Truly Stunning Wedding Stationery

Working with Madeline on our wedding stationery was such an amazing experience! We worked with her on our save-the-dates, invitations, thank you notes, and all wedding weekend stationery. Madeline is the best

I have only great things to say about Madeline. She is talented, friendly, and easy to work with. She not only did our invitations for our first wedding, but also did the postponement cards, invitations, and menu designs for the second iteration of our wedding after we postponed due to covid. My husband and I are not the most artistic individuals, but she was so easy to work with and walked us through everything with ease. We got so many compliments on all of her work from our guests. Highly highly recommend!

So very talented!

Madeline is so incredibly talented, I highly recommend working with her to design your wedding invitations and other printed materials! I came into the process not having a solid idea of what I wanted, other than knowing some of the colors I wanted to use, and she took my very vague guidance and turned it into the most gorgeous invitation suite ever. We had numerous people reach out to us to tell us how much they loved all the details of our invitation. One far-away friend even said they weren't originally planning to make the trip but after receiving the invitation they changed their mind! I am still so obsessed with all of our materials even after it's all over... (most definitely framing them!) and that is ALL Madeline. I could have never even imagined these perfect pieces on my own! I highly recommend working with her to take your vision (or lack of it as I had!) to the next level!

Excellent Service! Great Results!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the service and final results for our wedding announcement. We initially contracted with mlc designs for a save the date and wedding invitation for 75 guests. But, due to COVID we cancelled our wedding and got married privately. Madeline helped us to design an announcement to let our friends and family know we got married. Every element of the design is beautiful and works well together. Madeline is an absolute joy to work with. She’s flexible, responsive, has great ideas and does everything possible to ensure the final piece is perfect! I especially love that mlc designs is a full service provider! They handled design, printing, addressing, assembling and mailing the announcements. You can’t go wrong with Madeline and her team.

Gorgeous, Quality Work!

Madeline was the perfect choice for all of our paper needs. She was so easy to work with, and was so flexible and helpful. Our wedding invitations were absolutely gorgeous. Having never designed custom stationary before, I was nervous going into the process. Madeline put us at ease, using her creative talents to bring our vision to life. Everything was done on time, if not beforehand. We also used MLC for our "day of" stationary (custom napkins, menus, escort cards, table numbers, etc.). It all went together so beautifully. I cannot say enough about Madeline. She custom designed my invitations, wedding programs, and custom signage. She is so responsive and worked so closely with me through the entire process, from the first time meeting her she gave me so many options when I had no idea what direction I wanted to go in. She helped me pin down the perfect design and carried it through the entire process. She was always in contact and always communicated if there was a delay or let me know where she was in the process. For a picky, type A bride she made my life easy. We unfortunately had an issue with the invitations getting to out of town guests no thanks to the post office and she worked with me through that entire ordeal to get new invitations sent out right away, always keeping me in the loop. I will for sure be using Madeline for any invitation needs I may have in the future!

Designing my invitations, save the date, and day-of details was truly my favorite part of the entire wedding experience because of Madeline and mlc designs. Madeline was so easy to work with and immediately understood what my vision was and everything turned out better than I'd possibly imagined. Visiting her studio was so fun and she offered every possible option for customization. We ended up with an extra thick ivory invitation with a pink edge and turquoise letterpress. The envelopes were all custom colors with custom liners and each piece of the invitation had a custom design on the back tying it all together.

I had so many family and friends reach out and tell me my printed items were so beautiful and truly captured the spirit of our Mexican wedding and put guests in mood for the best fiesta ever. I recently went to a friend's house and saw they still have the save the date on their fridge months after the wedding because they loved it so much.

This was not the first time I worked with Madeline, so I've seen what a wide range of design she offers- from traditional, to modern, to rustic, to tropical she's truly an artist and is so wonderful to work with. I can't say enough good things about the experience- I'm just looking for reasons to work with mlc designs again and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Madeline was probably the easiest vendor we worked with in our entire wedding planning process. We came to her looking for short turn-around, custom wedding invitations and printed materials. She provided three different themes which were all beautiful and we moved forward with a lovely suite of designs. Everything was completed extremely quickly, beautifully, and she made pickup and sending a breeze. Madeline even folded, stuffed and stamped our invitations and mailed them for us! We had several guests praise us for our lovely invitations which were very unique compared to what I’d seen from any website or other designer and I’m sure I’ll be coming back to Madeline for future invitation/printing needs in the future. She’s amazing!

Madeline is one of the most talented professionals I have ever come across. In our first design meeting, I was instantly hooked with her design and atheistic. I used MLC Designs for my summer wedding. I had a unique two wedding weekend and wanted to ensure we had 2 invitations that felt cohesive while being mutually individual. I am not a bride who cares, but MLC was patient and worked with me to help me create my very classic invitation in the midst of my nonchalance. MLC actually got me excited about stationary and I absolutely love my invitations. I received so many compliments and they were literally the perfect entrance to my wedding! I knew from the beginning that I wanted Madeline to design our daughter's wedding invitations. I had seen her work at bridal shows and on instagram and fell in love right away. There was absolutely no need to look elsewhere. Madeline is amazing. She is so organized and provides such great communication, as well as amazing ideas along the way. We used MLC for our Save the Dates, invitations, and several day of details. Basically, anything we could do through her, we did because she is that good! Not only does she create beautiful, unique designs, but she is so collaborative in the process and will not go to print until you are 100% satisfied (no draft limits here like with other vendors!). I loved that she was so easy to work with and receptive to my ideas, plus she is very creative so she brings so much to the table herself! She truly made my visions come to life, and honestly turn out even better than they were in my head! As an added bonus, you don't have to stuff and seal any envelopes or place any stamps- she handles everything from design to post office delivery! I truly feel like there is not a better option around for custom invitations/paper goods. Invitations set the tone for the wedding, and you can't go wrong with MLC! :)

Madeline did both our invitations and day of details (escort cards, menus, table numbers) and everything turned out beautifully! We met for an initial design consultation and from there she sent me several design ideas to narrow down the invitations. We planned the day of details with her during the last month before the wedding and she quickly created designs that coordinated with our invitations. I absolutely loved my wedding invitations! Madeline does an excellent job at asking you the right questions and going over samples and ideas to get a better idea of what you are looking for and how to design something just for you. The design and paper were of very high quality. I received several nice compliments from my guests pre-wedding about how beautiful the invitations were and how they could tell it would be a ‘really nice wedding’ based on the the invitation! She is also very responsive and easy to work with.

My husband Nathan and I can’t say enough good things about Madeline. I had the worst anxiety thinking about invitations – etiquette, assembly, etc. Madeline helped to melt all of my fears and actually made designing our wedding invitations FUN! She did both our invitations and our day-of details, all of which were just gorgeous. We are still getting compliments on them, and even had a few people write on their RSVPs that our invitations were beautiful. Madeline was responsive, always had an answer, and was so friendly and sweet – definitely one of our favorite vendors that we worked with. Even my dad, who has no interest in colors, papers, or anything like that, liked going to meet with her and pick our design elements for our big day. It was so easy. After we approved our designs, we just had to wait for the RSVPs to start rolling in…no late nights spent addressing, stamping, or licking envelopes for us. She “got” our style and our feel from the beginning. Her pricing was competitive with online places that sell stationary, and even though she costs a little more, it was so worth it for the time saved, and more importantly, the personalized service and one-of-a-kind invites we got. We had a weekend wedding event at a summer camp so we knew our invites had to be perfectly themed as well as informational. Madeline was AMAZING to work with, and was completely on the same page as us when it came to design, as a graphic designer by hobby myself, she completely exceeded our expectations.

The planning/concept process was so easy and very well organized and as soon as we saw our proof and I knew we had made the right choice with her! It set the tone for our whole wedding :)

I first met Madeline and saw her work at a bridal show I attended with my mother and Matron of Honor. Her work was a stand out amongst the crowd of vendors. She had this black and white portrait of the old historic Belvedere, my venue, on a save the date and I knew I had to have it. After meeting with Madeline, it was a done deal. She has this calming personality that every high stress bride needs, plus this ability to transform your scatter-brained ideas into a polished craft. She was always responsive with email, and more than willing to meet whenever I felt the need. Our guests continue to rave about the elegant, simplicity of our save the dates, and the gorgeous, formal feel of our wedding invitations.

It really was an honor to work with Madeline of mlc designs, and I would recommend this vendor to ANY bride in the Baltimore/DC/NOVA area.

Simply stunning work; we walked in with some vague ideas of what we wanted, and walked out with great invitations. Madeline is a true artist. Her work is beautiful! She s very easy to work with - she listens, takes notes, and offers suggestions based on your needs. Madeline is very professional and creative, and her designs are specific and custom to you. Madeline helped design our wedding invitations, printed, stuffed and mailed them - it was a huge stress-relief for us and we received many compliments from family and friends. We therefore asked her to design and print our programs, menus, table cards, escort cards and even wedding favors. Everything was perfect and unique without being too over the top. Madeline did our save the dates, invitations, seating chart, and table numbers/menus... and every piece that she created was cooler than the last! She worked with us to get the price to a more doable number, and she offered up really cool ideas, like printing the menu on the back of the table numbers because I didn't want a bunch of paper menus junking up the table. I've gotten a ton of compliments on the invites and save the dates-- they're so unique and were absolutely perfect for our wedding. She was really responsive to all my questions, and quickly made edits when necessary. Everything went out on time, even with the printer closing over the holidays (wedding was in early January). I definitely recommend MLC Designs!

We used MLC designs for our wedding invites & day-off details. I had found her through a bridesmaid who had used Madeline for her wedding. Madeline's work is absolutely gorgeous - all our invites were beautiful & looked so professional. I have honestly not seen any other vendor like Madeline's work in all of Baltimore. She helped us pull off an extremely complicated invite design given we were having two weddings & she literally stuffed every single envelope based on who was invited to what event- talk about complicated!

My favorite part of Madeline's work was the day-off details. She created beautiful place cards, menu/program cards, signs, table numbers. While these things were a bit pricey compared with trying to do it yourself - I think it was worth the money. These details made the reception sparkle & look so gorgeous. I loved them & can't wait to see photos of it!

The only down side to Madeline's excellent work - is that she is extremely busy - so sometimes things took awhile. Likely because everyone wants to hire her! That being said - all of our invites & products went out on time flawlessly.

We chose to work with Madeline for our invitations and day-of details (programs, table numbers, escort cards, etc.) and could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Madeline's invitation design set the tone for our black tie wedding. It was sophisticated and modern all at once (truly beautiful - people commented for months about it!). The day-of details were equally as perfect. One thing to note - my husband is a huge racehorse fan and we wanted to somehow incorporate that as part of the wedding (in a small way). We asked Madeline if she could figure out how to make our ceremony program look like a Daily Race Form. And - OMG - did she nail it!! It was fabulous. Kept with our wedding colors and theme, but reflected elements of a racing form. Our guests absolutely loved it - so much so that we ran out and I had to find an extra one for my mother who was so upset when she found out they might be all gone (we found her one, don't worry) :).

The above example is just one way in which Madeline and her team went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. Madeline is such a pleasure to work with and truly takes pride in her work. She gets to know her clients and enjoys bringing their vision to life.

We can't thank Madeline enough for all of her hard work. It was loved and appreciated by not only me and my husband, but by all of our wedding guests.

There are so many wonderful things I can say about Madeline at Mlc Designs! My fiance and I met with Madeline because she was recommended by a friend in the Baltimore area. We live in DC, but drove up to meet with Madeline and were so pleased by her professionalism and eye for design and creativity. My fiance and I were having a fusion Bengali/Muslim/American wedding and it was very difficult to find invitations that went with our overall feel and theme. Madeline did an amazing job making our vision become a reality! Madeline discusses all the options with you and sends you a very detailed quote before you sign with her. She is also really flexible to make her invitations fit into your budget. I LOVED my wedding invitations...we received so many complements on them...people told me they were the most beautiful invitations they had ever seen :) In addition, Madeline does all the addressing and stamping/mailing for you, which is worth so much during that time of the wedding planning. She also designed all the 'day of details' for me including, table numbers, escort cards, etc. I was so happy with Mlc Designs and would recommend Madeline to all my friends and family. My best friend also used Madeline for her wedding that will take place in Key West, FL next month and the invitations were amazing as well!! It really makes you feel like your invitations for your wedding day are unique and one-of-a-kind, because they are!

Madeline of MLC design was absolutely wonderful to work with. She offered us a variety of options for invitations in all price ranges. She has a huge portfolio of existing work and was also very happy to do something custom. In the end we worked with one of her existing designs and modified it to suite our tastes. All of our guests raved about how exquisite the invitations were. She also took care of labeling and mailing all the invitations which we found to be a huge time saver for us. We were so happy with Madeline's work that we had her produce all of the paper products for our wedding (place cards, programs, menus, etc.). MLC Designs is the best of the best. Madeline worked with us on our Save the Dates, Invitations, and Day of Details. She made everything from scratch to create a vision we had for our wedding. Not only did she create the invitations, but she assembled, addressed and MAILED them. We just started receiving RSVPs back. It was incredible. It made our lives stress-free since we both work full-time and didn't have a lot of time to mail the invitations. The day of details were incredible and customized to make them exactly what we wanted them to be. She also dropped them off at our Reception site for us. I came to Madeline about 2 months before my wedding. I had already had my invitations printed from an Etsy vendor, but due to some miscommunication, my mom was not happy with that vendor and did not want to work with her anymore. So I had invitations but no programs, place cards, etc.

Madeline handled the situation beautifully, and took the style that we already had on the invitations and worked it beautifully into all the other paper items at our wedding. I was in love with the font that we used for the invitations, and really wanted it throughout the reception and ceremony. She incorporated it beautifully.

Madeline is also, obviously, creative and put together elements in ways that my non-creative brain would not have thought of. I could not be happier with the finished products I received from her ad how she handled our situation!

Madeline is simply amazing! I've been relying on friends for referrals, and I was not let down in the invitation department. I used weddingpaperdivas for my save-the-dates, but wanted a custom invitation for the wedding. My girlfriend raved about Madeline's work and suggested contacting her because she's one of the best in Baltimore.

From the very beginning, Madeline was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is extremely professional and makes you feel comfortable right away, so it almost seems like you are working with a friend. One of the things that is great about MLC Designs is the ability to meet with Madeline individually to pick out designs, colors, and actually see and touch what the finished product could look like based on her portfolio. This really made a difference when it came to working with her because we we could see how great her work is from the very first meeting. Plus, you can tell she loves her job. :)

For a bride who isn't sure what she wants, I really suggest looking through some recent invitations she's done so you can work off a template versus starting from scratch. It helps narrow down your options and not make it seem as overwhelming since there are endless possibilities. Also, you can review and edit proofs via email which helps keep the pace moving. Madeline is very responsive, so as long as you can keep things moving along on your end you shouldn't have to worry about missing any deadlines.

Our invitations really embrace our wedding theme and Madeline helped bring it all together. I gladly recommend her work and will refer her to any friends getting married. You won't be dissapointed!!!

I knew from the beginning that I did not want my wedding invitations to look like every other invitation that I got in the mail... but I'm also a traditional type of girl. So something too crazy just wouldn't work for me. I met Madeline at a bridal show and was immediately drawn to her designs that show the city of Baltimore. Given that I met my now-husband in Baltimore and our "story" was here, I knew that this was the direction I wanted to go in.

From our first meeting with Madeline, she perfectly captured every detail about who we are as people in our invitations. I got SO many emails and comments saying, "those invites are SO you!". They were gorgeous and simple with an unexpected pop of the Baltimore skyline on the back. We were wowed with them!

Not only that but Madeline designed all of our corresponding day-off materials- programs, welcome bag hand outs, and thank-you cards for each place setting. She met with us, took diligent notes, and sent us proofs of exactly what we wanted. Getting an email from her always made me so excited because I LOVED her work so much!

Ultimately, Madeline is the reason why our wedding was able to be exactly what we wanted it to be. So many people would ask, "do you have a theme?"-- and we didn't. But we did want to capture our life in Baltimore. Because of everything Madeline designed for us, we were able to do that. She added the cohesion to our wedding and really pulled together everything so wonderfully for us. She is super accommodating and flexible (even let me pick up whatever I needed from her early and at her home!). I LOVED working with her and hope I can figure out another time I'll need custom invites and can call on her. :)

I wish I had business cards from Madeline so I could hand one to every single person I know and meet. She's completely wonderful. I could go on forever praising her. I was probably not her favorite client. I had a very specific idea, but didn't know how to accomplish it so I nitpicked everything. The invitations would be the first glimpse our guests had of our wedding, and I wanted it to be PERFECT. And they were! I loved the wood grain pocket! When it came down to the day-of details, I got really confused by our officiant on the wording and therefore put everything behind schedule. Madeline never complained (though I'm positive I was frustrating her) and she got everything delivered - and it all looked exquisite. When I realized I had given her some incorrect information on 4 escort cards (misspellings, etc). she went above and beyond to have new ones printed and overnighted to me.

I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Her paper choices are top notch, and she's refreshing and creative when it comes to not just design but also the assembly and construction of it all. I had never much thought I'd care about paper choices or stationary, but from here on out all our christmas cards, baby announcements, ANYTHING will be coming from her. Since everything is done pretty much by email, it doesn't make a difference how close/far she may be from you. Use Madeline at MLC Designs, and you'll never be let down. She'll only surprise and delight you with beautiful wedding pieces.

Madeline is so great to work with! This was one of the most fun parts of our wedding planning. The process is fun. You get to meet with her and tell her exactly what components (colors, shapes, design elements) you like, what you envision, and details of your wedding. She somehow takes all of that and creates your perfect vision of your wedding stationary.

Sometimes I catch myself just staring at our save the dates – they are that perfect. Our invites were exactly what I imagined, but did not know how to articulate. We also utilized Madeline’s services for our day of details, to wrap it all together.

You get pricing up front, and can work with Madeline to keep elements within your budget. Everything was on time, and Madeline is just very easy to work with. Definitely recommend!

I was reffered to Madeline from my sister in law who used her for her wedding invitations and day of details. I truely will say when planning my wedding initially I did not plan on using a company for my invites or day of details. I figured I would use a typical internet website. However, from the inital email from Madeline I was hooked. She is very very quick to respond and very sweet from intitial contact. When I met with her with our first consultation I felt like I had known her for years. She is so easy to get along with and her work is beautiful! She is so creative and just from me explaining in person what I wanted for the invitations she made my dream come true even better then I had pictured it. I remember once I saw the finalized work I could not stop smiling! It was such a fun process the entire time with her! I wanted a very romantic black and white "Frank Sinatra era" theme feel to them and they were just perfect!

I LOVED MADELINE!!!!!! While she didn't do my invitations, she took care of all the day-of stationary that really added to the overall decor and atmosphere of the wedding- programs, menus, place cards, table numbers, etc. She was able to use the graphics from my invitation and tie all the pieces together and even added in complimentary patterns while using my color scheme. I would highly recommend MLC Designs to another bride for her wedding invitations! I would also absolutely work with Madeline again on any future invitation needs. My husband and I wanted all of our paper products to be very personalized, incorporating images of Baltimore rowhomes and the city skyline. Madeline worked off of a picture that we took in our own neighborhood and made our dream come true! She incorporated this design in all of our wedding products without making them all identical. We LOVED the designs and we LOVED working with Madeline!

If you're considering using mlc designs for your wedding paper products, just do it. Working with Madeline was one of the best aspects of my planning process. She is fun, responsive - always within 24 hours, and often within the hour, extremely creative, and you can tell she knows what she's doing and that she loves her job. Because I was on a budget, I was originally planning to only do invitations/rsvp's. Madeline worked with me to keep me within my budget while still providing top-notch products (for example, she suggested doing an rsvp postcard vs. traditional card/extra envelope). I LOVED the final design so much I decided to go with her for my table numbers, escort cards, and other wedding day paper products (which were also fantastic!). Her pricing is competitive, and she was just a wonderful vendor to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to use her in the future for party invitations/thank you cards because she really puts 110% into making your ideas come to life in exactly the way you want them to.

Madeline is an exceptional designer. She comes to meetings with plenty of options and thinks about all of those small details to make sure your stationery is perfect for the look you're going for. She responds to all emails/calls immediately. We received an overwhelming amount of compliments on our save the dates and invitations. Guests were equally stunned with our day-of stationery, which Madeline did too - the escort cards, table names, programs, and menus were all done by Madeline. A generic stationery store was not going to do it for me - I wanted something custom and unique to our wedding and Madeline gave us just that - but far exceeded our expectations.

Our invitations just went out and our friends and family haven't stopped talking about them. The design was more than I could ever have imagined. One of my favorite comments was: "They are without a doubt the most exquisite invitations I have ever seen!!"

Madeline had an extra challenge with me - to blend my modern taste with my mom's more formal/traditional likings. She did an amazing job of listening to both of us and combining our ideas into a great package. She was amazing to work with and I would recommend her to all of my friends!

Madeline was such a pleasure to work with from first contact to follow up after my event. She was flexible in the meeting time/place, and right away, she put me at ease with her easy-going attitude, friendly personality, and amazing samples of her work. After about an hour of going through her samples and discussing what I generally wanted, Madeline sent me drafts for review that were spot on to what I wanted. She was quick to respond to all of my emails, and she effectively addressed all of my questions/concerns. She worked with me to make some very minor tweaks to the drafts until we came up with my final product. She kept me on track with my proposed schedule for delivering the invitations and ensure that I had all the information on hand to make my decisions. Madeline also worked with my budget and was very direct about the costs.

My only regret is that I didn't give myself enough time to work with her on some other design projects for my wedding (escort cards, menus, programs, etc.).

I would absolutely recommend Madeline for any bride, or anyone looking for amazing quality, expertise, and professionalism.

mlc designs could not have done a better job. Madeline did our save the dates, invitations, programs, menus, place cards, welcome cards, and table numbers. She was a pleasure to work with: she met with us at convenient times and brought many examples to help us decide what we liked. We told her the type of design we wanted and she went to work. The finished design was better than we had imagined and made each of our wedding pieces completely coordinated. She worked with us up to the midnight hour, making sure everything was what we wanted. The design was truly the signature of our wedding. At the ceremony, several people asked us who did our stationary because it was so beautiful and unique.

Madeline is, by far, one of the most talented invitations designers in the area! She designed our invitation package, envelopes, place cards, thank you notes, menus, programs and a few miscellaneous pieces for our March 24, 2012 wedding at the Belvedere. She also saved my sanity during the wedding planning process because she coordinated our entire suite of paper goods to match and I couldn’t have done it on my own. When we first met, I basically picked out a few designs and colors that I liked, and described my vision for the wedding to her – and she truly worked to bring my vision to life. She set a beautiful and elegant tone for the wedding and everyone is still complimenting us on our wedding invitation suite! Working with her was a breeze, too. She is so flexible and easy-going, and she works her butt off to ensure that everything is perfect and to the client’s liking. I am really going to miss talking to her on a regular basis because it was like working with your best friend! If I had to do it all over again, I would work with Madeline in a heartbeat! She’s the best!

Madeline, as well as her work, was exceptional. She listened to all of my ideas and then helped me channel them in a more organized manner, to give me my wonderful invites, reception pieces, etc. I trusted her to provide ideas, concepts which all helped me bring my vision to reality. Madeline was recommended to me by my sister, Eleni Bowden, whom she did the invitations, programs, place cards, table numbers, menus, and thank you cards for. Well, to no surprise Madeline was JUST as excellent with her service, expert opinion, aesthetic design, creativity, and professionalism for my wedding as she was for my sister's. One of the best decisions my husband and I made in planning our wedding was working with Madeline. She was able to take abstract, vague and very random thoughts and created exactly what we wanted. We wanted all of our paper pieces to flow together to create a 'brand' for the wedding and Madeline did an amazing job. She created our Save the Dates, Invitations, Shower Invitations, Menu cards, escort cards and Thank you notes. All pieces were 100% customized and incredibly affordable.

I recommend Madeline to everyone I know planning a wedding!

We had so many compliments on the paper designs throughout the whole process!! Madeline captured our vision so well and even our guests even said "that is so Andrea and Billy" :)
We even had to sneak an extra program away from my mom as everyone held onto them!! Madeline was so accommodating and met us downtown for a drop off. It made life so easy! There was never any pressure to do more or less, she was the best at letting us go with our budget, needs, and likes! Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! We were lucky to have stopped at her station at the Baltimore Bridal Show!

Madeline did an incredible job with all of our wedding materials. We worked with her to create custom-designed save the dates, invitations, ceremony programs, menus, place cards, table names, wedding favors, and other signage. She personally designed all of these pieces, drawing inspiration from our wedding colors, the quaintness of our venue, a love of horses (and horse racing), and even the crystal broaches that adorned our wedding cake. She wove specific elements into each design that remained constant, so that all of our pieces would complement each other, and would coordinate perfectly. She also created our guest book using several of our favorite photos from our engagement photo shoot.

We received several comments from our guests regarding the elegance of our invitations and other items created by Madeline. Madeline's attention to detail, creativity, and flexibility was superb and we really enjoyed working with her. We look forward to using her for any future events!

Madeline was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were not planning to use a professional invitation service as we didn't really have the budget for it, but when we saw her designs at a bridal show we were blown away. She met with us to discuss concepts and she custom created a design to math our colors and theme. They were STUNNING! We continue to receive compliments like "We have never seen anything so beautiful," "these were completely unique," and so on.

Not only was she great at the design, she was so professional and responsive to any question we had. She was always quick to respond and very detailed in her outlines. She had some amazing ideas that really looked beautiful when it was all put together. She has our full recommendation; you would be crazy not to hire her!!

MLC Designs was absolutely fantastic!! I waited until about 3 months before the wedding to figure out what I was doing for invitations and decided to run over to the bridal expo at the Baltimore Convention Center because I still needed to pick the bakery for my cake and invitations. It was here where I met Madeline. As strange as it sounds, the invitations were the only part of the wedding that I had a clear cut idea of what I wanted (paisley with navy blue and pink) and I could not find anything that reflected this. I really like talking to Madeline and seeing samples of her work, but was very apprehensive about what the cost would be for custom invitations.

After the bridal expo, Madeline and I spoke via phone about different options and I was still not sure whether I wanted to spend a little more to get the custom invitations. It was actually my fiance who told me to just go ahead and use her since I could get exactly what I wanted. I am SO happy I did! She was wonderful to work with and really wanted to make sure the design was exactly what I envisioned. I almost felt embarassed to ask her to make very minor changes (seriously, like changing the color of tiny flowers in part of the design) but she was happy to make sure the final product perfect in my eyes.

I was incredibly excited to have the invitations mailed (also loved that she put them all together and mailed them out, definitely another perk of using her) and I immediately received emails and text messages from friends telling my how gorgeous and unique the invitations were. We also had Madeline create place cards, table cards, thank you cards, design an image for the music CD favors we had made, and she also had a great idea of having our guests sign the welcome sign I asked her to create.

If you are not sure whether to use Madeline, please do!! I promise you will not regret it - I absolutely loved her work and it came out better than I could have imagined!

She then created a design that reflected everything we had envisioned and more. She is very creative and has impeccable taste! Everything Madeline created for us had a cohesive look and feel from the invitations to the place cards, table numbers, and welcome bags. In addition Madeline was very responsive and professional. Madeline's paper products that she designed for our wedding and reception were truly incredible and the presentation of everything was stunning. We received compliments on everything throughout the wedding process. Madeline did every paper product for our wedding, from the Save the Dates and invitations to the placecards, programs, menus at the reception, and she even made custom thank you cards and welcome bags for the hotel guests. Everything she did was meticulous and custom-made to fit perfectly within our wedding vision and theme. She was constantly in touch with us on every last detail and spend countless hours tweaking everything to make sure it was absolutely perfect - and it was! Not only did she make sure the "bigger" items were great, like our wedding invitations and programs, but she also spent just as much time and effort on smaller projects, like hotel welcome bags and kids menus (complete with crayons!), which really made our wedding special, as everything flowed together so well. We simply cannot say enough great things about our experience - we would highly recommend Madeline to anyone!

Madeline from mlc Designs was great to work with! She was very willing to create a one of a kind invitation package for our unique commitment ceremony. Working with Madeline was great! She spent time talking with us about our wedding plans and our ideas which led to a great Save the Date.
