Best Bar Mitzvah MC

We had a great experience with Mitch from the time we first connected. He helped us deciding the venue and organizing my son's bar mitzvah. We had an awesome time. I would definitely hire him again for another event.

Oh What A Night

FANTASTIC and WONDERFUL!!! We cannot say enough good things about Mitch. Our wedding celebration was FUN and he had everyone up and dancing. He was professional, organized and everything went smoothly. Mitch knew how to blend the different parts of the evening and we highly recommend without hesitation

Best Bar Mitzvah DJ

Hired Mitch for my son's bar mitzvah last month. He's a master at his craft. He keeps both the kids and adults entertained from wire to wire, without the need for dancers or gimmicks. He's also very responsive and understanding. And he doesn't break the bank like some of these conglomerate DJ's. Would highly recommend.

Mix It Up Mitch is Marvelous

From the first phone call Mitch was an engaging personality. He kept it professional and instilled confidence that our wedding was going to rock. AND he delivers. He started the party and kept the tempo going through the evening. All while keeping the focus on us, and not himself, as I've experienced at other events. Mitch should be your first and only call when you want to ensure a great event.

Amazing energy and service!

I have used Mixitup twice now and I have to say they do not disappoint. They are so enthusiastic, professional and will make each experience unique and unforgettable. We didn’t want the party to end! I highly recommend them.

Amazing Experience

Mitch and Mix-It-Up DJ's made our daughter's Bat Mitzvah an amazing and spectacular experience. Mitch was very easy to work with and was unbelievably helpful in planning and executing this event. I would recommend him unreservedly. He is reliable and trustworthy and REALLY knows how to throw a party. Mitch, thank you for everything. We are truly grateful! The Wheatman Family!

Mitch was a fantastic DJ for our daughter's bat mitzvah. He did his best to get to know us ahead of time, helped greatly with the song selections, and kept the party going all afternoon. He is very upbeat and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Mitch was amazing! He adjusted his talents to our tastes. He included everything we wanted and brought an amazing DJ with him! Even the kids never ticked how they adjusted the music to what was happening on the dance floor. Wish the party could have kept going!

Mitch did a great job on my daughter's 13th birthday pool party for a group of 30 girls. He kept the girls entertained the whole time and not getting into any girl drama for three whole hours! That's a win in my book!

Not only is Mitch adorable and have a diamond personality, but he also helped me find a couple of other vendors to fit my budget to make my children's B'nai Mitzvah a big success. Mix it Up DJ's was what made the party a hit as well as being a valuable resource to me. Don't just hire a DJ but hire someone with charisma to make it fun. You will not go wrong with Mitch Friedman!! I highly recommend him.

Mitch did a great job of making my son’s event very special. He also took the time to work with me before the event to make sure that everything was planned properly and to make suggestions that really helped make the party special. He coordinated clearly with the venue and I didn’t have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy the event. He was organized and extremely professional and I would recommend him to anyone.

Mix it up DJs made the party fun and kept it high energy all night. In my opinion, what makes them a much better DJ choice is that they listen to you. The owner Mitch met us in person and called us multiple times before the event to ensure our expectations will be met. Previous DJs only cared about payment but Mix it up DJs cares that you get the music that you like and the event has your own custom flow. Very Highly Recommended!

Mitch from Mixitup Dj's was such a pleasure to work with. Mitch knew exactly what my daughter wanted from just a quick phone conversation! Mitch was very helpful from the candle lighting to the music choices. The crowd was entertained from beginning to end! He kept the music playing and the playlist was awesome, kept the kids as well as the adults very entertained! Very professional and I would highly recommend for any venue and I would use for all my future events!!!

Mitch was professional and very accommodating. He played all the music requested and made all guests feel welcome. He involved all of the children during cocktail hour so they were happily occupied. The games he played were all age appropriate and everyone was entertained!! Highly recommend and will higher again if the opportunity arises.

He's incredibly professional, caring and warm and will make you and your family and all your invited guest feel incredibly welcome and have the time of their life at your party! Mitch played everything we wanted and added his touch that kept the floor packed all night! His professionalism and passion shined at our holiday party. Mitch was amazing!! This was my first big event and he helped me out tremendously along the way. He suggested inexpensive little additions that made a huge impact on the quality of the party! His energy was infectious and he kept the party moving throughout the night. He even helped out by suggesting "party shots" for the photographer. I can't wait to see the pictures!! His dancer Tomi was fantastic and kept the kids engaged and dancing. I would highly recommend Mitch and Mixitup DJs for your event!!

Mitch was brought to us by our planner for our son's Bar Mitzvah. There could not have been a better DJ/MC for our party! Guests were commenting about what a great DJ we had! My son and his friends were smiling and having a great time the entire party! I would highly recommend Mitch and look forward to him being a part of our daughters Bat Mitzvah in 2018!

Mitch was such an amazing DJ from start to finish. The moment I hired him, he totally took the reigns and started helping me plan the perfect song set up and suggestions for the wedding. Not only did he have the perfect song ideas / play lists, He also had incredible lighting for the event! Which made the place look magical. He is very professional, he knew exactly what to do and how to plan for my wedding to be perfect! Mitch made sure from start to finish that I was ok with everything going on and most importantly just wanted me to be happy. And I was! I didn't have to guess what was happening next because he stayed on top of things and made us aware of it ALL! He made my party so LIVE and so HYPED! He has a great sense of humor and your guests will be very entertained because he is a great host / speaker. Everything at my wedding flowed very well because you can tell he the is not his first rodeo! He stayed on time and had us partying the night away with his awesome playlist of songs. He played all the requested songs from my husband and I and that was also a plus. We were both very impressed with his part in our wedding. Our party would have not been the same without Mitch. Music was great, lighting was amazing and he was very personable. I would highly recommend Mitch to anyone having an event. He is the best! I love Mitch! He did an amazing job keeping my wedding flowing and gave me everything I wanted and some things I didn't even know I wanted! Multiple guests told me that mine was the best wedding they had ever attended and I owe a lot of that to Mitch. He really took the time to get to know us and our guests to give us the perfect mix of music. He was professional without being stiff and I can't recommend him any more highly than I already do!

Firstly, let me say I never take the time to write reviews, but Mitch was so over the top great, I need to take the time to give him some props. The energy that he brought to the party was fabulous! He kept the kids totally engaged for the three hours with games, music, and just his own brand of crazy (the good kind!). He sent them running around with a scavenger hunt, had them dancing in sync, and had them screaming with delight. He was easy to work with (though a bit verbose on the phone:), showed up, and brought it. He even helped out the decorator when she couldn't quite get it together to finish on time. I truly could not recommend him loudly enough given that the last party we threw (same venue) had a different DJ and was so muchness intense. The DJ made ALL the difference in the world. Thank you Mitch, and I certainly will continue to sing your praises as people ask me about our DJ! Please feel free to use me as a reference:)

A huge thanks to Mitch Friedman of Mix it up DJ'S for making my son's Bar Mitzvah such a special and memorable event. His out of the box ideas and energy level kept the party going for the kids and adults as well. The red up lighting and great music really enhanced the entire party. I highly recommend him!

Our DJ was on time, professional, responsive, asked for song preferences in advance. He organized good games and met special requests from our guests (11-year old girls). Overall, did everything exactly the way we asked. Pleasant and easy to deal with. Girls thought it was great! Thank you.

Mitch with MixitupDJ.com was a real professional. He's energetic, punctual, helpful, knowledgeable on earlier genres and up to date on the latest songs. We had a blast with Mitch, he really knew how to keep the crowd alive.

The DJ was very knowledgeable and experienced in his initial interview with us. Throughout the ceremony he kept the party atmosphere up and all the guest occupied. He was not the same ole party songs and dance person. He had original and fun activities for us and our guests. He made great suggestions to us and enhanced our reception with his uplighting and wall coverings. If I had anything negative to say about him it would be that he can be difficult to get hold of. There were times when we had questions and concerns as the time got close and he could not be reached. Otherwise he put our minds at ease and delivered a great party!

Mitch from Mixitup DJ's was such a pleasure to work with and a great find! After speaking with other DJs I was very nervous because they were either rude or didn't show up for appointments. I met Mitch and I got a great vibe from his personality from the very beginning. After I paid my deposit and started really planning my wedding, any time I had a question, he was able to help me, even if the question did not pertain to the music! When the wedding day came, I don't think it would have ran as smoothly as it did without Mitch. He was there to help us keep on the time schedule and the music selection was impressive! Mitch honestly saved my wedding because the venue I chose was not accommodating at all, and he took over and made sure it was a special day.

Mitch was great from the very start. I met him at a bridal show about a year out from my wedding. At the show, he was very thorough, friendly, and he answered all my questions and offered a ton of information.

I contact him about a month later asking for a quote (along with several other DJs). He was quick to respond and with a great price. With all of the great reviews he had received, we decided to hire him, which was by far one of our best decisions during the wedding planning process.

Any time I had a question (and I had many), he responded quickly and never tried to rush me off the phone. He spent so much time going over every little detail with me so that I could feel confident and just remain calm. He was also just pleasant to talk to, which was refreshing as it was not a typical business transaction type of interaction.

At the wedding, Mitch kept the energy high and everything flowed smoothly. Our dinner was late coming out and Mitch acted quickly and rearranged the schedule to make sure we got everything in before we had to shut down the reception.

So many of our guests have since told me in conversation how great Mitch was and that he is a spectacular DJ. I agree - Mitch is amazing at what he does and working with him was such a pleasure.

We cannot thank Mitch enough for making our wedding truly memorable and fun. Hire Mitch - you cannot go wrong!

Mitch was Awesome!!! I didn't have to worry about a thing. He kept everyone involved and on the dance floor. Mitch knew how to keep the party going. I was worried about getting all my daughter's friends out dancing, no worries here. Mitch kept them interested and involved and made it a memorable party that no one will forget. We tried to plan a wedding in a very short amount of time. Unfortunately, we let some things wait until the last minute. The DJ happened to be one of them. We had some meetings with Mitch from Mix it Up to make a plan for our night, and he asked us about songs. We did not give him much to work with. The day of the event we were very overwhelmed with everything going on. Mitch showed up early to set up and spoke with us. He said he would make it very special. He ended up completely running the show. He was awesome. From the timing of everything so it flowed smoothly. The millions of little requests our family and friends made of him. To checking on us and making us feel very comfortable. He even went to the buffet for me to give me a rest. I will have Mitch DJ/MC any event I have in the future. If you want professional service and have a ton of FUN. Go with Mitch and Mix it Up.

Mitch was absolutely fabulous for my daughters Sweet 16. He stayed in touch with us throughout the planning process and had great money saving ideas as we had a limited budget. Mitch also put me in touch with vendors that were within my budget. The uplighting Mitch provided was stunning. I would highly recommend Mitch for all your DJ needs.

Mitch was a great Dj. We couldn't have asked for a better Dj/mc to be at out wedding. Due to last minute hiring itch we didn't give him to much to work with as far as music,but he did a great job as we left it up to him since we had too many other things to deal with to get everything In order for our special day.

It's been almost 2 weeks that we had my daughter's Quinces party and people are still talking about it!! That goes to show what kind of party it was!! Thanks to Mitch!!!!!! He kept the party alive and interacted with the teens (my daughter loved him) everyone loved Mitch and his high energy!

WOW!! Mitch from Mix It Up DJ's was fantastic. He worked with us every step of the way and made sure that our reception was rocking THE ENTIRE NIGHT! Our Event was held at the Country Club of Coral Springs on January 28, 2012. A year has gone by, how quick the time passes, but the memories continue to bring smiles to our faces. I booked Mitch for my June 4th wedding. Mitch made sure that everything ran smoothly even when we were running a little over on the time. Seeing the room for the first time was amazing. Mitchell did awesome with the blue uplighting in the room. He kept the party moving very smoothly with everything transitioning very well. The party was a huge success. We would definitely recommend him for any upcoming parties.

This DJ was very helpful and professional in all aspects of start up and execution for our ceremony. He was knowledgeable in what it takes to run an event and what needs to be done and when. He provided a key element song list questionnaire (i.e. first dance, guest entrance into reception, songs to hear through the night, etc.) but did not play all the songs specified.

After we provided requested correspondence within the time frame allotted, he responded inappropriately thinking we were a different couple.

Mitch responds quickly and will talk out every detail with you. He was a very energetic host for our event.

Mitch was a lot of fun with a ton of energy. He played songs that we had previous requested and took requests from guests day of. However Mitch cut off our first dance song multiple times (we had a whole routine for our dance) and he was suppose to introduce my dad and my husband prior to both dances so they could say something. In my opinion, pretty significant parts of the wedding and I was a little disappointed.
