Miya was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I don’t even know where to start! Miya was so kind, professional and just went above and beyond for us since the very start. She was so attentive to detail and somehow saw my vision and brought it to life. I loved the way she was communicative with me and the rest of the vendors; everything went without a hitch and I honestly knew I didn’t have to worry about anything (type A bride here) because Miya had it taken care of. I also want to add that she was soooo kind to our family and friends; everyone loved her. If I could re-do my wedding I would absolutely hire Miya and her team all over again. So incredible grateful! (Also want to add that she styled my table linens beautifully and literally taught herself how to do a specific look I wanted and saved me hundreds of dollars) Miya is literally the best!!! -

I cannot recommend Miya and her team enough!! She went above and beyond in every way to make us and our families feel so supported and comfortable throughout our entire wedding day and planning process. Miya is so kind and loving and it’s so evident she is so passionate about what she does.
I was an extremely Type A bride with my dream
vision and she made every little detail exactly how I wanted it to be. We had the month of coordination package and she was there from the beginning to answer any questions big or small, give vendor recommendations, review contracts, and beyond. The month of our wedding she took over all communication and timeline scheduling with our vendors which was so a relief. Our wedding weekend, Miya provided much relief and comfort by running our rehearsal ensuring ourselves, wedding party, and family felt comfortable and supported for us every step on the big day. Because of Miya we were able to fully enjoy and be present during the day. She is so familiar and has wonderful working relationships with vendors in the San Clemente/OC area. Can’t not recommend Miya any more!! -

Miya was better than we could have ever imagined. We initially booked her as our day of coordinator, but she went far beyond that. Throughout the planning process, she was always available with thoughtful recommendations, kept us organized and on track, and brought a great eye for wedding design.
On the wedding day, she was calm, proactive, and completely in control—handling every detail and any hiccup that came up without us ever feeling it. She truly has a solution for everything.
Because of Miya, we were able to fully relax and have the best day of our lives. We genuinely couldn’t have done it without her.
I would recommend her to anyone planning a wedding—especially in Orange County. Her familiarity with local vendors and resources makes the entire process seamless. -

Miya is a dream!
We truly cannot imagine our wedding day without our incredible coordinator, Miya. From the moment we started working together, she went above and beyond in every possible way.
We planned our wedding on a very tight timeline, and she completely rolled with the punches. She answered countless questions (big and small), guided us through decisions with patience and expertise, and adapted seamlessly to last-minute changes without ever making us feel stressed or behind. No matter what came up, she handled it calmly, confidently, and with total professionalism.
What stood out most was her energy -- calm, cool, collected, and genuinely kind. On a day that can feel overwhelming, she was such a grounding presence. She made not only us, but our bridal party and family feel completely at ease. Everyone felt supported and taken care of.
Because of her, we were actually able to be present and enjoy our day instead of worrying about logistics. Everything flowed beautifully, and we know that's a direct reflection of her hard work behind the scenes.
If you want a coordinator who is organized, adaptable, unflappable, and an absolute joy to work with, look no further. We are endlessly grateful for her!! -

We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Miya. From the very beginning, she was incredibly responsive to every question—big or small—and always made us feel heard and supported. Her organization and professionalism were truly unmatched, and it showed in every detail of our day.
About a month before the wedding, Miya stepped in and took all of the planning off our shoulders. She handled every rental, managed all the logistics, and worked directly with our vendors and contracts so we didn’t have to stress about a single thing. She coordinated everything so seamlessly that we felt completely taken care of.
The entire day flowed beautifully, and so many of our guests commented on how coordinated and well-run everything was—credit that fully belongs to Miya. She took so much pressure off of us during the planning process and especially on the wedding day. Miya was consistently kind, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. Her calm, steady presence made all the difference, even with the veil debacle 30 minutes before walking down the aisle. She handed it all!
We also have to give a huge shoutout to her assistant, Aime, who was just as wonderful. Together, they set up the venue beautifully, and after the celebration, they handled clearing the space and organizing all our decorations so carefully. It was such a gift to not have to worry about a single thing.
Our wedding truly was the best experience we could have imagined, and we owe so much of that to Miya. We would recommend her to absolutely anyone—she is simply the best! -

We lucked into Miya being our coordinator after our original coordinator was double booked. AND SHE SAVED OUR DAY! Unfortunately, our photographers were a no show/no contact. In the midst of all the chaos, Miya was able to get us a new photographer within an hour. She was ready with multiple options which made the stress of the moment very manageable. If you would have told us our photographers WEREN’T going to show up the day of the wedding I would have said the day was going to be a disaster. What should have been one of the most stressful situation anyone could imagine on your wedding day felt like the most minor inconvenience, thanks to Miya. She HANDLED the situation effortlessly and we are so incredibly thankful she was there with us on our day! She was on top of everything after being thrust into the role the WEEK OF THE WEDDING. It was no easy task, as we had a ton of little details that were really important to us and a lot of moving parts. She took care of it all, she is truly great at what she does! If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, Miya is your girl. It’ll be the second best decision you make on your wedding day! Thank you again Miya! -

We shifted to Miya a week before our wedding and she didn't miss a beat, she jumped in asked all the right questions, gathered details from us and made us feel completely supported. It was clear from day 1 that she knew what she was doing immediately moving into action by reaching out to vendors and ensuring we had everything lined up and organized ahead of the big day. What could of been a stressful week was made easy - and she built trust with us immediately. The day of the wedding was perfect, she kept us on track, made sure details were handled and supported us in every aspect of the day. It was such a beautiful day that without her I do not believe would of been as great. 10/10 would recommend her. Thanks Miya for allowing Justin and I some flex that day but also keeping us on track -- and handling everything so we could enjoy time together and with our loved ones. It looked like a dream! -

Choosing Paige as our day-of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding this August! She was responsive and supportive in the weeks leading up to the big day, even helping me with design ideas that pulled everything together beautifully. On the wedding day itself, she went above and beyond to keep things running smoothly. I truly didn’t have to think or worry about a single detail. Paige was everything you’d want in a coordinator and more: organized, thoughtful, and definitely knew what she was doing. Beyond her professionalism and calm, steady presence, what meant the most was how many family members came to me saying how amazing Paige was. She was such a blessing to us on our special day, and it’s clear that this work is her calling. We are so grateful to have had her and her assistant by our side! We had our wedding at the San Clemente Historic Cottage. I wanted to find someone who was familiar with the venue as there is nothing included and a lot of planning/coordination needed. There are a lot of details that had to be thought of throughout the process and Miya was on it! Communication was great throughout my entire experience. The day of our wedding went so smoothly! If anything did go wrong, I had no idea! And that is exactly what you want when you hire a coordinator. I would recommend Miya and her crew 100% -

To say the team at Miya Kay Events did an amazing job, doesn't do it justice!
The services from Miya and Ashleigh were 10/10! Starting with the initial phone call, they listened and understood my vision and helped me decide what package suited my needs best. We purchased the Day of/Month of Coordination package.
They were quick to respond to all emails/phone calls and extremely helpful with answering any and all questions I had. They were both very familiar with our venue and offered lots of great advice. As someone who doesn't have much experience in party planning (especially for our size of 200 guests), it was very helpful to be pointed in certain directions and given recommendations on vendors. With an overwhelming amount of vendors to pick from, it was helpful to have their knowledge and advice when deciding on specific ones to use. All of the recommended vendors did a wonderful job!
Ashleigh Moore was our day of coordinator and I cannot say enough great things about her. She went ABOVE and BEYOND the call of service. She listened and executed my vision perfectly. She had open communication with myself and all vendors prior to the wedding, which made me feel relaxed and prepared leading into the big day. Many of the vendors spoke very highly of her after the wedding, and said working with her, she created a fun and organized environment which they all appreciated. She was extremely knowledgeable in all areas of wedding planning. She made sure that I was stress free and enjoying my entire wedding weekend. This included our families as well! Which to this day, my parents and in laws still compliment her on! She was very organized and reassured me that she was prepared to handle any situations that came our way. Her attention to detail (and our needs) the day of the wedding was something that stood out most. I didn't have to lift a finger or think about anything, except enjoying my big day. She calmed every nerve I had before walking down that aisle too! :)
I cannot recommend Ashleigh Moore and Miya Kay Events enough! They will make all of your wedding day dreams come to life AND MORE!

Miya is AMAZING!!! We booked her for day-of coordination for our wedding at The Casino San Clemente. She is so friendly and easy to communicate with, and every single one of her recommended vendors were stellar. We unexpectedly moved out of state about 5 months before our wedding and she was super flexible in accommodating our need for virtual meetings/walk-throughs. I also loved that although we chose the "day of coordination" package, she was still available to help with smaller questions/details throughout the year and took over vendor communication a few weeks prior to the event. This made the weeks leading up to the wedding SO much more stress-free. I loved how she emphasized wanting my family/bridesmaids to relax on the day of, rather than running around helping set up/tear down. She and her assistant seriously took care of it all and everyone could just relax and enjoy the day. Our day ran perfectly all thanks to Miya and I couldn't recommend her enough!! -

We worked with Miya for our Day-of/ Month-of Coordination and all our friends and family still cannot get over the seamless execution of our wedding day. Throughout the whole process, she offered so much support and was so happy to help with providing recommendations for vendors, professional expertise, suggestions for the wedding day, and information on best practices on how to plan a wedding. She was so supportive of our ideas and choices, and she didn't oversell us or encourage us to do anything that didn't feel like us, I so so deeply appreciated her kind voice of reason. Everything came to life SO beautifully and we could not be happier with how well she and her team brought our vision to life. My husband and I got to fully soak up our wedding day, remain present, and didn't have to worry about a thing thanks to Miya!! -

A fantastic month-of coordinator!
Miya is a delight. Kind, responsive, and experienced. We loved working with her as our month-of coordinator!
We first found Miya on a ‘preferred vendors’ list for our original venue. When our venue literally fell off a cliff, we decided to pivot to a venue in San Diego that Miya had not previously worked at. She did an amazing job learning an entire new venue and team, and the day went seamlessly.
Miya especially knocked our socks off day-of. The reception space was set up beautifully and as envisioned. Through the whole day she anticipated questions and needs we didn’t know we had. We were able to be truly present with our guests, and she would magically guide us to each next stage of the event. I asked her to give a heads-up to my parents and bridesmaids about when during dinner their speeches would be; it was already done. We woke up the next morning not only to a tidy pile of wedding items returned to our hotel room, but also to a text with photos and videos she had taken of all of the elements that you put so much effort into planning but don’t get the chance to truly stare at and appreciate during the big day. All of our family and wedding party that interacted with her told us, unprompted, how delightful she was.
She was also a great resource for finding our other vendors. We chose our photographer, florist, and DJ based on her recommendations and they were all fantastic as well, and clearly had a great working rapport with each other.
We’d absolutely recommend Miya as a coordinator.

Miya is amazing!
Miya was fantastic! My engagement was short so we had ample time to get everything organized but Miya was on top of it. She was always there to bounce ideas off of, offer advice, and calm my nerves. I was worried the decor I had would be lack luster but Miya worked her magic and everything looked fantastic! On the big day, she went above and beyond to make sure I didn’t have to lift a finger. Everything went so smoothly I could not have asked for anything better! She is very good at what she does and I feel so lucky to have had her help with such a special day! -

The moment I hung up my first call with Miya, I knew I was in great hands. Miya was so kind from the first moment we talked to even our time after the wedding. Amazing work lexi!
Lexi was a great coordinator. She had an amazing eye and vision for the day and executed everything exactly as we hoped. Our wedding day was definitely the happiest day of our lives so far and Lexi had a huge role to play in its success. Because of Lexi, the backyard was transformed into our fairy tale wedding. She really understood our vision and budget and worked to make us have the perfect day. She had great vendor recommendations and helped us make sure every detail was accounted for. She built the timeline herself. The day of the wedding, my husband and I basically got to just enjoy ourselves and each other.
Two weeks before the wedding date, the cake caterer my husband and I ordered from closed down and I reached out to Lexi for help/advice. We wanted a vegan cake, so were really scared we wouldn’t be able to find someone else. Within a few hours she had us in contact with a new baker. The day of, she even picked up everything for us. Her ability to think on the spot and help us find a new vendor was a huge stress relief.
I would highly recommend Lexi as a coordinator. Choosing a coordinator was a GAME CHANGER for the day. Having Lexi coordinate was the single best decision we made for our special day. -

Best Coordinator EVER!
I got married in Dana Point, CA at the Chart House 2 weeks ago and when I started looking for Coordinators— I spoke to SO many. I really just wanted to find the right person. Lexi was the last coordinator I spoke to and let me tell you it was SO meant to be. She is full of energy, positivity, and always has creative ideas/solutions. She has great connections in Orange County and pointed me to THE most perfect vendors (who truly fit my style). Lexi is set apart as a wedding coordinator because she truly cares about her clients. From the moment I hired her to the big day— I felt like she was my biggest cheerleader. I literally did not worry about a thing day of bc we had such a good sense of trust prior. I am so happy we had Lexi as our wedding day-of coordinator! I was also a bride affected by the landslide at Casa Romantica, and before I could even reach out to her about possible alternative locations, she had already contacted multiple venues to put soft holds for my wedding date!! I was SO IMPRESSED with how quick and proactive she was. She truly went above-and-beyond for us.
Lexi has such a sweet and comforting personality. Meeting with her always put my anxiety at ease and made me feel confident that things would work out ok :]. Lexi did much more than just day-of coordination, she came with me to select rentals and helped me with my color and style vision. She is incredibly friendly, bubbly, and has great rapport with many Orange County venues and vendors. This was so useful because she always had the inside scoop on info that I wouldn't have been privy to.
Lexi is extremely competent and capable of handling unforeseen disasters, especially after the crazy 2023 many of us Casa Romantica brides had. Lexi and her assistant also set up all my table decor so beautifully - I was floored with how everything looked.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Lexi to any friends and family planning their big day. Thank you, Lexi! -

Lora Sent on 10/24/2023Lexi Luciani found a totally new venue for our wedding in 2 days, after a landslide closed our original venue at Casa Romantica!
Our wedding was just 5 weeks away, when our clifftop dream wedding plans collapsed due to a landslide at Casa Romantica on April 27th in San Clemente. Ms. Luciani calmly guided us through a complete disaster! She was reassuring & quickly regrouped, finding & showing us 3 acceptable alternatives within 2 days, and meeting with all our vendors immediately at the new site! She assisted us with obtaining a 100% refund. Ms Luciani is extremely well-connected and well-liked by her community.
The replacement venue we selected, turned out to be even better for us, at the same price, and was only 5 miles from Casa.
Lexi was an absolute pleasure to work with: Incredibly well-organized; Always on-time; A careful listener who made thoughtful suggestions; Has an artistic eye; Recommended amazing vendors; Quick to get back to us; Worked “above & beyond” requirements; and very responsive to any issues that arose before and during the actual day of our event. All this for a Very reasonable price! We still can’t believe she managed to do this!!
Comments from our 85 attendees generally included: One of the most beautiful weddings ever! The flowers and table arrangements were spectacular! The food was really delicious served hot with large portions. The sound system and MC was excellent, especially the karaoke mixed with live music was so Fun!! The flow of the evening was seamless.
We actually cannot even begin to imagine what our wedding would have been without MiyaKay Events and Ms. Luciani’s calm, yet always cheerful presence! The whole day was perfect.

Best Wedding Coordinator in OC!
Miya was recommended to us by our venue, the Grand Gimeno, and from the start she was easy and fun to work with. Early on she was responsive, the ultimate hype woman, and always on-top-of-it. Halfway through planning she shared that she was expecting her second baby and was due two months before our wedding. She gave us the option to find another coordinator or offered to line up an assistant. We already trusted Miya and appreciated how proactive she was so we ended up working with Lexi, who took the lead on coordinating and executing our wedding. We feel so fortunate to have worked with both Miya and Lexi, and could not imagine our wedding day without them. We underestimated how much of a difference your vendors have on your wedding day, and it truly felt perfect and magical because of those two fabulous women. They were fun, professional, and reasonably priced/the best value. -

My entire wedding planning process and wedding day were both absolutely seamless and I owe it all to Lexi! My wedding day was so peaceful and I truly think Lexi had a hand in that. She is so passionate about making your vision come to life while also being honest about budget. Dont look further: best wedding planner ever
Miya is truly one of a kind. She is worth A MILLION STARS. She is HANDS down the best wedding planner in the world. DO NOT LOOK FURTHER, JUST BOOK HER AND HER TEAM. But if you need to know the reasons why keep reading... We met Miya around a year before our wedding through the preferred vendor list at our original venue, from the moment we started talking we knew she was the right choice. From the start Miya was ALWAYS available via phone or email, and she was with us every step of the way. I never was one to imagine my perfect wedding day, and from scratch she helped curate a vision, from the small to large details, that fit my husband's and my personalities. She also didn't question when I required multiple iterations of my vision throughout the year long planning process. She has amazing contacts and relationships with all the vendors in Orange County. She knows who provides the best services, who has the best price point, and has an extensive knowledge of what items are required for a wedding - from the correct silverware to generators to support a band. All of our vendors trusted her completely, and with her leadership she orchestrated them all behind the scenes so my husband and I didn't have to worry. She also reviewed all the contracts and ensured we were paying our vendors on time. Miya is also the calmest most organized person I've met. A week before our wedding our venue collapsed in a landslide- yes, I am not joking. Before she even called us to deliver the bad news she had a new venue ready on hold. She is always one step ahead because that's who she is. She was a voice of reason and a calming presence as we planned a whole new wedding in just 5 days. She was able to incorporate our old vision into the new venue, and the wedding ended up being hands down better than our original plan, ask all of our guests!! The event also went off without a hitch, she ensured everyone was in the correct place and on time. She ensured all of the small personal detailed items I had ordered were craft-fully placed in the correct spaces in the venue. She also ran with my bold yet romantic Spanish Garden party vision, something I adapted because we were getting married on Cinco de Mayo. Honestly one of the saddest parts of our wedding being over is that Miya and I no longer get to speak on the phone daily, but no fear we will be bonded and best friends for life! I am eternally grateful for Miya, and when she says she "Loves Love" she truly does, because I think there is no one out there with as large of a heart as hers. Thank you for everything Miya, WE LOVE YOU! -

I could not imagine doing our wedding without Miya. She truly was with us every step of the way. Like so many of the reviews say, hiring Miya was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. We hired Miya to be our day of coordinator and everything leading up to the event and day of went absolutely flawless. Aside from being a wonderful human being, I loved that Miya brought such a great point of view to the wedding planning process. So many other vendors give wishy washy answers, but we were looking for guidance and Miya gave us just that with so many decisions. She is a fantastic communicator - we checked in regularly leading up to the wedding and after all our calls, I felt SO relieved. Based on our interactions, I went into our wedding weekend confident that everything would go smoothly which was exactly what we experienced. Everything went flawless for the wedding day and was completely stress-free thanks to Miya. She is truly amazing at what she does and is a total sweetheart (doing things like offering for me to borrow some of her own decor from her wedding or picking up our cakes because it was on her way). Can't recommend her enough!!! -

We met Miya while she was working with La Ventura Event Center and we hired her as our day-of coordinator initially for our May 2020 wedding, which eventually became our June 2021 wedding. We continued to work with her under her new company Miya Kay Events. Miya is an exceptional wedding coordinator. She was professional and supportive, which was even more important for us as we planned because we had to postpone our wedding two times due to the pandemic. She went above and beyond to communicate with us during the course of two years, as things constantly changed and everything felt unknown. Once we were able to move forward, she worked with us to make sure that everything was the way we wanted it to be and to make sure that we didn't have to stress out about any details (vendor communication, set up, etc.) on the day of the wedding. On the day of wedding, Miya and her assistant worked tirelessly to make sure that everything went smoothly. I would give Miya 1000 stars if I could! We couldn't do it without her! -

Hiring Miya as our wedding day-of coordinator is literally the best decision we made in the wedding planning process. From the early email exchanges and our first meeting months before the wedding, I knew I could trust her and simply follow her lead. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and excellent at what she does. She was on top of every detail throughout our wedding month and made the day go so smoothly and seamlessly. She also has this sweet personality and calm demeanor that made all the family and bridal party feel at ease and comfortable. I didn't stress or sweat over anything on my big day but got to fully experience every moment. I don't think it is possible without Miya. In fact, our friends who are getting married next year noticed how competent Miya is and asked her business card at the wedding because they wanted to have a perfect wedding like ours! -

Miya Goes Above and Beyond!
Miya is exceptional! Our wedding was magical and so much more than we could have ever expected, and that was because of Miya. She really went above and beyond and worked hard to make our wedding a success. With so many little details, last minute changes and deadlines; Miya took the lead and helped take the stress off so I could relax and really enjoy the wedding planning process. She emailed our vendors, sent out communications, reminders and kept everything on track leading up to the wedding. Miya had a great working relationship with all of our vendors, was very professional and so accommodating. Our vendors and guests adore her! During the wedding she was behind the scenes taking care of everything, I didn't have to worry about a thing; I just enjoyed my wedding. With the stresses and hurdles of the pandemic, Miya worked hard to pull off our wedding safely. We honestly could not have pulled off this wedding without Miya, and are so pleased that we had her as our wedding coordinator. Highly recommended! -

I'm so happy we chose Miya as our day-of wedding coordinator. She made our wedding planning so much easier and less stressful. I couldn’t imagine getting married without her help and guidance! Because she was also our point of contact for the caterers we chose, she knew everything about our wedding timeline, menu, drink set-up, guest needs, tables, etc. Miya is so easy to communicate with — she’s super responsive, friendly, and professional. She was always willing to answer all my questions (and my mom’s!), meet with me and my husband in person to go over details, and check in on us and our other vendors to make sure everything was lined up and ready to go. I so appreciate the hours she spent with us as we asked her question after question about everything from ceremony traditions to which drinks people typically gravitate toward at a wedding. She’s a wedding wealth of knowledge. And on our wedding day, Miya made sure everything went as smooth as possible. She has a great energy, and really makes sure the couple, their families, and the vendors know exactly what they’re supposed to be doing at all times. Her help and experience allowed me and my husband to be completely present and just enjoy ourselves during the wedding, without thinking about the logistics or the guests at all. What a gift! I can’t recommend her more. -

Hiring Miya was by far the best decision we made during our whole planning process. Our experience was a little bit different since we had to postpone due to COVID and Miya was there every step of the way. She was so kind, prompt, knowledgeable, respectful and helped make every difficult decision seem easy. From day one when we met my family was raving about how great she was. Our wedding would not have been the same if we didn't hire Miya. Everything went so smooth on our day, a seamless transition where we were actually able to enjoy our day!
