I'm so glad we chose Mitsuko Floral for my wedding this year! The flowers at my wedding were all so beautiful, fresh, and the look of them were exactly what I had dreamed them to be! Not to mention the team is very professional, always available to talk to us, and very quick at turnarounds of any questions we had throughout the planning and execution of our big day. Everyone we worked with from Mitsuko Floral (Mitsuko herself, Francois, and Mio) were all so personable, even through email, and felt like we were in such good hands especially after our in person flower design sessions which I felt like they really understood my vision/concerns for the wedding. Not only were the flowers very fresh and pretty, but the way the team designed all the floral aspects were just as I've envisioned my flowers to be, and more. I've inquired and compared a few florists before choosing Mitsuko Floral, but I think the overall cost was also super reasonable compared to many in the LA area with what I wanted. Cannot recommend Mitsuko Floral enough! -

I cannot say enough amazing things about Francois, Mitsuko, and the entire team at Mitsuko Floral! If you are planning a wedding or event, look no further. Their arrangements and service FAR exceeded our expectations--they made our wedding weekend magical.
We were looking for something effortless, organic, and a bit wild, and Mitsuko brought that vision to life perfectly. Each piece was so thoughtfully perfect.
When I changed my mind about renting an arch and adjusted our table layouts to fit our brewery reception, Francois was incredibly flexible, patient, and detail-oriented in updating our quotes (we went through a few versions, and he was so sweet about it every time!).
And when a piece went missing at the brewery and Francois personally drove back to our house (through Friday evening traffic!) to ensure the reception was stunning. They truly went above and above and beyond.

Everything exceeded our expectations. From the bouquets to the ceremony arrangements and sweetheart table florals, every detail was thoughtfully designed and beautifully executed, adding so much elegance, color, and warmth to our wedding day. They worked closely with us to stay within our budget and understood our limitations without compromising the overall look and feel we envisioned.
I especially loved my bouquet and the bridesmaids' bouquets, and we absolutely adored the way the pergola arrangements were repurposed for our sweetheart table. It was such a beautiful touch and exactly what we had imagined.
The floral design truly elevated our celebration and helped create the atmosphere we dreamed of for ourselves and our guests. Throughout the entire process, the team demonstrated exceptional talent, care, and attention to detail, making everything feel seamless and stress-free.

Mitsuko did a BEAUTIFUL job with our flowers for our wedding. We decided to work with them for our wedding because my dad has always gotten flowers for my mother from Mitsuko, and they have always been stunning. The Mitsuko Floral team blew it out of the water, and when I saw the table centerpieces on the day of the wedding, I was stunned. They were beautiful beyond what I had imagined/hoped for and were honestly one of my favorite things about our wedding. The team is attentive, a pleasure to work with, and incredibly talented. She was incredibly receptive to our ideas and gave the final florals her own creative twist. About a month before the wedding, we switched up our arch and her team was flexible and able to make the adjustments within our budget. We absolutely LOVED how everything turned out! We booked Mitsuko Floral for our wedding, and their team constructed the most beautiful flower arch we have ever seen! They accommodated our requests really well -- for example, we asked them after the ceremony to take down the arch and use the flowers for the sweetheart table, and they did an amazing job. Overall, the team worked really hard with us to make sure our vision and budget were aligned, we had several back-and-forths with them iterating over what we thought would work best, and they patiently accommodated all of our changes in plans really well. We also want to thank them for helping accommodate a change in venue after our original venue unfortunately burned down in the Altadena fires.
They were super professional and supportive of my partner and I, and we would strongly recommend them to anyone who needs flowers for a special occasion. Their portfolio speaks for itself, and we were very glad to have chosen them for our special day! -

Mitsuko Floral was absolutely incredible. I had a complete vision of what I wanted for our wedding and they not only succeed but also went above and beyond. Their talents are incredible; I had beautiful colorful flowers for my bouquet, our tables, and these amazing tree centerpieces. I could not believe my eyes when I saw them. They also did beautiful floral arrangements around the arch at my venue (Calamigos Oak Room). I could not recommend them more. In addition to the incredible skills, they were beyond nice and patient as I was extremely busy with my schooling and they were able to work around my schedule. The nicest people with the most stunning floral arrangements. I will be using them again for other major events in my life. -

Five stars aren't enough! We worked with Mitsuko Floral for our wedding, and they absolutely nailed it. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. The team was incredibly kind, responsive, and professional, and they took the time to understand our vision fully.
One of the most impressive things was how perfectly they matched our requested color theme--it was spot on, and every arrangement looked cohesive, elegant, and thoughtfully designed. The selection of flowers was gorgeous, and the quality was top-tier.
We really felt like they cared about getting everything right, and it showed in every detail--from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony arch to the reception centerpieces. It all felt so "us" and brought so much life to the entire day.
Not only was the service exceptional, but the value was outstanding. We felt we got so much beauty and professionalism for our budget.

I cannot thank Mitsuko and her floral team enough. We had our wedding in LA but don't live there so we relied on the team's experience.
Mitsuko Floral helped countless couples in the venue we chose, we just filled out the questionnaire, gave them a budget, and gave them some pictures we liked on Pinterest, and that's it. They were able to repurpose some of the flowers from the ceremony at the reception, which I appreciate. -

Our initial consultation with the team was very professional. Mitsuko did the flowers for our son's wedding and they were magnificent. It was a Jewish wedding and the flowers on the chuppah, the bridal canopy, were exquisite as were all of the bouquets and centerpieces. They did a great job repurposing the flowers from the chuppah for the bride and groom's table. Highly recommend them. Pricing was reasonable too. -

Beautiful florals for a beautiful day - choose Mitsuko!
Mitsuko, Francois, and team were wonderful to work with, and created the most beautiful arrangements. She truly is an artist. We had a summer wedding right on the beach -- I'm no expert at florals, and simply asked her to make it tropical, colorful, and happy. She delivered flawlessly. I cannot count how many people came up to me on my wedding day to comment on my bouquet (with congratulations as an afterthought!).
She also very graciously met with me in person (which I preferred vs email or phone), where I told her to ignore most of the inspiration photos I shared with her and asked to just make it happy and colorful -- she took it from there.
If you want beautiful florals for a good price, without knowing a thing about a billybob flower, choose Mitsuko Florals. They will make your vision come to life! -

They truly exceeded our expectations every step of the way.
I requested their services for our wedding really late in the game, but they were willing to work with us and made it so easy and pleasant — during such a stressful planning time. They were always quick to respond and give me detailed feedback and cost estimates. I had a vision for the bouquets, boutonnières and table arrangements — they brought it to life even better than I could’ve imagined.
They helped me pick flowers and plants that were in season, available and within our budget — and that would also complement each other. They delivered them early to our hotel rooms and reception venue. I actually wanted to cry when I saw them. They were beyond perfect — so beautiful and detailed… all the way down to the ribbon. Then they even set them up on the reception tables, carefully placed the loose flowers on our cake, and helped the guys pin on their boutonnières!
The Team at Mitsuko Floral really went above and beyond. They couldn’t have been more helpful and amazing throughout the entire process. I cannot thank or recommend them enough.

I had the pleasure of working with Mitsuko Floral for my wedding, and I can't recommend them enough. This small business in Torrance was an absolute joy to work with, and every person I interacted with was incredibly helpful and happy to make the experience as smooth and easy as possible.
Francois and Mio were both a delight. Mio met with me and my fiancé and took the time to get to know us and our vision for the wedding. I had a specific flower in mind, and she was able to create an arrangement that incorporated that flower, along with all the colors I was looking for and some that I hadn't even considered. They were able to bring so much elegance and an elevated style to our wedding and reception that truly set the tone for our entire event.
I was also impressed with how flexible they were. They were able to replace one flower, due to the cold weather, for an even more beautiful one in the final arrangements, which had a huge impact on the overall look and feel. The team was very open to a few last-minute additions, and they were prompt with any responses to questions.
On the day of the wedding, the floral team who delivered and arranged the flowers were efficient and amazing to watch. They were precise and careful with all the flowers, treating them with so much care. They assembled the arch at the ceremony with such skill. Our guests thought the flowers were absolutely gorgeous. I received so many compliments on them!

My wife, Leah, and I really appreciate the "go the extra mile" service by both Francois-san and Mitsuko-san for making our wedding ceremony and reception so beautiful and special.
Their flowers are exceptionally fresh, arrange them beautifully, and priced so reasonably. They return calls and emails right away, we really didn't have anything to worry about, and leave it with these pros to do their finest job.
The service was very personable, and they are so honest with their opinions and chime in for great floral advice.

Exceeded Expectations!
We went with Mitsuko Floral as we didn’t have to compromise on anything we wanted for our budget! We chose to do ZERO mock-ups which was nerve wracking. But they literally KILLED IT. Exceeded our expectations and everyone, even guests at the resort we had our wedding, were in love with everything! Our crescent arch was the star of the show! And for me, I LOVE thistle. Mio and the team at Mitsuko Floral were a pleasure to work with and did an absolutely amazing job with all of our flower arrangements for our wedding. So easy to work with!
I worked with Mio to help bring our wedding day vision to life, back in Jan/Feb 2020 (right before COVID) for our May 2021 wedding. We had to postpone to Oct 2021 and Mio was so accommodating throughout the process! Fast-forward to the wedding day, our florals were absolutely beautiful!! Mio will take the time to understand what kind of vibe/vision you are going for AND will help you stick to your budget without trying to tack on all these extras. Planning a wedding from 2K+ miles away is hard enough and putting COVID times on top of it only increases the difficulty and tension. I had such a wonderful experience working with Mitsuko Floral for my wedding! If you have a vision that you can explain to them or a picture of what you want, they can make it happen for you. Mio was great to work with. She knew exactly what I wanted, was quick to reply to e-mails and so patient and accommodating to changes we had to make due to COVID.
Mitsuko is very meticulous and makes sure everything is presented perfectly. Due to logistics, she was not able to setup at our site but made sure to explain how everything should be properly transported, cared for and laid out. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does and puts maximum effort into making your special event look it’s best! I would highly recommend her for all your floral needs! -

My husband and I cannot help but sing our praises to countless family and friends after working with Mitsuko and her team for our January 2020 wedding. We were utterly impressed at their creativity in executing our vision of a wintery wedding and were thrilled at how our arrangements came together.
To curate a wedding sans white orchids and large white roses with such ease using the combination of pine cones, white amaryllis, wax flowers and camellia leaves along with the fragrant touches of stephanotis was the ultimate perfect touch. We also appreciated how Mitsuko made every effort to reduce waste and reuse items whenever possible.

I originally found Mitsuko floral on instagram. They had previously done flowers for our reception venue and after scrolling through their feed, I knew they were the perfect florist for me. Mitsuko and her team have a very clean consistent look to all their work. I found that every time they posted a new wedding they'd done I loved the florals. Mio worked with me to keep the florals around my budget even with our date changing to right before Valentines' day. She was timely in her responses and offered great suggestions of flowers we could use that would still look nice but achieve the look I wanted. When we met in person she ensured that she saved photos I had been using as inspiration so they would have visuals on hand. The day of the wedding I knew I wouldn't even have to think about her team cause I knew they're work would be impeccable. At one point I walked through our reception venue and was blown away by how close they made all the arrangements to what I envisioned. The color palette was absolutely perfect. They incorporated the burgundy color I love so much with Dahlias and spray roses. For a neat twist they added some earl grey roses for a unique lavender gray color. The centerpieces were all nice and organic looking without appearing messy. The size of the arrangements was perfect for the tables. They even replicated the florals on our cake from a photo i'd found on pinterest. It almost looked identical. I cannot praise Mitsuko and her team enough for their wonderful work on our flowers. Her years of experience definitely show and you won't go wrong by hiring her and her team for your wedding. Her teams attention to detail is unparalleled. -

So this review is LONG overdue. Working with Mitsuko, Francois, and Mio has been one of the highlights of my wedding planning process. From the moment I messaged Mitsuko Floral, I was immediately impressed by how engaged, responsive and personable Francois and the team were. I knew right away that I was in good hands. One of the main factors that drew me in, after quote shopping at numerous places, was how reasonable their prices are. Having no clue how much wedding florals cost, I initially had A LOT of asks but this was ultimately the only shop that could fit my vision in my budget.
Looking back on it, I couldn't be more grateful to have found this team. The floral pieces at my wedding were beyond stunning and beautiful, an absolute work of art. They were able to fully bring my vision to life and everything completely exceeded my expectations. I think the pictures speak for themselves. -

Nothing less than AMAZING!
I stumbled upon their profile on The Knot and so thankful that I did. Mitsuko Floral was nothing but warm, supportive, and flexible with all my wedding floral needs. I personally worked with Mio and she was amazing -such a pleasure working with, very easy going but professional. She valued my thoughts and opinions, listened to all my needs and wants, big or small, and catered to how I envisioned my florals to be for my big day. I honestly felt special every time I spoke to Mio and genuinely appreciated how she made the planning for my florals a breeze. Also, communication was effortless and always received prompt responses whenever I reached out and their execution was flawless.
Now, let's talk about my flowers. My bouquet was GORGEOUS and my jaws literally dropped when they were delivered to my hotel room. I couldn't be more happy with how they turned out and I fall in love with them every time I see them in pictures. I received endless compliments of how beautiful the floral arrangements were and how color combinations meshed so well together with our color theme and the venue. The only thing I requested to have in my arrangements were succulents and some greenery and the rest was left to them to do their magic. Towards the end of the night, our guests took home all the centerpieces (without notice), not one left behind and we had 21 tables. The amount of complements received shows how much they truly know their flowers, arrangements, and combinations.
With all that said, I highly, highly recommend them and encourage you to check out their work on Instagram. For any future floral needs, for my friends or myself, I know and definitely will always recommend Mitsuko Floral. -

Mitsuko Floral provided unbelievable service and impeccable florals for our wedding. Our guests were blown away (as were we!). They listened to what we really wanted, were willing to be flexible when we would change our minds or request new additions to our contract. Flower arrangement
I love everything about my flower arrangements. Mitsuko guided me and my husband on choosing the perfect selection based on our theme and our favorite flowers. My bridal bouquet is the best and exactly how I pictured it. My husband also loved his boutonnière that he designed with Mitsuko. They were very professional and Francois was always available anytime we had questions. I didn’t have to worry about anything or stress about anything because they handled everything beautifully! I highly recommend them and their work. For me they are the best! -

Oh. My. Goodness. I cannot even begin to express how much I loved working with Mitsuko Florals for my June wedding. From the very first email communication, they were so professional, communicative, helpful, and they just *got it*. They turned my Pinterest board into reality, and I couldn’t have imagined it going any better. They had fantastic suggestions of which arrangements from the ceremony could be repurposed for cocktail hour and the reception, and everything just went so smoothly. Meeting with Mio and Mitsuko to go over expectations and visions, I had no doubt they would execute the wedding beautifully, and they did just that. They did all of our bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and ceremony/reception decor, and it was all so elegant and cohesive. There are some wedding vendors I felt the need to hover over a little bit more than others, but with Mitsuko they did everything I could have thought of without any managing on our end. I would happily work with Mitsuko again, and I HIGHLY recommend them for any event florals you may need. Thank you so much for everything! -

Mitsuko Floral is the best in the game!
Having worked in event planning in my younger days, I have worked with many florists in a variety of price ranges, styles, etc.
Francois will likely be your main contact and he is amazing! Super responsive with emails and really takes the time to get to know you. Now keep in mind, Mitsuko floral is strictly about the business, there is no fancy storefront, they work minimally and rent warehouse space, but this does not in any way affect the amazing work they do.
First and foremost, finding someone who would respect my floral budget without being overly pushy was important to me, often vendors try to over sell you on options but Mitsuko doesn't do that, if you have a floral inspiration board they can definitely make it happen and make suggestions on how to make any occasion you're planning as beautiful as it can be. They have worked in almost every venue in Southern California as far as I can tell which is perfect because they already understood the layout of my venue which I LOVED. It was one less thing for me to worry about that the florist wouldn't know where to go or what to do but they didn't need to ask me a single question all day, they were punctual, professional and like ninjas in the night barely visible. They seemingly swooped in, made the space beautiful and disappeared.
I will undoubtedly hire them again in the future should I need any professional floral needs. Mitsuko floral is simply amazing with their superior customer service (as last minute head count changes, changed our layout a bit, they accommodated just perfectly) and knowledge in the field you cannot trust another floral vendor more than than them. -

Choosing Mitsuko Floral was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very first meeting, they listened to our vision and gave great advise. They were willing to work with our budget and always came up with suggestions to cut cost without sacrificing the quality and look. I have quite a bit of revisions throughout the process, and the team was always very responsive and updated the worksheet along the way to show us the change of detail and the cost. Everything was delivered promptly on the day of and the set up was seamless. The flowers turned out so beautiful that even the wedding coordinator at Wayfarers Chapel kept on asking me who the flower vendor was so she could refer them to her niece who was planning a wedding! The entire team from Mitsuko was extremely professional and friendly. Wedding planning could be stressful, but Mitsuko Floral truly makes it a hassle-free process. Do yourself a favor and hire them - you won't regret it! -

Janis Sent on 09/22/2018We discovered Mitsuko Floral on the Preferred Vendors List of the Los Angeles Athletic Club, the location of our daughter’s wedding reception.
Our daughter’s wedding ceremony was held at a church 20 miles from the reception location. At the initial consultation, Mitsuko and her assistant, Francois suggested options for decorating the church and as a cost saving, using the church flowers for decorating the reception venue. Mitsuko and her assistant Francois are models of efficiency. They visited the church the very next day to count the number of pews for the aisle flowers.
The entire process of decorating the church and moving the flowers to the Athletic Club went without a wrinkle, even after a funeral was planned two hours before the wedding. Mitsuko and team were able to handle the hour shortened preparation time at the church without a problem.
The floral decorations in the church and the venue were beautiful, and stunningly arranged. The bridal, maid of honor bouquets, corsages, and boutonnières were just as beautiful, and exactly what our daughter had envisioned. We recommend without reservation Mitsuko Floral. Mitsuko and her team are the epitome of professional, accommodating, mindful of budget, punctual, and gracious in every aspect of the planning and execution process. As many guests remarked again and again, the flowers were beautiful!!!

Andrew Sent on 09/15/2018We went with Mitsuko Floral for our September Wedding. My wife saw some of their work on instagram and they were really highly rated and reviewed online. We met with Francois and Mitsuko and realized we had to book them. They are super professional, really nice, and very flexible. I mainly coordinated with Francois and it was insane how quickly he would respond to my emails! Throughout the process, Francois was very great about providing different options and recommendations without seeming pushy. We ended up adding a bunch of stuff and went through FIVE iterations of the quote haha and Francois was a pleasure throughout all of it!
The day of, Mitsuko and her team got to the venue right when they said they would and hit the ground running. Her and her team did so much amazing work! A lot of the guests complimented my wife on the flowers and most importantly, my wife was sooo happy with the arrangements that they had done. We ended up foregoing a sample arrangement (which was a little scary) but the final product was absolutely stunning.
I would not hesitate to recommend Mitsuko Floral to any couple that's looking for a florist! -

Amelia Sent on 08/17/2018Words cannot express how blown away we are by Mitsuko Floral! Our day was truly magical and we believe the flowers played the big role! They were beautiful! Flowers have not really been our thing, We just want the ones that look good, smell good and didn’t cost a ton. Mitsuko and Francois met all of our standards and some. We first met at our venue, so they could get an idea of the space and the surrounding landscape. We showed Mitsuko and Francois pictures of different flowers, sizes and shapes. We also discussed what type of flower would fit best with what our budget was. They helped us with which flowers are typically more expensive and in season. On the day of they built the garland centerpieces, the arbor bundles, lined the aisles with garland on top of the traditional flowers (bouquet, bridesmaids bouquet, boutonnières, wrist corsage etc) They stayed for the ceremony and helped create the reception before leaving. They truly made our day and my bridal bouquet was everything I could have imagined and more!!!!! This is not a huge floral company, this is a small family business doing GREAT WORK!!!!

My bouquet is gorgeous and more than my exceptions!!! It's really huge undone style with lots of greenery and I love it sooooo much. I brought pictures of the flowers that I wanted, and informed her of the design or look I was going for. She was very detailed and specific on each piece that I was so excited to book with her seeing how organized she was. During the course of the wedding planning, I have been working with Francois via email, and have sent numerous messages regarding requests and adjustments to my order. He was nothing but helpful and professional, and promptly responded to all of my requests and questions. On the day of the wedding, my florals turned out so amazing. My bouquet was beautifully made and all my floral arrangements at the reception were gorgeous. Working with them was one of the best decisions we made.

Janet Sent on 01/31/2018I did not have a wedding coordinator and my contact at Mitsuko Floral, Francois led me every step of the way through the fantastic mystery of arrangements, bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres! He was so patient and responded promptly to my dozens of e-mails. His suggestions were well thought out, always in my best interest, and he was careful to let me know price options when there were alternatives. On the day of the wedding, Mitsuko and her staff arrived well before the appointed time so that they were ready to bring in the flowers when I was ready. They were very accommodating to make a last-minute change to the lay-out of the red carpet and provided guidance to the rental vendor when we needed to change the lay-out of the ceremony chairs. The flowers were over-the-top exquisite. I had chosen a tropical theme with burgundy flowers and the artistry of Mitsuko and her crew was remarkable. The venue was a challenging location, as the outdoor ceremony was at the ocean, and we weren't sure if it would be too windy for an arch. Mitsuko suggested hanging floral arrangements on the railing behind were the wedding party stood. They could sway in the wind, but would still be safe. After the ceremony Mitsuko and her staff quickly moved them to the cocktail tables so that I didn't need to purchase five more arrangements. Today is day 5 after the wedding and the flowers are every bit as fresh as they were when they were delivered to our wedding venue. I found Mitsuko Floral a few years ago on YELP and am so fortunate to have found such a gem in the South Bay area. Pictures certainly can't do the real thing justice, but hopefully they will give other brides an idea of the beauty of our day - due primarily in fact to Mitsuko Floral and her team! (In addition to the 17 arrangements, Mitsuko provided 1 bridal spray, 1 maid of honor bouquet, 7 usher/groomsman boutonnieres, and 5 corsages-I arranged ahead of time which guests would take home flowers-they were thrilled!

There are no words to thoroughly describe them. They were so easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process - they always responded to our emails within 24 hours, even during their busiest season (even if it's just to let us know they got our email and would answer our questions after an event).
They are really accommodating - whether it was working within our budget or their willingness to meet with us wherever was most convenient for us. Even though we couldn't fully articulate our vision, Mitsuko innately understood what we wanted. The flowers they created for our ceremony and reception were beautiful! It was far beyond our expectations!
Mitsuko, Mio and their team on the day of our wedding were professional and executed our vision perfectly. They have become like a member of the family and we are so happy they were a part of our wedding day. They even sent us photos they took after the wedding to hold us over until we got our photos from our photographer! It is little details like this that sets them apart.

From the first time we contacted them, to couple meet ups, till the actual wedding date, they were professional, patience, well thought, and extremely helpful. My auntie paid them as a part of my wedding gift. Since she lived out of state, they managed to contact her and accommodate all her requests.
We had so much compliments from the table flower arrangement and my bridal bouquet. Not to mention that their price was very reasonable! They go above and beyond expectations!
