Mitch is one of a kind. He is warm and kind yet hilarious and fun. He was perfect for my ceremony and it seems as he was meant to be the minister for us as we will literally never forget this man.

Elopement at the Jersey Shore

From the moment we spoke with Mitch, we knew he was our guy. He is incredibly dedicated to the services he provides. We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant for our small wedding with just our parents at a waterfront property at the jersey shore. Mitch is hilarious and has such good energy. He made our ceremony engaging and so memorable. His fees are also very reasonable. I would recommend him for any type of wedding!

Amazing!!!

Mitch was a delight to work with. He and I connected immediately when we first talked. He's so experienced and is so thoughtful about how he performs ceremonies. He suggested things that my mom would like (who originally wanted us to get married in a church) like a prayer at the beginning of the ceremony and a remembrance for my father who passed away. He was also hilarious and had the crowd laughing at several points of the ceremony. He'll work with you to to personalize your ceremony in any way you choose and make recommendations to make it even better than you thought. 10/10!

A Wonderful Experience

Mitch the minister performed our ceremony, and we couldn’t have asked for a better officiant. After seeing his glowing reviews online, we contacted him to discuss our wedding ceremony. From the start, Mitch was thorough, detailed, and incredibly funny. We wanted a ceremony that was anything but boring, and Mitch delivered perfectly.

Simply amazing

There are not enough words to describe how happy we are with our decision to hire Mitch for out wedding. He is probably the most highly-rated minister in the tri-state area, and it's for good reason. He is a true professional. We had several phone meetings prior to the wedding to discuss the flow/style of service we were looking for, and he always had the perfect answer/recommendation for each moment. During the ceremony, he created the perfect mix of sincerity, love, fun, and light-heartedness. Our guests are still talking about Mitch and how great he was.

Wonderful experience!

We are so happy we selected Mitch as our officiant! It was really enjoyable working with him for our wedding from planning to the day of. He really got us and the vibe we were going for. He kept things both light and funny as well as sentimental. His experience really shows as he simultaneously performed the wedding and made sure the photographers got good shots. The best!!!

When we were planning our wedding, we knew we wanted a unique ceremony that would feel like "us". We reached out to our venue for recommended officiants, and Mitch's name just stood out like, ok this guy will be fun.. as soon as my husband looked at Mitch's website he was so excited to reach out to him, and then we had a zoom call and I was absolutely sold..Mitch was funny, charming, and above all the kindest and most realistic person.. he asked meaningful questions and understood where we were coming from and the goal of our ceremony.. we are both Catholic but didn't want a super religious ceremony, nothing stuffy. We wanted people to laugh and cry and then laugh some more..our ceremony was perfect, and that was because Mitch made both of us feel so comfortable and he made us genuinely laugh. All of our guests kept saying how amazing he was and I couldn't agree more..I say this with all my heart, if you are looking for a one of a kind guy, and someone who will just get you and your partner, you need to get hitched by Mitch!

One of a Kind

Mitch is one of a kind. He is hilarious but also has a big heart. His ceremony was the talk of cocktail hour. I had a friend tell him that whenever she finds her husband he has to marry her even if he’s retired. Your guests will laugh and cry and never forget your wedding. He is the best!

Hire Mitch Now!!

Mitch was absolutely the best from the day we spoke on FaceTime during COVID, through all my questions and getting to know each other to our perfect wedding day! He went above and beyond expectations. People are still talking about how amazing, funny, and yet still mushy he was. He just had the perfect touch on everything. He was like an ice breaker, that made you laugh and feel comfortable (as it can get nerve wrecking up there at the altar with everyone staring at you!). He came to the rehearsal as well for a tiny fee that was absolutely worth it! I am so happy that we chose to be hitched by Mitch!

Amazing officiant!

Mitch the Minister was amazing! He really helped us out during the planning phase and was super responsive whenever we had questions. He arrived to the venue early and coordinated with us quickly. Before the ceremony, he put us both at ease before we got started. My wife and I wrote our own vows and he held onto to them for us before the ceremony so we wouldn't have to worry about them. During the ceremony, he made us as well as all of our guests laugh and made sure everyone had a good time. It was a very touching ceremony and he did a great job. We would both recommend Mitch for anyone's ceremony!

Perfect Ceremony

You know all the reviews written about Mitch being funny and personable? Well they’re all true! Mitch was HILARIOUS. Everyone loved him, we were laughing throughout our entire ceremony. It wasn’t awkward or boring. . I cannot say enough good things about him. We had two meetings with him because he really wanted to get to know us before he married us. Our first meeting was at a diner and we literally talked for hours. He showed up on time, mingled with guests and was just overall perfect for our ceremony. Def recommend. See the picture attached? He stopped the wedding to make sure our photographers got this picture because he knew how much it meant to us. It was hilarious and a moment to remember forever!

Mitch the Minister was everything we hoped for!

Hiring Mitch was one of the best decisions we made for our ceremony! He was always available to answer our questions before the wedding and spoke on the phone with us a few times to go over all of the details of the ceremony. He was very accommodating with all of our ideas..

We had our wedding on Oct. 25, 2019 in Spring Lake NJ. Mitch ran through a rehearsal with us the day before and even joined us for dinner where he learned a lot about us and our families and friends and used that to personalize our ceremony even more.

He made us all laugh and cry during our ceremony and knew the exact time to crack a joke to stop the tears. We had numerous people come up to us during the wedding to comment on the amazing job the Mitch did during the ceremony. We 100% recommend him to anyone looking for an amazing ceremony!

Mitch is the man!

We cannot thank Mitch enough for easing our nerves up at the alter on our wedding day. From the beginning, we really enjoyed Mitch's sense of humor and devotion to his craft. Hilarious and Amazing!

During our first meeting with Mitch, he actually made me cry because I was laughing so hard. I knew from that moment that he would be officiating our wedding. He is so funny and so down to earth that I can't think of a single reason of why someone would choose anyone else over him. During our ceremony, I started choking up and crying and he helped me get through it by making me laugh. He really knows how to read the crowd. It's rare to go to a wedding ceremony that you end up laughing and crying. Our guests were all cracking up because it is after all..a celebration! And he made sure everyone knew that. I can't recommend him enough. You can not go wrong with Mitch.

Best Decision Made!

My husband and I just got married on September 21, 2019.
Mitch was amazing throughout the whole wedding planning process for my husband and I! Mitch was so light-hearted and funny with our ceremony, we could not have imaged it being performed by anyone other than him. My family is still talking about how funny he was and how amazing he was during the ceremony.
When I contacted Mitch about what could we could do for my grandma since she was put on hospice and would no longer be able to attend the ceremony, Mitch with no issues offered to do a small intimate ceremony at my house for my grandmother.
Words genuinely can not describe how great of a man Mitch is. We love Mitch, and we know you will too!

Beyond words.

"How long have you known Mitch for?" "He's a friend of the family to know you guys that well, right?"
These were all common questions we were asked after Mitch the Minister performed our marriage ceremony on 9.21.19. No, Mitch is not a longtime family friend or relative. We only met with him in a New Jersey diner once about a year and a half before our wedding. All of that goes to show how incredible he really and truly is.
MItch's easy going demeanor can put anyone instantly at ease, lending to a relaxed atmosphere on what can be a very hectic day. The ceremony itself was perfect. His poignant and heartfelt words brought people to tears, which were then dried as he easily interacted with my groom, myself, our bridal party, and the audience to make everyone laugh. I could not have imagined anyone else performing our ceremony. Mitch the Minister is truly one of a kind in the best possible way, and we cannot thank him enough for giving us a wedding ceremony we will never, ever forget.

Wonderfully joyful!

Mitch ( the Minister ) performed the marriage ceremony for our daughter Jaclyn and her now, husband yesterday in NJ. He was so joyful and performed a wonderful, touching, and lovingly humorous ceremony. Everyone commented to my husband and I how much they enjoyed him! He met with the couple just once but they were so impressed with him that they hired him that day. They are a fun couple, full of life, and his ceremony matched their personalities perfectly. This is your minister, I promise!

From the first time that my husband and I met Mitch, we knew he was going to be perfect to officiate our wedding. Mitch is so good at what he does there was absolutely no question in my mind that he needed me to micro manage anything! He talked with my husband and I about what we see for our ceremony and how we’d like it to go, and then gave us a preview of what he would say. We loved it! My husband was almost moved to tears at our FIRST meeting!

By the time our wedding day came Mitch was even more than we could have hoped for! He was equally funny and moving, which exactly what we wanted ! We didn’t want to have the regular boring ceremony that puts people to sleep, and he definitely delivered! All of our guests coming up to me after the ceremony saying that was the best ceremony they’ve been to, and asking how I found him! (Little do they know all I did was read these awesome reviews here and then setup a meeting to see for myself!)

If you’re considering meeting with Mitch, I absolutely recommend you set that up immediately! You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful Experience

Mitch was absolutely fantastic and such a joy to work with. We originally chose Mitch based on the reviews here and we were not disappointed. We had brunch together where my Fiance and I got to know Mitch and he us so that we could determine if we were a great fit. After bonding over grits we decided that we would not want anyone else to perform our ceremony. Mitch was able to put together a perfect ceremony tailored to us. Where do we begin?! Mitch was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He made everything clear and easy to understand about the entire process. Our officiant, Mitch The Minister, was hands down all we could have asked for. From the day we first met, my wife and I just knew that we wouldn’t be disappointed if we picked him to marry us. It felt so right that we even cancelled on another officiant we were suppose to meet later that week, and told Mitch we were set on him to be a part of our special day. Sure enough, till this day our guests speak about how awesome he was and how he had them laughing and crying throughout the ceremony. Call Mitch!! I wish we could give him more than 5 stars! We will be forever grateful to Mitch for making our wedding day unforgettable. From the first phone call, we knew Mitch was the perfect person to join us as husband and wife. Mitch was so responsive and awesome to work with the whole time! We knew Mitch was the one we wanted for our Wedding ceremony when we met him for dinner and he made us laugh. That’s exactly what we wanted! Mitch performed our ceremony last month and all though it was what seemed to be 100 degrees with an outdoor ceremony, he was awesome!! He made the most of it and made everyone laugh with just the perfect amount of lovey dovey stuff! We had multiple comments from our guests on how much they all loved Mitch! I don't even know where to start with Minister Mitch - he was the highlight of our ceremony. He perfectly encompassed an interfaith wedding ceremony where all family members were happy and felt honored in a meaningful way. He was the perfect combination of serious and funny. He had us laughing the entire time while we were at the altar, he certainly made us feel at ease. He knows how to read a crowd and crack a few jokes, but knows how to reel it back in during more intimate moments of the ceremony. Everyone is telling us how lovely our ceremony was with our Minister and we were so proud to have him be a part of our special day in a huge way! Once we hired Minister Mitch, my mind was completely at ease with all things ceremony - and I was able to focus on other aspects. He did not disappoint! Every small detail did not go unnoticed - he knows where to be at what time (moved away for the first kiss so he wasn't in the photos!), he was able to think quickly on his feet and ask us if we wanted to skip the wine ceremony because it was getting late and he knew how important it was to us that we ended on time so our guests were not in the heat for that long. It seriously felt like it was me, my husband and him up there and no one else was watching! Thank you Minister Mitch for your amazing services - and I hope you, your wife and daughter enjoyed dinner in town at The Historic Smithville Inn afterwards!

Having Mitch as our officiant really helped make our wedding day everything we could have hoped for and more. From the minute we met him, we knew we wanted to book him as his love for what he does is so evident. Mitch has such a fun, enthusiastic, and warm personality and truly takes the time to get to know every couple he meets. We immediately connected over our love for rescue dogs, as well as our values behind marriage. It was such a pleasure getting to know him and we felt so confident that he could deliver the ceremony we always dreamed of. On our wedding day, Mitch exceeded every expectation we had! Mitch perfectly combined humor with sentiment into the delivery of our ceremony and captured our love better than we could have ever imagined. All of our guests loved how lighthearted and unique our ceremony was. Mitch even improvised in the best way as it started to lightly rain towards the very end of our ceremony. He still managed to accomplish every aspect of the ceremony that we hoped for and explained the reasoning behind the rain to our guests in the most perfect way. He stated that it was because our relatives up in heaven were crying out of happiness for us. I'm not sure how we stumbled upon Mitch in the planning process, but thank goodness we did. He was fantastic. He makes you feel like you've known him for your entire life. The consultation that you have with him is so welcoming, comforting, and truly customized to the couple. Prior to walking down the aisle I was sick to my stomach with nerves, I actually needed to walk outside for minute. After I finally made it down the aisle is compassion and humor really put all of that to rest. I had TONS of people approach me directly following the ceremony raving about Mitch. We hired Mitch for our wedding on 10/22/2017, and are so happy we did! Our venue let us in late, and even with all the craziness of then both losing and then finding our wedding license, Mitch stayed to marry us with no complaints. I do not know where to start with Mitch. He will make you laugh, he will make you cry, he will threaten to confiscate your guests phones during the ceremony when you ask for an Unplugged Wedding. I told Mitch from the beginning that I cry over everything but he was able to take that nervousness that I had and put me at ease. Our family and friends were so impressed with Mitch. My unmarried guests are looking to book Mitch for their future weddings. He made the ceremony so memorable. During our initial meeting, we had a discussion about silly wedding favors and he inspired me to follow through with doing a donation to two charities on our day to help out some dogs in need (Mitch is a dog person too!). Mitch is truly a professional and worth every penny to make your day special and memorable for years to come.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Minister Mitch! He was our officiant for our ballpark wedding in October 2016 at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater, NJ. From our first phone conversation with Minister Mitch, to our lunch meeting, to our wedding day, Mitch was genuine, humorous, professional, comforting, and helpful. We felt immediately at ease around him and knew that our guests would enjoy the personalized ceremony Mitch created for us. Minister Mitch started our ceremony by quoting the "mawidge" scene from The Princess Bride and did such a fantastic job that our guests were laughing in the stadium seats. Our guests were engaged in our meaningful ceremony and not bored by the "Dearly Beloved, we are gathered here today..." that accompanies most standard ceremonies. After a few minutes into our first meeting with Mitch, we knew right then we were going to book him for our wedding day. In the brief 45 minutes that we spent with him, he moved me from laughter to on the brink of tears and that is exactly what we wanted our wedding ceremony to be like. Mitch rocks! After meeting with him once my husband and I booked him right away. He's so easy to talk to and get along with and knew exactly what kind of ceremony we wanted. There are not enough good things in the world I could say about Mitch. From the moment we met with him he had us laughing and in tears! That’s exactly how our ceremony was too, the whole audience was laughing and crying along with everything Mitch said. It was a ceremony that perfectly fit my husband and my style. He spent so much special time making the audience feel like an important part of the ceremony and the moment, which of course they were. The best part of having Mitch at our wedding was how much of his own emotion and love he pours into the ceremony. Though we only met in order to have him be our officiant, on the wedding day, it truly felt we were old family friends, as if we watched us grow up and find love! Almost every guest, from our friends to our grandparents had something wonderful to say about the ceremony and Mitch. For me as a nervous, excited bride, I’m most thankful to Mitch for making me laugh right away when I reached the alter. That simple joke broke all the tension and nerves I had been holding and it made me realize that the most important moment of my life was happening and I could laugh and cry and smile easily!

Logistically, Mitch was wonderful with communicating with us both via email and phone call. He answered all of our questions, no matter how mundane or random, with patience and detail that we felt so confident about our ceremony by the time the big day came. He also helped walk us through the legal part of getting our marriage certificate.

From the moment we met Mitch, we knew we had found our guy! He was so funny, kind, thoughtful and passionate about love! He was the perfect minister to perform our ceremony and he did not disappoint! He was so easy to work with and lighthearted through out the planning process and brought that lightheartedness into our ceremony. It was sweet and touching with funny moments throughout. Just before walking down the aisle, as I was starting to get a little jittery, Mitch shared that he can close his eyes and still remember his wife walking down the aisle and his face lit up when talking about it, and it made me so excited to share that moment with Jason. From the day Tom and I met Mitch - we knew he was the perfect minister to perform our wedding ceremony. He came highly recommended by a friend and by our photographer- Veronica Yankowski Ligouri , owner of VeroLuce Photography. Mitch performed our wedding ceremony at Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta, NJ on 8/7/16. I came across his services via The Knot/Wedding Wire, and he caught my eye based on stellar reviews. I have to agree! Mitch met with us at a diner near our house in October, and we spent 2 hours chatting. I loved his laid back style, although I have to say, I started getting nervous when he said he doesn't really "write things down"! Leading up to the wedding, we worked together to make sure the ceremony incorporated readings and prayers that were important to us, and reassured me throughout the entire process. He's not your conventional, stuffy officiant and did a great job bringing FUN and personality to our ceremony while keeping it meaningful and emotional. Our wedding was on August 12, 2016 at the Primavera Regency in Stirling NJ. One of my bridesmaids had been to a wedding where Mitch performed the ceremony and she recommended him. We met him a few months before the wedding and immediately felt very comfortable around him. He got to know me and my now husband and was accommodating by meeting us close to where we live. He is very prompt with returning calls and emails and very easy to work with. He helped us choose readings that were perfect for our relationship and the gave us the type of wedding ceremony we wanted to have. He had our guests laughing, crying, and we received nothing but compliments on our ceremony. If you want a ceremony to remember, I highly recommend Mitch the Minister.

We strongly recommend Mitch to officiate your wedding. He was funny at times and kept the crowed engaged. You can tell that he has a lot of experience officiating weddings. He was very natural, didn't sound rehearsed, wasn't reading from a paper. After the wedding we had a number of people come up to us to tell us how great they thought he was. Someone even mentioned that it was great how he was very natural about moving out of the way and moving to the side when we were placing the rings on each other so that the photographer could get a number of pictures of just my husband and I. They commented that they wished their officiant had done the same for them. We are very glad that we picked Mitch to officiate our wedding!

Mitch was amazing, everyone at the wedding was raving about the ceremony, he did such a great job from keeping things serious to also knowing when to lighten up the mood with his humor and personality. From our first meeting, I knew Mitch was going to be perfect. He took the time to get to know my husband and me and understand exactly the kind of ceremony we wanted. The ceremony was funny and light, yet solemn and romantic. He incorporated all of our silly readings, but still made sure the ceremony went smoothly. He is a truly delightful, genuine person, and he made our ceremony absolutely perfect. Thank you for giving me the wedding of my dreams!

I was so happy to hear all of my friends and family compliment me on how sweet our ceremony was. Mitch is a natural speaker and knows how to capture a crowd. He incorporated the perfect amount of sweet and funny to keep everyone’s interest. I was so nervous leading up to the ceremony but once Mitch cracked the ice with a joke I relaxed and enjoyed the moment. He takes the time to get to know his clients. We probably spoke on the phone about 5 times. Once I learned he was a dog lover like myself, a lot of our conversations were dog related. It was nice to chat about things other than the wedding to get to know him a bit. It was nice to feel like he wasn't a stranger on the big day! Thanks Mitch, you surpassed my expectations!

Where do I begin ?!?! Mitch is amazing. We met him for dinner and went over the details of the ceremony. From the moment I met him I knew he had to officiate our wedding. Mitch had everyone laughing at our ceremony but still upholding the sacredness of our marriage. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. I first met Minister Mitch at my friend's wedding, where he was their officiant. I knew from then that I needed to contact him when my day came.

We never met Minister Mitch in person but did have two lengthy Skype sessions with him. He got to know us and what we were looking for and designed the perfect ceremony. A mix between sentimental and humorous. We had several guests come up to us afterwards and say it was the best ceremony they've ever been to. Thank you for making the most important moment of our lives so special and memorable!

From the first day we met Mitch at Starbucks, and spent time talking about our lives together, he was able to paint the picture of our wedding day. This was when it all began to feel real. There was a particular reading we had in mind, and it was when Mitch independently chose this reading for our ceremony that we know we were in the right hands. As we sat in silence listening to these beautiful words, we got a little emotional, and I think we were both able to picture the big day that we would be come husband and wife. We knew that Mitch the Minister was the right fit for us, and that we would have an unforgettable wedding ceremony. The big day was bright and sunshine filled, and Mitch arrived knowing exactly what to do to calm our nerves and keep us at peace, having not seen each other before the walk down the aisle. Mitch truly has a way to connect and create a remarkable wedding day. He made everyone laugh and cry at just the right moments, and even offered a hug when it was needed. After the ceremony was done, we had several engaged friends ask how we had found him and would be so happy to see him again at their own weddings.

What can we say about Mitch... We loved having him as our officiant at our wedding. From the moment we sat down with Mitch at our initial dinner we knew he was the one for us. Upon meeting Mitch, my husband and I knew Mitch was the right officiant for us. He answered all of our questions quickly and efficiently, and made us feel at ease. On the day of our wedding, Mitch kept everyone calm. We are still getting compliments regarding our ceremony. Where do we even begin?? Mitch was recommended highly by our reception location to perform our wedding ceremony. We reached out and after an hour of laughing and talking to Mitch on the phone we set up a date and time to meet in person. We met at a diner and spent over two hours laughing, talking, and eating and knew he was the only one who could do our ceremony justice. When we first met with Mitch we had a set wedding date but after a slight hiccup (other immediate family events) had to move our wedding up by a week. Mitch easily moved our wedding date up in the contract as soon as we had reached out to say, "Oh no! Something happened and we need to switch our date!" When our ceremony arrived Mitch had helped make sure we both were calm and ready to go. He made us laugh before the ceremony began and suffered through the hot, muggy, humid, mid-afternoon heat of June with us. He made us and our guests laugh throughout the ceremony. Tears would spring into my eyes and he'd immediately make us laugh to avoid any ruined make-up. My husband still laughs about how Mitch was kind enough to dab off the sweat on his shaved head and neck. A friend of ours (who is starting to plan for her wedding) immediately told us after the ceremony that she needed Mitch's information because she wants her ceremony to be as memorable and fun-filled as Mitch had made ours. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant to help start the best years of our lives together. THANK YOU SO MUCH MITCH!! <3

I can't say enough good things about Mitch. He set the tone perfectly for our wedding with his sweet words from the heart and his humor. He is the best in the business. As all of our vendors were asking who our officiant was, the second we mentioned him, they all said we were in good hands and we definitely were. He was professional, he was kind, he made us and all of our guests feel like we were home. If you're looking for an amazingly kind man who knows how to crack a joke and somehow keep the seriousness of the ceremony all while guiding you through everything to marry you, pick Mitch.

What can I say? I LOVE Mitch!! My ceremony was unique and he added his special touch and humor to it. Everyone was asking about him after the ceremony and telling me how much they loved the ceremony also. Mitch made my day and took my anxiety level way down. Mitch has such an infectious personality and is exactly the type of person you want standing in front of you to help you take your vows. We saw Mitch perform a ceremony of our friends and instantly knew that we wanted him to be our officiant. Not only was he was able to put both of our nerves at ease on the day of the wedding, but after only talking to him for a short while, he put together an absolutely beautiful ceremony which was exactly how we had envisioned!! Mitch truly made the day special and about us and really helped us to live in the moment by pointing out just how meaningful each small piece of the day was. Mitch is the best!!! From our first meeting with Mitch, he could tell we are not a very serious couple, all about the mushy sentimental stuff. We can be serious, but also appreciate a good laugh :) He tailored our ceremony so perfectly to be a great combination of sentiment and humor. He made all of our guests laugh and cry, sometimes at the same time. My husband and I were just married by Mitch on January 16th and I can't say enough good things about him. From the moment we met with Mitch we knew he was a perfect fit for us. We really wanted a personal ceremony that centered around our love and that truly represented us. Mitch understood that perfectly and gave us exactly what we wanted. Mitch created the perfect ceremony for my husband and I. He had us laughing and crying which was perfect. From the very first moment we met John we laughed, and laughed and laughed some more. He was very professional and courteous. We knew he was the right person to marry me and my husband.
