No Worry Night of Fun!
We are the third couple among our friends to have Mix Tape play our wedding. They made everything so EASY! They emcee’d the entire event (provided us the most detailed and helpful form to complete that included things we hadn’t even thought of yet!). Ashlee was great at working the crowd and the entire band brought so much energy to the reception that we couldn’t help but stay on the dance floor ALL night! No Worry Fun Night!
We are the third couple among our friends to have Mix Tape play our wedding. They made everything so EASY! They emcee’d the entire event (provided us the most detailed and helpful form to complete that included things we hadn’t even thought of yet!). Ashlee was great at working the crowd and the entire band brought so much energy to the reception that we couldn’t help but stay on the dance floor ALL night! Must have mix tape!
We were struggling with the budget for a band at our wedding reception. We really wanted to have a live band rather than a DJ. Mix Tape worked with us to give us everything we asked for without an exorbitant price tag. All of our friends thought we paid $20,000+ for the level of entertainment that Mix Tape brought to our reception. I still pinch myself that we were able to have such an amazing band who kept everyone dancing throughout the evening. Mother of the Bride Approved!
Mix Tape was an absolute dream to work with! Even our day-of planner was shocked at how well organized Mix Tape had everything at the reception. They handled emcee, DJ and the live band portions of the evening with ease. We could not have been happier with their professionalism and talent! The BEST live band in Texas!!
You cannot possibly find a better live band for your wedding!!!! From the first inquiry to the night of the wedding, Trey made planning such a breeze. Trey is responsive, professional and beyond talented. Each band member brings so much talent to the entire night. Our wedding guests cannot stop talking about how fun MixTape made the night for everyone. Several guests have asked for their contact as well for future events! Trey and his team set everything up including backstage lighting and made the event look like a true dream. MixTape also learned a song request and truly sound amazing… there is so much talent with this group! Long story short- as a bride you will not regret booking MixTape! Dance the night away!
We had Mix Tape perform at our daughter's wedding in September and we would highly recommend them! It was a pleasure working with Trey. After our first contact I knew we had made the right choice. He walked us through the process, had great suggestions and went above and beyond executing the couple's vision their day. He was professional, accommodating and took care of all the details. The violin and guitar duo for the ceremony performed beautifully. As a band, Mix Tape was engaging and entertaining. Great music with lots of variety, a filled dance floor and a memorable celebration! There were lots of positive comments throughout the evening from wedding guests. Best of all, the bride and groom had a blast and are left with a day filled with great memories. We are really thankful we chose Mix Tape and we would not hesitate to use them in the future!We had Mix Tape perform at our daughter's wedding in September and we would highly recommend them! Booking and Planning - The band is professional, responsive, and flexible. Trey talked us through the different packages the band offered and helped us pick the one that worked best. We both felt that he was personally invested in making sure we had an amazing wedding. The band also committed to learning two new songs and nailed each one! Trey made sure that no question went unanswered.
The Wedding Day - Mix tape arrived on time and worked seamlessly with our coordinator. The MC was lively and thought quick on her feet. The DJ was extremely flexible and even accommodated a literal last-minute change to the father-daughter dance. Last but not least, the band sounded amazing! We got many comments from our guests telling us how great the band sounded!

Mix Tape Band Made Our Wedding POP!
I can't say enough good things about this band! They absolutely MADE our wedding. Weeks afterward, guests were still contacting us about how amazing they were. The band's versatility when it comes to song choice was perfect for our multi-generational and very diverse crowd. They were even able to learn new songs and definitely had a knack for reading the energy of the room. Trey was amazing and worked with us to create the perfect vibe for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. Danced all night!
Band Review
This high energy band will keep your party going all night long! We recently had the pleasure of having Mix Tape, a 5 piece band with two lead vocalists, play our wedding at the end of September. Joey, the male lead singer, was our emcee for the night, including controlling the sound and music for the wedding ceremony. He went above and beyond by having our pep talk with our wedding officiant, who was very nervous performing her first marriage. This band has a huge range and can play everything from Journey to Lizzo to country music. While all of the band members are very talented, the brightest star was the lead female vocalist, Ashlee! Trey, the drummer and band manager, made the booking and the whole process very easy.

I became a HUGE fan of Mix Tape after their performance at a best friends wedding about 3 years ago. When I got engaged at the beginning of this year, one of my top priorities was to get in touch with Mix Tape in hopes of booking them for my August wedding. I was ecstatic when they confirmed their availability, and I booked them immediately. In all honesty, I wasn't expecting anywhere near the level of professionalism or attention that I received from Trey, Mix Tape's manager, over the 8 months leading up to my wedding. I knew they were awesome performers, but as an event planner myself having worked with less-than-organized/attentive performers for previous events, I went in with pretty low expectations. Let me just say, my expectations were FAR exceeded. I was so impressed with the attention to detail, reliable communication and overall pleasing experience I received throughout the planning process. Trey was so helpful, the band was so flexible and their performance, from start to finish, was perfect. Joey, the lead singer, was a BLAST and such a crowd pleaser! Not only did I end up on stage 3 years ago at my friends wedding, I managed to find my way back up there a time or two at my own wedding and it was so much fun! They really have a special way of connecting with the crowd, which was much appreciated by all. They performed a super fun variety of songs pleasing to all tastes. They even managed to inspire my husband and I to hilariously (and embarrassingly) perform an impromptu dance to Purple Rain that was a major crowd pleaser (seriously... people will not let it go haha). Long story short, we highly, highly HIGHLY recommend Mix Tape for any event. Mix Tape was absolutely PERFECT!!! Very professional and easy to work with - and I know I was a challenging bride! LOL. It would have been great if some of my other wedding vendors took my request as serious as Joey and Trey did! They delivered on everything I requested! We researched a lot of bands and ultimately decided to use Mix Tape. Don't waste all your time researching bands like we did. We went to so many bars to watch bands perform - I wish I could have all that wasted time back! If you are looking for a band with an incredible show, energetic, and to thrill your guests, then Mix Tape is your answer. They are definitely the best value in Dallas!!!Mix Tape was absolutely PERFECT!!! Very professional and easy to work with - and I know I was a challenging bride! LOL.
