Elyse and Sunny helped maker our day literally the best day ever. We hired Elyse as a partial planner, highly recommend as it’s helpful to know she’s got your back AND she helped us find our caterer, DJ and photo/video package. All of our vendor teams were woman led and that meant the world to us. Elyse is patient, composed, and extremely knowledgeable. She let us actually enjoy our day - hands down best investment ever and i am so grateful for her support -

We had the incredible fortune of having Elyse as our wedding coordinator, and we are so grateful that we chose her and Modern Aisles to manage the details of our special day. Despite hiring her for day-of-coordination only, she exceeded all expectations by going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our wedding was executed flawlessly.
Elyse impressed us from the outset by taking the time to meet with us multiple times, demonstrating her commitment to understanding our vision and making it a reality. Her meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess became evident as she diligently followed up on all the loose ends in the days leading up to the wedding, making sure all the preparations were on track.
Beyond her exceptional organizational skills, Elyse possesses a remarkable blend of warmth and professionalism. Her genuine passion for her work shone through in every interaction, making us feel not just like clients, but like friends. It was evident that she genuinely cared about making our dreams a reality and that dedication was truly invaluable. She stepped in and helped when we had to find a new caterer at the last minute, offering support and reassurance and looking up recommendations.
On the day of the wedding, Elyse and her assistant Cody were nothing short of phenomenal. They were the epitome of efficiency, effortlessly managing every aspect of the event. From coordinating with vendors to managing the intricate details of the decorations, they were everywhere at once, ensuring that every element was perfectly in place. Their seamless coordination with the DJ, catering team, photographer and other key people made the entire day perfectly executed.
Thanks to Elyse's unwavering dedication and hard work, we were able to enjoy our special day without having to worry about logistics. From start to finish, she was there to ensure that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to savor each moment with our loved ones. She even stayed late and put away decorations and rental equipment so we could enjoy our reception and not have to worry about clean-up when we were trying to leave for our honeymoon.

Elyse is great! She was the day-of coordinator for our wedding in June 2023, but "day of" isn't accurate when you count the months of super helpful emails, zoom calls, and walkthroughs ahead of time. In particular, we wanted her help with vendor recommendations that would fit our vibe, and the team she helped us craft was fantastic! Elyse took care of everything on the actual day of the wedding, allowing us to have a truly magical day where we could live completely in the moment. Last but not least, Elyse is mother-approved! -

Recommending to Everyone!
We used Modern Aisles for our wedding planning/coordinating. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we wanted a vendor that could help us as well as understand us. This is a queer owned business, and they did just that. Sunni, Elyse, and Paula all listened to us, and helped us plan an amazing wedding! They were always responsive, communicative, and thorough! We had several last minute minor emergencies on the day of the wedding, and Sunni and Paula went above and beyond to help us get them solved. It was an amazing experience to work with them, and we are forever grateful that they helped us make our special day special. I would highly recommend them for your wedding planning and/or coordinating needs! They are nothing short of Amazing! -

WOW! I was soo impressed with the Modern Aisles team!
We had originally booked Elyse, when we needed to move our wedding for the 2nd time in 2020. We originally had a venue that included all décor, we had so much flexibility (we could bring in our own bartender/cater) and could fit our big party of 200- and it was being torn down. We wanted to find the perfect venue for us, at the same time that all the other brides were trying to move their 2020 weddings and all the newly engaged brides needed to find venues. On top of that, we now had to think of: Décor, food, bartenders, etc- you can imagine the overwhelming feeling of panic!
We met with Elyse, and we knew immediately that we were a perfect fit, she was kind, thoughtful and understood our situation and the overwhelmed feeling we had. Once we hired the Modern Aisles team, they jumped in to help and make the planning of our big day perfect. Sunni created a beautiful mood board, and they understood exactly what our vision was and could communicate it better than us. They provided us an inventory list, and would check in with us throughout the planning to make sure everything was going to plan. Elyse joined us for our walk through, brought great questions and suggestions. Now.. this all would have been perfectly enough.. but that wasn’t it…
On the day of our wedding, not once did we question the team’s ability to execute. Our family drove up to the venue with the décor, and then didn’t have to worry about anything else. The team set-up, took down, day of coordinated, did a mini-rehearsal to ensure everyone knew where to go and when- but most of all made sure that we took moments to soak in all the beautiful chaos. Whenever there was something that was needed Elyse was the on-it, made great decisions and if she wasn’t quite sure and needed to have a decision from us- she always provided her suggestion (which took so much thinking out of it). Elyse is able to perfectly walk the line of: Sincere support for our guests, while also having the ability to protect and advocate for us, so that we could enjoy our day. All of the people who were there with us throughout the day (our bridal party and parents) raved about Elyse and the crew. I cannot say enough about this great team.
I will forever recommend the Modern Aisle team. -

A day-of coordinator was one of our essential vendors for our wedding — our priority was the ability to be fully present and immersed in the feeling of the day, not coordinating last minute details, decor, and vendors. Over the course of our three year engagement and multiple postponements due to the pandemic we worked with three different coordinators (two went out of business), and are so glad we landed with Elyse / Modern Aisles.
Elyse was professional and organized throughout our time working together. I am a hyper organized person and tend to over-engage and worry a lot when it comes to planning — miraculously, Elyse kept my anxiety completely at bay and on the day-of I truly never stressed once! It was incredible knowing that we had someone making all the gears turn behind the scenes and that we could trust her completely. I even received compliments from the wedding party, family members, and our other vendors about how awesome she is.
I don’t think we would have had the same event without Modern Aisles! -

Elyse was the Day Of Coordinator for our wedding, and we continue to revel in the great decision we made to hire her. She kept every detail of the day thoroughly organized, giving us the peace of mind to focus on each other and our guests. We planned our own wedding, and Elyse put such care into understanding our vision and values. For example, she recognized the importance of creating a welcoming space for our trans and non-binary guests, and she had good ideas for how to arrange the venue to allow mingling. She also communicated exceptionally clearly about what information she would need ahead of our wedding day. We completely trusted her to carry things out on our behalf!
On the morning of our wedding, Elyse coordinated our set-up crew of friends and family in a friendly and professional way. During the reception, when my wife got a bit dehydrated in the summer heat, Elyse found a quiet space for her to take a break, drink some water, and eat some snacks. She checked in with us throughout the day about how we were feeling and helped us follow our timeline in a stress-free manner. We have already recommended Elyse to other people planning special events: she allowed us to have the best wedding day imaginable! -

We are so so grateful to Modern Aisles! We knew that we wanted to have a fully virtual wedding, but we also knew that we wanted our wedding to feel tailored to us, and we wanted to feel like our guests were taking an active part in the celebration, but we had no idea how to make that happen virtually. Luckily for us, Elyse had so many ideas. She helped us to create the ceremony we wanted, along with a mini-virtual reception complete with toasts, guestbook, photo-booths and dancing! During the ceremony itself, Elyse and Sunni smoothly handled Zoom hosting responsibilities, ensuring that the right speaker was always spotlighted and smoothly transitioning from one part of the ceremony to the next. After the wedding, Elyse and Sunni shared screenshots of the ceremony along with the full video.
We received so many compliments from our guests, many of whom commented that this was the best Zoom celebration they had been a part of!
We were alone in an apartment on the day of our wedding, but thanks to Modern Aisles we felt surrounded and loved by all our friends and family.
