As the mother of the bride, I cannot express how wonderful and fabulous Monteluce Winery was to our guests and bridal party. The food was spectacular, and the venue was wonderful. My daughter had her wedding ceremony in the wine production room, which gave an ambience of pure magic. The cocktail hour was held in the bar area and the reception was in the main dining room . The lighting, with all of the windows was beautiful. Our guests were able to go out on the deck, look out at the vineyard and take in all of the wonderful scenery. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a magical Tuscany wedding event! -

Our wedding was amazing at Montaluce! They let us wait to decide on our wedding being inside/outside until the day of, giving us the best chance with weather. Our outdoor wedding was beautiful and the food was great. Danced all night and everyone loved the venue. Truly feels like you’re not in Georgia with the views. -

We truly had such an amazing experience at Montaluce and honestly wish we could relive the day over and over again. It really is such a magical venue. Even with bad weather, our ceremony turned out so stunning in the wine cellar. The food was delicious both at the tasting and on the wedding day, and we received so many compliments on the cake.
Grace's communication throughout the entire process was also wonderful — we really appreciated all the support she gave us along the way! -

We had the most wonderful experience hosting our wedding at Montaluce. The grounds were stunning, the atmosphere was perfect, and the dinner service was excellent. Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful everything was and how much they enjoyed the food. It really felt like the venue elevated the entire event.
The staff was professional, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the evening. They were also very flexible and accommodating to our specific requests, helping to make our wedding feel unique and personal.
While the on-site restaurants and winery were still operating during our ceremony and reception, we did not feel that this negatively impacted our experience in any way. Onlookers were respectful during our ceremony service by the oak tree and even provided some cheers, adding to our celebrations.
If you're looking for a scenic, well-run venue with great service, Montaluce is an excellent choice. We’re very glad we chose it for our big day. -

Stunning, fairytale venue
This venue was absolutely gorgeous, we couldn't have been happier with our wedding day. We truly felt like guests of honor, without stress or rush. We enjoyed our wedding and reception and look back on it fondly. We smile every time someone asks us about our wedding day because it is truly a beautiful core memory in our lives together. The views were breathtaking and the food was amazing. -

Montaluce was the most beautiful and perfect venue for my husband and I’s dream Tuscany wedding! 🤍🍾💍 The Events Team, every single staff member, and just every inch of this gorgeous place was simply perfect! The food was delicious, the views were gorgeous, the service was immaculate! My husband and I had the most perfect black-tie/formal timeless, classic, modern, minimalist wedding. I am an EXTREMELY meticulously detail-oriented perfectionist, and I’m all about the aesthetically pleasing and gorgeous atmosphere. From the day that we toured Montaluce, to our tasting, to the day of our wedding, the communication, the attention to details, and the personal care was outstanding. The events team genuinely cares about helping provide your dream wedding, and every time I felt like a crazy bride-zilla sending like a bazillion emails, they had no problem in addressing my questions/comments/concerns, and they did it with love and patience. Lol my husband and I just can’t say enough about how perfect this experience was with Montaluce. It was everything we ever dreamed of, and every single one of our guests, vendors, etc are still gushing about how gorgeous, fabulous, and perfect the day was!!!! Everybody was treated like royalty, especially my husband and I, no one had to go hungry, without a cocktail, or was bored during any part of our day, which was amazing because I’ve been to many weddings where you get bored, get hungry, want a cocktail, and you’re simply not attended to. This was not the case with Montaluce, it was a genuinely perfect experience for all of our guests, and even our vendors. The day was without a hitch. I will continue forever to tell everybody that our day was literally perfect. 🤍🥹 Thank you, Montaluce! We love you and will come back for more anniversary dinners and special occasions! 🩷 Also, a special shout out to Caleb, Macy, and Shelby who were the amazing Events Team members that we had the pleasure of working with, the cooking staff who cooked an amazing meal, and the serving staff who treated every single one of our guests with care and detail! Review:
I cannot recommend Montaluce Winery enough as a wedding venue. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were transported to the picturesque landscapes of Tuscany. The setting was absolutely stunning, and it provided the perfect backdrop for our special day.
Getting married under the oak tree was a dream come true. The natural beauty of the surroundings, combined with the elegant setup, created a truly magical atmosphere. The pictures captured in this enchanting setting were breathtaking, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.
Not only was the venue itself remarkable, but the service provided by the staff was exceptional. From the initial planning stages to the day of the wedding, the Montaluce team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. They were attentive, accommodating, and made us feel like we were their top priority.
The food at Montaluce Winery was nothing short of incredible. The culinary team created a menu that was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our guests were raving about the quality of the food, and we were thrilled to have such a memorable dining experience on our wedding day.
Overall, Montaluce Winery exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The venue's Tuscany-like ambiance, the breathtaking oak tree ceremony location, the outstanding food, and the top-notch service all contributed to making our wedding day truly unforgettable. Best venue for the best day!!
I searched day in and day out for a wedding venue that fit the look I was going for, and when I came across Montaluce, I just knew we had to say “I Do” there. Montaluce is a literal Tuscan dream located just a few hours away from me. I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it before. The vineyard views are breathtaking and the food and wine just tops it all off. Everyone complimented our venue, and the Montaluce team made everything such a breeze! I wish we could re-live it over and over because it was absolutely perfect! Can’t wait to return for our 1 year anniversary celebration! Thank you to everyone at Montaluce for making our day so perfect!! -

We recently hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding at Montaluce Winery. It was a little intimidating, at first, to have a destination wedding and not having the opportunity to be 'hands on' and 'right around the corner' throughout the process, however, after touring (several times) and meeting with the event staff at Montaluce, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication was always quick and all of our requests were met. They exceeded our expectations and our guests were blow away by the ascetics of the venue, the attention to detail of our meals, and the excellent service received from the staff. Having a pasty chef, on staff, to make our wedding cake and rehearsal dinner deserts was a huge bonus! A few days prior to our events, we had the opportunity to participate in the on-property wine hike with a few of our early guests and truly had the best guide and services throughout our tasting, as well. We will absolutely be back, to enjoy the beauty of dinning and view at Montaluce Winery. You truly made our events a dream! -

This wedding venue was to DIE FOR. Montaluce was very professional, organized and flexible. They worked so well with all the details of our wedding, including when things went wrong. They took such good care of us all the way leading up to the wedding and especially day of. The team there is very friendly and were ready to help in any way. The event coordinator, Shelby, was absolutely exceptional. She took time out of her days off to communicate with us and help if something was off track or if we had any questions. Our guests were in awe of the beauty of this venue. Our May wedding was gorgeous. All the flowers were blooming, trees were green and vineyards were starting to grow. We didn't want our night to end and Montaluce will always have such a special place in our hearts for providing us with such a glamorous, wonderful wedding.
The food was also wonderful! They offer many options and a food tasting for 4 people to try and choose the meals for the wedding. All kinds of meat options. Everything is very upscale and professional along with dessert and appetizer options. -

Amazing amazing amazing
WOW. Wow is honestly the only thing there is to say about the service Montaluce provided my husband and I (+ our family and friends) for our wedding. Everything was absolutely superb. The staff were incredibly accommodating and kind, the food was beyond delicious, and Shelby literally blew us away. No stone was left unturned- even the smallest details were perfectly executed. I am so type A, and Shelby was always so patient and literally did a perfect job the day of. It ended up raining on our day and we had to move to the wine production room, and honestly, it was more beautiful than outside would have been. It was so romantic and intimate and I'm actually so happy it rained and forced us to move. It was the most amazing ceremony space.
We have had endless texts, calls, and conversations with guests who said not only was the wedding beautiful, but that it was the prettiest wedding/most perfect wedding they had ever attended. Multiple guests said it was the best food they have ever tasted. One guest made a point to tell me that “they had tried to find something to critique, but they could not find a single thing wrong with anything.”
From the moment I walked into Montaluce, I knew it had to be the place I married my best friend. Well, now that the “I do’s” are done, I can easily tell you that was the best decision I could have ever made. Montlauce made our dream wedding possible. So to the chef, kitchen staff, wait staff, bar staff, set up/break down staff, security, Katie, and especially Shelby who treated us like royalty and corrected my florist’s mistakes when they refused to... THANK YOU. Thank you for all of you hard work and kindness throughout this entire process. Literally, my florist forgot multiple items and Shelby knew I was so upset. When they refused to return, Shelby literally went around and found ways to correct their mistakes for me. This team was a pleasure to work with. We loved every moment. So if you can swing getting married here- DO IT!! -

Absolutely amazing!
Our wedding at Montaluce last weekend was truly the best weekend of my life. Montaluce and their staff truly made it such a smooth process. The venue itself is beautiful, and the guests are still raving about how good the food was! Shelby, the coordinator was an angel on earth (but she runs a tight ship to make sure everything is perfect!) I honestly can’t think of a single thing that could have been better. I wish we could get married 1000 more times just to do it at this venue! -

Jessie Sent on 07/11/2018Literally amazing from our very first impromptu venue visit all the way up until our wedding day! Very quick and responsive to any questions or issues I had in the months leading up to my wedding, both by email & phone.
We started out with Jessie as our wedding coordinator, and even used her for our tasting. About 2 months before my wedding, a new wedding coordinator took her place and I was briefly terrified. But, I DEFINITELY didn't need to be. Katie (the overall event coordinator for Montaluce) helped me out in the interim between the switch & she's lovely.
I met Shelby (the new wedding coordinator) at my wedding rehearsal and she blew it out of the park. She is amazing. Totally on top of everything. On my wedding day, she took care of literally everything and I didn't have to worry about anything -- other than not falling down as I walked down the aisle! Shelby & the entire staff at Montaluce made my wedding day utterly perfect. I could not have asked for a better venue for my wedding. -

Ashley Sent on 11/21/2011Montaluce was the backdrop for our fall wedding and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. It is a mix of rustic and refined, warmth and beauty. The second we walked in we fell in love with the space and that feeling continued each and every time we returned. The staff is amazing - Tracy worked with us to make sure everything was taken care of and ready to go the day of the wedding. Even during the reception she was on hand to oversee everything and make sure we had anything we needed. The food at Montaluce was incredible. We have a lot of foodies in our group and everyone is still raving about the food. I've been to a lot of weddings, but none can compete with the amazing menu they prepared. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests and ensure that we had the perfect wedding day. -

Elizabeth was a dream to work with and there was no other vendor I dealt with that was as flexible as Montaluce. Anything we asked for or needed the answer was always "Sure, we can do that!" They even gave us an additional hour for our reception since the ceremony started late due to my wedding planner forgetting the wine for the wine ceremony (at no fault of Montaluce!) Perfect site, super flexible, and gorgeous in photos! Worth the expense! Thank you Elizabeth and Montaluce!! -

Elizabeth Sent on 10/26/2014The Montaluce is a gorgeous venue that has the most spectacular views. From day one, our planning team Kara and Katie were fantastic explaining all of our options and answering all of our questions (and believe me I had a lot of them). Yes, when you add everything up it can get a little pricy but, I checked out many wineries (in several states) and that is the nature of type of venue. You do have to use their day of coordinator and she was worth every single penny. Our parents (and several guests) noted how they were everywhere on our wedding day, making sure everything was perfect and accommodating every request that was thrown at them (a silly example, while getting ready I needed a diet coke bad and Katie was back with one for me in like 2 minutes flat). She took care of contacting all the vendors and setting them up along with the room. All of our decor looked fantastic, and at the end of the night she made sure everything was packed away safely in my mother's car so there was nothing left for us to take care of. The food was fantastic, and while the initial portions were small, they came back around with seconds for anyone who wanted some more (the mashed potatoes were to die for). We did spring for the candle package and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere it added was incredible and we only used flowers as accents to the candles. The most beautiful setting we could have ever asked for.
The venue also did our dessert. After being in the service industry for so long and watching many a cake get tossed, we opted to do finger desserts in place of a cake. The in-house pastry chef at the Montaluce is amazing! She had a ton of suggestions for us and was able to accommodate our request for fruit tartlets with ease. The display was beautiful!
I highly recommend the Montaluce to any bride and would absolutely have my wedding there again if I had to do it all over (actually, for our 5 year we are thinking about doing a vow renewal ceremony here). -

The best day ever!
Our wedding was an amazing experience! Montaluce is gorgeous!! Our guests could not stop giving us compliments. The food and cake were great! A gorgeous slice of Europe in GA!
Having my wedding at Montaluce was wonderful. It's a slice of Europe on the east coast of America. The views are gorgeous, and the day turned out just as I had envisioned it!
I will say that my experience at the beginning (pre-booking, the booking process, etc.) was less than great. BUT once Ashley came on, everything really smoothed out. She really knows her stuff and was great at making sure we felt taken care of. She kept note of all the details and everything turned out beautifully.
We had our ceremony at the Oak Tree, and the reception outside on the Vineyard Overlook which was gorgeous. Being from out of state, Ashley made sure to give us tips about the venue, things to expect with weather etc. and she was spot on with everything.
All my friends and family couldn't stop talking about how beautiful Montaluce was. It truly is a special one. Can't wait to come back for future vacations to remember our special day.

Beautiful Tuscan Winery with Fantastic food/drink/service!
Every employee at Montaluce was AMAZING! We first did our tour with Shelby, and she was a rock star! She was able to answer all of our questions and I was extremely nervous when she left, but Lexi stepped in and killed it! Lexi's communication throughout the whole planning process was outstanding and Montaluce accommodated us in so many ways. The food tasting was delicious (full plates for every courses so come hungry!) and every employee made us feel extremely special. Fast forward to our wedding day and 5 stars isn't enough! The views were beautiful as always, the food was delicious, and the staff was amazing! Our servers and bartenders were outstanding! Many wedding guests told us this was the best wedding they've ever been to. THANK YOU for making our wedding truly the best day ever! -

Such a beautiful venue! It feels like a small piece of Italy, and the views and ceremony locations make for great pictures. There is also a very nice indoor ceremony space in the wine cellar in case of rain. The food is very good, and was served to a group of 100+ guests without issue. The service by the waitstaff and bartenders was also very good.
However, the service by the event staff was not up to par. I booked over a year out, and it frequently took several messages or calls to get ahold of the event coordinator. She frequently was a bit short with us as well. She also showed the venue to strangers as a wedding venue on the day of my wedding as I was getting ready, which really irritated me. My bridal party and planner even commented on her rudeness. For the price to book this venue, I feel that better service was expected. -

Communication from this venue was poor from the moment I signed my contract. I often could not get responses, and unapproved key details kept changing from what was originally agreed upon, including inclusions, vendor requirements, and added costs for items that were initially presented as part of the package.
As the wedding approached, the venue director, ASHLEY, became increasingly unprofessional...including yelling at the bride. I was told I could either accept and sign a new unapproved revised contract or take a refund (she updated the contract and then attempted to get us to sign a new one hoping we wouldnt notice claiming it was never signed).
The refund process was extremely frustrating. It took nearly 2 months to get a response, my emails were ignored, and I had to continuously call just to get an update. Even then, I received conflicting information and was told it wasn’t their problem and that I could wait up to 3 months for a mailed check.
Overall, the lack of communication, unexpected contract changes, and unprofessional handling of concerns significantly disrupted my wedding planning. I would not recommend this venue.Montaluce Winery's reply:
*THIS REVIEW CONTAINS FALSE INFORMATION AND IS SLANDEROUS* (1) Our event software does not allow documents to be modified once they are attached to email communication. We have the first email we sent to Alyssa and Michael with the original attachments in place, which never changed throughout the planning process. (2) Alyssa was asked to sign her contract on more than FOUR separate occasions (specifically in writing on 11/23/24, 12/27/24, 12/30/24, 3/16/26). She never signed the contract. (3) Alyssa missed a payment that was 7 months past due despite email reminders. (4) Alyssa was verbally abusive to multiple members of the Montaluce staff, which will never be tolerated. These are the reasons Alyssa is not getting married at Montaluce. -

Non-existent communication, didn't provide what was promised, weren't ready on time, wrong food, wrong cake, save yourself and your wedding day and find another venue. The views are beautiful and it could be a fabulous place for a wedding but the staff is awful.Montaluce Winery's reply:

If I could give this venue negative stars I would. The way they ran our event was absolutely devastating and I’m hoping to save future brides/couples the heartache and disappointment dealing with them. It began from the time Lexi took over from Shelby when we booked. Lexi was difficult to deal with and when she left we weren’t made aware, and found out AT OUR TASTING that Caleb would be our new event director. This is when things really went south - because I only have so much room in a review I will outline things this way.
1. Caleb was incompetent and awful with communication. He was difficult to reach throughout our entire process & even scheduled another rehearsal over ours and didn’t show up until after it ended causing my husband and I to be late to our own rehearsal dinner.
2. The day of our wedding Caleb and his team were running behind which ultimately put the entire day behind including the kitchen and causing us not to be able to enjoy much of our reception.
3. The chairs placed out for ceremony were visibly broken and damaged - 39 of them had to be replaced pushing my ceremony.
4. The food served WAS NOT WHAT WE CHOSE AT TASTING. Furthermore - the menu Caleb printed and placed on the tables had the correct items listed. How?!?!
5. Our cake was completely wrong - not decorated as requested and the flavor was wrong. Even after we triple confirmed our simple design would be no issue.
6. Security was no where to be found and there was a family permitted behind my ceremony space and where I was taking photos - taking their own photos.
7. One of the hostesses was on the floor in the large stall in the bathroom vaping and when my friend who was helping me (brides get it) asked her if we could use the stall she got up rolled her eyes and stormed out. She left the door unlocked so we didn’t know until we opened the door to find her on the floor vaping.
Now they are unresponsive and not taking us seriously and have made no true efforts to make this right.
This isn’t all of it, but it is the major items. I am so heartbroken and truly hope no one else makes the same mistake I did booking this venue. If you do, I genuinely hope this review helps them realize they must do better for you.
