Professional, great energy, full of wonderful surprises and spot on with wedding music environment. Made my wedding! I was recommended to use DJ Dopegod and MNE events by a close friend and I have nothing but great reviews. Blown away by how the team went above and beyond to make my wedding day special. Affordable and listened to what the audience wanted to dance to. We had photobooth included, both an MC and a DJ, the videoagropher and photographer were a surprise bonus. As a bride the small things they did is what blew me away. As a gift to us they created a personalized back drop using our wedding theme, on our first dance they brought out the fog machine and it truly felt like we were dancing on clouds. Gary was able to make us laugh, happy cry, and dance the night away on one of our most special nights of our life. Lastly both Mr. Gary and Chris were positive and respectful.

Gary and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They kept my guests on the dance floor all night long. They were responsive and completely captured the vibe I wanted for the night. Gary's (M/C) fun demeanor made all of my guests smile. Chris (DJ) played all of the songs that we wanted. Last but not least, Max (videographer) captured all of our precious moments. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone. -

We are so grateful we hired MNE events for our wedding in October. Gary and his team did an amazing job from our first meeting to the wedding day they were always responsive. Our MC Rob and DJ Chris DJ DopeGod knew how to get the party started and kept it going all night. They made sure our entire reception moved smoothly and also assisted with the photobooth! MNE events was such a big part of making our wedding as fun and as special as it was. I would recommend them to anyone in need of DJ, MC or photobooth services! -

We found MNE Events at a bridal expo only a few weeks into our engagement long before the wedding planning had even begun. Just based on the conversation we had that day with Chris and Toron, we instantly knew we needed to hire them for our wedding and never even considered hiring anybody else. A year later, we found our venue and immediately reached out to book our first vendor- MNE! From there we met Gary who was truly such a pleasure to work with. Their organized website and makes it very easy to plan every detail. Leading up to the event Gary was so responsive, so helpful and it was very clear that his main priority was for us to enjoy our day. He truly went above and beyond for us. Our day ended up being quite challenging, but due to the expertise and dedication of the MNE team, they kept the energy alive and it definitely would not have been nearly as much fun as it was without them there! Our guests loved our music, even my grandma got on the dance floor (!!) and everybody had so much fun with the photo booth. Best wedding decision we made was hiring MNE Events. Thank you guys so so much!! -

We booked MNE Events for our wedding and went with their full package—photography, videography, DJ, and photo booth—and we couldn't be happier with the experience! From start to finish, the entire team was responsive, professional, and so easy to work with.
Gary, the owner and our MC, was incredible. He kept me informed every step of the way and maintained excellent communication throughout the entire planning process. He made sure everything ran smoothly and helped keep the energy flowing on the big day.
Joe and Quan were amazing behind the camera—so kind, patient, and truly talented. They captured our day beautifully and made us feel completely at ease. And DJDopeGod brought the party! Our guests danced all night and haven’t stopped talking about how great the music was. The photo booth was also a huge hit and added an extra layer of fun to the reception.
We are so grateful to Gary and the entire MNE Events team for helping make our wedding day unforgettable. We’ll absolutely be recommending them to everyone we know! -

MNE Events is absolutely fantastic!! We had Toron as our DJ and Robert as our MC for our wedding and they did such an amazing job. They interacted with the crowd, kept everyone hyped, and kept the party going. They handled all of our song changes during our ceremony with ease and honored our song choices throughout the night. We had the photobooth in our package and all of our guests absolutely loved it! It was very easy to use and the props were great. MNE really helps to make you feel like you're royalty for the night and makes your event the best it can be. Toron and Robert even took videos of us and our guests throughout the entirety of the event, capturing moments we may have missed while being busy and helping us to savor the memories of our day and all the people we love who were there. A wedding is a big event, but MNE makes it feel like it's THE event of the century. You never feel like it's just another day on the job for them. Their immense passion for their work is infectious and much appreciated. They truly go above and beyond and I highly recommend MNE to all!! -

Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ crew and set up. With Calvin, DJ C-Smooth and DJ / MC Gary, G-Money Bass, our guests truly didn’t have a dry-eye for our ceremony and didn’t leave the dance floor during the reception. Our grand entrance and first dance songs were specially requested and made for us to perfection. Our guests also loved the photo booth! The transition and range in genres and tempos was exactly what we asked for but even better than we can have expected. They were entertaining and lively, engaging, and perfectly balanced letting us guide the night while also improvising and adding their fun and creative twists. Couldn’t have asked for a better DJ! I will always recommend and hope to utilize them for all of our future events. -

Life of the party!!!
We are so glad we chose MNE Events for our wedding!!! Gary was so helpful during the wedding planning process, and on the day of, our DJ Billy and MC Rob kept the crowd alive and on the dance floor! They were very detail orientated and made sure all of our must plays and special song requests got played. We also had the photo booth from them which was a hit with all the guests! When our ceremony got delayed an hour, Billy and Rob were able to easily adjust and didn’t miss a beat even though the timeline was now a mess. Overall we’re so glad we chose MNE Events! Highly recommend!! -

MNE events was beyond great I cannot say enough. They treated me like family from day 1. Gary was very flexible with me when I contacted him 20 months out before my wedding. Great packaging pricing and was available when I needed via text/zoom/email/call.
My actual wedding took place 5/5/23 at the Guilford yacht club. MC rob and DJ TMiz held it down. Rob brought tf he energy and the music reflected whoever was on the dance floor. Everyone got their taste of music. From hip-hop, pop and reggae and even some Spanish music for my Dominican people to get funky too. The photo booth was a super plus. No one was sitting down for my wedding. Even with literal last minute changes, the mne team was responsive and on it. I cannot thank you guys enough. Consider this team family now.

My wife and I got married 8/15/2022 and MNE professionalism was one of the best. Look no further if you want great music, beautiful setup from monogram to photos booths and plenty more. Truly amazing! They understood the assignment.
A garden wedding turned into an intimate family reunion. Despite the weather, Gary and his team were able to turn what could've been a gloomy day into a house party. From the first conversation to the detailed website everything went smoothly. Everything was perfectly timed. It was everything and more. MNE will definitely be there for all our future events. -

Chris and Rob were our DJ and MC and they were a blast. We had our whole group and family dancing for hours after dinner. They accommodated our request to have my brother play for our ceremony, micd us up for the main event and during the reception Rob was a fantastic MC who kept things moving and made sure people were where they needed to be. In addition we got the photo booth package and it was a hit - we chose the open-air booth and had it right next to the dancefloor which got a lot of traffic.
They went above and beyond, Rob even grabbed my dad's camera (with permission of course) and ran around taking photos of everyone so my dad could dance and enjoy himself - the shots were great!
If we did the whole thing over again we would use MNE in a heartbeat. -

The most amazing Experience everrrrrr!
Our experience with MNE was incredible! Not only did we plan for incredible music curated to my husband and my taste- but this was a collaboration for a major experience for our guests. They helped us plan lighting, were experts with sound and even helped my husband plan a few surprises for me that I had no idea about! We danced on clouds for our first dance and had fireworks shoot when we said I do.
We additionally had one of CT’s finest singers- Ru Williams sing at our wedding- all coordinated through MNE! So live singer and an amazing DJ from 103.7! The party was LIVE!
Not only will we never forget this experience, but our guests won’t either! -

This vendor was funny, interactive, on top of things and wonderful to work with. The cost for what the package offered was way below what others were charging and offered a lot more. Many guests have sang the vendor praise and asked for their information. Some have even asked the vendor at the ending of the wedding. -

Gary and Calvin were a huge part of our wedding reception and kept the entire evening running smoothly. They quickly coordinated with our photographer creating a seamless timeline of events throughout the evening. They were spot on with the announcements and music, and the photo booth was a huge it with our guests. I would highly recommend MNE Events to anyone looking for services that they provide. Although I was a basket case the few weeks leading up to the wedding, their continued reassuring demeanor was truly appreciated, and they certainly delivered on their promises. -

I could not have asked for a better experience! From the beginning they were responsive and timely. When i asked if we could stream the wedding live they were more than accomodating! On top of that when my mother passed away 2 weeks before the wedding they were more than accommodating to last minute changes I made including a special dance with my grandmother and a remembrance song for my mother. I couldnt recommend them more!
In addition to their dj they have other fun additions to your wedding such as a photo booth! -

MNE Events kept everyone on the dance floor!
MNE Events was a package deal included with my venue, so I'm not sure the exact cost of services, but I do know it was a good deal and affordable; because my venue package was! I got the full MC & photobooth experience and my guests had a blasts- everyone was on the dance floor the whole time- and people were texting and messaging me for days after my wedding saying its the most fun they have had in a long time! I HIGHLY recommend MNE Events. The CEO, Gary, met with me multiple time prior to my wedding and corresponded through email to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I also had them do the music for my ceremony. The only very, very small complaint I have is it did take them a few days to respond at first, as my email had originally gone to their spam folder; it happens- other than that he was usually pretty prompt. BOOK THEM! You wont regret it! -

Our budget was limited and we did appreciate MNE Events accommodating that when many DJ’s would not have. They were also very friendly. However, communication was spotty- there were a couple times when I had to reach out twice in a row before I got a response. And when it came to our actual wedding we felt let-down.
I know they were trying but I felt like the DJ wasn’t very experienced and wasn’t familiar with the general gist of wedding music until towards the end. We gave them a list of songs we really wanted to hear, and heard maybe half of them. We REALLY missed the others, which we’d cut down from a longer list because we didn’t want to be too controlling. I kind of wish we had kept all of them now. I had requested 90s pop, which we did get, but that included one sad, slow, breakup song during dinner- as if he wasn’t familiar with it. That’s just the last thing anyone wants at a wedding!
Our parent dances were set to just the first minute of music, instrumental portions that weren’t recognizable, and not their choruses. And I did assume- wrongly- that the DJ’s would play the part of the songs that are recognizable. I can definitely see someone having a more positive experience with MNE than we did in the future, but it would require a closer degree of management than normal— and when you’re wedding planning, you don’t really want to micromanage anyone when it seems like a certain basic level of professional intuition should be expectable.
When the floor opened up for general dancing, the first few songs were what my friends later described as “2000s hip hop/club music”, the only one of which I recognized was “Bringin Sexy Back” (not the right vibe at all). Nothing like anything we recommended. We and a small portion of our friends were determined to dance anyways and I didn’t want to hover over the DJ so I didn’t keep coming back, but I sort of wish I did because we missed some great ones, and there’s no re-doing your wedding. Most of our guests were not dancing, I didn’t feel like the crowd was being “read” well. It did get better towards the end as he got into our requests and the general wedding songs you expect.
Me and my new husband were both fairly disappointed overall with the service, especially when all the reviews I saw on their website were pretty favorable. I feel like I missed something. I hate being critical and causing anyone to have a bad day but I feel that honest feedback is important for them to improve upon for future events and weddings.
