  Perfect Wedding Cake!

  We’ve been fans of Moio’s for a long, long time, and we knew they would be the perfect bakery for our wedding. The tasting process was fun – although, to be completely honest (and greedy)…we would have loved to try bigger slices of each cake, lol. We appreciated that they worked directly with our florist to provide fresh flowers on the day of our wedding. It was the perfect touch!

  Above and beyond service, luxurious cake

  A big big thank you to Tony Moio! My family has loved Tony’s cake and pastries for years and it was an honor to be able to eat his cake on the day of my wedding and be able to share it with my husband’s family.
  
  Tony went above and beyond to make sure we could have his cake for our big day. When I called him (a little late in the game due to postponed wedding COVID planning), he was already tight the weekend of our wedding, but he squeezed us in! We just had to do the pickup / delivery which was not a problem for us. The cake was a simple, beautiful 2 tier accompanied by sheet cake. The almond, white batter cake was tender and light and the fillings (fresh strawberry and cherry nut) were perfect. Tony was even able to include a separate slice of cake to accompany a birthday shout out and a small nut-free cake with yellow batter for our guests with nut allergies.

  Cherry Nut Filling is a MUST

  Amazing wedding cake! We just recently had Moio's Italian Bakery create our wedding cake (6/12/21) and were very pleased with how it turned out. Tony was wonderful to work with and created a beautiful, delicious wedding cake. We got many compliments on the cherry nut filling!

  Amazing, beautiful cake! Yum!

  Tony is incredible. The cake was DELICIOUS and exactly what we wanted decoration-wise, even when we asked for a very specific type of tropical look. Just gorgeous detail work and so freaking yummy!! 15/10, you will not regret picking Tony and Moio's!! Go do a tasting!

  The best wedding cake you’ll find in pittsburgh

  Tony was awesome to work with! The cake is sooo good. Everyone absolutely LOVED it. They still tell us how much they loved our cake and how they normally can’t stand wedding cake. It’s so moist and full of flavor. The icing is perfect! It’s the perfect mix between a buttercream and a whipped cream.

  Tony is the best in the business!

  Thank you so much Tony for creating a beautiful AND delicious cake for my wedding. Too often you see beautiful cakes that taste stale or plain, but not here-- Moio's pastry is so easy to work with, I didn't even have to worry about it! Thanks again!

  We were so pleased to have Moio’s create our wedding cake. It was truly a work of art and went far above my expectations. We ended up going with a white birch tree decorated cake with cherry nut filling. YUM! Part of my husband’s proposal included carving our initials into a tree so the fact that Tony was able to recreate our engagement day meant so much to us. It was simply beautiful and the cake was SO delicious! Many of our guests complemented us on the cake as well. We could not recommend Moio’s ENOUGH and we are so pleased with their service!

  Get your wedding cake at Moio's! Tony made a delicious and beautiful skim cake (or half-dressed cake) for our wedding, and our guests loved it (we did too!). He executed the design perfectly, and the almond batter/fudge filling cake was very tasty. It is going to be hard to wait for our anniversary to get into the cake topper! In addition to the cake, we got some Moio's cookies to fill out our cookie table, and they were great as well. Thanks Tony!

  Tony Moio made this such an easy time. We went to his bakery and ordered the cake. He insisted we take a 6" cake for free. An entire cake. He was the only one that did that! We were on the boarder between a large and medium sized cake. We ordered the larger but only needed the medium. He adjusted on the fly and gave us a price break for the smaller cake. It was the best cake I've ever had at a wedding. And they've been in business for a long time. Tony's dad did my father's wedding cake 51 years ago. Best Cake in the City.

  Piece of Art Piece of Cake!! Moio's provided the cake for our daughter's 5/27/17 wedding. Perfection!!! Tony met with her via Facebook since she and her husband are active duty military and live out of state. His creation was everything she hoped for! Beautiful and delicious! They delivered our wedding cake and made sure it was beautiful. It looked like something out a fairy tale, simple yet very elegant. I would highly recommend Moio's for any occasion.

  My husband and I choose Moio's for our wedding cake and it definitely had to be one of the best decisions we made. Tony was absolutely wonderful when we went to have a taste testing. Originally I wasn't planning on going with white cake, but I heard such great things about it that I wanted to try it. Taking a bite of the samples he gave us were heavenly!   Don't get your cake anywhere else. Tony Moio is the best. I will say it again because this review is so short- Moio's wedding cake is the best. Don't go anywhere else. Also the customer service there is amazing, Tony was so great to work with.

Well, they didn't disappoint! That's for sure! I haven't stopped hearing how good the cake was! And it was like Tony and the crew read my mind! The cake was stunning! We will be using moios again in the future for sure!!!

From e-mailing Tony, to our consultation, to cutting our cake on our wedding day - everything was simple, smooth, and perfect. Their cakes are delicious, and the decoration just beautiful. We chose a layered white cake with raspberry buttercream filling and white cake with a lemon cream cheese/buttercream blend filling. They were both incredible. We are so glad we didn't bother looking any where else! The team is fantastic, friendly, and accommodating. We will definitely be sticking with Moio's for all special event cakes in the future!

He didn't pressure us to overspend and helped us find a suitable option for our budget - a two tier cake with sheetcake for the rest of our guests. The cake looked beautiful (ombre coral with gold sparkles in the rosettes) and tasted even better! I'd recommend Moio's time and again!

  We had a non-traditional wedding cake - it was GERMAN CHOCOLATE ...with extra pecans --and made in personalized size to complement our Italian cookie mementos. The décor of the cake was OFF THE CHAIN... with crystals to match our décor. This bakery just out did themselves and comes highly recommended!
