    Fantastic food

    Everyone was telling us that we had the best wedding food they had ever had. Everything was hot and tasted great. Sherry worked with us through two wedding date postponements (thanks covid) and was so flexible and accommodating. I love how they make sure to make a plate for the bride and groom before everyone else is served so we were able to eat.

    Mojos is the way to go!

    Amazing food and service. Sherry was excellent throughout the entire planning process. We will definitely be using mojos for other events as well.

    MOJO bbq is hands down one of the best catering options in north Florida!!!!

    One word to describe MOJO bbq on our wedding day..WOW!!!!!! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the service was the friendliest and the best! The catering and bar staff took care of everything I asked of them and more! Thank you sooooooo much Sherry and MOJO BBQ! You made our wedding day perfect and we loved all you did for us!

    Alex is amazing!!!

    I can’t type enough good things about Alex and her team with Mojo BBQ. We hired them through their Lakeland location (Mojo Federal), and they delivered perfection. Not only is Alex absolutely perfect and on top of everything, but the food was AMAZING. Do yourself a favor and hire this team. You’ll be in good hands.

    Mojos in Jax Beach was my first date spot with my husband. Once engaged we immediately decided Mojos- no doubt about it. Sherry Fasano was our contact there and she was nice to work with. The day of- our bartenders were awesome! They were sweet and the food was AMAZING. I was nervous to have bbq but our guests kept saying how great it tasted- I would have them cater again in a heartbeat! The true gem of the night was the bartending service. Bartenders were extremely friendly and welcoming. All guests raved about bartending services. Our wedding was beach formal about 120 guests! Thank you Mojos!

    Amazing service and food!!!!! Everyone raved about how great the food was!!!!!! Sherry was amazing to work with! She was so helpful through the whole planning process!! Would recommend them anytime!!! We still go up to the location in Jacksonville beach to eat! Sooo good!!!!

    They did a great job catering my outdoor wedding. The food was as good as it is in the restaurant and it was a perfect choice! Sherry was really helpful in assisting me in how much to order, and what was appropriate for my wedding. They really knocked it out of the park!

    Sherry with Mojo is awesome! Her team that she sends out is great! I knew exactly what they would need to be provided with for everything to run smoothly before they got there. Sherry is always responsive to texts whenever I was freaking out about needing to make a quick change to the plans. She brought me a pint of sweet potatoes for me to take home after the wedding just to hit the spot :)

    I cannot say enough good things about Mojo's. I mean from the first e-mail, first meeting, everything was so professional. Sherry made us feel like we were the only wedding that mattered. She was exceptional! Sherry was always available for questions, any changes we needed and so nice! The food was amazing, the presentation amazing, everything was spectacular! Our bartenders were very attentive and so was the wait staff. They helped us with the snack bar and desserts. I would recommend them above anyone else. I got told multiple times it was the best wedding food they had ever had. I am still very impressed with their professionalism, desire to help and great service. Thanks Mojos!

    Mojo's catered our wedding on October 23rd and our guests were blown away! I knew that Mojo's is the ABSOLUTE BEST BBQ IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA (I know, cuz I've tried them all), but our guests were unaware. Well, if they didn't know, now they know! They came from Tampa and Jacksonville and Orlando and Connecticut and they don't want to eat any BBQ that's not Mojo's now! The food, was, of course, ridiculously incredible, like always. The service, though, is what really made it the "Best Day Ever". @Sherry Fasano was our server and she was phenomenal! She arrived exactly on time and got set up in a flash. She was super attentive to the buffet and even bussed the table for us! She opened beer bottles and wine bottles and cut our wedding cake for free! She was so pleasant to work with and we would hire her again without a second thought! And you wouldn't believe how inexpensive it was! Especially for the quality! Seriously, if you're thinking of catering any event at all, the food and the service cannot be beat!

    I was one of the brides that had all of my vendors picked from the moment I said "YES!". Unfortunately my caterer at the time shut down and I was left two months before the wedding with no food for my guest! Everyone I spoke with was beyond my budget. Then I contacted Sherry at Mojo's BBQ. From the moment she answered the phone I felt a weight lifted off of my shoulders. She was eager to help and make my smaller budget work beautifully. Later that week we had a tasting with my parents and fell in love with the food. After that Sherry kept in contact to make sure all of my needs were met and offered any additional decor she had to make sure it looked amazing. Our BIG day had finally arrived. What made it more special is Sherry and her daughter were able to work together and they treated my wedding as if it were their own. The Mojo staff went above and beyond my expectations. They had delightful fun personalities and even helped the other vendors and wedding planner with candle lighting, cake, set up, clean up, and so much more. Til this day my guest are contacting me telling me how amazing the food was and that it was the best BBQ they have ever had. It was truly the best day of my life and I would highly recommend Sherry and her staff at Mojo's BBQ to cater any event! Thank you again for making that part of planning a breeze!

    MOJO's exceeded our expectations in every way imaginable. We were seriously blown away by the quality of the food, the service and attention throughout the planning process, and the staff's professionalism and willingness to make certain our wedding was perfection on the day of. We cannot thank them enough.

    It's worth mentioning I am a wedding photographer. I've done over 500 weddings and I've really seen it all. I'm rarely impressed by wedding food. Ours was truly amazing and all our guests raved about it for weeks after. It was unique too, which was nice.

    We worked closely with Marissa and Sherry and they could not have been more helpful, thorough and kind to us every time we spoke.

    You won't find a better experience. I recommend MOJO's 100%

    First off, we love Mojo’s and eat there often. Then one day while eating there, we were trying to figure out who to use as our cater for the wedding. We already had a couple of bad experiences talking to some local vendors and I was pretty upset over the prices and the way the people talked to me, I didn’t feel like they really cared about what I wanted and they wanted to rush me. They also gave me the impression they just wanted my money, I’m not stupid nor do I like being treated as such. So while sitting there at Mojo’s, I said to my wife, what about these guys? She said that’s a great idea! So I got the number and called the catering department and spoke to an amazing, very personal woman named Sherry. She answered all my questions, even brought up some of her own ideas and she sounded excited to help me. Not once did she ask me about the money, I really liked that, I didn’t feel hustled in any way.

    I made a verbal agreement to use them but I didn’t know the exact head count or the amount of food needed. Sherry said, don’t worry, just give me a call and I’ll make it happen. I was worried that it can’t be this easy after everything else we went through but it was, it really was. On the day of the wedding, they came in while we were getting married, like ninja’s. We never saw or heard them, we got back and everything was setup, it was perfect. They kept the food hot and stocked, tea dispenser full, cleaned up empty plates and cups, still ninja like. They cleaned their mess, left a ton of leftovers covered and ready to go and snuck out the back door. My best-man had to catch them to tip them for their amazing job! Thank you Sherry and your Mojo’s team, we love you guys!

    Great food at reasonable price

    We used Mojo's for our wedding catering and they were fantastic. Many people raved about the delicious food during and after our big day. As far as wedding catering goes, they were by far one of the more affordable options I found. We also had them supply bartenders to serve drinks and they did a great job. Sherry was a pleasure to work with and answered ALL my questions over multiple e-mails and phone calls. They also supplied us with a free tasting to choose our menu :) They have earned customers for life from us.

    Everyone loved the food! Only complaint was that the wait staff wouldn't allow our guests to get more than one piece of chicken until others got their food. Ended up having an entire tray of each meat leftover.

    MOJO's provided food for or wedding and it was hands down the best BBQ I have ever had! The mac-n-cheese and chicken was out of this world. The servers and bartenders did an excellent job at keeping everyone well fed and happy the entire night despite the freezing temperatures. They provided tasteful containers for food display and serving. Sherri was very knowledgeable and personable but often difficult to contact. She responds better to phone calls and text messages than e-mail. There were a few instances where she said she would call me back and never did. She was accommodating to our needs and willing to work around our requests. I would recommend MOJO's to anyone who wants quality BBQ at a reasonable price. My advise is start the process early so you can ensure everything is in place just in case contact takes a little longer than usual.

    Good Food, average service

    I planned my wedding in 2 months so I had a very short time to book everything. Mojos had great reviews so I called the number on the website and they referred me to Alex who was over the Gainesville and Ocala FL area. I ended up scheduling a tasting at Mojo Hogtown, it went well we booked them to cater my wedding in December. A couple weeks before the wedding I tried to get in contact with Alex several times via phone. I called her office number and cell phone number and left messages. I never received a call back. I sent emails and she did respond but didn’t answer all the questions I had in the email. Finally, she answered the phone when I called a week before the wedding. I was trying to add something to my catering order for my vegan guests she said she would get back to me but I didn’t hear from her. I ended up sending her an email saying to keep the order the way it was because I was over stressing over the menu. The day of, the food was good. I didn’t see Alex there, but the servers were nice. The only issue I had was the servers were supposed to buss the tables but they were in the kitchen and my guests ended up throwing their plates away. That’s fine, but I was told the servers were going to do that. I had to ask my aunt to go find them to clear the tables.
    Based on my experience I wouldn’t book with Alex again. The customer service and communication wasn’t good and was very stressful. The food was great and my guests enjoyed it.
