  Mitch was absolutely amazing for our June 30th wedding. From the very beginning, he was very responsive and professional, and so willing to answer all of our questions. Mitch was our favorite vendor, because of his complete attention to detail, his immense experience, and artistic eye. On one of our first planning calls, Mitch helped us write out the entire timeline for our wedding, from start to finish. He is incredibly organized, and his planning emails and calls kept us at ease, knowing that everything was planned out to the finest detail. One of the best things about Mitch is how efficient he is! We had all of our family portraits finished in half an hour, allowing us to go enjoy our cocktail hour. I cannot recommend Mitch highly enough!!! Book this photographer, you will not be sorry!

  Besides choosing to marry each other, choosing Mitch as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made concerning our wedding. My husband’s sister used him on recommendation and passed him along to us; what a wedding gift! He is a dream to work with and his photographs are natural, don’t look posed and are STUNNING. We got married at The Sagamore and he so understands the little nooks of that resort and took amazing scenic photographs as well; he is definitely an Adirondack photographer! From the initial phone call, we knew he was the one for us and he understood our vibe completely. He is incredibly organized, and built a wedding timeline for us so detailed that even our wedding planners commented on it, saying “wow, you didn’t even really needs us.” (yes , yes, we did, but that’s for another review ☺ ).
  
  Mitch is so easy to get along with, blends in, and lets you enjoy the day. One of our favorite wedding memories is when Mitch had us walk down to the lakeside on Lake George right at the perfect sunset moment, which of course he planned ahead to the minute. The pictures are BEAUTIFUL but it was also a wonderful time to just breathe and enjoy each other and disappear from our reception together for a few moments. Mitch understood that. Thank you!
  
  Creating our album with him was joy. He really took his time and listened to us, while using his incredible eye to craft us the most beautiful representation of our day. We just got it in the mail and are blown away; it is heirloom quality and brought us to tears. We loved intermingling some beautiful scenic photos Mitch took of the day with our personal photos; it brought us right back to that wonderful day!
  
  Can you tell we are happy with him? In all, his pricing was unbelievably reasonable for the quality and attention you are getting and getting photo rights included in his package was really wonderful. Thank you Mitch; the heart you put into your work is so apparent and was very very appreciated.

  Mitch was absolutely amazing to work with. He was so patient with us and had great creative suggestions for our photos. His pictures came out beautifully!! We could not have asked for a better photographer. We would recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch photographer!

  I count booking Mitch as our photographer as one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. From the first time we spoke on the phone, I could tell that he was the right photographer for us. We were drawn to his ability to capture candid moments as they happened. We really loved the work that he showcased on his website and, now having seen our own photos, we are thrilled with them. My initial reaction is two-fold. First, Mitch captured the emotion of our wedding. He is certainly talented and experienced in the way you would want your photographer to be - composition, giving direction, lighting, etc - but he's also able to read people and situations on the fly. He really took the time to "get" us - as people and as a couple - before we even met in person on the day of, and it absolutely shows in the photos he took of us and our guests. Secondly, I still can't believe that one person could be in so many places at once. This is something we couldn't really appreciate by viewing photos of others' weddings, but it was immediately apparent when we had lived through the day ourselves. You do not need multiple photographers if you have Mitch. The day of, he moved nearly unnoticed around the event capturing so many fleeting, beautiful moments that otherwise might have been lost. As a result, flipping through the photos is really like reliving the day. We planned our wedding from afar, but working with Mitch was easy in this respect. We appreciated his regular email planning series early-on and the clear-cut and seamless process for planning out the day's photography. Working with Mitch, more than any other individual vendor, really gave the day an overarching structure. Finally, his turn-around time was amazingly fast. I don't know anyone who has seen their photos as quickly after the event as we did. All in all, you should definitely book Mitch - you'll be so happy that you did!

  Mitch was great from Day One, and was always very responsive and professional. He also took our engagement photos. His guidance helped us pull together our timeline for our wedding day, and the planning was broken down step-by-step and spaced out in increments. This helped us stay motivated to get all the planning done ahead of time, while never becoming too overwhelming (especially with all the other planning involved with a wedding!). On our wedding day he kept things moving, while also being unobtrusive. I received numerous compliments from family and guests after the wedding about his professionalism, his great direction-giving, and his kind demeanor. He was very timely with providing us with preliminary photos on Facebook, and then with our online album and digital copies. We absolutely love the photos, and love the photojournalistic style he uses. Our family and friends also love the photos and have complimented us on the unique style of his photography. We felt very comfortable taking pictures during our First Look and engagement session - he provides good direction, but just captures the moments as they happen. Nothing is staged or overly posed, and the photos reflect this naturalness. We are so glad he was our photographer and would recommend him to anyone.

  My fiance and I decided we’d select our wedding photographer together, as there was something symbolic about jointly deciding who we’d trust to document our marriage. Conversations about style and approach quickly revealed we wanted to work with someone straightforward - who would capture the spirit and tone of the day without too much artifice. Luckily, my fiance is a smart dude who found Mitch online, and started the conversation with him via email. Now, one week after our wedding and having just received the sneak preview shots as I write this review…I can say with 110% enthusiasm that we will forever be grateful we hired Mitch as our wedding photographer.
  
  From our first conversation, Mitch was careful and thorough in asking questions and ensuring we were “on the same page.” He is professional, knowledgeable, and lacks pretense. We had another series of phone calls & emails preceding the wedding in order to be sure Mitch had accurate lists of family portraits (he happened to be incredibly flexible in dealing with last minute family issues - ill grandmother, the non-showing cousins, etc.) Mitch is fun, friendly, and immediately put me at ease - a near impossible feat for an anxious and photo-phobic bride.
  
  If you are looking for beautiful images of real emotion on your wedding day - please hire Mitch as your photographer. We will forever be glad we did!

He never once made us feel worried that our photos would be anything but perfect. The ceremony went from inside to outside in a matter of minutes before the ceremony started. Mitch grabbed his stuff and kept on doing his thing. We absolutely are in love with our photos and appreciate all the hard work and love that went into them. We have some amazing shots of family members that hate getting their picture taken- due to his style and ninja like skills no one even noticed him taking photos.   Mitch was VERY professional and attentive to all of my needs! Not to mention the photos are FLAWLESS... he caught moments that I didn't even realize were happening! When I look at my wedding photos you can literally see the love through the pictures!! If you are looking for "caught in the moment" photos... I HIGHLY recommend Mitch!

  My husband and I worked with Mitch for both our engagement photos and wedding. He was extremely professional and easy to work with from out of town. We had numerous Skype calls & emails to plan exactly how our wedding would go in terms of the the photography schedule and it was perfect - we even had extra time! The family formals were done efficiently and beautifully, leaving us time to focus on the more informal, photojournalist style we wanted to capture our wedding, but still have the formal pictures for our families.
  
  Mitch also traveled to NYC to do our engagement photos, which made them much more personal. We had a fantastic experience working with him and we would highly recommend him. His work and professionalism really stands out - he captured every moment we could have wanted from our wedding and more. As one guest at our wedding said, every time she saw a special moment that she should thought would make a great photo, Mitch was already there.

The family formals were done efficiently and beautifully, leaving us time to focus on the more informal, photojournalist style we wanted to capture our wedding, but still have the formal pictures for our families.
  
  Mitch also traveled to NYC to do our engagement photos, which made them much more personal. We had a fantastic experience working with him and we would highly recommend him. His work and professionalism really stands out - he captured every moment we could have wanted from our wedding and more. As one guest at our wedding said, every time she saw a special moment that she should thought would make a great photo, Mitch was already there.

  Mitch is an amazing photographer. He was easily accessible through e-mail for all my crazy "bridezilla" moments. He has an awesome personality that made him so easy to work with. He has a true photojournalistic style that captures all of the pure emotions of the day. He was punctual and organized throughout the entire day. We were on a strict time schedule and had requested special photos. He took the time to plan our day in advance to ensure that he captured the photos that were requested and that we were in the places we had to be at the right times. Also, we didn't have to wait long to receive our online gallery, proof book, or the finished digital files that we ordered.

  Mitch was great to work with. Always informative, and on time. Super professional! He was great the day of the wedding. He got everything in line. He was on top of the weather, and was right there when you needed him, but otherwise you didn't see him. There were a few shots that I saw that were amazing! Can't wait to see the rest! I would definitely recommend him!!

  Mitch is absolutely fantastic. He was a dream to work with leading up to the wedding and on the day of the event as well. He managed the family pictures SO well and got the most beautiful pictures of me and my husband throughout the day. He is really good at capturing the entire feeling of the event - in a very natural way. Our pictures are amazing and our family and friends are still talking about them 8 months later. We wish we could have him come to all of our parties! :)

His photos speak for themselves - they are beautiful and capture the emotions of the day absolutely PERFECTLY. I have heard horror stories of couples not receiving their photos until months, even a year, after their wedding, but Mitch turned around our slideshow two weeks after, and three weeks after that we had our proofs and two discs FULL of photos to choose from.
  
  Our friends and family have commented not only on how absolutely beautiful the photos are, but also on how professional and fun Mitch was on the day of the wedding. As for my husband and I, we hardly noticed him all day, and yet when we look through the galleries, he captured every little detail that we want to remember. I can't recommend Mitch highly enough.

Mitch is well worth every cent of his price, and I think he is BETTER than many photographers who charge twice as much. We were thrilled with the photography, and found that we had a ton of pictures we weren't even aware were taken. Mitch is very flexible and will accomodate pretty much whatever you want to do. He's a great talent, and another photographer friend of mine was doubly impressed at the photos when she realized that he did all of his work himself, without an assistant.
