Amazing work and budget friendly

Robert was AMAZING to work with and budget friendly! We got married back in September 2025 in Pacific City, OR. We are a very laid back couple and he just seemed to match out vibe! Easy to work with, very flexibly, kind, and patient! He answered any and all questions I had and came up with beautiful locations to shoot on our big day! Photos came back in record time and he absolutely captured our perfect day!

The best photographer ever!

Robert was absolutely amazing! Planning a wedding even as small as ours can be stressful. Robert made it easy! He was early and more than willing to hike up a mountain to get great pics ! He is so easy going and made the awkwardness of pictures disappear :) He made us laugh and guided us to ensure we captured all the moments of our special day! If you need a photographer I would 10/10 recommend Modern art Photography !

The Peeks Wedding

Robert Knapp is THE most amazing photographer ever!! He captured my wedding so perfectly. Not only did he make all my visions come true, he had incredible ideas of his own. The ONLY regret I have is NOT booking him for longer. He’s going to be my go to photographer for any occasion that comes up. He dresses well, is extremely friendly, comes to the bride and groom at the right times for any pictures and takes the most incredible caught off guard moments. WE WERE SOOO IMPRESSED BY ROBERT!
We used modern art photography for our vineyard wedding in Salem, Oregon. Robert was kind, patient and made us feel comfortable. His whole demeanor is soothing specially during an overwhelming event. Great responsiveness and intuition

Robert is so easy to work with. He was very communicative and able to anticipate what we needed. He took beautiful photos of our special day that will continue to be cherished for many years. Robert was also very patient with our two toddlers and was able to capture very cute photos of them as well.

Easy Experience, Beautiful Photos

We loved having Robert Knapp at our wedding, and we are so happy with how the photos turned out! At the wedding, Robert was a calming presence, allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our day, and offered a beautiful balance of providing direction and letting us lead. He just made everything so easy. And our families loved him! We had some staged photos, but mostly we were impressed by how Robert captured the moments as they were happening and the personalities of the people in them. Excellent!

Robert captured our wedding beautifully! He was super easy to work with and a pleasant presence at our wedding. We especially appreciated that he wasn't too directive and just let our personalities come through with lots of candid pictures. We needed some help with our pictures two years after our wedding and he responded quickly with the help we needed.

Great stuff. I am here for my clients. Things do get lost, damaged or we just decide to upgrade.

This might be boring but redundant backups are really important for wedding photographers. One copy in the cloud twice in the studio and your copies make at least four backups. Four locations where your wedding photos are kept safe in case you need them again is a comfortable place to be for something so important.

We loved working with Roberts, all my guest had nothing but good things to say. I got tons of pictures. Robert did such an amazing job being so professional and helpful when I broke down once I found out my videographer did a no show, after we had paid. I highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Modern Art Photograph. Robert was so great to work with! Very friendly and professional, and his prices can't be beat. He arrived early to my wedding venue to scope it out and was super familiar with the area. He had great ideas for shots, and was totally open to our ideas as well. My partner and I loved working with Robert! We started the search for a photographer pretty early and he was one of 5 that we met with in person. We met him at his home with our planner and he was both professional and warm. After we decided he was the one he wasted no time in going to our venue to plan the shoot far ahead of time (not promising this is his regular way of operating) but he tended to be very prepared in advance for everything.

The day of the wedding was awesome! He showed up far in advance and this may sound petty but he looked the part! He was well dressed and we love his style - he fit in perfectly with our guests. Neither my partner nor I feel comfortable having our photos taken and he made us feel confident. He had tons of great ideas for shots around the venue and was VERY creative. He found this grove of trees nearby and thought it was important enough to take us away from the festivities to grab a couple shots there and he was right. They turned out amazing and we love that he had the confidence to ask us to leave our guests momentarily for what we hired him to do!

We got a number of compliments from our guests on his kindness and flexibility - my family got a bit demanding with their own photo ideas and he went with the flow, was very accommodating, and he was always complimenting them with sincerity. He really made everyone feel wonderful!

We were happy with the photos. I was a bit surprised to receive ALL the photos and it has taken us sometime to go through them (still not done). There are some real gems in there that we've had framed, given as gifts, and posted to social networks all with great feedback. I do wish that he could have weeded through some of them as it was clear that every single photo (1000+) were worthy of saving but some people really like to have the control to which photos make the cut, which I get.

You mention a lot of great things about working with me here and I want to respond to a few.

Every wedding is different. Something like this might not work at all weddings. When the light is just right I will probably ask for a moment to shoot with you later in the evening. Low light in the evening is something we will only see once in the day. We should put it to good use. I am really happy you love those photos!

On average I take about 2000 - 2500 images at a wedding. Between blinked eyes, near duplicate photos and general curation the photos that make the cut will be about 1000 images usually. The best way to take in that many photos is by watching a slideshow. I would watch that slideshow several times. Most of the photos are there to help tell the story of the day. The photos we take the time on together are the wedding photographs you will treasure for a lifetime!
If you or anyone feels overwhelmed with that full collection I suggest watching the images in a slideshow and If that remains overwhelming I am happy to help curate the collection down to the best of the best for you.

Modern Art Photograph is simply phenomenal. Besides being exceptionally easy and enjoyable to work with, Robert was highly attentive and never missed a shot. In fact, my family and I still talk in awe about how you would be thinking, "let's find the photographer to take a photo," then you turn around and he is right there. All together, he was always present but never in the way. Plus—and most importantly—the quality and quantity of photographs were extremely high. Great point here, bride and groom are different, each bride and groom expect something a bit different from the wedding photos. Some want only documentary style, some want only posed photos. Some know and communicate what they want, some find art difficult to talk about.
Giving a blend of styles is helpful.
Going with the flow and listening to the bride and groom is always helpful.

Robert with Modern Art Photograph is an incredible photographer! Aside from his phenomenal talent, he is such a great guy to work with. He was willing to spend all day with us at our engagement shoot, and those photos were so great. Before the wedding, he went out to the venue to check it out, look for photo locations, and connect with the wedding coordinator. On the day of, he showed up right on time, and jumped right in. He had ideas for photos, and would also shoot photos that we had given him as inspiration. All of our wedding party had great things to say about Robert; he was professional, helpful, and great with the kids in our party! The photos themselves were amazing; the turnaround time was about a week and a half, but he put a sneak peek of photos up on his Facebook page less than 48 hours. We really liked Robert Knapp's work online, and we loved his prices, which are unbelievably cheaper than the other photographers we contacted. We decided to book him on the spot after meeting him at his studio and being impressed by his affability, flexibility, and quality work. Neither of us particularly likes to be photographed, but we loved having Robert as our wedding photographer. He instantly put us at ease and got great photos from both of us, and he was great at wrangling our family members into excellent photos. Robert was ever-present but unobtrusive at both the ceremony and reception. His photos capture what is unique about each of our friends and family members, and he has a great eye for setting up a striking photograph. And he got our photos back to us lightning-quick! We will treasure reliving many happy memories as we flip through them. We can't recommend Robert highly enough.

Robert is an awesome photographer with a great eye. My wife and I came to Portland, OR to elope and luckily my wife's chosen photographer bailed on us and we ended up working with Robert. We met at his house about a week prior to the elopement to get a feel for each other. Robert is easy going and accommodating. My wife and I both dislike posing and prefer random, candid pictures, he listened and we got a perfect set of pictures of our elopement.

By far, Robert has been the Best photographer we have ever worked with !!
Robert was so kind, and made us feel at ease from the time we met with him and every time since.
He was so efficient at knowing what would make the photograph look its best. He's quick, and has such a good eye for all the details big and small.
His response time is impeccable . Whether it's just responding to a simple question, or being able to view our photographs.
We were able to view our Engagement and Wedding photographs within a couple days, and then any touch ups were then done and sent back a couple days after, Within about a week we had our photographs. We've never had that experience with any other photographer. It's exciting to be able to get them so soon.

He definitely made us feel important, and we are excited to have such amazing pictures ! !

My Wedding and the events prior would not have been the same without Robert from Modern Art Photograph. Robert was incredibly flexible and willing to work with our schedules and requests-even though I was completely scatterbrained. Robert was great. Everybody at my wedding loved him and the photos were beautiful. He even met me at 6 in the morning to do a trash the dress shoot. I will definitely recommend him to my friends.

Robert was simply WONDERFUL! I booked him for my sister's small wedding on the Mckenzie River in May this year. He went above and beyond to plan and take the most amazing wedding pictures I have ever seen. This sounds like hyperbole - but I mean it! Weeks before the wedding he went down to the site of the ceremony and scouted spots for pictures and came up with a plan for whisking the bride and groom off to take pictures while we set up for the wedding. The bride said the time taking pictures was probably her favorite part of the whole day they had so much fun. And he truly captured both of their personalities in the pictures... the groom absolutely hates having his picture taken, but Robert made it so enjoyable he had fun and you can see the joy and love in every photograph. My husband and I are expecting our first baby this fall and there is no doubt who we will use for all the baby pictures to come! We got more than our money's worth with Roberts skill and equipment - there's not a bad photo in the bunch (of 1000!). I would highly recommend Robert for anyone looking to have their moments captured candidly and beautifully.

My little technique works like a dream, especially for grooms who are not too keen on the idea of photos to begin with. We're just out to have some fun. No overthinking it. The camera is just along for the ride! Before you know it we have some photos that actually show a person's personality.

Robert was great to work with - extremely responsive when setting up plans and very flexible to our input. During the wedding he took some great photographs and was there all day with us. He was completely unobtrusive during the wedding, yet somehow found ways to get just the right pictures. We were married at Edgefield and Robert wandered nearly the entire property with us looking for little hidden gems of a setting to get some excellent shots. Robert is nothing short of a magical! He is the consummate professional, from the consult to the wedding day to the timely delivery of the photos. I have seen other photographers at my friends weddings and I have to tell you he is honestly the best one I have come across. With each group of people from the wedding party to the guests to the family, he knew exactly how to quickly put everyone at ease and get the best pictures. He has an amazing eye for locations and seeing how some of the shots turned out I was so impressed by the framing. I have hundreds of amazing photos from my wedding which I will always treasure, I couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

I think one of the things that makes Robert so easy to work with that on top of being an amazing photographer, he is a genuinely good person and cares about his clients needs and vision for what they want out of the pictures. I cannot recommend him enough.

Yes! Yes! Yes! I LOVE working in a big crowd and can discretely capture everything going on with hundreds of people around.
Between experience and my gift with a camera I am confidant working the largest weddings on my own.
Having a staff running around with cameras and lighting equipment really changes the cost and feeling of your wedding into a movie set. Guests don't want to be interfere with your vendors and can pull back. The photography is important but should not come at the cost of the party itself.

My smaller impact on the event offers me greater opportunity for intimate documentary style wedding photography. The really best wedding photography in my opinion.

We had Modern Art Photographer do our wedding and couldn’t be happier! Great personality, very professional, easy going, very affordable and an overall great value. We selected the whole day package- which was a great because we got every moment of the day. He showed up while my bridesmaids and I got ready and stayed til the very end of the night! It was nice not worrying about hourly cost or overtime cost that we were running into with other vendors. The quality of the photos were beautiful - unbelievably vibrant and clear! The nice thing, the photos were ready by the time we got back from our honeymoon, we didn’t have to wait for weeks or months to see them. He was also extremely accessible- replied to emails almost instantaneously, always willing to meet with my then fiancé and I for random meetings and willing to do customization of the photos and packages long after the wedding.

Overall he was a great vendor that we plan on using in the future for anniversary or family photos!

Date flexibility is only really for non-wedding shoots. Wedding dates are contracted for most wedding vendors and have no flexibility. With a non wedding shoot, sure. If there is bad weather for a date we select for engagement photos for family photos it makes sense to reschedule. I am happy to help make things easy for all involved.

Modern Art did all the kinds of photos we wanted for our big wedding day and more! We gave our photographer samples of what we liked and he did exactly as we asked. He came out to the site to scope the angles and get ideas weeks beforehand. We also provided him a list with the combinations of photos and he made sure that he went down the list and got all of the combinations of the wedding party and family that we wanted. The photos of the ceremony were phenomenal and he captured every minute of the hour long ceremony. We can basically relive the moment by looking at each photo and remember which part of the ceremony it was. We asked that he do a private photo shoot with the bride and groom, the wedding party, the extended family, and artsy photos of the rings, boquets, etc. He had many different lenses and lightings he used and knew exactly when and where to use them. Modern Art was very responsive to our needs and very directable/flexible. I highly recommend this company to anyone having a major event or wedding. Robert is easy to work with and very open to your ideas. I got exactly what I was looking for in Modern Photography.

Robert is a great photographer who approaches an assignment both with professionalism and care. One of the hardest things to find as far as vendors go, is someone who is readily available. Robert answered all of our questions and addressed any concerns the same day. During the photoshoot, he made us feel comfortable and took great photos. We also got our pictures back, edited, within a few days of shooting both for the engagement pictures and wedding pictures. You definitely get your money's worth and more. I cannot speak highly enough of Robert Knapp and Modern Art Photograph. He did a beautiful job on our engagement photos and took our breath away on our wedding photos.

He was so professional and flexible. He woke up at the crack of dawn to photograph our pre-wedding crossfit workout! He was there when my bouquet was delivered, and it was different than what I had expected, and he was so kind and reassured me that it looked great. Every person in the wedding party kept telling me how much fun our photographer was and how excited they were to see the photos.

I also cannot believe how fast he got our photos back to us.

His creativity is incredible and he worked so well with our videographer as well. He used an amazing blend of photo journalism and posed pictures. I would recommend him to anyone, and I can say without a doubt that I will use Modern Art Photograph for all of our future photography needs.

I had met with several photographers before meeting with Robert (Modern Art Photograph), but my search ended there. Not only is he one of the most pleasant people i have met, he is also very professional and courteous. After meeting so many overly arrogant people within this industry, it was so refreshing to sit down with Robert over a cup of coffee and have a great conversation about the wedding and what we were looking for. A few things to remember about Modern Art Photograph when searching for a photographer:

1). He does not have any time restraints! I challenge you to find another photographer that works like that. He did our engagement shoot and our wedding and both were all day events that we paid a flat rate for (not hourly)

2). His prices are great. He actually said to me that he felt some in his industry were charging ridiculous amounts and he would rather book an event every weekend and be doing what he loved than raise his prices.

3). You OWN the rights to the photos and can do whatever you would like with them. He will send you a DVD of all the photos and you don't have to buy prints. That being said, should you like he will put together a beautiful wedding album for you and your family at a very reasonable cost.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience and we love our photos. He captured the energy and emotion of our special day and we are so grateful. Highly recommended!

3, Owning the rights, YES, you and I share the rights to the work. This is the only thing I would shop for. I am happy to provide this to my clients.

Robert was awesome for our wedding!! He showed up at my folks' house and didn't even bat an eye when I told him us ladies were hardly even ready enough for "getting-ready" photos. We were behind schedule all day and he just went with the flow the whole time and got most of the pictures I wanted without me even noticing! During the reception, he blended seamlessly into the crowd and got some wonderful candid shots of everyone. He was easy to talk to, our bridal party felt instantly comfortable so we were able to get some really fun pictures. He also had our pictures up on his website after only a week--amazing!

It was a pleasure working with Robert from Modern Art Photography. I live in Hawaii and we arranged everything via email and phone. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. He was an amazing photographer, produced the most gorgeous pictures, and felt like an old friend--not a total stranger. Robert was incredibly easy to work with and did tons of extra work, scouting our destination wedding site the week before our event (and he didn't even charge any travel fees for any of the travel he did). He made us feel comfortable and free to do what we needed on our wedding day while capturing every moment. We never felt forced or posed...it all was very natural and turned out fantastic. So much more than we ever imagined. Thank You!

I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful Robert was! We eloped to Oregon and so I did all my research online. I ordered a package that included an engagement shoot and a wedding shoot. Robert picked us up from our rental and took us all around the city for our engagement shoot. He was extremely patient and personable. He made us really comfortable and we were super glad we did the engagement shoot because it made the wedding shoot an even more comfortable experience... On our wedding day, Robert came to the coast and spent the day with us at our venue as well as in different locations along the ocean. By the time we left we thought of him as a friend. He gave us access to our pictures within a week and allowed us to tell him what edits we wanted. The pictures look great! He really did a good job capturing our personalities through the photo! I really wish I knew more people in Oregon so I could refer Robert to all of them! You can't go wrong with choosing him to be your wedding photographer!!

Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is a big decision and I am so happy that we hired Robert to be the photographer for our wedding! He was so attentive, professional, positive, funny, and creative. Before the wedding, whenever I would email Robert, he would get back to me almost immediately. His prices were outstanding for the value and fit into our budget. There were no hidden fees. Since he had never been to our venue before, he took the time before the wedding to scope out the place together so that we can make sure to not miss any photo opportunities during our wedding day. My husband and I are a little camera shy so I had a little bit of anxiety of having our photos taken all day. Throughout the big day, Robert made us feel so comfortable and we could feel like ourselves. We had so much fun during our photo shoot and the pictures show it! When we got the pictures, soon after the wedding, they turned out so beautiful!! I was so surprised on how many photos he took and how wonderful they turned out! He captured EVERYTHING! Throughout the ceremony and the reception, he caught a lot of beautiful candid moments while being so inconspicuous. I didn't feel like the camera was in my face the entire night. It was great! I couldn't be more happier how the photos turned out. They were absolutely beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Robert Knapp and his partner Carrie. We started out with an afternoon engagement shoot in Portland that included unlimited time, outfit changes, and locations. They were really able to get us relaxed and comfortable, so that we looked like ourselves in each picture. No cheesy, overly posed pics! Robert and Carrie really went above and beyond to get the perfect shots, even stopping traffic on a busy street in NW Portland so that we could get trees with twinkling lights in the background. Fast forward to the wedding, where they blended in yet found a way to capture all of the details and mood of the event. Now we have an abundance of beautiful, flattering pictures; there are so many I like that I am having trouble deciding which ones to make prints of. Another positive: Robert and Carrie understood that we are both busy professionals, and were completely flexible around our schedules, even though they live on the other side of town. I would highly recommend these photographers, and will definitely use them again in the future.

We have nothing but positive things to say about Robert and Carrie. They did an AMAZING job for us!! Robert is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and it shows. He helped us to choose beautiful spots for our pictures and was so flexible with our schedule on the big day. They managed to maintain the perfect blend of doing some minor directing (to be sure we got some of the important shots) without seeming intrusive in the least. Everything went really smoothly and we have the most memorable moments captured - it was perfect! The images are so beautiful and rich with color! I love what they did with the light during the day and once the sun went down.

They also had our pictures ready VERY fast - I have many other friends who have recently been married and had to wait way too long to receive their images. Robert had ours ready only days later!

Robert is a phenomenal photographer. My husband and I researched a lot of photographers before choosing Robert. He incredibly documented every aspect of my wedding. His professional and courteous manner allowed him to work with everyone from my 3 year old niece to my 89 year old grandfather. My husband and I loved having Robert do our wedding photos. Robert was very nice and worked with us on what we wanted for our photos. We were both really comfortable with Robert and his assistant carie. Both Robert are carrie were really nice. They came early to the wedding so I wasn't having to stress about if they would be there on time and they stayed until my husband and I left. I really recommend them to other couples for photos.

Robert and Carrie did such a great job photographing our wedding! They were respectful, flexible, and most of the time I didn't even notice they were there. My husband and I met with them a few times before the wedding to build rapport and so they could make sure we were completely comfortable with what they would be doing on the big day. For the quality and pricing of his photography, MODERN ART/Robert Knapp deserves HERO status for his unlimited time commitment first and foremost. Secondly, Robert and his co-photographer Carrie were confident, unobtrusive, mixed in well with our guests, and actually spent hours studying our requested photography style (a very difficult and artistic style) the day before our wedding, so our objective was fresh on their minds. They handled our impromptu requests wonderfully, were very humble, and took direction as well as courteously gave direction. The results were that we ended up with some astounding photos that we will truly be able to treasure for the rest of our lives. Compared to some other top-rated photographers in P-town we met and evaluatedGO WITH MODERN ART PHOTOGRAPH, especially if you want a great price and have a style to accomplish beyond just your square-meal-deal of frilly flowers, lace and liquid sunshine jelly wedding pics (though he will do that just fine too). Lastly, Robert did an excellent job winging it for us even though we personally ran out of time to provide him with a written list of requested shots: clearly he has the experience to produce what most couples are looking for. Ceremony held: Grace Bible Church, Neo-Gothic, downtown PDX, May 9, 2009.

Robert was with us all day from the preparation to the end of the reception. Occasionally he set up some formally posed photos but for the most part he was just there working in the background. At first I was concerned that having a photographer would take something away from the experience for our guests. However It was clear once Robert began to setup that his unobtrusive style and well mannered approach was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you for everything Robert. Robert at Modern Art Photograph was great to work with. From the first meeting, he showed flexibility and a true interest in what he does. It was easy to schedule with him and he was right on time to "day of". He has an easy-going personality and made everyone feel comfortable. He had good ideas about shot locations, and was also receptive to our ideas. There was about a 2 week turnaround for getting the digital files, but he gives you sneak peak first. Interview your photographer. You want to be sure you feel comfortable with him or her, and that you can entrust them with capturing your special day. Also, I recommend taking your wedding party and family pictures either the day before or after the wedding, so you have more time to relax and enjoy your wedding.

Wedding day and engagement shoot

I absolutely Modern Art Photography. Robert was so helpful through the process. We had so much fun at our engagement photo shoot and Robert went above and beyond with his creativity, finding locations and time spent with us. Robert was also wonderful on our wedding day. He was professional but felt like family. Also big props to him for kindly spending the morning with all the women in my family to ensure we got the getting ready pictures.

The only recommendation I would give would be to bring examples of the poses that you want. I love the natural beautiful candid pictures that we have. But I don’t have the specific posed wedding party pictures or one on one bride and groom photos.

A solid piece of advice by far. My shooting style is all about making sure people are comfortable and feel welcome through the whole photography process, just like family. Some photographers call it candid, some call it documentary style, some call it photojournalist style. Once people are comfortable, they feel free to be themself. It helps me do my best work.
If there are styles or poses you want I just need to know. I can do anything with this camera gear and a bit of time to work my magic.
Knowing the creative direction of your wedding photography seems a bit overwhelming for some. It's as easy as looking at lots of wedding photos and seeing what you like and do not like.

I would highly recommend Robert as a wedding photographer. He was able to make the venue and all of our guests look amazing. No posed pictures here, just very natural and organic shots. Looking at our pics, you feel like you were there, which is exactly the feel we wanted. I only wish we could get married again just so that we could have more pics taken. He also came up with some great shots of our rings and vows that I never would have thought of. We couldn't be any happier.

A $500 loss for nothing, but privacy is more important.

We feel played so please BE AWARE! If you value privacy of “your” photos do not use Robert Knapp of Modern Art…

DON’T BE FOOLED - It may be in writing all over his website, “you own the rights to your wedding photos”, however that ownership gives no control over his use of the photos. As soon as we realized his contract gives him full authorization to use the photos he takes we were mortified. We tried to reason w/him for the opportunity to review photos of people/ kids only before he posts them to social media, websites, or shares otherwise and he refused - the photos are his. More worrisome - his website has so many photos, so many private moments kids, family.

We are paying for our entire wedding. Working with so many good people and so confused and devastated that paying a photographer a premium to photograph all that we paid for to build our day, to share w/friends and family - he can take and reuse for his purposes. Robert should be paying us to model, the flower lady, the cake lady, because there is no photo w/out the subject!

So here we are - foolishly paid the $500 deposit to reserve the date and within a few cold winter days of receiving the contract and going back and forth there was zero progress. Given there would be no peace of mind for our privacy, we refuse to sign the contract and even though Robert had invested only a couple email - he refuses to return any of the $500.

Don’t miss this statement in Modern Art Photograph’s contract, “Unless otherwise specified, it is understood that any and all rights to proofs, final or sample prints, thereof shall remain the property of the studio and may be used for advertising, display or any other purpose thought proper by the studio.”

Yes, we tried desperately to reason and “otherwise specify” the terms.

Modern Art Photograph's reply:

Deposits are not refundable. Once booked I am telling others that I am booked for your date.

You asked me to rewrite the legal language of my contract after booking. I don't do this.

Photographers use their own art to promote themselves. This is an industry standard. No client would gravitate to a photographer that had no images on their web page.

I have worked with many clients who cannot have their face shared publicly for many reasons. This is not a new or unique request. I take the privacy and safety of all my clients seriously and communicated this in multiple emails and a telephone call.

There is a misunderstanding here between owning the copyright and owning the exclusive rights to the photography. Owning the copyright gives the client free use of all the images. Owning the exclusive rights bars the photographer from their own work.
