From the moment we booked MJC IMAGE, Mary was incredibly communicative and friendly. She did both our engagement shoot and wedding and detailed everything clearly and worked with us to find the right package for our needs. She went above and beyond just photographing our wedding - she played coordinator and was always there to make sure my husband and I were taken care of. Mary is not only a great photographer, but she took something we were dreading, pictures, and made the experience enjoyable. She has a calming presence and was great to work with throughout our special day. We are thrilled with the beautiful photos she captured that we will cherish forever. -

We were so blessed with fantastic vendors on our day, but Mary truly helped us bring the whole thing together. From the moment we chatted on the phone, we knew we were in great hands!! With her quote, she sent over a proposed timeline for the day and recommendations of timing / number of photographers-- we used this to quite literally plan our whole day timeline around, and we were never running low on time; everything felt according to plan and never rushed. (Family photos were SO smooth!)
Her level of detail is so special, and we loved the photos captured of all the hard work we put in on the decorations, venue, etc. as well as the organic human moments filled with emotion, silliness and beyond!
She makes you feel so comfortable and ease immediately, which helped bring out the sweetness and silliness in our couples photos. We also got the BEST reception photos and loved how much happened on the dance floor or at cocktail hour that we didn't even see happen (because, you know, you're a bit busy seeing everyone)!
Could not have asked for a better photographer, and we're so happy we had her for our day. -

From the moment we met Mary, we knew we wanted her to capture our special day. She is an amazing human and incredibly talented - I mean, just look at her work and it says it all! Her photography style is just beautiful. From the start, Mary was very in-tune with us and truly listened to what our vision was and then brought it to life even better than we could have imagined. She was by our side throughout the entire process, even including on our wedding day, beyond just capturing the moment, she was helping guide us through the day. Mary was truly our favorite “vendor” that was part of our wedding day - we got excited every time we were going to talk to her ahead of our wedding and we were ecstatic when we finally got to meet her IRL - she is just such a cool & talented human! Now that it’s all over, we’re so thankful to have the amazing photography that Mary captured, which we will be able to look back on for the rest of our lives. Thank you Mary, for being such an important part of our day and for capturing our day. -

If you're thinking of hiring Mary for your wedding day, do it! You won't regret it. From our first phone call, we knew Mary was the perfect person to spend our wedding day with. She is an excellent photographer! She captured our love beautifully. She is incredibly talented and has a ton of experience, which shows! She captured all the photos we asked for and then some. She was non-intrusive when it came to intimate moments such as capturing our private vows and private last dance. Our entire families loved her. Her assistant was also so much fun to work with! Even things that could have been a worry like rain on our wedding day, Mary saw as an opportunity to capture incredible, moody, rainy kisses. We truly can't speak highly enough of MJC Image, and are so thankful for the team we worked with. -

The best photographer!
Mary was an absolute pleasure to work with on our wedding day. Her communication style is easy, clear, and responsive throughout the entire process. The quality of her work and value was exceptional - she captured all the important details in a comfortable and natural way that made us feel at ease. Additionally, Mary was incredibly responsive and organized, answering every question. She even visited our wedding venue with us in advance to scout out the best spots for photos making the day of that much smoother. We are thrilled with the final results and couldn't recommend Mary more highly. Mary works in the NY area. We are from Pennsylvania and I found Mary online. After calling and speaking with her I knew she was the photographer for us. She took beautiful pictures at St. Patrick’s Cathedral inside the church where we renewed our 50th wedding anniversary vows as well as outside the church and around the surrounding area. Then she took us by cab to Central Park for more fabulous pictures. She was on time, very pleasant and professional to work with. I had some photos in mind and she accommodate all my requests. After our photo shoot she made sure we had a cab ride back to our hotel. I would highly recommend Mary! Lorraine and Joe ❤️ -

Mary was the perfect photographer for our wedding day. From our first interaction, she was encouraging and clear, and that was true through the entire planning process and our wedding day. Mary has an uncanny gift for capturing private moments without you even knowing. EVEN more impressive, she kept my extra large, loud family in line while moving us quickly through the formal photos. The Best!!
We absolutely cannot say enough good things about Mary! She was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for. She brought the good vibes throughout the day and her photos were absolutely gorgeous- we love them so much!! Not to mention she also helped us finalize the timeline for the day from start to finish. From the first phone call, I knew we'd found something special in Mary. Her warmth only equals her professionalism. I can't tell you how many photographers we spoke to before meeting her, but now, sitting with our album in front of us, I know finding her was worth the struggle. Her photos are gorgeous and I can feel myself back in these moments as I look through them. There was a serious hiccup during our wedding day where one of my grandparents was severely late which ended up pushing the entire rest of the day back almost an hour. Mary remained so cool and collected (unlike myself) and quickly worked with the staff at the venue to ensure we would have time for all of the photos we'd planned and still enjoy our time with our guests for the rest of the evening. -

We were taken with Mary's beautiful photos and moved quickly to book her before we'd even finalized our venue. From our initial phone call to the 'week before' meeting, Mary guided us through the planning process with lightheartedness and confidence. She impressed us by offering to meet at our ceremony site months before to do a walk through together. As we got closer to the wedding, she played the role of planner and trusted friend, helping us organize the day and focus on what mattered most to us. The day of, she kept a tight schedule to fit in our requested family portraits on top of documenting the overall event. Her photos convey the exact feelings we felt in special, intimate moments and it's a joy to be transported right back there through her art. Besides the priceless gift of her photos, Mary gave us another one when she suggested we linger alone together and watch a breathtaking sunset over the Long Island Sound before rushing back to join in the festivities. My advice is to book her for more time than you think you need. Her talent and skill is worth double every second she's with you.
