We used Mikey for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! He made the whole process of hiring a DJ and choosing music so smooth and he executed our wedding perfectly. Whenever I was concerned about transitions in the music he listened to my concerns and assured me that he would handle everything. Our last call before the wedding, he put me at ease and after hanging up I remember telling my husband, "He's got this, I trust him!". And he did exactly that. Our wedding was a blast and so many guests have told me since that they loved our DJ. He is professional and prompt, but laidback and fun at the same time. He had us join him at the DJ booth for a bit and then he joined in for our sparkler send off! If I could do it all over again, I'd hire Mikey every time!

Our wedding was in April 2025 and Mikey was our DJ and he was absolutely amazing. And even though our wedding was 8 months ago, our friends and guests still talk about how fun the reception was.
From the very first call we had with Mikey, we felt so comfortable with him and like we could trust him to take the night and run with it and it would be a blast - which was such a relief for me as a bride. We knew it was going to be fun, and he delivered beyond our expectations. He read the room, kept the dance floor alive, and created an amazing atmosphere.
We also hired a saxophonist to perform alongside him for the last few hours, and Mikey was so excited to collaborate with him and accommodating.Their coordination was seamless and added so much to the night.

Davis from Mikey’s team was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment the night started, he understood exactly the vibe we wanted and brought it to life perfectly. He didn’t just press play on a playlist; he mixed every part of the evening with intention, skill, and such a great sense of timing. The transitions were seamless, the energy was always spot-on, and he kept the dance floor full all night.
We heard from guests for days after our wedding about how amazing he was. Several people told us he was one of the best wedding DJs they had experienced. Don't bother looking anywhere else--choose ML!
We had the absolute best experience with Mikey Lee from ML Entertainment for our wedding on June 13. He was recommended by our wedding planner and also by my best friend, who is a local wedding photographer and said he's her favorite DJ—and now we understand why!
Mikey handled everything for us: ceremony music, cocktail hour, reception, and uplighting. From the start, the planning process was seamless. His online portal was super user-friendly and detailed, and he gave me a call the week of the wedding to go over everything. He was so friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely excited for us.
On the big day, Mikey was the perfect blend of professional and fun. He introduced himself with a warm hug as soon as he arrived. During the reception, he even let my husband and me come up and "play DJ" for a little while, which had our guests absolutely hyped! He sang along with the music, encouraged the crowd to do the same, and kept the energy at a max all night long.
We’ve gotten endless compliments from guests saying it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to—and a huge part of that was because of Mikey. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and I honestly barely left it because I was having so much fun. Mikey has a gift for reading the crowd and keeping the vibe just right.
There were also a few really personal touches that meant the world to us. My father passed away, so instead of a traditional father-daughter dance, we invited all the father-daughter pairs to dance in his honor. Mikey introduced it with such care and the most beautiful wording. For our reception entrance, we came out to Sandstorm (a nod to Carolina football), and he hyped it up perfectly—everyone went wild! It was one of the most fun moments of the night.
Truly, I wouldn’t change a single thing. Mikey was perfect. I’ve already recommended him to other couples, and two of our guests who are getting married next year basically booked him on the spot!
If you’re even thinking about hiring Mikey Lee—do it. You will not regret it. He brought so much joy, energy, and heart to our day, and we’ll never forget it.

We hired Mickey for our wedding in March 2025 and he did an amazing job! We requested very specific song transitions with timestamps that seemed fairly complicated. Mikey made our wedding unforgettable! The prep leading up to the wedding was seamless, all calling and emails were prompt and simple, Mikey is a PRO! His energy was incredible, and he kept people on the dance floor all night long! A true professional, he did a fantastic job MC'ing the entire night and kept things flowing seamlessly. He even took the time to give my sister a pep talk before her speech when she was feeling nervous—just one example of how much he truly cares.
Beyond being an amazing DJ, he absolutely nailed the uplighting, cold sparks, and photobooth, which our guests loved! We even had several guests comment on how personable and fun he was, making everyone feel comfortable and hyped up throughout the night.

He was very accommodating from the beginning when we had to change the ceremony start time and to adding on a little more time for the reception. He made the whole process very easy and stress-free. Mikey Lee was SO kind on our phone call days before our wedding and in every email exchange leading up to our special day. The online portal tool was so easy to use. I was pretty stressed about planning the music part of our wedding but this process was SO easy and organized. Mikey Lee SHOWED UP for us in every way. He was so personal and involved and eager to make our day epic. He brought me (the bride) behind the DJ booth to mix and spin some tracks adding a very comedic component and a memory for us to laugh at for years to come. Amazing DJ!!
My husband and I got married this past May and had Mikey DJ our wedding. Booking him was one of the first things we did when we were planning because we know good music would make or break the night. Mikey did not disappoint. He brought the best vibes the whole day, from checking in with me and my bridesmaids (and having a Natasha Bedingfield dance party) while we were getting ready, making sure that our ceremony music went off without a hitch, and of course, bringing the BEST vibes for our reception. Mikey was super professional; his communication and user portal made the planning process much less stressful and helped us consider things about our reception that we never would have thought of without him! On the actual day he helped everything to go off without a hitch (you could tell that he has an incredible amount of experience doing this). The playlist he put together from our favorite songs was perfect and he was able to get a lot of folks both old and young dancing together which was awesome to see. Mikey was an absolute gift from God! We chose Charleston for our destination wedding, and had no idea who to book for a DJ. His extremely organized and detailed planning form, playlist tool, and timeline coordination made the process so simple from start to finish. As a wedding planner, I have seen lots of DJs within the industry. As I began planning my destination wedding in Charleston, Mikey Lee was recommended me a ton so I hired him! Best. Decision. Ever! We absolutely LOVED Mikey on our big day! Our guests are still raving about him and we had an absolute blast. I cannot say enough good things about Mikey!!! From the time we signed the contract to the day of our wedding, Mikey was nothing short of kind, funny, responsive, and really on top of his game. Best Vendor Decision We Made
Mikey Lee was one of the best decisions we made when it came to vendors for our wedding. He was so easy to work with, knew how to read and work the crowd at the wedding, and was just such a fun person in general. Our guests are STILL raving about how awesome he was and how much fun they had at our wedding dancing the night away! Most importantly, my husband and I had a blast on our wedding day, mostly thanks to Mikey Lee. We cannot recommend him enough! You will not be disappointed!!

Hire mikey as your dj!
Our wedding day would not have been even half as amazing without Mikey! I have not only been to many weddings, but I have worked even more weddings. Mikey is hands-down the absolute best DJ that I have ever experienced or got the pleasure to meet.
I have received countless compliments as to how amazing our DJ was and my family is NOT the normal dancing type! He wasn't just our DJ, it was like he was a part of our guests! He KILLED it and I cannot recommend him any more. If you are getting married in Charleston and don't choose Mikey Lee as your DJ, you are making the biggest mistake!!
He answered all of my countless questions with ease, he has a fantastic client portal where we could submit all of our requests, he ensured he followed the dress code of the weddings, and was just overall absolutely perfect for our wedding day.
One final note... HIRE MIKEY AS YOUR DJ!!

Amazing DJ!
Mikey Lee is amazing! We originally found him through the Knot and then our photographer strongly recommended him. Him and his equipment were perfect for the ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches, reception, and grand exit. His personality is perfect to get the crowd dancing and to read the mood of the guests. The best DJ
10 out of 5 stars! Mikey was the DJ for our wedding at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens on Sunday, April 23, 2023. There isn’t a single thing I would have had Mikey do differently for our celebration. All of our guests continue to provide wonderful reviews and tell us our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to, and we wish we could do it all over again. Mikey played a huge role in making our wedding the perfect celebration as the DJ and entertainer and by curating a playlist that kept everyone of different nationalities on the dance floor the entire night, some of them that we’ve never seen dancing before.
Throughout the entire process he was very professional and easy to work with. Extremely patient and friendly. His planning tool helped us a lot. We had a list of must play songs and asked him to play a mixture of spanish and English music. He blew away our expectations!
Since our wedding we had many friends telling us how awesome the music was, asking for his contact info and how much fun they had.

Best DJ in Charleston!
My husband & I would both highly recommend Mikey for any and all of your DJ needs! We had his full service package which included audio/music for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, speeches and the dance floor and we were beyond impressed. Not only did he ensure we (& our guests had a BLAST (his remixed version of Unwritten was a personal favorite) but he really helped with the flow of the day, making announcements when needed adding his own energy! We are so thankful we had Mikey as our DJ!

He is a RockStar DJ - Book HIM
MIkey is by far the best at event DJing. He as so many different options to choose from for you wedding needs that you cannot go wrong. We used MIkey for our wedding a month ago and our guests couldn't stop commenting on how fun he was during the reception. From the wedding couple view, we could not have gotten a better experience with anyone the way Mikey delivered on our needs. Mikey handled all our needs from ceremony music outside, to cocktail hour music outside and separate area, as well as lighting and music during the reception. When I say that Mikey knocks it out of the park at what he does, it is truly no exaggeration. You will not regret using him for any or all your wedding day needs. Mikey Lee was absolutely fabulous to work with to plan our wedding music vibes! We enjoyed the process from start to finish with him. His online planner made it incredibly easy to insert song choices and he offered great suggestions for areas we got stuck on. He is by far one of the best DJ's in Charleston!

If you are looking for a wedding DJ in the Charleston area, look no further! Mikey is the best. I could not have been more impressed with him. He is so incredibly personable, professional, and really gets the party going honestly! We were a little worried about our “dance floor” portion of the wedding due to the fact that a lot of our guests were older 40+. DJ Mikey Lee is truly the best DJ ever! Mikey's communication leading up to the wedding was exceptional. We employed Mikey Lee for our daughters wedding and he DELIVERED! Wow, everyone was raving about how great the DJ performed and kept everyone dancing and having a great time. Mikey was so easy to work with! He edited the daddy-daughter dance perfectly, kept the music going by blending the end of one song to the start of the next which kept everyone happily dancing and having a great time. So many of the wedding guests commented that he was the best they have ever experienced at a wedding or other function.

There are not enough words to explain how awesome Mikey Lee was during our Parcel 32 reception. I used to dream of having a wedding band (and worried that a DJ would just be okay), but our budget and venue didn't make sense. Cue the most entertaining and best wedding DJ around that totally changed my mind!! Mikey was just the best beginning to end. He was so responsive to questions, thorough in going through the timeline, and covered the must plays, do not plays, etc. I cannot recommend him enough. Everyone that attended our reception agreed that he had such an impact on the party vibe! He not only mixed songs and kept every single guest on the dance floor, but he incorporated a bit of humor and dialogue that elevated the experience!! He helped speeches run smoothly, gave announcements as needed, and was just an absolute joy to have as a vendor. He just radiates positive energy. He even pulled my now husband up to DJ a bit and everyone loved it! You can just tell he loves what he does, and his talent shines through. I only wish our reception was longer to have had more time on the dance floor!!!

Talent, flair, and style. Mikey Lee is without a doubt the best entertainer we had the luck to find, trust, and hire for our wedding! He was kind enough to travel to Wilmington, NC for us and we are so thankful he did. He was an absolute blast from start to finish and an honor to have on our big day. We opted in for the uplighting and photo booth as well, and we are so glad we did. Mikey’s DJ skills are top notch and he had the dance floor packed the entire night! Even when asked to play songs of a different language that he was unfamiliar with he had no problem mixing them effortlessly into the song queue. This was an Egyptian/America wedding with Arabic/English music, and the talent he possesses is uncanny! We even got to take over the DJ booth for a short while - one of the biggest highlights of our night! Plus Mikey’s secret hidden talent blew us all away, he’s an excellent rapper!! The photo booth was sleek and had lots of fun props to take pictures with. We highly recommend Mikey Lee and would definitely hire him again for another event! Don’t hesitate if you’re considering, you won’t be disappointed!

Mikey Lee is the absolute BEST DJ! Mikey had the guests on the dance floor the entire time and he even had one of my younger guest work the DJ board! Mikey calls before the wedding to get an understanding of the timeline and makes sure he is pronouncing names correctly. I would 100% hire him again for any event that is in need of a DJ!

The best dj!
Mikey was absolutely the best DJ! He made sure to review our song selections and preferences before the wedding, and made the entire day go off seamlessly. Most importantly, he kept the energy high and the party going! He was great at reading the crowd and playing a perfect mix of songs. He was even willing to stay an extra 30 minutes because everyone was having so much fun. We could not recommend a better DJ for your wedding!

Mikey is not only an outstanding DJ but also an outstanding person! If you choose him to be a part of your special day you will not regret it because he is a joy to work with! We had no idea where to start when it came to reception entertainment and Mikey was a perfect bridge for that gap. We gave him control of the music decision making and he put together an amazing selection catered to guests of all ages. He kept the guests engaged all night and really knows how to pack a dance floor! Communication is key and Mikey is top notch in that arena! His quick responses and attention to detail made all the difference. Song list planning portal is super easy to use and has great recommendations! The absolute best. Look no further!
Mikey is seriously the absolute best. We called a few different DJ's in the area, and just didn't really vibe with any of them. Then we talked to Mikey and knew he was our guy! He even had a hour and a half drive, but he was excited and willing to make our day perfect after he had a long weekend of weddings. He was able to find all the songs we wanted, even though they were a little obscure. He worked with the wedding planner and jumped right in to roll with the surprises that come with any wedding. If we ever have any event remotely in the area, we will definitely be hiring him again. Or flying him out to Tennessee for an event here :)

Excellent! The Wedding Would Not Have Been The Same Without His DJ Service!
Incredible DJ. As a wedding banquet server, I have seen many DJ's and ML Entertainment is definitely the best of the best. His ability to entertain the crowd is remarkable. Half of our wedding crowd was very Christian and did not like to dance and the other half could not wait to hit the dance floor. ML entertainment blended the music and timed it perfectly so that the entire crowd was pleased (not an easy task ;)
He was also super helpful in all other aspects of the wedding and created a classy atmosphere for the ceremony and an electric atmosphere for the dancing.
So many prospective couples asked for his contact info at the end of the night. You will thank your self after the event for hiring him.

Cannot say enough good things about this DJ. Honestly the best and easiest decision for the wedding! He was always super responsive, easy to work with even with me being late and super indecisive about things, due to busy times of work. He is also flexible as we changed venues in the middle of the pandemic. Would book over and over again. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything for the DJ and he gauged the audience so well for the evening with no complaints from guest, as we had an older crowd! All spoke of how awesome he was!

Mikey Lee is the best there could ever be!! He went above and beyond to ensure my outdoor ceremony and reception were heard loud & clear!
Mikey was so attentive to every detail & song choice before the big day! He wanted to ensure that every detail and request were executed properly! His song choices at the reception were a hit and our guests danced all night long! He also has an act for wedding party introductions & was sure to line everyone up in my requested order. Mikey brings his own set-up, which is aesthetically very pleasing! He works in a professional manner throughout the whole process!

BEST Dj in Charleston and surrounding area!
Where do I begin? I cannot say ENOUGH about Mikey with ML Event Entertainment!!! We have seen Mikey DJ several events we have attended and knew we HAD to have him DJ our rehearsal dinner Downtown Charleston. He is a true crowd pleaser and knows just what to play and when to play it. Our trust was in his hands and he nailed it! His whole set up is phenomenal, from the crisp white linen that lines his equipment, to the beautiful lights, everything was a dream. Mikey is very professional and pays close attention to detail which to us was very important. The crowd was up dancing the entire time and could not stop raving about how awesome he was! If you book any other DJ you will be disappointed! So- do yourself a favor and book with THE BEST, you won’t regret it. The best DJ ever!!!
DJ Mikey was everything we wanted and more from a DJ at our wedding on 10/10/20. From keeping everyone on the dance floor, playing all of our most requested songs, joking around with the guests and giving us a night to remember, he was one of our favorite vendors! All of our guests are still talking about him! One of our favorite parts of the night was the last song he saved just for us and it was one of the highlights of our evening. Mikey Lee entertained for our wedding last year and we are so glad he did. The guests LOVED him! He had everyone up dancing and having a good time, even the ones we didn’t think would be up. Mikey DJ'd at our engagement party and rehearsal dinner. He did such a phenomenal job at both events. He is so great at adjusting for different crowds/occasions. Our engagement party turned into a real party at the end and he had everyone on the dance floor and into it! If we had to choose again, Mikey would be a no-brainer. Also, it's hard to put into words what a great person Mikey is. Thoughtful, funny, genuine, he truly is the man. I would 1000% recommend Mikey for your next event! I even had a bridesmaid who said she wished I had gotten married first so she could have hired him. Mikey was the DJ at a wedding I coordinated in early November, and he was FANTASTIC! He arrived early to set everything up, and was very sweet to help some of our other vendors as well. He was able to provide speakers and mics for the ceremony, on a different party of the venue property, that had excellent sound quality. Mikey kept people on the dance floor once the party started! He is extremely organized with his playlist and specialty dances requested by the couple. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I would love to work with him in the future. With being from another state I was so hesitant on hiring a DJ but I could have not been more pleased with the outcome!!! Dj Mikey Lee with ML Event Entertainment was the absolute best!! Mikey was the DJ for my engagement party during the winter months. He did an amazing job getting my guest to the dance floor with his upbeat music choices.
