not only is John an incredibly kind person, he was also the most responsive vendor we had and completely exceeded our expectations. He responded to every email within minutes, which was amazing, and he truly nailed every detail of our wedding day. He attended our rehearsal, accommodated all of our requests, and was such a calm and reassuring presence throughout the process. His experience and expertise in the wedding industry were obvious.
The photobooth was perfect, and our guests had so much fun with it. They even loved spending time with the photobooth attendant. The music was exactly what we were hoping for, and he kept people on the dance floor all night. So many of our guests told us how much fun they had dancing and how great the playlist was. His MC style was also exactly what we wanted: he guided guests smoothly without ever overpowering the wedding. Truly 10/10, 5 stars, and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. Thank you, John! -

As a type A bride who was planning her wedding from across the country, working with John as my DJ was just what I needed to calm my nerves. John responds in a timely manner and holds efficient planning calls where he asks all the right questions to prepare for your big day. I was delighted to receive a link to his planning site where I could select songs I wanted to hear and upload my timeline and details. John is highly organized, takes the time to get everything right and clarifies with you if he has any concerns.
As far as execution on my wedding day: many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and this was in large part because of the fantastic DJ'ing and MC'ing. Our dance floor was packed from when it opened til last call. John even did a fantastic job selecting songs with just the vibe I wanted for the dinner portion of the night. Everyone commented on the great music - across all age groups - and had a blast. John even brings fantastic party lights that really get everyone in the mood to dance. On top of that, John is delightful and kind.
John also took care of the sound for our ceremony and did a great job making sure our vows were clear on the beach over the sounds of the waves.
Hire John for your wedding or big day. You will not regret it. -

I gave him all the playlists I wanted and told him the vibe I was aiming for and he delivered a great experience. He was very friendly and professional and everyone had a great time. A lot of DJs don't know how to mix so the song transitions are awkward but he did it smooth. I highly recommend him. -

I'm proud to recommend John's DJ services as he is extremely talented and knowledgeable he was the DJ for our wedding in June and our friends and family were very impressed at his charisma and skills, he mixed our first dance song medley and did an incredible job. I had a lot of song requests that could be overwhelming but he remained patient through the whole process and we really appreciate it, the up-lights and TV screen with photos of the night were the hit we got a USB at the end of the night with the photos and we love the fact that we got to keep all the photos submitted by our family and friends. John is without a doubt the best DJ in the Monterey Peninsula, you will not be disappointed by his service.

When my wife and I were planning our wedding, I told her the only thing that mattered to me was tearing up the dance floor with our friends and family. On the day of our wedding that’s exactly what happened - all of course, thanks to John. He made the night one to remember.
To start, John was timely with all forms of communication. His demeanor was always friendly and professional. He gave us access to his online planning tools which made music selection for the ceremony and reception much easier. He also met us in person a couple of days before our wedding to smooth out any loose ends.
Our ceremony was at Carmel Beach and John did a fantastic job setting everything up. While it was slightly windy, nobody had an issue with hearing our officiant and our vows.
After our procession he immediately left to head to our reception space in Carmel Valley (20 minutes away). Not to mention, parking can be challenging at the beach so we were thoroughly impressed with his transition time as he had the reception space setup in no time!
His mixed our favorite songs in such a seamless way. Everyone, including our grandparents were dancing their hearts out! We would gladly have John dj another event of ours!

Our wedding was in Big Sur & even after all the natural disasters John came prepared & even picked up an extra generator the day before.
We gave john a playlist for the reception & just an 'idea' of what we liked for cocktail hour. He nailed everything. Played the classics during cocktail hour & dinner then a mix of 90s, country, and our playlist for dancing.
He did such an amazing job & the sound quality of the mics he provided was perfect. Our guests complimented his work & he got EVERYBODY DANCING! I can't say a lot about him as an MC because we specifically requested minimal MC'ing. What he did say worked for us.
He is amazing to work with definitely recommend! -
