Kind, fun, easy going and professional DJ!

MK Entertainment was such a great choice for our wedding! We weren't sure if we wanted to have a DJ at all because of some negative experiences at other weddings in the past (we've all been to that wedding where an awkward DJ plays strange music and makes the dancing less fun), but our wedding planner recommended Mike and Kari and she was totally right. Mike kept the wedding going and did a wonderful job reading the group to see what we all wanted to hear. He took our preferences and ran with them, and made them even better! If you're looking for a fun DJ that will still make sure the event is about YOU and what you want, you can't go wrong with MK Entertainment :)

Excellent customer experience

We had a fairly complex introduction, song list, and age variety of attendees.. MK was excellent and did everything we requested with pleasure. Kept people on the dance floor all night long. Very happy with our experience.

Best DJ Ever!

Working with MK Entertainment was a fabulous experience. Mike and Kari were patient and flexible after we had to change our original wedding date which we really appreciated. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding reception unforgettable. Mike kept our guests dancing all night long with the perfect mix of music. We had the most amazing evening and it would not have been the same without them! It was such a pleasure working with MK Entertainment - we highly recommend them for your next event.

Absolutely amazing!

Hands down best DJ for a wedding! He kept all of my guests happy and dancing with all of the music he was playing! So energetic and fun all around! Definitely recommend this company for any DJ needs! Any other event I have in the future I will be using MK entertainment

Book them now!!

My wife and I could not imagine our wedding day without MK Entertainment. Their attention to detail and responsiveness is amazing! Their setup was absolutely stunning and Mike did a great job of keeping everyone out on the dance floor all night. Kari worked behind the scenes to make sure everyone knew what was going on and that we were all where we needed to be for ceremony, introductions and everything else going on throughout the night. They also helped us create our timeline and were patient with us when we had a few last minute changes a couple days before the wedding. In summary, Mike & Kari are AMAZING and you need to book them today if you are looking for an awesome DJ that will rock your wedding!!

Exceeded Expectations

I don't even know where to start - from planning to execution MK Entertainment were the MVP's our wedding. We had a vocalist sing 5-6 songs while people were being seated and 3-4 months before our big day, Mike reached out to her and they worked together on timing/background music so that everyone was comfortable. Almost a month before the wedding, they asked for our Spotify playlists to get an idea of the music we enjoy and then set up an hour conference call to go through exactly what we expected of them. From 70's to Hip-Hop, they had all our guests out on the dance floor grooving. The kicker was our hour long afterparty - we relived our high school days as Mike played hit after hit from 50 Cent to Taylor Swift. We can't thank them enough for making our special day the best ever.

Wedding reception

MK Entertainment was beyond exceptional during our wedding at LaPlaya. They were incredibly helpful from the day we hired them to the last moments of the reception. We didn’t think twice about a thing because we knew they had it handled and organized. Our dance floor was packed all night and everyone of all ages was thrilled with the variety. Mike and Kari go above and beyond when working with their clients. We would recommend them a thousand times over and may just have to convince someone to have a party in Naples so we can hire them again! :)

The best decision ever

MK Entertainment was absolutely phenomenal! They DJed my high school graduation party years ago, and I had them back for my wedding! I couldn't have imagined the celebration with anyone else and they did it INCREDIBLY well. From reading the crowd for the perfect song choices to leading the reception phenomenally well--this team is the best. My guests are still raving about the DJ!!! We had many specific requests and they did it all (including special Cinderella Waltz music for our first dance!!!) They are so intelligent and know their stuff, it was so calming to talk to them on the phone and know they had everything under control haha! I couldn't suggest them more. Seriously! Hire these people.

Best decision we made!

My husband and I planned our wedding in Naples from Ohio and had to rely on recommendations from a list to book our wedding vendors. MK Entertainment was one of the best decisions that we made! They were highly organized, flexible, and honestly helped us plan out the entire day with the timeline examples that they sent to us! They went above and beyond to make our day extremely special and kept the party going the entire night! THANK YOU MIKE AND KARI, we wish you were in Ohio so that we could hire you for events here! :)

Amazing DJ! Everyone Loved Them!!

MK Entertainment is absolutely amazing!! If you're looking for a great DJ that will turn your wedding into a night your guests won't forget, look no further - MK Entertainment is it!! We were planning our wedding from out of state and I was so nervous about hiring a DJ without seeing them in person first. Everyone told me that one of the biggest things guests remember from a wedding is how good (or bad) the DJ was, so I felt like it was a big decision. But as soon as we spoke with Mike and Kari on the phone, our worries went away and we knew we were making a great choice! And boy did they prove that at our wedding!! They were absolutely amazing in every single way! We had a variety of different guests with a wide range of music preferences and MK Entertainment read the crowd so well that they had EVERYONE on the dance floor all night long!! Our guests loved them so much that everyone was all out on the dance floor begging for an encore at the end of the night! They didn't want the party to end!! Afterwards, we've had so many people come up to us and say it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding and how great our DJ was! We're so incredibly happy that we had MK Entertainment at our wedding and would highly recommend them to everyone! Thank you Mike and Kari for making our wedding such a memorable night!!

The Life of Our Party!

Mike and Kari did such an incredible job with our wedding! I told them I wanted a party at our reception & to get as many people dancing as possible, and they definitely made that happen. They also do a comprehensive questionnaire beforehand that includes timeline details and are very thorough. I wasn't worried in the slightest the whole day because I knew they would handle everything perfectly! They are the sweetest, easiest vendors to work with and I would 100% recommend them to any bride wanting an outstanding DJ!

MK Entertainment provided truly outstanding music, DJ, audio and honored all our requests. MK's Team, Kari and Mike are great to plan and work with. Their ability to extract music preference information was above and beyond. In addition, Mike worked with us creating our custom intro mix that was so targeted and special to us! Bravo to MK Entertainment for making our wedding a truly unique event that kept pace with demands. We utilized their "uplighting" package for increased visual FX. Outstanding...thank you!!!

Fantastic!

MK Entertainment did FANTASTIC job at our wedding last weekend. They did a great job controlling and reading the dance floor, making sure to play music catered to whatever crowd was on the dance floor, switching seamlessly from music geared toward older generations to current pop and hip hop. There were people on the dance floor all night long! We had an absolute blast at our wedding, and we definitely recommend MK Entertainment to any other couple looking for the perfect DJ team for their big day.

If you want your wedding guests to have fun, hire MK Entertainment!

When my fiance (now wife) and I started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted two things. 1. A great venue. 2. An amazing DJ. And for our big day, we definitely had both. Kari and Mike were amazing to work with from the beginning. As soon as we inquired about services, Kari quickly responded and scheduled a call to discuss our vision. They were the first vendor we booked. We spoke with two other companies, and didn't feel like they understood the vibe we were after. But after our conversation with MK, we knew this dynamic duo were going to be the right fit. They have a very helpful timeline guide to make sure that you get some songs that you want, while letting them get creative and giving them freedom to "read the crowd" the night of the reception. (So no, there was no Chicken Dance or Electric Slide at our shindig.) And since we were at a new venue, they met us prior to the wedding to plan the set-up of all the equipment and up-lighting. The day of your wedding will be a blur. But when we arrived at the venue, Mike and Kari were set up and ready to go. And they were dressed to the nines! (Better dressed than a couple guests.) The room looked amazing. The lighting was perfect. The sound was clear and not too loud or soft. There were curve balls thrown at them all night, from a last minute speech addition, to hard to pronounce wedding party names, to guests asking for songs on the "do not play list". They handled everything in stride, and they are professionals! Mike worked flawlessly through the introductions, and formalities. Then when it was time to party, they had the entire room on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG. It was an amazing and unforgettable night. Our advice to all you newly engaged couples. Hire MK Entertainment first, so you can cross that off the long list of things to do. Then you can focus on tasting cake flavors.

DJ for Wedding

Mike and Kari were amazing. As expected they played great music and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We loved having them as a part of our special night, and they went above and beyond to make sure that everything went well. Mike was able to read the crowd great and played songs based on the way our guests reacted to each song. Kari was extremely helpful in making sure the night went smooth and everything that we had planned as far as entrances and other special dances went perfectly.

The set up looked great and the addition of uplighting really helped to make the room have the feel we wanted. They did so much more than just play music and we appreciate it all.

We couldn't recommend anyone better. We had to plan this wedding from out of town as it was a destination wedding for us, and we never once had to worry about the music, or if things would go well. MK entertainment kept us assured throughout the process up to our big day that things would go smooth and be great.

Thank you guys so much you made our Wedding AMAZING. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. You guys are the best.

Every time I sit down to start writing MK Entertainments review.... I write a little...backspace... write a little... and backspace again. There are no words good enough to describe Mike and Kari. Music makes or breaks any party or event and they definitely made our wedding unbelievable! My family is overly consumed by music and listens to an incredible variety. We weren’t a group of people that wanted just the newest music on the radio played at our event. I was nervous, thinking, “how am I ever going to get someone to understand the diversity of my group and extreme variety I want played?”. Kari put us so much at ease with just the first conversation... they have an incredible broadness and knowledge around them when it comes to music genres and knew exactly what we wanted. Mike read our crowd perfectly and kept people constantly on the dance floor. Which is what we ultimately wanted! Our wedding was far from the typical “stiff atmosphered” wedding! Their level of communication and professionalism is phenomenal- we never felt like “nags”. Not to mention the fact that they are just about the kindest and most down to earth people I’ve met in a long time. I knew they were the right people for the job, but d*mn!!! Far exceeded my expectations. I could literally write a 4 page review of nothing but good things. There is no doubt in my mind that there is no better dj in Southwest Florida!! Thank you Mike and Kari for making our night so incredible ❤️❤️

We cannot say enough about MK Entertainment. I went on the recommendation of someone I had worked with to DJ the prom and Homecoming at a school I worked at- wow, this was an excellent recommendation.

Mike and Kari were wonderful- responsive, professional and answered all of our questions! They were so organized and attentive to our needs and what we were looking for, and when I didn’t really know what I was looking for, they offered suggestions, which were so helpful for me!

As a bride, you can start to feel overwhelmed with all the details, but Mike and Kari were great- they made an excellent order of ceremony and reception for us to follow and assisted us all along the way!

We got so many compliments about our DJ at the wedding as we walked around. Friends of mine from out of state who go to 3-4 weddings a year even complimented how great Mike was and asked where we found him and Kari!

If you are looking for anyone to DJ any special event you are having- this is your team!

From the moment we met with Mike and Kari, it felt more like longtime friends catching up. We were so comfortable and felt like they were on the same page with us. All emails were responded to in a very timely manner as well. As the wedding day drew closer, they were in constant contact with us both via email and phone calls. I had a few special requests asking Mike and Kari to loop a song for the bridal party entrance and asked if I could enter at a certain part of a song. I knew this was a difficult request, but somehow, they made it work perfectly. I stepped onto the beach and my husband saw me for the first time at the exact part of the song. It was nothing short of amazing and fulfilled my every dream.
However, that is just the beginning of the amazingness that is Mike and Kari. The ceremony and reception were supposed to take place outside. Everyone, except Mother Nature, got that memo. It rained most of the day and was looking like the ceremony would be moved from the beach to indoors. However, there was a very small 40 minute window that we saw on the radar and crossed our fingers that the rain would let up with enough time for the ceremony. Kari and Mike were on stand by in the pouring rain waiting for the window to show. Our wedding day miracle happened when the sun broke through the clouds and the rain stopped. Mike and Kari set up their equipment in record time and helped the other vendors with the ceremony set up any way they could to get this show on the road. Within 10 minutes the ceremony music began playing. Our dream of getting married on the beach was now a reality, only because Mike and Kari believed in our dream and did everything they could to make it happen.
They also transformed a dining room into a magical wonderland with uplighting that was complimentary due to the change of venues. I wish I could write the rest of this review but Wedding Wire is capping my word count. Please see their Facebook page for the rest.

Mike and Kari went above and beyond for our wedding reception. They were absolutely impeccable in their planning, and execution of the whole night. There are a few things that especially stood out to me too that they did that I would like to share because it will help those who read this to make the right decision and choose them for their wedding. First, They sent us an entire word document timeline 8 months before the wedding, so that I had ample time to finish it before the wedding. After I sent the timeline, Mike then gave me a call and spent an entire hour going over every little detail to make sure he got everything right. I was also a bit annoying too because I changed things up after I sent the timeline, but he was totally flexible and changed them up for me with no hesitation. Also, Kari was a boss behind the scenes, always making sure everything was running smoothly and telling us where we need to be. It was so incredible having them, they are an incredible team. Not to mention the fact that they are both extremely talented people. Overall, they treated us so well, were so kind and generous, and helped make our day perfect. What more could you ask for?

We cannot say enough amazing things about this wonderful husband/wife team! As I was planning our daughter's wedding, I was choosing vendors after interviewing several for each aspect of the wedding. I met Mike at our venue to find out more about his company and what I they had to offer us. He showed up on time, was incredibly professional and I could tell right away that he was going to be the one to DJ our daughter's wedding. Leading up to the wedding I worked with his wife by phone and email to set up all the specifics. They were willing to work with us to make the wedding day perfect.

My wife and I couldn't be more pleased with the stellar job performed by MK Entertainment! Michael and Kari were extremely helpful throughout the whole process leading up to our big day. They were always very responsive and helpful, providing us with their professional recommendations on any questions or concerns we had. The music for the cerimony and reception was played exactly as we had planned, and Mike was able to play many of our guest's song requests! Their audio equipment is very impressive, and they were able to relocate from our offsite cerimony to our reception in what seemed like the flip of a switch. My wife and I believe this husband and wife DJ team is the absolute best bang for your buck! They played big part in making our wedding a very special day. You can't go wrong with MK Entertainment!

We got married a month ago, and if we had to do it all over again, we would have hired MK Entertainment as one of our very first vendors! They were simply, and hands down, amazing and worth everything.

Here are the “big highlights”:

We had a packed dance floor from the moment it was open to the very last minute before the grand exit- which is incredible! Michael read the crowd perfectly and weaved the songs to reflect what would keep the dancing going strong. It was almost as if he could read our guests minds to what they wanted; we had to so many guests come up to us after to let us know that our wedding was one of the only ones they danced all night, and that we had a fantastic entertainment team!

Our introductions and first/parent dances at the reception were absolutely magical, and hands down one of our favorite memories. Without Michael and Kari’s guidance, it wouldn’t have been so amazing. They played the songs perfectly, got all the names correct, and accommodated our choices.

Kari was fantastic coordinating everything (their questionnaire/timeline is worth it’s weight in gold) down the very minute, and kept it on track and on time which was incredible as we had 193 guests and wedding party of 14. She handled everything perfectly, and worked seamlessly with our other vendors to make sure our wedding was perfect and exactly what we wanted.

They have amazing sample playlists that you can listen to on their website- which was wonderful as we were able to listen to them before hiring them! Additionally- they also provide amazing advice and wisdom, which were greatly appreciated, which allowed our reception to run smoother and be exactly what we wanted.

In summary, MK Entertainment is amazing, and I would recommend everybody to book them! They are gem in this industry and made our wedding so personal and perfect. If we ever have a big event in this area that needs entertainment, we will be getting in touch with MK Entertainment.

Words cannot begin to describe how amazing of a job MK Entertainment did the day of our wedding. As soon as we contacted them, they were all over every aspect of what was going on. Speaking to either Mike or Kari, the conversations that transpired were nothing more than professional. Every detail, to of course the music for every step, the order in which we walked down the aisle, introductions and even the speeches were ironed out and reviewed meticulously. We opted for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and uplighting and was done spectacularly within a very reasonable budget. It was wonderful to have a knowledgeable DJ and to have Kari coordinating the ceremony and introductions was the absolute most relieving thing to have on such a stressful day. We are still receiving compliments on how the dance floor was full the whole night and Mike was able to notice when the guests weren't feeling the song, changed it up to keep the party going. If anyone is looking for the ultimate DJ experience/coordinating combo, look no further because this duo is the real deal!

I can't say enough good things about Mike and Kari! From start to finish they have been such a pleasure to work with. They're flexible, dependable, organized, talented and are the definition of true professionals. Mike and Kari were with us every step of the way - they helped us make our wedding day timeline, pick out music and we're there to help and assist with any questions or concerns that came up! Best of all, they we're able to personalize our wedding based on the music that we love and means the most to us, which made the day even more special. They are SO much more than your average cheesy wedding DJ!
Our wedding day was filled with surprises, changes and rain, which caused us the change locations and threw our timeline off quite a bit. They were cool, calm, collected, stress free and accommodating! They even agreed to stay two hours later than originally planned so that we could continue our celebration into the night. Michael did an amazing job DJ'ing our 5th grade student dance! Michael came early, set up, and was prepared with appropriate music. Michael & Kari ARE THE BEST!

It's difficult when you're working with vendors from out of state. My fiance and I planned a beach wedding and reception on a yacht at the Marriott. Michael and Kari were very accommodating and professional. They were a pleasure to work with and did a great job at our reception. Kari and Michael are an amazing team and made us feel comfortable from the time we first met with them. They took the time to meet with us twice and were always in touch with us during the months leading up to our wedding. They're extremely organized, knowledgeable and professional. The night of the wedding everyone was dancing non-stop because the music they chose to play was so amazing. We provided a short list of our 'must play' songs and they took it from there and played other songs that were exactly our taste and just so awesome. We used MK Entertainment for our daughters Sweet 16 party. Mike and Kari were very professional, responsive and easy to work with. They kept the dance floor full and the energy of the party high at all times. We were very pleased with their services overall and would definitely book them again. We highly recommend them!

This was a corporate event of staff and their families so there was a great mixture of ages and Michael our DJ was able to work in all types of music for all age group to enjoy. He also was very entertaining. The most important aspect of this event and Michael was that he really had fun with us and was so easy to work with. I would hire him again for sure.

Memorable wedding day

MK Entertainment was a great choice for our special day. Mike was responsive and interactive all the way up to our day of. They were there ahead of time to set up, and walked through the timeline of our ceremony to ensure I was happy with all choices made. The music of the night was great and kept our crowd moving until the end. Overall MK Entertainment was a great choice for our wedding day and made our evening memorable.

Kari and Michael were wonderful throughout the planning process. They quickly responded to my e-mails, offered song selections, and Kari was a lifesaver during the ceremony when our event coordinator was no where to be found. Our only grievance was the inflexibility during the reception. At no fault of our own, our wedding reception started approximately 30 minutes behind schedule due to approximately one-quarter of our guests arriving late to the ceremony, thus causing us to push back the start time of our ceremony. The venue was flexible in pushing back the reception to begin/end 30 minutes later than contracted, however we were notified by Michael at the beginning of the reception that he was only contracted til a certain time and would be charging us for the extra 30 minutes. We opted to stick to the original schedule in order to avoid the extra fee from the DJ, although were a little disappointed that he wasn't more flexible. On the flip side, they certainly stick to their contract!
