Fall Wedding
We had my daugher’s wedding at Mohican Gardens this past October 2023. Keith was very helpful and responsive to all of our questions especially since we were nervous about the planning process. The venue is beautiful and has lots of photo options. My daughter’s ceremony was outside and it had rained earlier that day. I loved the idea that we could easily move the ceremony inside if needed. The greenhouse reception was absolutely beautiful at night and I am still getting comments on how nice it was. I highly recommend this venue! -

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
Mohican Gardens was a great choice for a summer wedding venue! Keith and Mary were very friendly, professional, and fun to work with during the wedding process. The abundance of flowers in the conservatory decorate the reception on their own so a ton of flower decorations are one less thing to worry about! It’s a very unique and beautiful place to hold a wedding :) -

We had an amazing wedding at Mohican Gardens in June 2022. The owner, Keith, was responsive and helpful to my husband and I. However he was extremely rude and unprofessional to our venders (you have to hire all outside venders here, including bar staff, caterer, coordinator, everything). I really don’t leave any reviews if I can’t give 5 stars but I feel this should be put out there for future brides and their venders. I was very disappointed in his treatment of my coordinator in particular on my wedding day and then to my calligrapher on social media by leaving a very unprofessional comment on her post of the work she did at the venue because she chose the wrong location. Just very demeaning, condescending and unkind to others in the industry.
The venue could also use some work/updates. Some of the areas I saw on Instagram where other photographers took amazing photos were now in disrepair and littered with trash. The parts we had the wedding at were fine but some of the grounds surrounding the area have been neglected.
Overall the venue property is gorgeous, it’s just unfortunate to feel the need to leave a less than perfect review over the treatment of wonderful venders who made my wedding day and this venue everything it could be. -

I will start by saying this facility is pretty, however what happened at the reception was only described as a Brides nightmare. Right after the reception started it started to rain really hard. Suddenly water came pouring in the middle of the building. Guests were scrambling to jump out of the way. Our pastor was sitting right by where the water came pouring in. I was literally in shock. It was obvious this didn't take the owner as a surprise. The drains were backing up with water and there was standing water on the floor. The "dance floor area" had a door wide open that was never closed with rain. coming in. This wasn't a regular door we could just close. We were originally told we could decorate the day before only later to be told no because "things would get damp". They were cleaning while we were trying to decorate. They wouldn't open any windows or turn on fans during the day while decorating and pictures were taken. Everyone was sweating. The groomsmen had to leave the facility to get dressed due to the dirty back room that was hot and had mouse poop in it. The Brides dressing room had mouse poop present also. I rented the facility for the entire day only to find a rehearsal going on in the barn that I was never told about. After that a bridesmaid walked into the dressing room only to find two women from that rehearsal making out, after they had trashed the room. They left behind a jacket and prescription glasses. I complained to the owner the next day, he apologized and said he would investigate this. That was 2 weeks ago. I never heard anything. There were so many negative things that happened that day. This is only part of it. I will never recommend this facility. -
