I can’t say enough how great Mohawk River country club was. From day one Sal went above and beyond for all my requests and accommodations. He had an answer or solution to any questions we had and made the planning, preparing and day off all run smooth. He is prompt, professional and very friendly. The food at cocktail hour was outstanding and all our guests raved about it. We had an indoor ceremony since it was a January wedding and it was beautiful inside. Book this venue, you won’t be disappointed! -

We had the wedding of our dreams in September at the Mohawk River Country Club! I don’t know where to start but simply put, choosing this venue was the best decision we ever made. Working with Sal and Stephanie was so easy. They were professional, knowledgeable, and kind. The entire staff was the same and we cannot begin to express how grateful we are that they helped to create the wedding of our dreams. Also….. the food is amazing and your guests will not be disappointed. -

Best decision we made!
Our wedding at MRCC on October 3rd, 2025, exceeded every expectation! From start to finish, the experience was flawless, and I can't praise it enough. Our guests were absolutely captivated by the beauty of the ceremony, and they couldn't stop talking about how wonderful the cocktail hour and dinner were. The fact that the open bar was included and we could create our own signature drinks added such a personal and fun touch! The bridal suite was a dream! So spacious and beautifully designed. We didn't get to use the grooms suite, but in hindsight, we really wish we had!
A huge part of what made our day so special was Sal. He was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. He always replied to our emails promptly and made us feel welcome to visit the venue whenever we wanted. Sal was so accommodating to all of our requests, big or small, and his attention to detail was impeccable. He was always nearby if I needed anything on the wedding day and helped us plan EVERYTHING!!
I could go on and on about how perfect our day was It truly was the best day of my life! I wholeheartedly recommend MRCC to any couple searching for a beautiful venue that includes exceptional food, a fantastic open bar, and the invaluable support of Sal. If you want an stress-free and unforgettable wedding, we 100000% recommend MRCC! -

We had an absolutely perfect experience at Mohawk River Country Club!! Sal and Stephanie were a dream to work with, along with all of the other staff the day of our wedding. Sal was extremely responsive to any questions, and the planning process, as well as the day of, were so smooth and stress free. It was such a relief to be working with a venue that was not only gorgeous, but also made all of the logistics of the wedding go as perfect as possible. Sal, Stephanie, and their staff took care of everything and we were really able to just enjoy our day. On top of Sal and Stephanie being a pleasure to work with, the experience at the venue itself is just wow!! The grounds, the inside, the FOOD!!! Everything was absolutely beautiful and all of the food was delicious. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. Not only was our experience as a couple perfect, but our guests have been raving about their experience there since our wedding. We can’t thank them enough for executing a perfect wedding day for us! We cannot recommend the Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau enough! From the moment you pull into the parking lot, this venue takes your breath away. The fountain out front sets the tone for the elegance to follow, and as soon as you step into the lobby, you’re greeted with champagne—a perfect start to the experience!
One of the standout features of this venue is its amazing setup. There’s a separate room for cocktail hour, which was truly incredible. Even before we booked, we had heard that this venue is known for having the best food, and we can wholeheartedly confirm that’s true! The selection was outstanding, with options ranging from passed hors d'oeuvres to chafing dishes, buffet-style items, and even a live carving station. There’s something for every guest to enjoy. And the drinks? Equally amazing!
The ballroom is stunning, with a gorgeous chandelier, beautiful lighting, a spacious dance floor, and large windows at the back. The flow of the room is perfect, with a large bar in the same area, so everything feels connected. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! While the cocktail hour food was phenomenal, the main course was just as delicious.
The venue’s beauty isn’t limited to the inside. Outside, the grounds are just as spectacular. While we opted to have our ceremony off-site at our church, we took advantage of the venue’s brand-new pond in the back for photos. Our photographer captured so many stunning shots, and our guests loved the picturesque landscape for their own photos. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating just off the ballroom, which was perfect for guests to enjoy some fresh air throughout the night.
The bridal suite was another highlight. It was spacious, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for getting ready. We had a large group—8 bridal party members, 2 moms, 4 hair/makeup artists, and 2 photographers—and there was still plenty of room. The suite is beautifully designed, with ample counter space, natural light from the windows, and comfortable seating, making it ideal for both preparation and photos. Sal even provides champagne and a full lunch when you book the bridal suite - it was perfect, so we weren't hungry throughout the day!
The staff truly made our experience unforgettable. Sal and Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to making our dream wedding come to life were unmatched. Planning from out of town could have been challenging, but Sal made it so convenient for us to schedule appointments when we were in town, which we really appreciated.
Everything about this venue was incredible, and we can’t thank Sal and Stephanie enough for helping us have the best day of our lives. If you’re looking for a venue that is beautiful inside and out, with amazing food, top-notch staff, and a space that will wow your guests, look no further than the Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau. We highly recommend it! -

Sal & his whole team at Mohawk River Country Club do an amazing job. Not to mention the space is absolutely beautiful and the food is delicious. The newly built pond in the back adds another nice touch. My now husband and I have been getting so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue is, how awesome the food is, and on Sal himself! My dream wedding came true. -

We just had our wedding reception at MRCC on June 21st and I cannot say enough good things about Sal and Stephanie and MRCC. Our wedding reception was absolutely PERFECT. The venue—also PERFECT. The owners and staff—even more PERFECT!! I remember when I first started wedding planning, one article I read was to find a venue that is always updating/finding new improvements/additions. Sal and Stephanie do just that. They have made so many beautiful additions to the venue even from when we booked the venue last year until our wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning.
Of course, we’ve received so many compliments from our guests (and especially our families) on the quality and amount of food, the bartenders, and overall just how much of an amazing time everyone had in a beautiful atmosphere. With my husband being Italian, food was an incredibly important part of our wedding for my husband and our families. Everything was so delicious and amazing. Both the late night to go option and international coffee stations (thank you Sal!) were a huge hit with all of our guests. Amazing, amazing, amazing.
On a personal note, I cannot thank Sal and Stephanie enough. They were always so kind, thoughtful, and always quick to answer my million questions—putting my mind at ease. They went ABOVE AND BEYOND in more ways than one to make our wedding literally a dream. Our wedding day truly did exceed all my dreams.

The absolute BEST wedding venue hands down!!! My husband and I got married here in June. From the first time we toured the space to leaving on our wedding night, Sal and his wife Stephanie made the whole process seamless. The space itself is stunning, from the bridal/grooms suites, spacious cocktail hour/ballroom, and beautiful grounds. Through every step and with all of our details, Sal was extremely accommodating to ensure our vision was brought to life. The food was so delicious, and the amount of food was insane! The entire Mohawk staff was so professional and everything flowed effortlessly throughout the night. We truly could feel how much Sal, Stephanie, and the Mohawk staff care about their work, and they made us, our families, and our guests feel like we were top priority. We are still receiving messages from our guests as well about how wonderful the venue is and how great everything was. We cannot thank Sal, Stephanie, and the entire Mohawk staff for everything to make our wedding experience nothing short of the best. HIGHLY recommend, you will not regret it! -

My husband and I had our wedding here on 5/2/2025. We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with both Sal and Stephanie. They are both very easy to work with and they respond to emails in a very timely manner. They are also very accommodating. My mom was on hospice and was unable to move on her own. They moved a couch from the foyer to the ballroom incase she needed to lay down. They also allowed us to have a Geri-chair delivered to the venue for her. Now onto the food. There is SO MUCH FOOD offered! All of it is phenomenal! It has been a week and a half and our guests are still talking about how perfect our day was. Everything about our day was perfect! Truly a fairytale wedding! -

We cannot recommend MRCC enough! Sal and Stephanie were AMAZING to work with from the moment we stepped foot into the venue for our tour to the morning after the wedding.
Our entire day was perfect, Sal anticipated every need we could have had. We always had food or a drink in our hands!
The planning process, meetings etc. were so seamless. It was the best decision ever to have our wedding there.
The bridal and groom suites were SO special and it was a stress free morning / afternoon getting ready there.

The perfect venue!
My husband and I got married at Mohawk River Country Club on Sept. 13th, 2024! Our entire day was beyond perfect. There are so many amazing things to say about Sal and his staff at Mohawk River Country Club. Both my husband and I had zero stresses throughout the process of planning our wedding day with Sal. Anytime we met with Sal, he went through everything with great detail and answered any questions or concerns we had! He had a very thoughtful process with the days leading up to and the day of the wedding. You can tell he truly cares and enjoys taking care of his couples. On our special day, Sal would check in on me and my husband periodically (we got ready at the venue in the bridal suite upstairs and groom suite downstairs). He made sure we had whatever we wanted or needed each time he checked in. Sal was a built in wedding coordinator in our eyes, what would we have done without him?! My husband and I were able to enjoy some of the cocktail hour with our guests, and every guest kept saying how it was the best cocktail hour they’ve ever been to! They loved the food so much and attentiveness from the entire staff! The atmosphere during the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, was beautiful. It’s been almost two months and we still continue to get compliments about how fun and beautiful the day was and how great the food and open bar was! This is all thanks to Sal and every single staff that is a part of Mohawk River Country Club. My husband and I would suggest this venue to any couple who wants a breeze of a wedding day and wants to focus on having fun and making memories! We both say we want someone we know to get married there so we can enjoy from a guest’s point of view! Our special day exceeded our expectations and wish we could hit replay! -

We started the wedding planning process without fully knowing what we wanted our day to look like but after touring the Mohawk River Country Club and meeting Sal, we immediately knew this was where we wanted to get married. Sal had an answer and a plan for every question or unknown we had. While offering solutions, he also made it clear that there was flexibility in every decision and that we could really make the day however we wanted to. He was incredibly responsive and helpful over the roughly 1.5 years of planning, all while being a really cool person who we were excited to work with.
The venue underwent some BEAUTIFUL upgrades in the time between when we booked and our wedding day which was awesome. A Groom's Suite was added which looks amazing, and the outside ceremony location was redone and I cannot even describe how beautiful this new space is. We lucked out and were able to have an outdoor ceremony on November 2nd!!
Everything is taken care of at this venue which really lessened the stress of wedding planning. We loved the all-inclusive per-person pricing as we didn't have to make even more stressful decisions. Our guests raved about the food (cocktail hour and the plated dinner) and fully enjoyed the open bar. We were able to go in and decorate the venue the day before, just before having our rehearsal, and did not have to pack up anything after the wedding. All of our things were packed and ready to be picked up Sunday morning after our hotel checkout time. We had full access to this venue the whole wedding weekend (this might not be the case if other weddings would have been booked the day before or after, but this was our experience), and they truly made us feel so special. We really felt prioritized and it meant so much to us. Sal and his wife Stephanie were absolutely amazing and were available to us throughout the entire wedding day- tracking down certain guests needed for photos, bringing cocktail hour food up to us in the Bridal Suite when we were getting my dress bustled, tracking us down to let us know our dinner had been put on our table, getting us drinks if we needed them, moving our ceremony florals into the ballroom to decorate our sweetheart table... they truly made this day perfect and we cannot thank them enough.
Again I say, if you're thinking about this venue, book it! You seriously will not regret it and your guests will have the best time. We hope to get invited back to a wedding at MRCC in the future! -

If you’re looking to get married this is THE venue to do it. Sal was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and made sure everything went smoothly on the day of. It’s probably an understatement to say this was easily the best day of our lives thanks to the wonderful staff at MRCC, everything transitioned so smoothly you couldn’t tell they were even there. Our guests continued to tell me all night how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was, and more than a few told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. WOW- We cannot thank Sal, Stephanie, and the Mohawk River Country Club crew enough for making our wedding the most perfect day. From the beginning, Sal was ready to make every wedding vision we had come to life. Every vision we had, Sal worked to make it happen. From the all day bridal suite, the FOOD, the cocktails, to the fire pit and the sparkler exit, everything worked out perfectly all thanks to the Mohawk River staff and crew. Since our wedding, we have heard nothing but amazing feedback from our guests regarding the venue. They loved the inside & outside setup, the food, the drinks, and the dance floor. As a bride & groom, we felt heard and supported throughout the booking process, and were definitely supported by Sal & Stephanie the day of our wedding. They were there for anything we needed that day. They assisted with the set up & clean up, and communicated everything with us regarding our wedding decor. If we could do this day all over again, we would pick Mohawk River Country Club again & again. Our only wish is that we get invited to a wedding at this venue so we can experience it all over again. Walking into Mohawk River Country Club, we were immediately captivated by the stunning decor and modern ambiance—it was everything we had envisioned for our wedding day. Meeting Sal, the manager, sealed the deal as his personable and easy-going demeanor made us feel right at home. My Husband and I held our wedding at Mohawk River a week ago. This was easily the best decision we could have made to ensure our day was as special as we imagined.
We worked with Sal to plan the event leading up. Sal is extremely knowledgeable and caring about the family's business, and helped guide us through the process with ease. Anything we requested or had questions on, he was quick to respond whether it be via phone or email, and he was very receptive to any ideas we had.
My husband and his groomsmen used the new Grooms suite and we couldn't say enough good things about it. The pool table kept them entertained and the food Sal brought them while they got ready was exactly what they needed. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect and the lighting was amazing which made makeup and hair prep easy. Again, Sal ensured we both had whatever we needed and that started from the moment we got there.
After ceremony, Sal and his wife Stephanie made sure we were well taken care of for the entire night. They brought us drinks and made sure we got to try all of our appetizers from the incredible cocktail hour. Our guests were in disbelief with the spread provided. We have been told all week how amazing this was.
The one piece that truly stuck with me, Stephanie told my husband they had a certain tequila. When she went to pour one for me, she realized they were out. He was not worried about this one bit and carried on. About 20 minutes later, she came over to him with the tequila she had mentioned. She left the venue and went to get a bottle of it for him! This BLEW us away. We have both worked in many service roles throughout our life, and can say this was the most sincere display of service we have ever seen or received. Seriously, thank you again!!!

Wedding of my Dreams
From the second I walked into the venue I knew it was the one! I absolutely loved how the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all had their own space. It felt very glamorous! Both my husband and I got ready in the bridal and grooms suites which I highly recommend they had everything you could ever need and looked amazing. Our outdoor ceremony was absolutely gorgeous with the trees in bloom and all the flowers Sal made sure he had planted for our wedding. Guests could not stop raving about cocktail hour. Dinner was delicious, the ballroom looked stunning and the drinks were flowing. From start to finish it was the wedding I always dreamed of having and more beautiful than I imagined. Sal always made sure we had one of our signature cocktails in hand and was there to help with anything we needed. I would recommend Mohawk River Country Club & Chateau to anyone and everyone! So many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Our wedding day was truly perfect in every way possible. -

Having had the privilege of DJing at Mohawk River Country Club, I'll personally attest to its magic as a wedding venue. It's more than just a picturesque setting; I've watched magical moments come to life here. With its stunning indoor ballroom and vibey outdoor gazebo, couples have a beautiful canvas to paint their dream wedding. The staff's attention to detail helps make our job easier as wedding DJs. One of the many benefit of this venue are the breathtaking views of the golf course and Mohawk River. Whether it's an intimate affair or a grand celebration, Mohawk River Country Club & Chateau sets the stage for a great day.
My personal favorite part of working here is how over the top the cocktail hours are. I've never seen anything like it at any other venue. The amount of high quality delicious food is jaw dropping.
Love the venue manager as well, he is a great leader to his amazing team.

All we can say is, wow!!!
My husband and I got married here last weekend and we were speechless about how it all went. From the moment we looked at the venue in fall of 2022, we knew this was the venue for us. The bridal suite is absolutely stunning and made me feel like a princess all day! All of our appointments with Sal before our wedding went so smooth, and he was so accommodating to anything we wanted and wished for. He and his wife Stephanie made sure us girls were taken care of during the day getting ready and then took great care of Alan and I all night of the wedding. Since we took so many pictures after the ceremony, we didn’t get to join much of our cocktail hour, so they graciously put some on plates for us and put it at our table so we were able to eat it. Everything was SO delicious and our guests were raving about cocktail hour and dinner all night long! There was SO MUCH food and being foodies ourselves, was important to have great quality and choices on our special day. The entire day ran so smoothly-the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, cake cutting, dances, and toasts, that I would choose Mohawk River over and over again. This is THE PLACE to get married! -

In August 2023 my daughter and now son-in-law tied the knot and celebrated their wedding at Mohawk CC & Chateau. It was a PERFECT day from beginning to end! I am not even sure where to start!! The staff were phenomenal and accommodating; no wish or desire went unfulfilled. Stephanie assisted me with finding a local bakery (I live in Brewster, so needed a local bakery) and kept the cake a "secret" from the bride and groom (it was a Buffalo Bills themed wedding cake) that made the surprise so sweet when the cake was wheeled out! The food during the cocktail hour and dinner was beyond anything we could have dreamed of. Delicious doesn't even begin to describe how delicious the food was....guests and family still talk of the food to this day. The wait staff were like ninjas....you never saw them, they were never intrusive or in the way, but plates and cups were always whisked away and we never know by who. The bridal suite is just heavenly and so spacious; it helped us all relax and enjoy the hours before the wedding. As the parents of the bride, we also have dreams and desires when our kids get married. Our every dream as parents came true this evening. I cannot begin to thank Stephanie and all the staff for making this day so special and memorable. Thank you seems like so little, but Thank You Stephanie and staff for the beautiful and wonderful memories that we will have forever and will always treasure. Elegant, Fun and Beautiful
We had our wedding here and I would choose this place again in a heart beat. They are a one stop shop, making planning and coordinating so easy. The space is so beautiful, minimal additional items were needed. Our guests LOVED the cocktail hour, food was amazing. The fire pits outside added to the space allowing additional areas for people to gather. Sal and Stefanie were so attentive, they anticipated our needs all along. The flexibility to make the day your own was also important. They created a beautiful head table that sat 22 and let my friends carry out a tradition that brought a lot of laughs. I cannot write enough good things about MRCC. Wedding planning is stressful as it is, my husband and I had a vision for our wedding that truly came together the day of. Sal and Stephanie helped us every step of the way with the fine details, making sure my husband and I had eaten, and making sure we captured every moment of our day that we wanted. They had recommendations based on their experience which were incredibly helpful. Our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the venue was. At the end of the night Sal and his wife helped CAREFULLY pack up all of our decor and it was ready for us to pick up in the morning. After the first meeting with Sal and Stephanie, we knew The Mohawk River Country Club was our venue. With the numerous questions my husband and I had to changing things last minute, the entire process was always joyous and with great ease. Sal was so on top of everything that going into our wedding day, we felt calm and confident that everything would go smoothly. Due to weather, we had to make a game time decision on indoor or outdoor ceremony and after choosing to do it indoor, the entire reception hall was transformed in 15 minutes to a gorgeous ceremony location. We had a friend play during the ceremony instead of our DJ and everything went off without a hiccup. Food, drinks and laughter were never ending and no one had an unfilled glass of water, coffee or alcoholic beverage. Our guests were beyond astonished with how much food comes with the wedding package at the Mohawk River CC. 150 out of 10, my husband and I would recommend to any couple choosing a venue with beautiful scenery and an easy ride through the wedding planning process. From the moment my now husband and I stepped foot into the venue, we knew that this was going to be our wedding venue. Our gut feeling was further assured after meeting Stephanie and Sal and seeing what was offered at their venue. Stephanie and Sal have been AMAZING to work with!! We did not have a wedding planner, and we did not need one with how well Stephanie and Sal supported, planned, and coordinated the whole night. We were able to go into our wedding day feeling calm and confident that everything was going to run smoothly. The day of, they were checking in on us, made the transitions of the night seamless, and help continue to coordinate till the very end! They were also so collaborative with our other vendors, making the entire night flawless! Lastly, Steph and Sal are so personable, helping our parents with surprises up their sleeves as well. The wait and bar staff was also amazing!! Debbie helped us prepare/set up the day before and made sure the drinks kept flowing the night off! The food was also incredible!! Our guests keep telling us how amazing and delicious the food was, and how attentive and quick that wait staff was. It has been a month since my wedding and the guests are ALL still talking about it being the best wedding they have ever been to! Sal and Stephanie are the most amazing people to work with. I did not have to stress about anything. I cannot get over the attention to detail they both have. I only had to ask for something once and it was immediately taken care of.
When you tour the venue, it already is the most beautiful space you could imagine, and then when you go and it is set up for your day it is somehow even more magical. I still don't know how they do all that they do, I am just in awe.
Our day was truly a fairytale to me, and I know that is because of Sal, Stephanie, and their team. Thank you to all the staff at Mohawk River!!!

We could not be happier with our decision to have our 10/7/22 wedding at the Mohawk River Country Club! Our guests had an amazing time and raved about the atmosphere, cocktail hour, and overall attention to detail. The lavish cocktail hour and delicious dinner was a meal fit for a king!
Stephanie, Sal, Deb and all of the staff were there from start to finish making sure the day went off without a hitch. Their presence kept everything organized and flowing smoothly the entire night. Their calm confidence is a quality possessed by few. They were so kind, helpful, and professional and we are so grateful to have had them as part of our special day.
The beautifully renovated bridal suite was wonderful to get ready in with my bridal party and was a very relaxing environment. It also made for stunning pictures! The golf course is well cared for and a beautiful way to start a wedding day as well! All in all, we couldn’t imagine a more perfect day at a more perfect place. It was elegant, yet comfortable. M.R.C.C. made our best day ever effortlessly possible!

We were so incredibly happy to have had our wedding reception at Mohawk River Country Club and Chateau. It was the perfect venue for our September 17th wedding.
We couldn't have been happier with the service. Deb truly went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. Deb, Sal, and Stephanie were extremely professional, welcoming, kind and made sure everything was perfect. We are so grateful to how attentive they all were!
They recently updated the bridal suit. This is where the bridesmaids and moms got ready. It is absolutely stunning and made for the perfect getting ready pics with the bridesmaids and a nice place to hang out with our bridal party.
The reception space is BEAUTIFUL and the perfect size and layout. We were very impressed with the wait staff - they were professional, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed.
We are foodies! And could go on and on about how delicious the food was. The cocktail hour is slamming! There is so much food included. We mingled with our guests during cocktail hour because we did not want to miss out. Everyone was raving about all of the food and how delicious it was!
We also added the dessert bar onto our package. If you add this onto your package, they reopen the cocktail hour area and have a plethora of desserts and dessert drinks! If you have a sweet tooth, we highly recommend this! Everyone loved this!!
We couldn't be happier with this venue and highly recommend it. If you decide to have your event at Mohawk, you will be in EXCELLENT hands!!! -

I would absolutely without a doubt recommend Mohawk River Country Club! My husband and I just got married here Set 25, 2022 and they made it perfect! The venue, the employees were the best!! the Bridal Suite is so beautiful and let me not get started on the food! O-M-G delicious. I was taking a while to get my dress bustled up and Sal made sure he brought me plates of food so I didn't miss cocktail hour, Debbie made sure I had a drink in hand and not miss a thing. Choosing Mohawk River Country Club as our venue was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. Deb and Sal are exactly who you want on your team during the planning process and at the actual wedding. They helped make the wedding planning process fun and enjoyable. They answered all our questions, let us tour the venue many times, and helped us set up for the wedding. During the wedding, they were always there when you needed them, helping to make sure any small problems that came up were fixed, making sure we ate food and had drinks. Our guests during and after the wedding kept raving about how professional and helpful these two were.
As for the venue itself, it's stunning! The bridal suite is beautiful and great for getting pictures. The cocktail room and ballroom are beautiful. The outdoor area is ideal for pictures!
As for the food, your guests will think they died and went to heaven! Every guest we spoke to couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the food! The cocktail hour was to die for and the dinners are cooked to perfection.
Choose this venue, you will not regret it! -

Overall great experience!
We fell into MRCC as a venue and we’re so glad we did! After an absolutely awful experience with another venue, Sal and Deb went way above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable! Everything they coordinated went well - food was great, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating, and the bridal suite looked amazing. Our guests raved about how great the cocktail hour was, especially the food. Sal and Deb accommodated all of our guests dietary needs and made their experience great! It’s a family run venue, and it’s clear through their actions and their culture that this is something they truly value. We felt like family and met amazing people through our interactions. -

From beginning to end, Rafael and Debbie did everything in their power to make everything look and run amazing and smooth. They are quick to respond to emails and voice mails, and can help with every detail. I am in graduate school, so I was even able to drop all of my stuff for them to set up 2 weeks before the wedding before my semester started! It really took the stress off wedding planning while in school knowing it was taken care of. Also, my husband's military orders changed our original date, and they were more than willing to be flexible and help us pick a new date that worked for us. The food there is amazing, everyone left the wedding stuffed. The venue includes food, open bar, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, along tables and chairs, linens, the ability to rent center piece stands and other commodities as needed. They even have a photo booth that you can use if you go under your minimum price required! My husband and I were highly satisfied with our wedding, and I was so glad to have Rafael and Debbie help me plan the wedding, as my husband was on military orders for our entire engagement.Mohawk River Country Club & Chateau's reply:

As soon as my husband and I visited this place, we knew we wanted our wedding there and it turned out to be everything that we dreamt of! Debbie and Rafael were so helpful along the way and were always there to answers our questions or concerns. They met with us as often as needed, and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the planning process and on the day of. On our wedding day they made sure that everything went smoothly and perfect as it did! The food was amazing and all of our guests cant stop talking about the cocktail hour and dessert room! We mostly worked with Debbie, except one day we did deal with Rafael, and both are absolutely incredible. I have not been to many weddings in my adult life, but I don't think any other places offers the exceptional personalized service that Debbie and the staff offer here. We spent two years planning our wedding, and Debbie has been nothing but extremely helpful the whole time we were planning. We often called, emailed, or stopped by during those 2 years and she always made time for us and never made us feel like we were bothering her. She treated us like family and in return she feels like family to us. She bent over backwards and even threw in some extras for us without us even asking her, and I felt like she truly could not do enough for us. The day of the wedding, she was constantly present for whatever we needed no matter what it was (tissues for our parents, scissors to trim my bouquet, etc). The weather was uncooperative but she did everything in her power to make sure I was happy and she made sure to deal with all of our vendors' questions and concerns so myself and my family did not have to. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and our guests have not stopped talking about it, even a week and a half later. The food was phenomenal, and don't even get me started on the Parisian table dessert display. My guests had their jaws on the floor when they saw that. We got so many compliments on how wonderful everything looked and how great the food and service was. I would highly HIGHLY recommend this place, my wedding was everything I could have ever asked for and Debbie and her staff are the reason it was as magical as it was! -

Debbie and Rafael were AMAZING. From the first meeting in October to right up to the day-of in June, Debbie was my GO-TO Girl!!! It was SOOOOOOO nice to not have to worry about a thing for the duration of our time at the Mohawk River Country Club. The entire staff (with the leadership of Debbie and Rafael) ran like a well-oiled machine! Of our 130 guests, a majority made a point to let us know that this was BY FAR the BEST wedding they had been to...EVER! From the beautifully arranged garden ceremony with the annual flowers, green grass, brick isle, and central gazebo - to the amazing food offerings (CRAZY cocktail hour stations and passed hoursd’oeurves, professional dinner service, out-of-this-world dessert room), the BEAUTIFUL ambience, and the accommodating staff...our ceremony and reception were PERFECT! My photographer (Tom Bryant, with Photo Phrame Photography) and DJ (Claude Sawyer, with La Boom Entertainment) each let me know that the MRCC was at the top of their FAVORITE venues to work with/at.
The value of the staff attentiveness (to wedding party and guests) and the incredible venue and food displays makes this location a TOP RIVAL to anything the popular local catering/wedding venues even come close to offering!!!
I would recommend this venue, staff, food, service, etc. to ANYONE within 3 hours of Rexford, NY!! -

I loved that all my guests had a place to sit during cocktail hour (a rarity!), that we had the venue all to ourselves for the entire day, the bridal suite was awesome, the helpfulness of Debbie was amazing, and it's a gorgeous land scape for taking wedding photos. I would highly recommend this venue if you love feeding people until they can't eat any more! I wish I could do it all over again because it was so great. -

Deanna Sent on 11/20/2011I am so glad we went with Mohawk River Country Club for our reception site. It was gorgeous. The food is excellent. Debbie and Raphael are awesome to work with. They include a lot for the price, for example chair covers, flower petals, an amazing cocktail hour, champagne, tealights, etc. As soon as we arrived, we were catered to. We had champagne on ice in our bridal suite. We took pictures near the beautiful pond and wooden bridge and the waiters were bringing us food from the cocktail hour. That was really nice because we were hungry, but had to take pictures so they fed us from the start. After pictures, I let my bridal party go to the last half hour of cocktail hour so they could enjoy themselves. They brought so much food upstairs in the bridal suite for me and my husband we couldn't even finish it. I love that at MRCC you are the only event for the entire site. There is no one else enjoying their special day around you. Other places we looked at said that there might be another wedding upstairs or downstairs, I was very turned off by that. Our day was very warm and beautiful for October, we had sunshine and 78 degrees, so we got to take advantage of a bonfire outside, a lot of our guests really enjoyed that. I was inside dancing the whole time, thanks to DJ Vinny Vin of nonstopmusic, but many guests said they liked that. I also love the fact that there were so many beautifully decorated tables for guests to sit at for cocktail hour, tables inside and outside. Who wants to stand around and eat with a drink and plate in your hand?? After the wedding, people were telling me that that was the best wedding they had ever been to. Thank you Debbie and Raphael! -

The food was delicious, the people were friendly and attentive and I would absolutely get married there again! (to the same guy of course!) Everyone was RAVING about it and still are :)
